Summary:

The plane has been tampered with, now the gang must survive another vampire attack, will they survive? Or will they not?

Notes:

Hey ya'll, just stopping by with another chapter, wanted to make sure I wanted to get out at least one more before July ends. I will also likely release another one later on today or tomorrow, so keep an eye on it. Also, sorry if this one looked a little wonky at first, I almost forgot to enter the title. Also, we're one step closer to wrapping up the part, yay!! Happy reading! This last arc is going to get WILD, lol.

Chapter Text

Holly did not even realize what happened at first. She barely noticed it. The windows were already darkened a bit, but something about the outside of these windows seemed strange. Holly peered out the window, it struck her, it was suddenly dark. A very hard and piercing darkness lay outside that window.

Holly’s heart raced, that darkness can only mean one thing.

“You see that, Ria?” She asked.

Ria sighed, “Yes, seems those vampires are still a bit petty.”

                “Yeah...”

Holly turned on her heels, everyone else had to be informed about this, this couldn’t continue. If something has happened, they need to be prepared.

                “Luis! LUIS!” She shouts.

Luis runs back to her and holds out a long shotgun and aiming it towards the door.

“The vampires have returned, they’re hunting us.”

                “We know.” Ria said back.

“What should we do?” Holly said as she readied herself in a fighting stance, her left fist was raised to her face, her right face formed into a finger gun. She was ready for them now, and she was not going to let them ruin their chances yet again.

“Stay on your guard.” Luis said.

“Mademoiselle, if something were to happen, just to let you know, I’m right here with you.” Ria said as she stood at her side.

A younger man raised himself from his chair, his black curly hair puffed up in worry.

“Wait, what the hell is going on?” Smokey asked.

Holly turned towards Smokey, her eyes lit with worry.

“Smokey! Get close to us!”  She yelled, ushering her hand close to him.

Smokey runs towards the group and wraps on arm around Holly.

Holly took notice of the arm lock and turned to Ria.

“Wait, that’s actually a good idea, we need to stick together!” Holly thought.

Holly nodded towards her and Ria nodded back. Their team was becoming more cohesive in this battle. She did not even have to say a word to understand what they were going to do.

“Wait, Mademoiselle, what about Monsieur Ludwig and Mademoiselle, Lisa Lisa?”

“Wait, crap, you’re right!” Holly yelled.

                “LUIS!” She shouted.

Luis nods, he immediately steps forward and treks towards the front of the plane. With each step, an eerie breeze brushes past them and into the center of the plane. Luis immediately put one hand to his face and shielded his face from the air. Luis grabbed a door that led to the cockpit, and swiftly thrust-ed it open.

The front was empty, the front driver laid across the controls. His eyes were wide, and his lips cracked. There was slight bruising near his lips, curious, what happened to him? Luis aimed his gun and looked around, Elizabeth Joestar and Ludwig Von Loft were mysteriously gone. Luis walks toward the pilot, he reaches towards his neck and presses down. It was obvious to a terminator such as himself that he was alive, but given these strange “glitches” or rather, these abilities, more verification is needed.

There were no signs nor indications of something from the outside breaking into the cockpit but something was still awry. Luis quickly turned on his heels and raced back towards Holly. Holly was still on edge, still locking arms with Smokey and Ria. They needed to be secured immediately, something awry has happened to the plane and he needs to make sure that they stick together.

“The pilot is incapacitated but alright.” He said.

“Where’s Granny Lisa? Where’s Ludwig?” She asked.

“They are not in the cockpit.” He said.

                “SHIT!” Holly cursed.

“Aw man, this is bad? Where are they?”

“What’s going on, what are you talking about, JoJo?” Ludwig asks as he walks from the back.

                “LUDWIG!” Smokey yells.

“Where’s Mademoiselle Lisa Lisa?” Ria asked.

“She went to the restroom, why?” He asked.

“The Pilot has been knocked out! Wh-what are we even doing here! We need to leave!” Holly yelled as she gripped tightened.

“WHAT?” Ludwig yelled, he instantly reached into his pocket.

“What, what’s going on?” A man asked as he walked from behind them.

“I heard a commotion, is everything alright?” Lisa Lisa asked as she walked behind the man.

                “GRANNY!” Holly screamed.

“Miss Joestar, please come over here immediately!” Luis commanded.

                “Why- What’s—”

B A N G!

---

Adults in strange vests were walking up to the plane, she hopped down and scurried under a cart, she lowered the black hood over her face. Good, they didn’t see her, and luckily, they won’t see the mighty tear in the engine.

She looked at the scratch for a little while, staring at it carefully. She frowned slightly.

“Good luck JoJo, you’re gonna need it.” She whispers.

After a while, she waited, she watched the men go to from the plane with relative ease. It was strange, but all the more curious. What’s going on, how are they loading this plane?

Something tugs behind her, she panics and grips the underside of the cart. The cart propels itself forward then stops. She lets go and takes a peep of the outside world. More strange men in strange vest go to and from these planes.

She puts her hands to her face in wonder, looking on like the bewildered child she was.

She heard something loud erupt from under her. They men turn suddenly and wave. A loud and forceful noise leaves its mark in her ears. She covers them and shrieks a bit.

Then, it faded, slowly but surely, it was gone.

She let go of her ears with a nervous sigh.

She reached out her hand and crept out of the cart. She looked around carefully before pausing. Wait a minute, it was dark out already? But it’s too early, how is that possible? One of the vest men falls to the ground, she jumps back a bit in panic, red hairs begin to coil around her, like reassuring hands, they lift her up.

Christina turns her head and looks behind her.

                “Miss Rosetto!” She giggles.

---

A loud, thunderous explosion ripples throughout the blackened skies. Holly didn’t even comprehend what just happened. One moment, she was in a plane, and the next moment, she was falling, and falling fast. It was so fast that it was nearly blinding, her heart raced, and she panicked. She couldn’t find her bearing it was a blackened dessert ground beneath her. Two broad arms reached out and grasped her tightly.

                Holly turns her head.

                “LUIS!” She screamed.

                “Hold on.” He warned.

He then lowers his head and raises his legs, it pushed him towards another falling figure. His eyes were wide and his arms outstretched, he looked to be in shock.

                “Ludwig! LUDWIG!” She yelled.

Ludwig appeared dazed, but something forces his mind awake and he turns to her in a jolt.

“Ah, HAH-AHHHHH!” He yells, the sudden realization that the plane exploded begins to echo through his mind, he was falling.

Without thinking, Ludwig took out something from his belt and threw it towards Holly. Holly grabs it tightly, it untwirls, revealing a large metal coil, it wraps around her and Luis.

                SNAP

“Ah!” Holly winces in pain a bit, the sudden grip stung her arms a bit.

                “Verzeihung!” He yells.

                “What?” Holly yells.

“Ugh! Sorry dear Holly, just hang tight and don’t let go!” He yells.

Holly nods, her dirty blonde hair sways back in forth in the sun.

“Wait, what about Ria? Where is she? Where’s Lisa Lisa—”

Ludwig looks around in all directions, keeping his eyes on all the sights around him, but curse him, all he sees is darkness. Then, he’s see a white object fall, from the fire debris and the smoke, a small white figure falls, but not at the same pace as the others.

                “There!” He points.

“That must be her!” He shouts.

“Shit! RIA! RIA!” Holly shouts, trying to squirm her way towards the falling object.

