Severus Snape has a small problem, Hermione granger keeps coming to his classroom to have him help her grade her students Arithmancy papers and he cannot (Willnot) acknowledge he has growing feelings for her. On the same vein he also will not admit to having a dependency on calming draughts or that he has gotten soft in his time after the war. He is having many problems but mainly they all (In his opinion) stem from the first. He just cannot understand why she keeps doing this, she obviously can grade her own papers. A story of Severus overcoming emotional struggle and hopefully realizing hes worth some love. (WIP and I may be editing and reposting chapters multiple times so bare with me please. Happens at the same time as Bromance of Necessity but so is not continuation. Also Both of these are inspired by the Scratch That Niche fest prompt)

Set five years after the wizarding war, Hermione worked hard to pardon some of the criminals that faced charges that were not their fault like Severus who was manipulated, or like Gregory Goyle whos father and family basically raised him to be a death eater, like Malfoy who was much the same. Our story follows once such saved by her hand and his growing relationship with one Ronald Billius Weasley who in this story is an Auror with trust issues specifically surrounding those pardoned by Hermione's gracious forgiveness. When his work as an Auror forces him to seek out Goyle for help, he is expecting to find the boy who was a problem for him in school but what opens the door when he knocks is a man seemingly built form marble in nothing but a bath towel. This is the story of Ron slowly having discoveries about himself and his former bully no one saw coming.
(Also I will be editing this as it goes on and I am taking allot of liberty with some of the character traits. Very non cannon.)
