Summary
Ren is a long-haul space trucker halfway through his route when his engine gives out, leaving him stranded. His only hope is his S.O.S. signal, beaming his location out into his corner of dead, empty space.
The hours tick down, and Ren's certainty that he is going to die alone grows. That is, until someone catches the signal.

Summary
The day was half over when Martyn started the lycanthropy potion. The afternoon sun streamed in through the windows, giving the plants in the brewing room a big fill of sunlight as the witch cut up daylilies into small pieces.
This potion was always made fresh for the evening, needing at least 3 hours to settle before being fully done. It was a bit of a pain, if Martyn were honest, as lycanthropy was a chronic curse. You can't quite get rid of it, but the potion helped keep it at bay.
He raised his cutting board, shoveling the ingredients into the cauldron bubbling happily away on its fire. Stationary cauldrons like it were easy enough to handle, a simple levitation spell with witch fire underneath. Besides, Martyn enjoyed showing off when his master was around. Even if she was absent today.
