Clearly, he hadn’t been expecting this. Box hides his smile behind his hand and shakes his head with a heavy sigh. “I’m afraid not, little demon slayer.”
Shoto stiffens and clenches his hands into fists at his sides. He takes a deep breath, wills the heartache and tears to go away. What had once been his favorite pet name now caused his chest to seize up. What kind of demon slayer was he? So easily seduced into the bed of the most notorious demon time and time again?
He really should have followed through. The world (Shoto) would be better off without Vox Akuma.