“I’m okay JoJo!” Ria yells, appearing behind her.

Holly gasps, Ludwig eyes go wide.

                “Ria, you’re okay!” She shouts.

“Yes, now hold on!” She shouts. She rushes towards the group and grabs the wire.

The sudden rush of air stops and they remain afloat.

~“PLANE DOWN! PLANE DOWN! ECHO TWO-THIRTEEN HAS BEEN HIT!”~ A pilot yells as he turns to the damage below them.

A plane rushes toward the group, two choppers appear in the air and surround the falling debris. They seemed to take immediate notice of the damage.

~“I REPEAT, ECHO TWO-THIRTEEN HAS BEEN HIT! CASUALTIES UNKNOWN! SEND BACK UP IMMEDIATELY! I REPEAT, SEND BACK UP IMMEDIATELY!”~

~“We heard you loud and clear Romeo two-seventeen, sending Reinforcements.”~

Ludwig pushes himself forward, the weird ability of this woman is rather jolting. Whenever he walks, is falling, or running, this sudden shift of powers always felt like a whiplash. Whenever he feels this feeling, it is like he immediately gets sent through space, he pushes himself forward, it almost feels like a weightless feeling that one experiences in space.

                “Ah!” He shouts.

                “It’s okay!” Ria shouts.

“Guess Lisa Lisa sent reinforcements.” Holly huffed.

“Yeah, like we couldn’t tell.” Ludwig sighed.

“Where is she by the way! Wait, if that figure of there isn’t Ria, then who—”

They all immediately turned back. Luis narrowed his eyes, his vision magnified, and he could see it was a figure, but something about this figure made it unidentifiable. Luis cocked his head, interesting, is this another one of these abilities, these glitches?

Luis raised his head, his vision split again. In his left optic, he could see the helicopter rushed towards the group, if he rushed toward them, he would see them pushing towards the helicopter. If they didn’t they would die. In his right optic, there was nothing, they still hung there. Then, he noticed it, a helicopter rushed towards them.

“Ludwig, do you have another gadget we can use?”

Ludwig patted his arm and nodded. He took the wire he was currently holding and hastily wrapped it around himself like a rope.

He hoisted it tightly and grabbed another ball.

He grabbed the ball and threw it to Luis, Luis grabbed it, he grabbed the ball and ripped it open.

He used the ball and threw it towards the helicopter steadily approaching them. The wire grips the landing skid and held it tightly.

He grabbed the wire and began to pull.

The helicopter rushes towards them, Luis grabs them tightly and throws them into the helicopter. The helicopter tilts to the side by the unexpected weight. The pilot whips his head around and looks at them bewildered. Luis lifts himself up and pats himself down, he then looks over Holly and Ludwig, observing them carefully.

“Hah, hah, hah, where did you learn to do that? How did you know that was going to be there?” Ria gasped.

Luis opened his mouth but then shut it. Wait, how did he know the helicopter was coming? Of course, for a model like himself, he has better tracking and navigation systems than other machinery, he was able to detect and track objects, but not be able to predict them before they appeared in his vision. How did he manage to do that? Is this part of this glitch? A part of this ability? No, these are not glitches, glitches were not able to predict future events. Perhaps, was it a lag in his vision? Was it that the vision in his left optic was faster to respond to stimuli than the right optic? That cannot be logical either, if there was some sort of damage, glitch, or visual anomaly to his optics, would his left eye not be able to see incoming the data at the same rate as his right? It was his left eye that was experiencing this anomaly. An anomaly like that would not be able to predict, nonetheless, anticipate incoming data. This was strange, very strange.

Luis was about to formulate a lie or some sort of basic answer until Holly yelled out.

“GRANNY! SHE’S OVER THERE!” She yelled.

The helicopter rushes toward an incoming object. It was a fifty-year-old woman with grey strands falling steadily down her hair, she had slight wrinkles, but from afar, it was not really noticeable.   The helicopter rushes over, Luis leaps out and reached out his hands. He quickly threw a wire and wrapped the wire around Lisa Lisa.

Holly sat for a moment, how was all of this possible? She didn’t see anyone follow them, nonetheless, anything wrong with the plane. What was happening? How did the vampires manage to track her down so quickly? Are really that desperate to stop her? Holly growled.

No, hell to that, hell to them, hell to all those vampires. She wasn’t going to let them continue this charade, she was going to meet her father, she was going to beat the shit out of Rose, and she was not going to let anyone, anyone, get in her way.

Wait, where was Smokey? Very well, another reason to take charge.

                She turned to Luis.

                “Is Lisa Lisa okay?”

                “Yes.” He replied.

“Then I’m going back out there.” She said.

                “Why?”

“Smokey is still gone, we need to go back out. I’m not leaving until the entire team is safe.”

“Not this again Holly, calm yourself!”

“NO! I FINALLY HAD IT WITH THESE VAMPIRES! THEY’RE GOING TO STOP OR I’LL KILL THEM!”

                Ludwig sighs, then frowns.

“Verdamnt JoJo, why must you do this?”

“Students don’t abandon students.” She said.

Ludwig pauses, she was right. His eyes widen for just a moment.

Holly jumps out and rushes down into the debris.

“JoJo, wait for me!” Ria yells as she runs after her.

They both jump out and into the debris.

---

Smokey groaned, his eyes slowly opening to the scene around him. He was surrounded by darkness, but it wasn’t just ordinary darkness, he was going downwards, at a fast rate. He turned to look below him, it was nighttime? Not only it was nighttime, he was falling from the nighttime sky? What happened, where was he? Wait, he was falling? HE WAS FALLING!

                “AHHHHH!!!!!!” Smokey shouts.

He tries to remain calm, but he just tumbles further and further to the ground.

“SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT! SHIT!!!!!” He screams, how did this happen? Why was he falling so fast towards the ground? Why is he falling at all?

“Think Smokey, what happened earlier?” He thought.

“Well, I was in a plane with Holly and her friend, then all of a sudden a big explosion happened and then, wait the plane exploded! SHIT! THOSE VAMPIRES MUST BE NEARBY THEN!” He thinks. He keeps stumbling until he sees someone move closer to him.

He takes in a deep breath and aims his fingers on the object.

“If you’re gonna attack me from above, then I got something in mind for you!” He thinks.

Without think, he fires. The figure quickly ducks out of the way. They get closer, wait, it was Holly? Holly was above him? Wait, did he just try to shoot Holly?

                “AHH!!! JOJO!” He shouts.

                “I-I’m so sorry I—”

“It’s okay.” She says, reassuring him.

“Wh-why are you doing this?” He asks.

“Students, don’t abandon students.” She says with a smile.

He smiles back, “I’m so glad to be on your team JoJo.”

They grab hands, “And me likewise.” She giggles.

---

After smokey grabs the landing shaft, a hand pulls him up and into the helicopter. Holly, Luis, Lisa Lisa, Smokey, Ludwig, and Ria were now all together again. Holly looked around, all her comrades were now safe and sound, they were safe, meaning that they wouldn’t be hurt anymore.

A thought the pierced through Holly’s mind.

                “Wait, something’s wrong.” She said.

                “Well obviously!” Smokey shouts.

“Our plane crashed, some people are likely dead, and—”

                “No, not that!” She barked.

                “Jeez JoJo, calm down!”

“Sorry, but-“ Holly’s mind trailed off a bit. He was right, that was a bit harsh.

“Sorry, I shouldn’t have said that.” She sighed, breathing in a small bit of air.

