Piper shrugged, "I dunno, maybe Heracles?" She whispered, unsure of herself. Yes, of course Piper had heard of the stories about the great Heracles or Hercules. She wasn't sure why she seemed uncertain. Heracles seemed like the stereotypical demigod, (brave, etc) but, he also had rotten luck, like herself, and the rest of the seven.
Percy pursed his lips. "There was a time when I also admired Heracles." He looked up to the stars. "But then, I met the Huntress." He pointed to a cluster of stars that looked like a teenage girl running across the sky with a bow on slung on her shoulder. The constellation that Piper didn't recognise. "I was there when she returned to the stars."

Shel is eager to read over the police files her Aunt Darryl brought over from the NYPD office.
While flipping through them, she finds a case she finds interesting – something about a missing Manhattan juvenile delinquent who made headlines a couple of years ago for exploding the Gateway Arch – and decides to show it to her girlfriend Piper McLean and Piper's old classmate Leo, who's staying over for a sleepover.
What she doesn't understand is why Leo cracks up completely when she tells them said juvenile delinquent's name.
