Summary
In a universe where Tony Stark never recruited Spider-Man to fight in Germany, sixteen-year-old Peter Parker is living his best life.
Less than a year after the events of Civil War, Peter is happy with the insanity he calls his daily life. He has his aunt and his amazing friends; what more could he need?
Turns out, it’s a superhero mentorship with none other than billionaire Tony Stark. Peter’s one condition is to keep his identity secret, and Mr. Stark agrees readily.
Things are looking up; naturally, that’s when it all goes off the rails.
Amidst the tangled web of the resurgence of an old enemy, accused of a crime he’s sure he didn’t commit, Peter must reconcile with his past to solve the mysteries threatening his future.
His options are limited; do everything in his power to prove his innocence, or face imprisonment on the Raft. It’ll be hard when there’s video evidence of his supposed crime, but Peter’s not going down without a fight.
He just has to be sure not to lose himself in the process.

Also, turns out… Death wasn’t good nutrition for a relationship. Especially not when said relationship was probably the most unhealthy known to the public. He and Pepper had broken up more times than he’d kept track off. Getting in that relationship had been a risk. Getting engaged had been a risk.
Then he lost Peter.
He lost half the people he knew.
Then he tried again. Tried to make things right. And Pepper let him, even though she knew the risks. Then he died.
Turns out, that was the last straw.
He’d been in the ICU. He’d burnt half his face off. He’d lost his arm – however he’d been gifted a mechanical one from Wakanda. – Golden, like his heart, was what Shuri had said.
And as soon as he was out of the hospital, Pepper had filed for a divorce. He didn’t blame her.
