Summary
Cicero is a professional assassin. He knows how to do his job and he also knows how to find irony both in life and death. When he is given a new contract, however, things start to become difficult. It looks like a simple task: killing a young woman, poor, alone... until Cicero looks at her blind eyes, and sees the Void.
Note: This novel, disguised as a macabre love story with a little mistery to resolve, is meant to be a monography on Cicero's complex psychology. I've always seen him as a really logical man who acts strange, maybe even to make the others underestimate him. But, taking his point of view, I can try to explain how his most crazy behaviors and beliefs are actually reasoned and somehow consistent. I'll do this through a lot of dialogues on the most various topics (religion, fear, pain, sex, love, freindship, death, life... almost everything you could ever think about!). And through a lot of flashbacks I'll try to reconstruct his childhood, his story, integrating what was missing in the game, in order to explain WHY he's like that. Hope you like my effort to be coherent with the original character, and I also hope you will appreciate a co-protagonist so different from him, a blind girl of Whiterun. Enjoy!Series
