“I’m here to complete the registration for the feline category.”
“Ah, Hyunjin?” The officiant asked before flipping through his paperwork, humming as he went.
“Birman… turning 25 in March?” He heard the officiant ask. Hyunjin was so used to the routine that even the slightest deviation had his ears nearly twitching. That wasn’t a question they usually asked.
Hyunjin watched the officiant’s expression change as the assistant confirmed it. “Ah. Last season then.” He stamped his registration papers and handed the assistant his portion of them.
Last season? Hyunjin fought the unconscious urge to tilt his head. What did that mean?

Hyunjin had spent years working the hybrid show circuits, proudly bringing home ribbons every time. The wins brought him momentary affection from his owner, which was the only relief from his highly strict training routine.
After he ages out of competitions and Chan brings him home, he doesn’t know how to be a normal cat anymore.

Hyunjin had developed a bit of a name for himself over the years. Reckless, messy. A whore.
His manager had warned him time and time again that eventually he would have a scandal too big for them to handle, and once Hyunjin is found unconscious in the streets after a brand event, his manager gives him an ultimatum.

Summary
Hyunjin hadn’t really met a lot of the people who worked across the street. The tailors used to wave until one of them awkwardly pursued Hyunjin and he awkwardly explained that he was gay, and the little grocery store’s staff changed over so much that it never felt like there was a point in getting to know them.
There had been a vacant space directly across the road from him though. Empty from the day Hyunjin moved in to his little flower shop.
But eventually the for sale sign disappeared and an illuminated ‘Bang Tattoo’ sign was hung above the window.

Hyunjin kicks his hips up again in response, nodding as much as he could without letting Changbin’s fingers go.
They both laugh and Hyunjin’s core heats when he sees Chan reach for the bottle of lube. “You’re insatiable.”

Chan gave his affirmation and moved to end the call before his superintendent spoke again.
“The arrangement will begin on Monday, you can meet us at the office.”