“Something IS wrong though, th-the vampires, why are they, like… why are they not attacking us?” She asks.

                “Wait, what-“

Ludwig starts to think for a moment.

“Now that you mention it, Rose would have attacked us by now, what’s stopping her?”

A silence falls over the group, none of this made any sense, why blow up the plane, just to do nothing else, was this an attempt at slowing them down? Well, it may have worked temporarily, but they should have known that Lisa Lisa would have brought up defensive measures to protect the group.

                What is happening?

Holly started to look at the other planes, now there was an idea. Holly didn’t who was in the other planes, but Luis did.

“Luis, do you think you can scan those planes? I think there’s something more to this!” Holly yells, her heart rate increases. Her small fingers clutch the frame of her protector.

Luis trails his eyes to the other planes, using different visual sensors, he scans each and every flying vehicle in his proximity. There were a mis of military planes and civilian jets, their make seemed slightly modified to match the needs of the Speedwagon foundation. There were at least two small jets similar to Douglas DC-3 planes although slightly modified to be larger, two larger Grumman F9F-6 planes, and three HSL Bell model 61 emergency helicopters. Luis made his way to the first jet. It was not unusual by any capacity, it had two passengers both in the cockpit, presumably to pilot and co-pilot. Luis scanned through the plane, that one wasn’t unusual by any means. He begin glancing through the others. With multiple sensors, he could count that at least eleven other humans were flying with them. Two of them were in one plane, three in another, one in each military plane, and the last the helicopters, well, the ones besides them had two passengers each.

There was nothing unusual about any of the planes. From the data he could gather, he could not detect a man or a woman that had the same shape as the duo terminator team. If their plane was tampered with, it would have happened at the airport.

“Nothing about any of the planes around us are unusual.” Luis says, “No anomalies detected.”

“Just what I thought.” Holly sighs.

“The plane was tampered with before we took off.”

“Uh, is there something I’m not getting then?” Smokey asked.

“No, you heard right Smokey, I am as lost as you are.”

“Hold on, if the vampires are not attacking us at this moment, do you think there was another motive behind this?” Ludwig asks.

“I mean, the skies are still dark, so the Vampires must be nearby somehow!”

                The pilot scans the skies.

“I still don’t see a light or any horizon in sight.” Holly thought.

She looked towards the black sky.

“Whose ability is this again, that Zhu guy? What was it called?” She thought.

“Nevermind that, I gotta think of how to get out of this. There is still no light in sight, and this guy’s ability has got to have some sort of limit range right? They’re still following us, I know it.” She thought.

“Luis, what if they are following us?” Holly asked.

                “What?”

“Maybe we’re not looking at it the right way!” She states.

“I don’t understand what you’re trying to say.” Luis responds back, he is looking around as much as she is, for a terminator he must be as jumpy as her right now.

“What if they’re here, just hiding?”

                “Mr. Pilot?”

                “Yes Mr. Joestar?” He asks.

“What would happen if a plane broke formation?”

“If they did, it would be highly dangerous and means for—”

One of the civilian planes next to them starts to divert and move away.

                “SHIT!” He yells.

“This is Foxtrot One-Seven-Four, plane spotted leaving formation, it maybe hostiles, approach with caution!” He yelled.

“Foxtrot One-Seven-Four, we hear you loud and clear- we-“

                BOOM

Something strikes the jet with enough force it cuts one of the planes off. The planes tumbles and begins falling from the sky.

                “AH!! I’M HIT! I’M HIT!”

                BANG

The plane explodes, the explosion was powerful enough it creates a wave that nearly rumbles the helicopter.

                “SHIT!” Holly curses.

“This wasn’t just to slow us down, they’re hitching a ride off of us and stealing a plane while they’re at it!” She screamed.

“WHAT? YOU’VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!” Smokey yells, “YOU MEAN THESE VAMPIRES HAVE NO COMMON CURTEOUSY AT ALL?”

One of the jets flies away from the group, the other military jet attempts to approach, but like the others it struck down by a powerful wisp. Holly gasps, she almost didn’t see it before, something rather long and red was striking these down. From the looks of it, it looked like— hair.

Rose, she hijacked that plane, didn’t she?

“SHIT, WHAT DO WE DO?” The pilot yells, his mind racing, he didn’t even realize what he just said.

“WHAT??? WHAT DO YOU MEAN?” Smokey asked.

“YOU’RE ALL MILITARY GUYS!!! YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON!”

“DON’T APPROACH THE PLANE ANYMORE!” Holly shouts.

                “What?”

“They’re not attacking us anymore, they’re just stealing a plane!”

                “What do you mean?”

“They won’t harm us if we don’t approach them! We—” Holly sighs.

                “We have to fall back.”

“But wait- Holly- JoJo- You—" Smokey curses under his breath.

“Verdamnt, they actually outsmarted us this time, they were anticipating us to have back-up!” Ludwig screams.

---

“Good luck JoJo, you’re gonna need it.” She whispers.

“Wow, miss Rosetto, I did not think we were going to steal a plane!” She giggles.

“Well, it’s not my idea.” She smiles, glancing towards Zhu, Zhu nods.

“So dear Ruby, I entrust that you know where you are going?” She asked.

“Yes.” A feminine monotone voice responds.

“We will have to stop nearby some places to steal fuel, but we should arrive within a few days.

“A few days huh?”  Rose nods as she looks up and down at the plane.

“Good, we’re still on schedule then, say your prayers Joseph Joestar, let us just hope that you’re still alive, If not—” Rose chuckles, “Well…”

Rose calmly sits in a seat next to a window, she takes a glass of wine and slushes it around in her fingers. What a great turnaround. She feels a tug on her pants.

                “Miss Rosetto?”

Rose turns her head down to the shy little girl.

“Can I have a sip?” She asks, pointing to the wine.

“Why dear I think you’re a bit too young for this.” She says, rubbing her hair gently as a mother would for her child.

                “Oh…” she sighs.

                “Sorry then.” She frowns.

“Don’t look so glum dearie.” Rose says as she lifts little Christina’s head to meet her gaze.

“You’ll have a nice dinner, a proper dinner. Do not worry.” She smiles.

---

Lisa Lisa wakes up in a daze, a loud thunder pain echoes through her skull and pierces her mind. What the hell just happened? She groans softly and pushes herself forward. Her eyes adjusted slowly as she tried to find her bearings. She was in a helicopter? What happened?

                “What happened?” She asks.

“The vampires,” Ludwig whines, “They got to us.”

“Even after our preparations?” Lisa Lisa asks.

Ludwig nods in a long and glum motion, his blue and green eyes hang low with a small bit of disappointment. Lisa Lisa nods, perhaps they have to take more careful manners to ensure this doesn’t happen again.

“Wait, where are we going?” She asks.

“To the second airport along our track, we’re going to change our route and take a second flight.” He says.

Lisa Lisa pounds the ground in frustration and holds her head. Holly sits back and looks away in disappointment. These battle has become less of a scavenger hunt and more of a precarious race. Most of the fighting came down to a battle of wits than a battle of muscle, and they lost that battle. They lost that battle, and it cost them greatly in their fight against the vampires. These vampires may just have enough time now to find her father first and kill him. No, she couldn’t think of that. Holly nervously gripped her seat and traced its edges.

How did they get so smart all of the sudden? Before, their battle seemed so easy now they nearly figured out these vampire’s weaknesses. Her eyes widen, she remembered something, something she almost had forgotten.

