Chapter Text

Number one is definitely just all the possible combinations for switch fics. Like, other than just all the individual ones, just, small groups that are switched. Or like, imagine the entire groups switching so they just come into a world that seems completely different. Or like, imagine all the dudes or all the girls switching.

I had a great idea for a fic where when Katarina hit her head, rather than her previous personality completely taking over her younger self, it’s a bit more like schizophrenia (no offense intended to those with schizophrenia) where this little 8 year old girl suddenly has 17 years worth of memories, and a voice that is constantly talking to her, convincing her to be a better person. Maybe old Katarina has control most of the time, or maybe New Katarina had control most of the time, but the other can control their body sometimes. So it’s just, everybody thinks she’s extra eccentric cause at times she’ll act like this proper noble lady, but other times she’ll just be bakarina. She still manages to save everyone cause she has bakarina, but maybe in some more unconventional senses, or maybe there’s just more friction as OG Katarina fights against new bakarina. And of course OG Katarina fighting not to become a better person, but she kinda does, kinda cause she’s afraid of dying or being exiled, but mostly because Bakarina rubs off on her. And of course OG isn’t a dumbass. So can you imagine her exasperation as she realizes everyone is in love with her, but not her her, the dumbass that shares her brain. Perhaps some angst due to that realization as well.

Another idea that I love is just, OC reincarnated into Bakarina. And of course they don’t want a bad end either, but also they’re nothing like Bakarina and they don’t want to be like her either. So they think that the probably can’t save everyone like she did, but she still at least does her best to avoid her doom. But also this would probably be a fic where I play with the worldbuilding a lot, because I would love for my OC to just explore different nations and explore magic and just, have their own sense of fun in this world.

Everyone is a reincarnated soul. Everyone. Of course we have Bakarina and Sophia, who will stay roughly the same, but also just, everyone else, with varying levels of knowledge and memory of their previous life. I would love For someone with a natural sense of adventure to be reincarnated as Geordo cause they just, hate his sense of boredom. Some have knowledge of the game, some maybe even super meta with knowledge of the anime, I don’t even know honestly, I haven’t thought it through too well yet, but I love it.

And of course maybe some modern aus, or switches with the modern world or stuff like that, I also love those

This is just the first. It’s getting late, so probably tomorrow I’ll post some more detailed concepts, as well as whatever else comes up lol.

Ok, let me talk about the different possible switch combinations. Of course I'm already doing one for Katarina switch. So far I've done OG Katarina in isekai world. I also plan to do a fic for Isekai Katarina in game world. poor girl's gonna have a heart attack. Most of the other switches will probably alternate between both world though. I have one planned for Maria, one for Mary, one for Alan, and one for Sophia and Nicol together. I thought they they would work best together in switch rather than apart. As for Geordo and Keith, I'm actually not sure. They could work in sperate fics, but I also think it would be great for them to switch as a group. all of these probably happen about halfway through the school year, but I also have some ideas for post exile/post death switches. I think it would be great having one with Maria and the boys switching into a post Katarina death scenario. also have one where it's the main seven taken to a post-exile world. and all girls switch and an all boys switch would also be fun. Also maybe one for Geordo and Alan together. I don't know, there's just so much potential. can't promise all of these, but ill definitely do some.

also I have an idea for one where everyone is reincarnated into modern America. I don't know enough about Japan's school system to write about it. But my idea is that everyone is a foreign exchange student of some sort. They're together in a class to learn English, so I think it would be interesting to have all of these barely english speaking characters trying to communicate, but also they just find something so familiar and warm about eachother. I would probably keep Katarina and Sophia Japanese. Maria would be Mexican since her name is spanish lol. I think Geordo would be french? maybe. I haven't thought about the other's too much yet lol. None of them would be siblings probably (although don't worry I don't plan on doing anything gross, this is just for Katarina and Keith). They're either in high school or have come overseas for college.

also i'd love to do a bit with them as adventurers. They just have such fun dynamics. I know that there's already a fic that's kind of like that, but I have some different ideas.

I'll probably write up a bit more for the everyone is actually reincarnated and the Bakarina and Katarina share a headspace idea, since I love those two so much, and I wanna make a detailed layout for those two.
