Summary
The legends of the End are as widespread as they are ridiculous, telling of some third dimension that was accessed by the people of the Great Before- nonsense, of course. Only an idiot would dedicate their life to finding such a place, especially considering the dangers that are said to lurk in the mysterious plane.
Tubbo Underscore is that idiot.

“It’s a risk,” Techno muttered, fixing his grip on the axe.
“I thought the same about you,” Phil said, looking back at Techno. They locked eyes. Techno looked away first.

Tubbo knows some things for certain: he was found in a box; everyone else thinks his parents abandoned him; he's got magic, which is a problem when the God of the Overworld has banned it and one of His Champions lives in L'Manburg; one of the founders of L'Manburg takes great issue with the magic ban; Tubbo's got friends and allies all around him, including Tommy; things are more complicated than they seem; the End has been sealed.
These are all facts. But questions remain: why, exactly, would magic be banned and the End sealed? Why was Tubbo left in a box? And what, exactly, happened to the last Champion of the End?
