At 19 years old, Alfred had finally run out of time. He’d put off, pleaded out of, and straight up run away from marriage for as long as he possibly could. In fact, he’d put it off so long he thought he was in the clear.
Of course that all seemed pretty silly now, bundled up against the desert cold nearly on the doorstep of his fiance’s kingdom.
With war on the horizon, Princess Alfred of Amerys must do a duty he was never suited for, in a country he was never prepared to do it in. Yúnzhōu is a six month journey from home, and its Emperor is a mystery to him. But he's determined to do his part to save his people, even if it means marriage to a man he's never met whose language he doesn't speak and whose culture he was never taught.
But he may find himself more suited to life in the Imperial Palace than he thought, and perhaps his husband more suited to him than he first appeared.

Summary
Alfred was just a normal guy till he accidentally touched a painting and ended up in the past where a lost kingdom named Rose existed still. The longer Alfred stays in this place the more he sees that something dark is happening. War is rampant, beast are all around, and not to say a curse king Ivan has as well.
The kingdom needs saving and Alfred seems to be their only hope
The so called " Saint Queen" has returned ( which is Alfred) and time is running out.
Romance flourish between the cold hearted King Ivan and Alfred
But will it last? And will Alfred ever get home?

How the hell…he’d said, what, four words? And this guy had already picked up on his accent? His nonexistent accent, thank you very much. Alfred was taught by a Russian specialist, the best in his class, and perfected it with his neighbors, an old Russian couple who’d moved to the States last year.
Okay, so what. So what if this man noticed a dialect difference. All he had to do was act confused. His backstory was airtight; he could improvise.
