In an attempt to grow their arsenal of heroes, the commission started a cloning program. They were forced to shut it down after their first few failed attempts but years later Mayor Schlatt decided to start it up again. As they continue to have failures they branch out to experimenting on hybrids trying everything they can to make the perfect weapons. Finally after years of trying they have a successful clone…Sort of. After failing to recreate one of the top villains they decided to try mixing DNA. They hoped to get a weapon that could take down the villains but instead, they got Tommy. He couldn't control blood or kill with just a touch. No, instead he could heal. He didn't get The Angel of Death's wings, only his blonde hair and blue eyes, instead, Tommy got The Blade’s piglin traits.
Or clone Tommy, lab experiment Ranboo, the mayor's son Tubbo, and baby Michael run away to live proper lives.

Ghostboo had to take a breath when bloom said it. He had to remain carefully calm in order to keep Ranboo’s soul safe. But, now, looking at the drawings they’ve made of Tubbo, they can think about it. Really, truly think about it.

The ground beneath his feet was on fire and he didn't care, just stared at the prison as the explosion rocked the very foundations of the world. Bedrock flew up in the air as the building sank into the ground, the obsidian crumbling.
After it, he crawled out of the wreckage, body shifting back into place. His bones were on fire- his jaw split, unhinging in a way that he didn't know it could. Hell released it’s grip on him, and he crawled back into the world, afraid of the things he’d seen.
Jack crawled out of the piles of earth, rock, and wood, and screamed.
