Alerie will always curse herself for not knowing better as a child, even if children are not supposed to know what goes on around them. Children are supposed to enjoy their innocence and learn from the adventures life provides them.
Too bad she was stripped from that privilege.
She used to think she'll get used to it, and she did for a while. Until Aegon reappeared in her life and she started to give in to anything he said.
Maybe it was written in their destiny, but deep down she always knew they would be the end of each other.
