Hiza, having thrown a curious glance over her shoulder on the off chance that Wiggles had been reacting to her feline sister instead of a quirk slip-up, cut herself off mid word with a startled screech as she found herself face to face with a set of wide, shockingly pale lavender eyes.
In her hands, Hiza’s mug shattered into dozens of pieces and she found her shirt soaked in the drink she'd just spent five minutes waiting to have. She barely registered her wife’s red eyes flashing briefly at her, slamming her mouth shut as she realized who this was. “O-Oh, hi! Shinsou, right? I'm so sorry if I scared you, little listener — I wasn't expecting anyone!”
(Or, before sixteen-year-old Yamada Hiza made the hardest decision of her life to give up her son, she memorized the sight of his eyes. Fifteen years later, her wife brings the general education student she was training home, and Hiza finds those same unique, white and purple eyes looking back at her.)
