An updated version of "We Didn't Start the Fire", current as of 2022 when I am writing this. Covers from 1989 (where the original song left off) to the end of 2022. The original song came out in September 1989; everything mentioned in this new version is after that and goes in chronological order. Notes at the bottom of this fic explain what the updated lyrics refer to. This new version has the same number of verses and of choruses, and the same outro, chorus, and rhyme scheme, as the original.