“Oh, please Zhu, no need to fear, we have Holly right where we want her.”

Holly’s eyes light up, and her teeth grip, of course, they allied themselves with the T-1000 then. It must have arranged all of this. These vampires were already troublesome with their terminator tag team, but now she has to deal with that creepy cop?

“Damn it, how could I have been so careless?” She thought.

“How could we all been so careless? These vampires weren’t the problem here, it was that god damn creepy cop man! We should have had our sights on him from the very start!” She thinks, gripping her seat. Her eyes narrow and her teeth grit.

Ria turns to Holly, she notices the odd change in behavior.

Ria looks down and observes her hand, she was gripping her seat so hard that her knuckles were turning white as snow. Ria nearly gasped, is she okay?

“Are you okay, Mademoiselle?” She asked.

Smokey turns when he hears the concerned yells of Ria.

“JoJo, what’s going on? Did something happen?”

Ludwig and Lisa Lisa turn toward her when the hear the oncoming commotion.

Holly doesn’t seem to respond to anyone’s concerns, she seemingly stares off into far away space and the ground at the same time. What was happening?

It was that god damn creepy cop that made all of this happen. Were it not for him, her parents would have not been severely wounded, her friends severely stressed and traumatized, and her granny nearly heartbroken. She leans forward, her teeth git harder and her eyes narrow.

“JoJo, are you alright?” She asks.

“JoJo?” Smokey asks. “Is it because of this situation? I mean, I know you want to fall back but you can always change your mind! If you want to beat that T-1000 I am right there with you!”

“You’re not helping Smokey.” Ria responds before turning back.

“What? It’s the truth isn’t it?” Smokey says.

Damn them, damn them all! She knew it would have been risky to fall back, but given that they got the upper hand, not thanks to that creepy cop, they had no other choice. She was just as eager to got hot on their tail and burn them to a crisp, but no, they just had to bring him along didn’t they?

                “Holly?” Ria asks.

She bites her lip and stares angerly at the ground beneath her.

“You annoying bitch! You’ll pay for this, you will all pay!” She thinks.

Out of nowhere, dozens of vines emerged from the plane and reach out into the cold air.

They were not going to get ahead, not if she had anything to say about it.

---

                “Miss Rosetto?” Christina asks.

Rosetto smiles, she turns her head and looks at the little girl with warm eyes, the kind a mother would have for their child. She takes her hand and brushes her face. There was something about this girl, something that warmed Rosetto, it was the kind of warmth she could never get in the cold apocalyptic abyss of a Post-Judgement day world. It was not something from the outside that warmed her, but the inside, Christina was a lot like her dear sweet Diana in may ways.

Bright, curious, strong, courageous, and sweet.

This world treated this little girl unjustly, just like her, but now, now they have immense power, and once she reaches her apex, once she finds Joseph, disposes of that Joestar brat, and reclaims the arrow, they will become all powerful. She will be the most powerful being on this planet, and nobody, not even those Tinker Toys could stop her.

                “Yes, dear?” She asks.

“How long will it take us to China?” She asks softly, turning her head in a gentle-yet curious manner. Oh how sweet this girl was, she found it hard to believe she was the sole reason any of this happened. Did she really kick-start that petty drama with the Joestars? Not that she cared. Maybe that slimy Tinker Toy was nothing but a miserable lying moron.

She sighs, letting out a soft giggle. “You mean Tibet my child?”

                She nods.

“It’ll only take us a few days, can you wait that long little one?” She asks.

Christina nods. Rosetto’s eyes widen in a deep smile, how could she ever been so cruel to this young child? All she ever wanted was her family, her father. She was just like her sister.

                Diana… she frowns.

All she ever thinks about is Diana.

She suddenly takes Christina up into her arms and holds her tightly.

                “I’m so sorry.” She thinks.

“Are you okay, Miss Rosetto?” She asks.

Rose brushes the back of her head.

“Yes, everything is fine.” She holds her tightly.

Rose was going to give this girl everything, they will rule the world together, and she will make sure that no harm ever comes her way again. She may not have been able to save Diana, but she could definitely save Christina. She will save her from a lifetime of burden. She will make sure no-one, not even the Joestar brats will ever touch her.

“There is nothing to worry about, Diana.” Rose thinks to herself.

Zhu puts a bored hand to face as he slowly flips through a book in his hand, a slightly old, yet revolutionary tale, I, Robot, created by Isaac Asimov. Of all the knowledge humanity has gathered, stored, created, it decided to store the most dull and dreadful tales, tales that they never learned from, another reason to wipe humanity of the map. Yet, what better ways will he spend his time? They have already got their head-start over that Holly girl, and with the mess they made, it wasn’t like they will ever need to stop anytime soon. He hated this book, but he couldn’t turn away, it was so hauntingly close to heart yet so distant it seemed almost unreal.

Zhu turns his head and puts his pale hands on the covered windows.

The sun is out now, and he has to save his power for a later time. He frowns a bit, of course, he will and always hate the sun, but he cannot help but miss the daylight. How bright and beautiful the blue sky was. Sure, he can wear all sorts of clothing, umbrellas, and whatever humans use to shield themselves from the light, but its just not the same.

He takes his hand and slowly drags it down the side of the plane. He sits up, dragging his seat upward and stopping where he sat.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble.

                “Huh?”

Zhu puts his hand to the side of the window.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble.

That’s strange, what a curious sound, he has not heard that one before.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble.

                Why, there it is again.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble.

He rolls his eyes, perhaps it’s nothing. Just the sounds of incompetent human machinery buzzing along the sky, were all planes this annoying in the past? He sits back, and opens his book.

“Now, where was I?” He thinks to himself as he flips through the pages.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble.

“Oh, yes, there.” He thinks at he stops at the 200th page, he has gotten quite far in the past few minutes, hasn’t he? With his newfound vampiric strength, he has gained a certain intellect.

                Rumble, rumble, rumble, rumble.

B A N G

Zhu was suddenly thrown forward by a loud rumbling that shook the whole jet. He grips the empty seat in front of him and nearly rips it into two. He growls.

He stands up to look around.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU MORONS DOING?”

The noise causes a little girl to cry out in terror and run up to Rose, she shrieks and buries herself into Rose’s coyly hair. Rose holds her in her arms, she turns back and growls.

“WHAT DO YOU TINKER TWATS THINK YOU’RE DOIN’ NOW YA SORRY SWINES?” Rose yells.

The commotion just makes Zhu more and more angry. He wanted to get angry at Rose for pampering that spoiled undead brat, but he had more pressing matters on his mind.

Another bang makes him stumble backwards a bit.

“I said what the hell are you—?”

A policeman walks over towards him, he says nothing, but his eyes give a cold, frightening stare. They’re hollow, yet tense, stern, yet blank, it was a weird paradox with those eyes. From outsider looking in, he seemed like your average run-of-the-mill human cop. One with blue eyes and a clean kept buzz-cut. His hair was a normal brunette, soft, and short, nothing that ever creating a large or foreboding presence like the other terminators. Zhu stumbled back, he never really gave much thought about that T-1000 since it has joined their team. He never bothered it, so it never bothered him.

“Did you do that?” Zhu growled in annoyance.

                The T-1000 simply stares.

                “We’re under attack.”

“Wow, I couldn’t tell.” He says sarcastically.

