Bio
Fandoms: Currently deeply focused on all media canons (and fanons) of MDZS, especially the novel and the live action TV series. Also some Miraculous Ladybug. Lots of others that I enjoy but haven't written and posted anything in yet.
Contact: Via comments. I also have a not-currently-very active Dreamwidth. And I have been Discording!!! Comment somewhere or other if you'd like my Discord.
Personal Info: In my 30s as of 2021. Queer and proud of it. Genderqueer. White or Celtic-American. USA. I speak English and Spanish. Autistic/ADHD neurodivergent, also mentally ill, also with an invisible physical disability. I pet cats and read books a lot.
Philosophy: Ship and let ship. Fiction is not reality. Fiction matters because art matters because we are alive and here. Exploring dark themes is a legitimate creative practice. Fandom, queer culture, and artwork-as-activism are historically deeply intertwined. Public shaming via call-outs is bullying, not activism. Open to feedback, not to gotchas.
While I occasionally remind readers *not* to take something as a role model, and/or encourage people to take their emotions about fictional injustice and use it as real-life motivation, FICTION IS NOT REAL and I am NOT qualified to give life advice to random readers.
If you don't get that, before reading my fic, please read some meta explaining the concept, such as: this meta.Beta Reading: I am available to do beta reading! I am also looking for betas and sensitivity readers. Find out more here: Alatefeline's Beta Reading Policies.
Nomenclature Note: It's alate as in "winged." I read a lot of Ursula K. Le Guin as a kid. Remember Catwings?
