Summary
Richie’s heart flutters at the thought of it. Of the three of them - Eddie, Richie, and Frankie - opening up their home to a child who needs a family, of how it’ll be to have another kid in the house, maybe younger than Frankie, or maybe even the same age, since Richie knows that he and Eddie would open their hearts to any child who needed them.
Richie sometimes thinks of all the milestones he missed with Frankie - his first words, his first steps, being dropped off at school for the very first time. And he’s happy to be in his life now, knows that there’s so many milestones Frankie hasn’t reached yet - and god, Richie has no fucking clue how he’s gonna handle it, the thought of Frankie graduating high school and going to college, of growing up - but Richie can’t deny that his heart aches with the idea of being able to witness it all over again, with Frankie and Eddie by his side.