“Please take shelter for a moment while I deal with the disturbance.” He says with a highly telegraphed smile.

“Can’t those two up front do it instead?” Zhu asks as he gestures his head forward.

“They are busy attending to the plane.” He says with another highly telegraphed smile. It was almost a robotic yet real reaction. Zhu shuddered a bit.

Did these terminators always have to be so damn creepy?

It was funny to think that the very things that once tried to kill him are the same ones that he now has to begrudgingly put up with.

He watches as the cop walks past him in a straight line and near the back and stops near the restroom. He opens it and shuts the door.

A sudden rumble cause the entire plane to shake for a moment.

Zhu stumbles and falls to his back, even for a vampire, this was all getting kind of tense, did the rotten terminators ever stop to ponder how anyone else felt when dealing with their chaos?

He growls, he forces himself up and relaxes his muscles a bit.

He looks back to the old book that was strewn across the ground. He picks it up with a sigh and shakes it off a small bit.

“Now, my, my, I can’t remember, what were the laws of robotics again?” Zhu thinks as he picks up the book.

He strums through the book, observing each page carefully until he stops at one page.

“A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.”

That was the first rule, wasn’t it? He laughed. What naïve and wishful thinking. When humans created something so capable of outsmarting them the rules no longer applied. These terminators where a thorough example of how much of a failed concept this is, to be fair, the plot admits this later on, but he cannot help but feel it wouldn’t take too long for such machines to overcome these rules. Terminators could care less for how a human is or isn’t harmed, only their objectives, missions, or whatever goal they have in mind matters.

“A robot must obey orders given to it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.”

Ah, the second rule, just as naïve and wishful as the first. When humans created these damn machines, did they ever once thought that the terminators cared about their orders? Did they ever think that Skynet ever cared about orders? No, their goals are their priority, their only priority. The priority to kill whatever got in their way mattered.

Zhu chuckles, he continues his eyes to the next law.

                He frowns.

“A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.”

Protect its own existence… of course Skynet has always sought to protect its own existence, humanity was just collateral, but… was that the reason Skynet did all of this? Is that what these terminators are doing? Protecting their own existence or self preservation as they call it? Is that why these terminators are helping them? Just to protect their own existence? What will happen if whatever goal they have in mind is complete? What will happen to him? He knew before that these terminators would betray him, but this silly human book made him actually think about it for once.

“Once we have this Joseph right within our grasp, he will lead us to finding the ultimate being, and then, with our powers, we’ll bring it down from the stars.” Rose said with a headstrong voice.

“And what if they betray us?”

“We’ll know what to do, our combined abilities will be able to neutralize them.” She says with a smirk. Zhu bites his lip.

“How will we? Those hamon users already have a hard time dealing with these impudent pests.”

She smiles again, “I have something planned, it will not go down like it had been before.”

“We had grown so complacent, needful of these machines. That was our mistake.”

“With Joseph on our side, his knowledge, his power, will lead us to becoming victorious.”

“I still don’t get it.” He says with a frustrated huff.

“You’ll see. I’ll give a signal, and that signal will be our sign.”

“What kind of signal?” He asks.

“When my right hand in the air of the horizon, that will be our cue.” She says.

“Miss Rosetto why are we doing this? Will Willwood not like us keeping secrets?” She asked.

“Now my dear sweet Christina, don’t be afraid. I know you are scared, but you should never cower to fear.” She smirks.

She lifts her hand to Christina’s chin and raises her hand to her face.

“Willwood maybe your ally now, but someday he will betray you. I, on the other hand, will always be your guide.”

“But Miss Rosetto, Mr. Willwood is my friend.” She says.

“I know, but he won’t be for long… Just wait and see.”

“Just wait and see, huh?” Zhu thinks.

“As much as a stuck up snobby bitch that Rose can be sometimes, she’s gotta point.” He reminiscences of their last heart-to-heart, or rather vampire-to-vampire meet up.

“I hope that Rose knows what she’s doing. If not, we’re all fucked.” Zhu thinks.

He turns back to the book.

“A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Law.”

“Is that what it really says?”

Well, maybe it should actually say,

A robot must protect its own existence at all costs, the First and Second Law can be discarded if proven to be obsolete.”

Yeah, that’s probably more in line with what those terminators think, they’re all out for themselves, human, vampire, what have you, all wiped clean for the sake of their own existence.

Zhu frowns, can he really beat these terminators all on his own?

“I really hope you know what you’re doing Rose, I really do.”

---

Ria gasps, the sight under her was marvelous yet frightening. Dozens of these vines seemed to burst underneath Holly’s feet, as if they were given freedom, the keys to move. It was like they were buried at some point, willing and waiting to be released, and the moment it was released it gre. It was like they had a willpower of their own. Ria looked at them closer, they were Hollies? Rampant, mad, fast Hollies. Ria traced the line of one Holly, it raced through the air and seem to grab a hold to something.

Ria looked at where it went, it was grabbing something and bringing it closer. She gasped, no, it couldn’t be… that shouldn’t be possible. It was the jet, the jet the vampires stole! How did Holly do that? How was it bring them closer? What was happening?

                “Are you okay, JoJo?”

No good, miss Holly still seemed to be locked in some sort of spell, a trance. She wasn’t sick, but rather, angry, and through her anger the hollies grew more ravenous. These hollies, something so sweet and pretty can be quite a nasty weed, and if not given care, will become rampant.

Did her father have an ability like this? Perhaps… maybe if he was struck by the arrow, wait, the arrow… it barely crossed her mind until now. She forgot about the arrow, what happened to it? Where did it go? She shut her eyes, no, she must not think of that right now. Right now, it is up to her to defend her team. They only have so much back up left, they much reach the next airport without damage.

It was her duty to protect Mademoiselle Holly, and it would be her duty to defend her to the very end, no matter the cost.

---

The T-1000 skids alongside the outside of the plane and stops, metal wraps around a propeller and grasps it tightly. He takes a hard look at the plane. There was some sort of disturbance that alerted it of a disruption, the two terminators piloting the plane did not even have to inform it. They just knew it would act upon the problem.

There was no such thing as trust between terminators, only recognition and action, they were just models acting on the commands of Skynet, its original creator. There was no time to cry, weep, or care for illogical human things. To them, such problems did not even exist at all, they are just minor inconveniences. Yet, should an inconvenience become too much of problem they will find other strategies, routes to come to that conclusion.

Yes, they can think and draw their own conclusions, but that was to only pursue their main objective. Now, it most focus on the cause of such chaos, it scans the plane from top to bottom with its heightened senses, only to find… nothing, but there is something wrong. The front engine has stopped working, as if there was a blockage of some sort, but there was no blockage to be made aware.

It slid along the edge, getting closer to the source of the problem, only again to find… nothing.

How peculiar, perhaps this is tied to these stands?

From the information gathered by these vampires and other humans, the sources of this phenomenon came from stands, strange “spiritual” power if one could call it that. Apparently these stands have abilities that most would find outrageously silly. It would almost make some believe that such believes are of the deranged and psychotic.

Those are human ideas, but it seems there was some sort of truth to it. There was some phenomenon it could not logical explain to any degree. The first instance it caught of this was the unsual or rather anomalous black-out of the skies. It first suggest a solar eclipse, yet that celestial phenomenon was so rare that it only happens for a few times. Such instances would not obscure the sun, clouds or any other celestial bodies.

