“It’s beautiful.”
The flame spluttered. Softened. Fluttered, like a baby bird.
“What?”
Zuko’s eyes shone bright, his face bathed in an ethereal blue. His hands hovered around her flame and cradled it, almost like a child. “The colour. The blue. Don’t know. It’s just so pretty, ’Zula.”
His whispers rang as loud as a bell.
