Stiles Stilinski is burnt out and disillusioned from work. He quits his job and is more or less ordered by his Dad to take a very long vacation. But where should he go?
Thanks to Derek, who owns a house in Venice, Italy, they meet again.
They haven’t seen each other in three years. A new, tentative friendship is formed between the two.
Stiles takes his time to get to know the guy he used to have a little crush on all those years ago.
With veiled curiosity he starts to discover some of Derek’s preferences. After weeks of living together Stiles is desperate for some affection and of course, sex. In fact, he wants nothing more than to sleep with a certain werewolf. But that's not exactly something he could ask for...When he goes out to find a random date during his birthday night, Stiles gets assaulted.

Summary
Derek exhaled tremulously and tried to stay calm. He called several more times, growing steadily more frantic each time, before allowing the truth to settle in:
Stiles’ phone was off.
“No. No, no, no, please, no,” Derek whispered to himself, barely able to see the screen through his tearful eyes.
What had he done? Had he been so blinded by rage that he dismissed Stiles' call for help?- OR -
Fuming over Scott's betrayal, the Alpha is out of his mind with anger. When he receives a call from Stiles in that incredibly inopportune moment, he does not even let the teen speak - just screams at him, blames him for everything, and hangs up.
But then Erica and Boyd show up, frantically insisting that Stiles is out there somewhere, likely hanging onto life by a thread after being tortured for hours...
Will they be able to find Stiles before it's too late?
