Summary
The Swellview Preparatory Institute was the most prestigious boarding school on the West Coast side of America. It was essentially for the wealthy and intelligent. Most kids who got sent there were just Nepo-babies who didn’t want to go to Switzerland for school. Charlotte Page was one of the few lucky ones out of five in their class to gain a full scholarship to attend.
Her life has always been bombarded with textbooks, flashcards, and staying up late to study. That’s the way Charlotte has always known. As much as it hurts, the payoff is excellent.
Henry Hart, on the other hand, was a blonde teenage heartthrob. He did plenty of sports and extracurriculars while juggling APs as well. He and Charlotte have always ranked next to each other when it came to academics. The two hated it, but they’d been stuck side by side since birth. No, seriously, their moms are family friends!
But Henry Hart also has a secret…which the one and only Charlotte Page manages to figure out through a terrible freak accident.

Charlotte can maybe count on her hand the entirety of stupid things she's done in her life.
Getting sucked into the Auto-Snacker, for example. Or when she let Ray convince her to play in the stupid dodgeball tournament, although she wouldn't really consider that stupid on her part seeing as she didn't even stay in the game for long. When she accidentally anger Bysh Billsky and got stuffed in a trash can. The time she put Jasper's retainer in her mouth because she accidentally told a stupid bird Henry was Kid Danger. Almost getting eaten by a lion because she didn't want to get kissed by Kid Danger.
Okay, a little more than one hand. But her point still stands. In her nineteen years of life, rarely has she ever done something so incredibly stupid, so out of character-ly dumb, something so awful she wants to crawl into the rubble of the Man Cave and die of shame, than tonight.
She sent Henry Hart, Henry Hart, the boy she grew up with, her best friend in the entire world, a thirst trap.