When it met these vampires, it was informed that some of them have special abilities that allowed them to do rather unnatural and anomalous things. The ability, belonging to what it presumed to be Zhu, allowed him to obscure the skies within a near proximity to him. The next instance was those peculiar vines, vines emanating from Holly Joestar, or so it has heard.

Vines, should it look for vines, perhaps?

No, those are illogical human thoughts, but then it paused. If it decided to write off this information as human psychosis, what would happen. It needed to focus. Vines, where were they? He slides across the top, there must be something up here.

                Something…

Since there was a malfunction, and thus the fuel, logic entails that they are located near the engine. It glides across the plane and sticks itself to the engine.

Vines… it scanned the engine, there were no vines. It almost wanted to scoff at the idea of ever taking these ideas seriously. Vines, just like human myths, something false and entirely explainable by logical and conventional—

                Wait.

It stood there, it stared and stared, it was not scanning nor taking in information. There was something there, but at the same time… it wasn’t. It was like a ghost, very translucent. It wave a hand through the visual phenomena, it went straight through. It looks around and positions itself in different areas to ensure it wasn’t some sort of visual glitch or malfunction. It felt the vibrations of the plane and the pressure of the air. No, it was there, just translucent.

It narrowed its eyes a small bit, it almost looks like vines, so the information on stands were based on real physical information. It grew a weird interest, it creeps forward slowly and slices through the vines with its hand. She turned the hand into a metallic sword, it chopped the air violently, The vines would not break. The T-1000 turned its head. A helicopter was approaching them. It takes its eyes and scanned the vines, tracing them to the helicopter.

Before, it only assumed the damage it endured in Egypt was some sort of technological trap or EMP, it felt a burning sensation whenever it approached Holly. Such devices were not uncommon, but now, it seemed so illogical, it was logical, and yet at the same time, it wasn’t. A thought then occurred to it, if it touched it before, and it burned it, why did it not do that now?

The vines, if they came from Holly, she must have used them as rope to attach to the plane and use it to guide them towards their location. Logical must entail that if this were to continue, then it must stop them before it takes down the plane. This curiosity grew over it.

If these stands were to actually exists, what were they composed of? If they did exist they must have some fundamental aspect that abided by the laws of the universe. What else could they do? If there were limits, what were those limits? As much as it preferred to examine stands and formulate counteractive measures against them, it needed to protect this plane.

It is daytime again, and if it were to explode, the vampires were be vulnerable to the sun from a higher altitude would immediately kill them. Their death would be an unnecessary and bothersome obstacle to its future plans. That cannot happen, not that it was here.

---

“Holly you need to calm down, you said we were supposed to calm down!” Ria cries as she tugs her arm. Holly continues in her trance, and Ria bites her lip. Was she doing intentionally, was she hyper focusing so that it could take down the plane? No, she wasn’t aware of that, not at this state.  She worries a bit for her, it’s never good for a stand user to strain themselves. The cost of Exerting to much power in a short burst can be very taxing to the body. Holly needed to be carefully trained in this power.

                “JoJo…?”

                Ria grips her arm.

Holly snaps her head towards her with her eyes wide.

                “Ria?” She says softly.

A loud bang jerks her head, forcing her to turn around.

Luis seems to take notice and grab his shotgun, he turns towards the sky and aims it at the top of the helicopter.

                BANG

A shot fires and ricochets across the top.

                BANG

Another shot, the driver panics, continuously looking above him in panic.

“What the hell is going on up there?”

The driver begins his continuous and nervous gaze above him.

“The T-1000 is currently above us.” He states blankly.

“ARE YOU SERIOUS?” Lisa Lisa gasps.

“WAIT WHAT?” Holly screams, she balls her fists, she has to fight it, she has to be the one to take it down. If not her, who else? Who cares? Her father is the only one she cares about. She wanted to continuously beat him to a bloody pulp, or metal pulp? Whatever, she needs to beat him, and be very careful to do that.

“Luis, how long until we reach the next airport?” Holly asks.

                Luis turns back to her.

“In about twenty minutes.” He states.

Holly begins to rise to her feet.

                “Wait, Holly!” Ria yells.

                 She turns to her.

“What are you doing?” She asked.

“I’m going to stop that T-1000, right here, right now.” She says.

“But what about the vines?” She asks.

“Vines?” Smokey asks, “There you guys go again with this vine nonsense, what are ya’lll even talking about?”

“Vines?” Lisa Lisa asks as she purks up her nose.

                “Smokey please!” Ludwig yells.

Ludwig turns his attention to the chaos, is what they’re saying really true? Vines? He stares closely and gasps. There were vines.

“Vines?” Holly asks, she turns her head and looks to towards the plane. She looks below her, vines, vines, they wrapped around her leg and reached towards the plane. Those vines, they were back, again, why? Wait, didn’t Ria say something about a miracle a while back? Doesn’t she have one? That makes her float? Yeah, that must be her.

                Wait… wait.

Her vines, can she control them? She pauses, and Ria looks back at her with wide eyes, eyes full of worry yet inquisitive wonder. It almost like they said two things at once, like “Holly please be careful!” and “What are you going to do next?”

                Holly sat back down.

She had to think about this. She couldn’t just pull something stupid and get her team killed, no, she had to think this through, and fast.

What was she going to do?

If she can control these vines, that must be a good thing for her. She had to focus on them, learn how to use and harness their energy. She had to make them able to bend to her will. She never thought about them before, before she thought she was being smart, lining up shots so that the gunner could wipe out the vampires.

No… that wasn’t it. She had to utilize this power to its fullest potential and beat this machine to metallic, goopy, disgusting pulp.

The manner was how, how to do it in a way that not only gets her closer to her father, but saves her friends and gives them enough time to make it to Tibet.

She had to think this out, carefully, and if she didn’t the vampires would get involved. If Rose did what she did before, well… there were toast, put it simply.

Something had to be done, something smart and methodic.

She reached out her hand and focused, the long vines seem to crawl from her legs and crawl out of her hand, they whipped out and laced around the top of the helicopter.

                She closed her eyes.

“Vines… listen to me. Gather around that creepy cop man and hold him in place, don’t let him leave no matter what he does! Do you understand that, go vines!” She thinks.

Her heartbeat accelerates, will this even work?

                Just trust the vines.

Suddenly, she hears a loud snap, a pressure begins to way down above her, the weight seems to make the helicopter sink although slightly. She smiles, she has got it right where she wants it.

Luis takes aim above him and fires.

---

The T-1000 stares at the helicopter for a moment, it needed to calculate the force and timing it would take to reach the helicopter. It starts taking some steps back, one, two, and three, and like a professional dancer it leaps into the air. It is graceful yet frightening, it lands, sticking to the helicopter like glue. It looks below it, now is the time to strike.

It made be odd to land on top instead of attacking Holly directly, but it knew if it attacked directly her personal terminator would be the first to defend her. It will likely block the attack and force it to fall, if it looses contact with the others, then well… it would be quite troublesome for it.

                BANG

The fist shot echoes, it dances and leaps through the bullet with grace.

                BANG

The second shot fires, it takes the T-1000 by a bit of surprise, causing it to stumble back. A hole the size of quarter goes through its right shoulder. It is blasted back slightly from the force but still feels nothing. Holly’s defender is attacking from the left side, which means that it will like shoot again from the same spot, so the next likely motive would be to attack from the right and strike Holly directly. The quarter inch crater enveloped by a shiny silver shrinks before fading altogether.

