The system that should have protected him, had chosen to turn a blind eye, all because of the reputation of his abuser- his father- The Novak Pack Alpha. However, the moment he turned 18, his big brother, Gabriel, saved him.
Now, he is 25 years old. To this day, he is still recovering and trying to get a foothold in this unforgiving world. His healing is made harder, as his own pack, not so subtly, chooses to single him out- to them, particularly alphas, his scars are seen as undesirable and his kindness is nothing but a sign of weakness.
Castiel has been forced to believe that his life is meant to be a lonely one. And when special events such as the Meet & Greet Dinner & Dance for singles are held; his heart fills with sorrow.

“Hmm,” Stiles says. “Huh.” He starts talking to the ceiling again, and Derek’s seriously beginning to wonder if this guy escaped from Eichen. “You think that would work? Hmm. Yeah, I getcha. Alright.” He looks back at Derek. “You’ve got your wish.”
“What?”
“You’ve never been born."
“You’re crazy,” Derek huffs. “Absolutely out of your mind.”
“The jury’s still out on that one,” Stiles says, shrugging. “But I suggest you take a quick look in the mirror.”
Derek’s reluctant to look away from a potential hunter, but what he sees when he glances over is enough to make him full-on turn his back to the man. He staggers forward and grabs at the sink, using it to hold himself up.
His eyes are glowing gold.
Not red. Not even blue.
Gold.

They work at the Home Depot and their main struggles are not against the supernatural nor the rough and tumble streets of the Southside but with working day in and day out in the crappy world of retail! More specifically the constant headaches of dealing with pushy contractors and clueless D-I-Y-ers that seem to constantly annoy the piss out of our main characters all the while navigating the tricky world of romance, lust, workplace drama, gossip and of course jealousy. Our main characters will be tested by emotional struggles and allegiances will be strained. Will our gang survive in one piece?
