   Summary

   (First ever OC story.)

   Mal hated the Eternal City. She hated the streets, the constant fog, and the horrid smell that seemed to linger over every district. But most of all? She hated the so-called Master Thief, Garrett. After the explosion at the Barron's mansion, Garrett disappeared, and things started looking up for the once reputable assassin. Until they didn't.
   Madness began running rampant throughout the city. The nights were darker, the fog was heavier, and she felt eyes on her. Always.
   Mal always believed that she had control of her troubled mind. Now... now it was beginning to control her.
