Summary
In the two weeks since the demise of the former (possibly fake, it's really unclear) Mayor of Megapolis, the Monkie Kids have settled into a comfortable routine. Hoping to shake it up in a pleasant way, Bai He invites her new friends to meet her best friends at her school’s spring concert, where they are set to perform. And she made sure to invite all of her new friends! ... So, yeah, Wukong didn't get an invite.
But silly things like formal invitations have never stopped The Monkey King. Besides, Bai He's spring concert is the perfect time for The Great Sage to bury the hatchet with the little girl. Show off his true good side and all. So what if she seems reluctant... and avoidant... and is actively avoiding him and turning her nose up at him--the point is, Wukong is going to get Bai He to like him, come hell or high water!
But when a foul plan from an unseen foe traps MK and his friends, Wukong, Macaque, Tang, and Pigsy must rely on Bai He and her friends to navigate the halls of the school safely. All the while this foe grows interested in Bai He's newfound lady bone demon abilities... and some other interesting power she seems to have developed...

This story focused on the fact that there was a kind of demon called a water demon. fire demons and water demons were at war, and despite water demons and fire demons having equal amount of power, fire demons murdered every water demon known to kind. except for one. (y/n). during the pilot episode, Redson sees that (y/n) is a water demon. he doesn't believe it at first, but he soon saw them closer and realized that (y/n) actually is a water demon.

Either way, the noodles aren’t what he came here for. Wukong sneaks a glance at Mei, noting how she swirls a spoon idly in her bowl, refusing to look up. He frowns, only for a short second. He throws on a smooth smile, plopping down beside her.
“Hey, Dragon Girl. What’ve you been up to?”
Mei meets him, shrugging her shoulders. “Nothing much.” she says flatly. Wukong doesn’t let that deter him. “No fire training or anything?”
Her green eyes narrow, and his smile falters slightly. That may or may not have been the right thing to say.
“I, uh, it’s nice seeing you again?” The words come out as more of a question than a statement. “Yeah, same here.” Mei doesn’t bother putting on a grin. She turns away, focusing distractedly on her food.
Wukong can’t stop from frowning at that, inwardly sighing. He stands up, waves goodbye to Sandy who keeps his kind smile no matter the situation. When he sits back down beside Mk, the kid’s gaze lingers on his best friend.
Or, Wukong regrets what happened with the Samadhi Fire, and desperately tries to make it up to Mei.
