Summary
#3 hero Phantom, aka Wilbur Craft, has been assigned to a new mission.
There’s been some talk about an underground gang kicking up a ruckus about something. No one knows exactly what’s going on but apparently it’s a big deal because they’ve even seen Schlatt getting involved.
Schlatt is the head of said gang, though they can’t quite arrest him due to how he covers his tracks.
Everyone knows it’s the truth even if lawfully he’s innocent.
So Wilbur has been assigned a new mission.
Infiltration.
...
So his first step after unpacking is getting to know the neighbors!
Or, Wilbur goes to a crime ridden district and gets to know his neighbors there. His number neighbor just so happens to be a rather annoyingly endearing gremlin.

Summary
Theseus, who didn’t know about him? He was the snarky hero that went from sitting in the medbays of the underground hero complex of Pogtopia, healing every hero that came in injured to fighting with the best heroes L’manberg had ever seen. He was a legend, an influence, and he always worked for the greater good!
Tommy wished that was how he saw himself too. Ice cold water dripped around him, his body screaming from the pain of the fall, though his power worked to fix him.
He couldn’t think of himself as the hero. Not as his hands stitched together the bruised and cut body of the one and only villain Siren. With both their breathing was shallow, near close to death, Tommy would be damned if he didn’t think the other was questioning why he was doing this. Even Tommy didn’t know.
Tommy was no hero, not after he had saved the life of Siren.
Or: Healer hero Tommy saves villain Wilbur and neither of them know how to handle that.

Summary
Tommy never really wanted to be villain, in fact, once upon a time, he had done everything in his power to be a hero. He had wanted to be just like the heroes he saw on the News, he wanted to save people and kick ass. But of course, fate is a cruel thing, and with honeyed words and some manipulation, one of the deadliest and prolific villains in the city brought Tommy to his side and used him quite literally as a puppet. The boy who once wanted to be a hero, now turned villain, and now he finds himself in Pandora's Vault. The high security prison for the worst of the worst villains, and Tommy finally sees a chance at peace. After all, he can't do anything horrible if he's locked away. But of course, fate is a cruel thing, and the band of heroes he once looked up to have other things planned for him.

“Who did this to you?” the Blood God growls, low and dangerous. And anyone in their right mind would be afraid, would be shitting their pants, but Tommy just flicks his eyes to the floor and mumbles that it doesn’t matter.
Echo hums softly, brushing his fingers gently over the bruises coloring Tommy’s cheek, stopping at the gash over his eyebrow before carding through his hair. Tommy doesn’t mean to lean into the touch, he knows these men are dangerous, are deadly, but he can’t help but feel safe, wrapped up in their brutal care.

Summary
When the Heroes Association shut down for good, most heroes had already been on suspension for months. It still felt so sudden. The titan that once ruled over not just Tommy’s entire life, but all of society, was gone.
In hindsight, the fall started even before the Syndicate existed. Maybe even before he was born. But every sign of a failing system felt like more proof it could never be undone. The rampant corruption and misuse of power were all symptoms of a diseased tyrant who died on his deathbed.
Now here they are. No more heroes.

The door opens with a slight squeak-- a problem in the hinges that Techno’s has to get around to fixing-- and the warm light from inside pours out onto the front porch. It’s a stark difference from the dim rain of the night, and already, Techno can feel a chill rush in.
Wilbur stands there with wide eyes, soaking wet from head to toe, with something small held up to his chest. It’s wrapped in what looks to have been his jacket.
“Ah.” Wilbur gives a half-hearted grin, ignoring the insistent meow coming from the bundle of fabric in his palms. “Hi.”
