“You!” Xiao looked at the Blue Wrinkly Man top to toe, left to right, his voice bordering on teary. Was he seriously getting emotional? “While I shouldn’t have found out about your relationship this way, I’m truly glad you’re suited to my dear friend’s needs.”
Shigaraki frowned real hard. “Are you high or something, kid? What is wrong with you? In what universe does this look like a relationship?”
Oh, you poor innocent soul, Izuku thought, remembering the diabolically ‘creative’ fanfics Kaminari introduced to him. You have no idea.

“Mmph,” Matt slumped his head on the mirror, raising a finger. “The question is, how are you not tired after drills?”
“What drills?”
Hang on.
Matt’s eyes narrowed, “You mean, you weren’t there this morning?”
“Oh, you mean, that’s what the ringing in the middle of the night was for?” Keith’s face split into a smirk.
Matt suppressed the urge to slam his head into the sink.

Summary
“Whatcha guys doing for Christmas?” Matt asked suddenly.
Keith looked up from his cards, furrowing his brow at Matt’s question. “Uhh… I haven’t really celebrated Christmas in years, so…” He shrugged nonchalantly, though his wistful expression betrayed his thoughts.
Matt tactfully decided not to comment. “Shiro, what about you?”
“Nah, I don’t celebrate. Usually, in the morning, my family and I just catch up on much-needed sleep, then we head to work in the afternoon,” Shiro replied offhandedly.
“Okay, that’s it.” Matt jumped to his feet and rolled up his sleeves. “I am going to fix this.” He pointed a finger towards the pair and yelled aggressively, “And you two better enjoy it!” then stormed out of the room with an air of dignity and complete sanity.
Keith and Shiro exchanged a look. “Should I be worried?” Keith asked.
Shiro waved his hand around nonchalantly. “Nah.”Merry Christmas!

The communicator beeped a few times, and Matt’s voice rang through. “Shiro! What do you need this time? I’m in the middle of class.” Thankfully, he only sounded a tad bit exasperated. “You’re lucky that you’re a ranking officer and the professors love you like crazy.”
“I can’t find Keith.”
Matt was silent for a moment. “You checked all our hideouts, I presume?”
“Yes. Even the roof.”
“Have you, I don’t know, checked his room?”
Shiro wanted to slap himself. He swore he could hear Matt’s growing Cheshire grin.
“I’ll take that as a no, then. Tell me when you find him, ‘kay?”
Warning: Character death mentioned. The mood of this story is drastically different compared to the rest of the series.

“Listen up!” Matt glared at the pair, channelled his best sergeant impression. Ironically, he sounded like Shiro. “We will be having a competition. Whoever wins it gets the ice cream sandwich.”
Adam huffed. Shiro nodded thoughtfully, “Sounds fair.”
“So basically, I will hide this,” he continued, holding up the snack, “and you’ll find it. If you do, it’s yours. Fair and square.”
Shiro’s eyes narrowed, “Fine, but you’ll have to promise to hide it in this house.”
“And no eating it,” Adam added.
Matt sighed. Damn, they knew him too well.

The little elf clutched the blankets of the bed, his small, round face and brows furrowed in pure terror.
"I... I don't want them to take me away!" he whimpered between sobs. "They've taken Uncle Nelyo, they'll come for me too!"_______

Summary
Sauron the Deceiver had once promised Celebrimbor and his people in Eregion knowledge to make rings of power - power even to manipulate time and slow the decaying of their beloved Middle-earth.
Apparently, the Lord of Gifts gave more than he intended to. Celebrimbor and Galadriel find themselves thrown back in time with their rings after Celebrimbor's torment and death in Angband.
Neither of them feel inclined to allow the events of the First Age to play out a second time.
