It has been roughly twenty years since The Seven, the legendary 1970's rock band consisting of Sonic the Hedgehog, Amy Rose, Silver the Hedgehog, Blaze the Cat, Rouge the Bat, Shadow the Hedgehog, and Knuckles the Echidna, played their final concert in 1978. The fateful night had left the band shattered, with addictions rearing their heads and relationships broken killed the band at the time of their height in cultural prominence.Twenty years later, a documentary finally sheds light on what caused the band to fall apart in the first place. After the passing of Sonic's beautiful wife, Sally Acorn, she leaves a message to Sonic, who's complex love with partner Amy Rose was destroyed in a ball of cocaine-fueled fire and alcohol-induced oblivion, to reach out to Amy upon her passing.
With the band returning to the cultural zeitgeist due to the documentary, Sonic wonders if he should finally see Amy again after two decades of no contact, and Amy wonders if he ever will.
And when he shows up at her door unannounced 20 years later, it's like he never, ever left.
