Summary
Inhaling deeply, Quinn pulled back and grinned. Bryce stared in horrified fascination as his fangs slowly extended. They were longer than she had anticipated. He opened his mouth wider to allow the bottom set of fangs to come into place. Breathing heavily, he ran his tongue across his glistening teeth to wet them. His eyes flashed that same dull red color from earlier. Bryce gasped as he ducked down to her arm once more. He ran his tongue along the muscle of her inner elbow, panting against her skin.
“S-stop…” she whispered. Quinn only gripped her arm tighter. The hand on her back tightened its grasp. Bryce could feel his fingernails dig into her skin through her tank top. Her fear rose in her throat. She stiffened and pushed back against Quinn’s embrace. The desperation that had once made him look pitiful and helpless now made him look like an animal ready to devour her in a single bite.
She felt one of his fangs nick her skin.
