Summary
Sterling Silver stands tall before the tree. Within the pale bark, writhing and whipping around in unnatural coils, stands Salt, dark black chains wrapped tight around his body and pinning him in the center.
Salt roars once last time, a cry filled with pain and anger, loud and piercing in the quiet air. The last thing he sees before he is thrown into oblivion is the harsh, cold glint of divine silver forks hurtling towards him, then everything goes dark and deathly silent save for the final funeral-bell ring of metal on stone. The nails for their eternal coffins.
There is nothing left besides the faint glimmer of the silver forks. Mismatched blue eyes look back at him from the spotless surface of his prison, blazing with hate that has nowhere to go. He does not want to think about the dark purple cloud that looms over his reflection.

Summary
“If my Soul Jam is not enough, then…” Pure Vanilla says, wavering. “Then the only other thing I can offer you is… myself.”
Shadow Milk’s mouth slowly curves up. He begins slowly pacing in a tight circle around where Pure Vanilla stands, each step slow and deliberate like he’s stalking prey. Pure Vanilla feels exposed and helpless enough to fit the role.
“That’s more like it,” the beast purrs. His circling stride tightens until his tails can lightly brush against Pure Vanilla’s body, gentle and careful like a caress. He only feels more trapped as everywhere he can possibly look is taken up by Shadow Milk’s draconic form. “I wonder if you truly know what it means to offer yourself to a dragon, Pure Vanilla Cookie.”
Desperate to save his friends once more, Pure Vanilla offers to strike a deal with one of the most powerful dragons in existence. The outcome isn't what he expected.

Summary
Ratio did not expect to ever go on more than one mission with Aventurine, nor did he anticipate that they would find a strange, if effective, working relationship with each other. He still wishes Aventurine was not so prone to recklessness, but he has been slowly seeing glimpses of what can only be an extremely sharp and intelligent mind behind the grandstanding and opulence Aventurine wears as masks.
He’s scanning over the latest mission brief for him and Aventurine to work together on when he recieves a text. A glance shows that it’s Aventurine himself, who has likely also just gotten the same brief. He opens the message, which reads, “Don’t feel like going out for a meeting this time. Want to stop by my place and chat? I’ll arrange refreshments and pay for our next business dinner,” followed almost immediately by a winking emoji.
Ratio and Aventurine continue working together, despite everyone including themselves thinking they would barely get through the first one. They start meeting each others' partners in the process.
