Sora has been dealing with his crush for the last five, long years. His poor heart can't take much more of this and some wise words from his friendly neighborhood data companion spur him into action. He can only hope that Riku will be able to accept it.

Riku moves Sora’s hand away. “I don’t know,” he ventures, biting his lip. “Everyone’s asleep, you’d have to be quiet… maybe we need to wait—”
“No!” Sora yelps, before slapping both hands over his mouth, his eyes wide.
They stare at each other for a long moment, quiet and still. There’s movement in the other bunks, easy to hear through the thick curtain that separates Sora’s bunk from the others’. Riku and Sora breathe in sync, some unnamed tension building as they strain their ears for signs that Sora has awoken the others.
Riku visits Sora's bunk to wish him a happy birthday...
