"How's the investigation about that dirty omega who lured me into sleeping with him? Have you found him yet?" Gao Tu puts the phone a little far after hearing Shen Wenlang's furious voice
"I've got nothing on him yet." Gao Tu answered, tears held back
"I'm going to ruin that omega's life once I find out who he is!" Shen Wenlang breathed out in anger.
Gao Tu tries not to stifle a sound of his sobs.
"Gao Tu?" This will probably be the last time I'll ever hear my name come out of your lips...
"Wenlang..." Gao Tu whispered.
"H-Huh?" Shen Wenlang— flustered since it's been 4-5 years since he's heard Gao Tu call him by his name... .
"Shen Wenlang..." Gao Tu smiles behind the phone as he calls his first love of ten years for the last time... How bittersweet.
"Goodnight." He ends the call and covers his mouth to muffle his sobs. Goodbye, Shen Wenlang let's not see each other again...
And he watched as the flames swallowed his apartment until it's left in shambles

Summary
