‘This’ being Tom’s desperate half-fantasy that was now playing out before his eyes. Over the years, he had made one too many jokes about a threesome before Mark finally snorted at one. Tom had raised an eyebrow. Mark, amused, said if Tom wanted one that badly he could just ask. Tom’s brain blue-screened, as it seemed to do often, and Mark had rolled his eyes, smiled, and said he’d talk to Skye.
