Attached, there’s two pictures of dresses. One of them is black satin Margiela dress, backless, with a square neckline and with a slit on the side. Satoru distinctly remembers that dress giving her anxiety the last time she saw it, always a little on edge that Suguru’s tits might spill out and flash everyone. The other dress is deep, burgundy red, a strapless corset dress with boning and intricate drapes and ruffles. Objectively, the red dress is prettier, form fitting and complex, but it’s got so many layers of fabric. No slit. No possibility for her to sneak her fingers underneath.

the person whose bookmarks were my source for this fic described it as foundational to the ship in their notes. i absolutely agree. I love a slow burn and this was a perfect one.