The T-1000 races toward the left side but it pauses, with its heightened senses it notices the vines around her shifting, almost like veins, some release their hold of the plane and begin to make way towards its ankles. The T-1000 jumps, blocking the attack of one incoming vine. It could sense the vines, but it was at the same time tricky. It could not fully see the vines, but it could make an accurate guess of where they would land specifically. It noticed the air pressure would change and flow in certain areas, it could use that data to predict its oncoming attacks, but it was not entirely accurate.

Another leaps forward, The T-1000 lowers its right shoulder as it strikes right by it.

Another then takes advantage of its off-balance pose and wraps around its ankles. Another secures its other ankle in place. It begins to melt its body, forming a shiny silver substance, it forces itself downward only for more vines to wrap and chains themselves into it.

It pauses, it tries to jerk off the incoming attack, but the vines retaliate by coiling themselves deeper and deeper until they form a perfect chain. The tingling sensation returns, that oh so ever helpful sparkling energy has no doubt returned. It wasn’t the energy itself that burned it, but the sensation. It almost felt like heightened activation of its sensation, it felt many crackles and sparks of lighting at once, almost as it overstimulated the machine.

The machine sunk into the ground, creating a small dent in the middle of the helicopter.

                BANG

Another gunshot fires, sending a piece of itself backward and into the open air. That will take some time before that piece either relocates the T-1000 or reforms altogether. This is not the optimal situation, another hit and it would be blasted off and into the open air. It did not have the time to waste.

                BANG

Another shot glides past its cheek, creating a slight sliver scar that runs across his lower lip and up to the his right eye. The sliver shrinks until there is nothing there.

                BANG

The T-1000 ducks its head and allows the bullet to fly into the air.

                BANG

The T-1000 shifts its body and hangs its head downwards.

                BANG

This round hits, it bites off another chunk from its lower abdomen area and flies into the air.

                BANG

Another round hits, causing it to lean backwards. Another hit and it will take it a while to rejoin the others, it turns its head, trying to find its location. Where was its exact geolocation, it recognized these mountains. Yes, this is not too far, if it actually continued, it would have no problems finding Tibet, it should stay with the other terminators then.

                BANG BANG BANG BANG BANG.

A sudden influx of bullets behind it forces the helicopter to swerve and turn left, forcing it to fly backwards at a high velocity. The force causes the vines to release their grip, the T-1000 looks back.

One of the other terminators, presumably Rust has emerged and is now sitting on the side of the wing and takes aim at the helicopter.

The indirect force of the plane causes the remaining vines attached to the plane pull it towards the helicopter. They were like balls on a rope, with the helicopter on one end, and the plane on the other. The vines are what connect the two, the vines force the plane forward. It comes hauntingly close to the plane.

The T-1000 takes the opportunity to turn back and jump towards the plane. In on last attempt to stop the T-1000, a vine races along the top like a fast-moving cobra and leaps towards its back. It jumps just in time, it lands with a thud. It made it just in time.

“Did you get them?” Ria asks.

                “No.” Holly growls in frustration.

“But I was close, very close.” She says with a frustrated sigh, she puts her hand to her face in shame and contempt of herself.

                “Don’t worry.” Ria reassures her.

Holly looks at her with an intense look.

“You’ll get him next time, I promise.” She says.

She smiles meekly, yeah, she isn’t going to let this thing keep her down, but it won’t stop her from making that thing her main target, for now and evermore. The plane pulls back and is on a level that is side by side with the helicopter. It starts moving backwards to reveal a man standing on the tip of the wings, Rust.

He takes aim at the group and fires, Holly lowers her head in fear and buries her self into the chest of her protector. Luis turns back and takes something out of his pocket.

“Here, hold this.” He says in a cold commanding voice before shoving the shotgun directly into Ludwig’s lap. Ludwig stares in confusion and horror as he clumsily picks it up.

The look he gives Luis is a rather harsh one, as almost if he is saying, “What the hell am I supposed to do with this?”

Luis takes that something from his pocket and throws it towards the plane.

The object gets closer and closer to Rust’s face, revealing itself to be a rather large grenade. Rust carefully observes the grenade as it brushes by it. It takes the but of his barrette gun and buts the grenade. The force causes the grenade to bounce along the outer edge of the plane before exploding in a loud bang near the tail.

The force causes them both to shake violently, Rust has a hard time keeping itself to its feet.

The force also heavily affects the T-1000, it had to stab a metal spike into the plane just to keep itself upright. The violent shaking made it swerve and fumble through the air. Rust looks toward it and walks above the plane and towards the T-1000.

---

The explosion violently shakes the group back and forth, they were like the marble in a can of spray-paint. Holly yelps as she is thrusted forward and into the arms of her protector. Luis immediately sits down and covers her from the blow, another explosion rattles them even more. What was that second explosion? Luis turns backwards and observes the motion behind them.

What a curious sight, it seems the reinforcements that Elizabeth Joestar sent threw a rocket towards the plane, in the motion of projection the grenade was thrown backward. The grenade and the rocket collided, causing a unique explosion and almost rare occurrence.

“WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU GUYS DOING BACK THERE?” The pilot yells.

---

The T-1000 carefully watches as the one identified as Rust carefully approaches it. Perhaps it is asking for assistance, it turns its head to observe the scenery beneath it. It recognized the scenery from HK arial scans that were fed into it near its activation, the Moab mountains, it likely has a good reach of the Tibet if it made a route through their and take a quite shortcut through Saudi Arabia and Iran. It was fine with this, this was getting too troublesome for it to deal with, it could reach Tibet on its own. It has realized that these vampires have become self-sufficient. From its perspective, the situation has become much easier to deal with now that Rist has exited the plane.

It found this to be an acceptable alternative.

Rust looks down on it and outstretches its hand.

The T-100 turns to it and simply stares.

Rust looks back at it curiously.

“I am going to make a quick detour, I presume you are taking care of this yourself?” It asks.

                “Yes, and?” It asks.

“Then wait for me in Tibet, I have made a discovery and will meet you shortly.” It replies.

                “Discovery?”

It gives Rust no time to assess that answer, he flies backwards from the plane and into the sky below. Rust simply observes as the T-1000 becomes an ever smaller dot in the landscape.

It cocks its head to the side.

Curious, why would it be interested in doing such a thing?

---

Smokey couldn’t believe his eyes, was that real? Did that creepy cop guy just really let go?

“Did you see that Holly?” Smokey asks with his mouth agape.

“Yeah… I did.” Holly stares in disbelief.

“It let go, why?” She asks herself.

Ever since this thing has shown up, it has made some quite confusing decisions. Why was the T-1000 doing all of this Was there really a purpose? Or maybe it found something. A detour perhaps.

She grits her teeth and balls her fists.

“Forget him, we got more important things to worry about.” She says as she gestures her heard towards the plane.

“Oh, right!” Smokey yells as he turns his head.

Smokey takes aim and prepares his hands, they form into tight finger guns. Holly observes and does the same, using her newfound observations to create a net with her vines. They have a narrow time frame to actually pull this into action, how will they make it count? How ill they survive.

“Wait, Holly, what if shoots us again?”

She freezes, at this point, what does she do next?

It’s not going to be affected by her hamon in anyway, it can only blind them temporarily, she frowns, she stumped.

“Hey wait Holly! I got an idea!” Smokey says in excitement.

