Summary
In another universe, one of medieval times with dark eldritch horrors lurking just under the surface, Kris is adopted off the street by the Dreemurr family. Their relatively peaceful existence is upended when they are sacrificed to the demon prince, Ralsei, and wind up in the Dark World. With Ralsei guiding them, they set out into a world of strange horrors, befriending great eldritch beasts as they journey. Summary
Hallownest is a breathtaking long-ruined Bug Kingdom, sprawling with ancient lore, treacherous landscapes, and dangerous foes. The very place oozes with mystery and myth.
It just so happens this magical fantastical domain is right in the backyard of some Human kid named Dewi. And through some crazy and nonsensical adventure (i.e the comic), he's come to find out about the kingdom of said bugs. With Hallownest's Ghost and Hornet, he somehow defeated the Radiance only a week ago!
Things were looking up, except for his constant sneeze and sniffy nose... but his Dad said it's tree allergies. So it's probably fine!Dewi's happy to think that...until he ends up waking up in the body of a bug and shoved splat in the middle of the Hallownest Kingdom. Unsure, scared, and very confused, Dewi sets out to find his bug friends and reverse whatever curse has been laid on him, while making some new friends in the process.

What if we are actually the strong ones? The crazy ones? The hard-to-kill ones? The dangerous ones? Or maybe even the adorably cute ones? The ones that will out-progress most other species because we take seemingly too big/stupid risks and it pays off? Or we are very good at looking at problems from different perspectives. etc. You get the point.

Summary
Five Pebbles is being consumed by his past mistakes. His can festers away, each cycle spreading the malignant Rot inside, and struggle as he may, there is no escape. But a single pearl, stumbled upon by his last citizen, Artificer, in a stroke of pure luck, shows him a way out. A way to free himself from his can, escape the Rot, and maybe find a way to redeem himself for his past. It's as simple as cutting a puppet's strings.
The outside world is dangerous, but with determination and fierce companionship, Pebbles and his group of strange slugcat companions can not only survive, but find a place for themselves in the world, where the new civilizations of slugcat and scavenger rise from the ashes of the ancients. The ghosts of the past can be overcome, and a new future found, but it will require no shortage of bravery, insight, and determination.
Breaking free is just the first step. The real challenge begins after.

A superhero au with iterators as heroes!
Except they are still themselves from the main world and are deeply disturbed by being suddenly ripped from their cans, thrown half-way across the universe and shoved into a fleshy biological vessel that makes no sense and feels awfully restrictive.
Enter: Five Pebbles, who is very unhappy about being reduced to... This.. Fleshy thing. Whatever it is.
He also STILL tries to run from his problems and other iterators, refusing to speak to them.
Unfortunately for him, the other iterators now have legs and the ability to run after him.AKA: Five Pebbles is still mentally ill, Suns is trying very hard to help, Moon keeps adopting cats, NSH found out about the joys of minecraft and memes, and Unparalleled Innocence causes as many issues as possible (Five Pebbles says so).

Now with memories of freezing cold and information on how to not only fix the rot, but also fix Moon as well, he promised himself he would do whatever he could to never have to relive this awful cold all alone.
The isolation, cold, pain, and hundreds of thousands of cycles worth of thinking made him dead set on never going through that ever again. Even if that meant ripping off his umbilical before that could ever happen.In the meantime... The rest of the local group is confused. After all, the Pebbles they knew was a pretensious jerk who killed Moon then cut all communications, but the one that came back to them was a paranoid mess who seemed to space out every few minutes.

Many things have been taken for granted by many people, but it’s only when something gets overlooked because of how obvious it seems, that you realise just how wrong you were. For example, nobody noticed the small colony of ancients tucked away in the mountains for generations, right up until a few got curious and decided to search back through the forgotten ruins of their kind's past.
For an iterator, who thought they’d seen it all, perhaps a sudden change in perspective is all that's needed to reevaluate exactly which limits are really there, and which aren’t.
In short : two Ancients go crawl through five pebbles’ facility grounds, scooping up friends and getting some iterators off their strings. As a treat
