With the School of the Cat scattered to the wind, more or less disbanded, a feline resigns herself to a fate of winters in the cold. That is until a kind wolf offers her the chance to spend the winter in good company at the famed Kaer Morhen, whether it's desperation or the prospect of spending more time with him that forces her to accept the offer, or both, she's unsure of. One thing is for certain, the cat shall be spending the next few months in the wolf den.

I've been reading a lot of lore on Witcher schools lately and I came across a fascinating bit of lore on female Witchers amongst the school of the cat. So, here we have, a very self indulgent fic about my Witcher oc and Eskel. It can be read as a /reader if you squint, however, but make no illusions that I've written this for my enjoyment only. It's also my first time writing Witcher fan fiction so the characters will be a little ooc. My apologies.

This cannot continue, and we won't allow it to. Come to Kaer Morhen and meet your brothers from across the world. We are waiting for you.
When the Fleet of the School of the Crane receives the call from Kaer Morhen, it doesn't take long for them to pack their bags and walk across the Continent to find the Blue Mountains, and their brothers.

Fianna of Lyria was not born, she was made. Taken in by The Witcher Vesemir at the age of five, there is plenty of intrigue surrounding her lineage, striking violet eyes, slightly pointed ears, and possessing an unknown amount of power, she is subjected to The Witcher mutations in the name of scientific experiment. Fianna was not expected to survive, but she did.
Sixty-five years later we meet a fully grown and matured Fianna when she comes across an old friend outside of Blaviken and follows her and her developing relationship with Geralt of Rivia as they travel the Continent, taking contracts on monsters and discovering their entwined destinies.

The child notices him, swerving a bit slightly to the left to avoid toppling straight into Geralt, but otherwise seems to dismiss him the next second as just another obstacle blocking his path.
It is the eye contact they make in the split second the child glances at him that did it.
A flash of yellow
Geralt’s arm instinctively snaps out and snatches the back of the child’s clothes as he dashes past him.

Witchers are rare. There are not many of them left after the sackings.
When Geralt is passing through a village to rest and resupply on his Path, he didn't expect to come across another witcher out here, and a Cat at that. What makes this situation even more unusual, is that said witcher is also just a pre-pubescent kid, a child.
There's something seriously wrong here, and Geralt is going to figure it out.

The bard and the dwarf aren't enough though, as the Viper needs the whole group at raising a witcher child he found. Surrounded by various adults, with Letho by her side, the girl has the opportunity to make her own Path despite of the witcher heritage.