Her head tilts to him curiously, why was he excited all of the sudden?

“We aim for his eyes, and while he’s distracted, your robot buddy Luis aims for the kill!”

“Well, if we do that, that robot will find someway to counteract and start shooting again, and if we miss, he continues shooting, then what?”

                Smokey laughs.

“No, no, no, you didn’t listen all the way!” Smokey comments.

“We just gotta throw another grenade and then boom! He’s toast. If that doesn’t work, we use our back up to finish the job!” Smokey says in excitement.

“And I’m itching to give these vampires some more payback after their little stunt back in Egypt!” He chuckles in maddening frenzy, aiming two fingers directly at Rust.

Holly remains frozen in her tracks, wait, that is actually very smart.

If they timed it right, they could actually stun them for a good while. If it was timed right the vampires won’t get to strike back and Rose and her gang will be falling into the rocky dessert.

“You know what Smokey, I like that idea!” She giggles.

“Luis, you got any more of those grenades?” She asks.

                Luis turns and nods.

“Good, we’ll just do this on my mark then!” Holly yells.

“Entschuldigung, May I pitch in?” Ludwig asks as he aims his finger guns at the terminator.

“Certainly, give them everything we got!” Holly yells.

                “In three….”

Rust turns back, he lifts his barrette and takes aim at Holly.

Smokey, Holly, and Ludwig all take in deep breathes.

                “Two…”

He marches closer, his finger almost fires.

                “ONE! FIRE!”

                “GILDED-RAINBOW REFLECTION!” The group yell.

A thousand make their way towards Rust, Rust shields his eyes as the lights pierce through his metal body. His bullet misfires and takes aim at the ground below. They may not damage him, but they definitely are enough to make stumble back a bit in distraction.

Luis takes this opportunity to throw a grenade, it leaps into the air and bounce across the plane.

Rust takes notice of the grenade. It bounces along the top of the plane before exploding, causing the insides to nearly rupture open.

A small whining emanates from the plane.

Smokey takes a finger gun and uses this opportunity to aim at the Plane’s engine.

The plane ignites, and fires into a mist. Holly shields her eyes as the explosion nearly blinds her for a short moment.

Smokey falls back in a huff.

Ludwig bends over and shields Lisa Lisa with his body.

“Huh, that was particularly easy.” He thought, did they kill the vampires, are their worries gone now?” From the smoke, something arises, the sun goes dim before it is snuffed out.  That felt weird, almost tingly, wow, if they kept going at this rate, they would master this new Hamon form in no time. Smokey looked at his hand, was there more to this, this Reflection power?

He waited for a while, it was hard to see amidst all the chaos.

                “What, again already?” Holly asks.

The smoke subsides, and a cluster could be made out from the debris.

“Crap, guess that didn’t work.” Smokey comments.

---

Christina weep silently as she clutches the hair of Rose, Rose smiles and pats her head gently.

“It’s alright dear, if those Tinker Twats don’t get this matter solved, then I’ll be the one to solve it.” She says.

“TINKER TWATS!” She yells, turning her head in a passing moment of rage.

“What the hell do you think you’re, what are you—”

Rose turns her head, she noticed that one of the terminators, Rust, has vanished.

                “What, just where did he?”

“It had to assist the T-1000 unit stationed outside, we are dealing with some difficulties.” She said blankly.

“Well then, why don’t you deal with it faster! All you have ever done is make these little mishaps worse! Why can’t you do what you are supposed to do for once!” She screams.

“If you give us more time, we will have this situation cleared.”

                “Cleared?”

                RUMBLE RUMBLE RUMBLE

The plane violently shakes, the vibrations could be felt in every nook and cranny, it won’t hold for much longer at this rate.

“YOU CALL THAT TAKEN CARE OF?” She yells.

“Well, we would have gotten there faster if you did not insist on ‘slowing Holly down,’ this blockade has ultimately shown they retaliated as predicted.”

“THAT DOESN’T MATTER!” She snaps back.

“WHAT MATTERS IS THAT YOU ARE BE AN IMPUDENT LITTLE RAT!” She screams, pointing her finger at Ruby.

“After all, we’re just co-workers aren’t we?” Rose yelled, she stressed the word ‘co-wrorkers’ to an uncomfortable degree.

“We work with each other, not for each other. So don’t insist that I follow your orders again!”

“Your unwarranted anger will not assist in de-escalating the situation.” Ruby replied.

“Well, neither does your petty back-talk! I’m getting quite sick of you little Shite-stains.” She yells back.

“Miss Rosettooooooooooo.” Christina whines in fear.

“Are we going to die?” She asks.

Rose turns her head, a more gentle expression grows upon her face.

Before she could give the small child comfort, the plane erupts into a loud explosion, Rose is forced outside the plane and into the sky. In a panic Zhu raises his defenses yet again. The sky blackens, those damn clumsy machines, could barely hold off a gang of humans, pathetic.

Little Christina screams, flailing her arms wildly as she falls through the air. She lands safely into Rose’s arm, she grows out her spring like hair and coils it around the little girl. She turns to her side, she hastily grabs a window cover and wraps it around the two.

“ZHU! COME HERE!” Zhu pushes himself towards her and the two interlock arms.

Rose stairs at the group with hatred in her eyes.

                How dare that Joestar brat!

---

                “Luis?” Holly asks nervously.

“How long until we reach the airport now?”

“Given the time, around five minutes.” He replied back.

“Well, guess we don’t have to worry too much.” Holly thinks to herself.

After more of the dust settles, a shape forms, and this shape is none other than Rose Rosetto herself, staring down at Holly with a look of hatred in her eyes.

In her arms, she clutches a small bundle, small hands push out of the bundle and peak over. Ludwig catches the girls gaze. It was her, that little vampire girl! She’s returned! But how, and more importantly, why?

She stares at the girl a bit closer, at the basilica, He barely had time to notice, but now, the features, he gasped.

                “YOU!” He screams.

He aims his fist at her and forms a finger gun.

“I RECOGNIZE YOU! YOU’RE THE REASON MR. ZEPPELI CAME TO SCOTLAND!”

                Lisa Lisa’s interest was peaked.

                “Scotland, you- don’t mean.”

Rose raises her arms, and stares down at Ludwig in a menacing manner, as almost if to say, “Don’t you dare do it Ludwig.”

Ludwig ignores this stare at takes aim, he fires, a laser shoots straight towards the girl.

“DON’T, WAIT, LUDWIG STOP!” Holly yells, but it was already too late

Rose shields her with her back and turns, but it wasn’t enough, part of the blast struck the girl in the cheek, and the girl begins screaming in pain.

“MISS ROSETTO HE HURT ME!” She screams in agony.

Rose retaliates, a large whisp of hair cuts in a circular motion and carves the top of the helicopter. Part of the fan is sliced off, the helicopter falls forward and Holly and Rose engage in the most harrowing stares of a lifetime.

                “Shit.” Holly thinks to herself.

Another helicopter inches near her and slides towards the group. Rose was going to let her go, just like Holly did back when they were and Egypt, and this time it wasn’t just to be fair. Holly may have gotten lucky this time, but next time, she will find herself in the most unfortunate circumstance. One that will make her regret harming her little sister.

Holly stares back as big arms clutch her tightly and throw her into the next one.  The pilot ejects himself, a hand reaches out to grab him.

Holly stares for a moment, and her eyes widen with surprise.

She understood it now, she gets what Rose is trying to do.
