Fate gave soulmate(s) to every human, to be their most ideal partner(s). Fate was even kind enough to bestow humans with mark(s) that could help them found their soulmate(s) easily.
But the Absolute Being from other dimension was not the same. It never bothered to determine who was/were soulmate(s) for each angel and monster, not even for the Fragments of Brilliant Light and the Monarchs.
When the Rulers bestowed their powers to human vessel, and the Monarchs possessed theirs, they unknowingly rewrite what fate has determined.
And thus, some Hunters lost their soulmate bond(s) after awakened/re-awakened.
