Summary
The second sequel to You Can't Go Home Again. A post-ZSJL timeline. Steppenwolf has left his old ways behind and settled down on Earth. But new threats arise to test the Justice League, and they remind him that one can never completely put the past to rest.

Summary
Post ZSJL. A sequel to the fic You Can't Go Home Again. Darkseid's planned invasion of Earth has been thwarted by a successful rebellion of the New Gods.
Pardoned by the Guardians and free from all allegiances, a redeemed Steppenwolf returns to Earth with a new weapon in hand and new companions at his side. He assumes human form and tries to blend in. The resurrected New God goes by the alias Steven Volf and patiently plots his revenge.
Update: A late Christmas special that coincides with Valentines Day. Barda is reunited with Scott.
