Dick’s goal for Thanksgiving (code named Operation F.I.S.H.): A family outing to the aquarium.
It feels achievable - everyone has been getting along better lately, Jason is spiraling closer, Cass is coming home. But there is a lot of unspoken hurt in every direction, and Dick’s own position in the family is shakier than ever since Bruce returned.
If Dick wants to realize his dream of family bonding, there will have to be many painful conversations between all parties. Dick’s own secrets will need to surface, the ones he has long kept submerged, the ones he will fight to sink forever.
(Or: Where Bruce is just a bit darker, even less emotionally available, and treats everyone a little worse, and how they all fix their family anyway.)

Oooh my god, hands down one of- if not THE BEST- fanfiction i have ever read. The characters, their motivations, their thoughts and feelings, it’s all so beautifully, painfully human. I have never read a fic that breathed so much life into characters before. Everyone feels so genuine!! No character just sits and waits and fawns over Dick, they’re all (mostly) grown ass adults with their own lives, and it’s obvious so much is happening behind the scenes. But since Dick isn’t privy to it, neither are we, and that’s amazing!! It leaves you guessing and making up scenes in your head to fill in the blanks, and if that’s not a sign of good writing I don’t know what is. Every story thread was addressed and given, if not a conclusion, then an open ending that leaves you feeling like everything will be okay. I’m genuinely blown away by the prose, the pacing, the themes and just. The whole dang story! I feel like no praise I sing will be enough. I’ll definitely be coming back and re-reading this masterpiece. ;,,,)

Izuku was debating the merits of seeking out the new vigilante group that was on the news when he heard the list of known members. He knew those names. Specifically, he knew those because they were assigned to six of his hoodies.
He knew he should come clean. Maybe just stick to one costume, or stop being a vigilante altogether. Groups were treated much more seriously than lone entities, and he could get in serious trouble if they sent heroes after him expecting backup that didn’t exist.
A week later, he had characters designed for every hoodie he owned.
In which Izuku becomes a one-man organization, and everyone has to deal with the consequences.

So good and so sweet and so soft and honestly, just, all around perfect?? Iruma had been stuck in the tower for three years now. Nothing ever changed—until one night, when a glowing dragon’s eye peered at him through the narrow window.

The writing is so wonderfully wistful and fitting of a fairytale setting and the story itself is adorable and sweet, with just a touch of sadness. I definitely recommend!
