Summary
Chan and Felix are done with the idol life once their band has to pause its activity while some of the members are in the army. After that, priorities change and the members' lives fall out of sync. Back in Australia, Felix and Chan have to find their footing and their respective places in the world again, all the while harbouring some very layered and complicated feelings for each other. What happens at night and under the cover of unconsciousness remains buried and unaddressed for long and things get additionally complicated when Chan gets a girlfriend. This story is about daring to look your feelings in the eye and sit with the uncomfortable ones to find out what they say about you and your needs.
The straight parts are not going to be explicit and are barely there. Focus of this fic are Felix and Chan.
The title is a reference to the idea of lycanthropy - that when a man turns into a wolf at night, he becomes unable to repress his deepest, most animal urges. Chan's SKZoo animal is a wolf and that's one thing this story draws on.
Full Moon is also a legendary song by Sonata Arctica that's about this very premise. -

Where as the days pass on tour and beyond, Felix starts to develop these feelings of their group leader, something greater and deeper than usual. But it's probably nothing, if anything, Felix just really likes his hair growth. That's all. After tour, when seeing Chan everyday won't happen as much, his feelings will go back to normal. Right?

He needs privacy. He has work to do, okay? So he has to tell Changbin and Jisung to not come by the studio for a few days — he's really struggling creatively right now, and he needs some time to get back into his own groove before he can work with anyone else. He has to tell Felix that he's just had a bunch of work dumped on him with a looming deadline — if Felix needs anything, to call, but otherwise Chan isn't going to be around as much for a few days.
He doesn't like to lie, but sometimes it's important. Sometimes, the outcome will be worth it.
