Like how Alastor makes his hopeless heart flutter with the belief that maybe dreams are still possible; that Alastor makes him feel something, anything, everything all at once, and it is as heavenly as it is torturous.
But all he can manage, in a voice so small he can scarcely believe it’s his own, is, “He makes me laugh.”

Summary
The hum of the neon lights illuminated the street, the red of the hotel had been brighter than Lucifer anticipated when building but it still looked very pleasing.
Lucifer stood next to Charlie and watched as her friends talked in reminiscent of what they finally had finished, all of them staring into the neon lights of the newly built and bright hotel. It had only taken about a day for Lucifer and the residents of the previous—and brand new—hotel to build up the base structure for the updated and renovated building. It took about a week total for him to fully build and furnish Charlie's hotel. The rubble of the old building was fully depleted and now it is only the shining brights of the new one.
Lucifer stared into the title of the modern building, and felt the warmth of pride in his chest. Knowing that he could help Charlie with something beside embarrassing the shit out of her was so rewarding to feel in his–lack of–heart. He was so proud of Charlie, doing something he didn’t have the courage to accomplish even in the early stages of hell's construction.or
A long winded feelings battle between Lucifer and Alastor while Alastor bleeds into his suit.

Summary
"We should act like we're dating!" Lucifer blurts out, wincing as his ears register how unintentionally loud he was.
Alastor regards him silently for a moment and Lucifer does his best not to squirm under the scrutiny. He fails almost immediately. He feels his face start to heat up and rushes to explain himself.
"Think about it. It will drive Vox crazy! Us sitting a little too close together on the couch, stuff that the others won't even notice..." Lucifer trails off into an awkward laugh, because Alastor isn't saying anything. If fact, he doesn't even seem to be breathing.

Vox will be at the hotel for a week to get some "promotional material" and Lucifer wants the television demon to be as miserable as possible without Charlie realizing what he is doing. Luckily he has the best idea!- Language:
