Not only did he have to deal with his coworkers snide remarks and hurtful comments all of last summer, but this summer the co-counselor for their bunk is Wilhelm, the younger brother of Erik who everyone acts like is camp royalty.
He’s dreading Wilhelm being as bad, if not worse than his brother, but then Wilhelm turns out to be different than he’d anticipated, stirring up unexpected feelings in them both.

The night light shines perfectly on Simon's skin, his alcohol addled brain duly notes. "I think I've been in awe from the first time I saw you perform in that show you opened for. And today I had my breath taken away again, you know. Your voice dulled the irritating noise around me." God, Wilhelm needs to stop talking.
