Class 1-B never expected to be placed on such a tight spot during the Class 1-A and Class 1-B joint training session, but alas, their sister class proved to be quite durable.

Even so, who could've expected one of the students' arms to suddenly burst into an array of pitch black, red, and white tendrils?

"GRAAAAH!"

"What the hell is going on?!" Kendo asked as she and the rest of Class 1-B looked at the explosion of tendrils with worry. 

"Todoroki-kun's rage has manifested into devilish tendrils of destruction!" Shiozaki said fearfully. "He's edging closer to becoming the monster his-"

"Shiozaki-san, don't you dare finish that sentence!" Sen growled. "You'll only make things worse!"

"Monoma-kun, what did you do this time?!" Setsuna asked the copycat.

"I didn't do shit! Tetsutetsu-kun was the one fighting Todoroki-kun before he exploded!" Monoma snapped back. "He must've pushed him so far past his limit, these tendrils burst out as a defense mechanism!"

"I still think you're to blame for this!"

Suddenly, a flash of light green bolted past the group, and upon closer look, they saw it was the doll-like member of 1-B, Mint Midoriya, who has swallowing large pieces of rubble while also getting the attention of the tendrils.

"What the hell is he doing?!" Monoma exclaimed. "Midoriya-kun! Get the hell out of there!"

"No, he's doing the right thing," Yui remarked, startling the copycat. "He's distracting the tendrils so they don't hurt us, while trying to summon his familiars."

"Well, he's not going to get many out that way," Monoma grimaced. "If only there was a way to get a bunch of stuff for him to absorb at once..."

Then, Kendo got an idea, and the 1-B students followed her to 1-A's side, the class looking at the scene with equal shock and amazement.

"Yaoyorozu-san!"

The raven-haired class president faced her equal.

"I know this might be sudden, and it beats the point of the session, but we need to work together if we want to stop Todoroki-kun from destroying everything!"

Yaoyorozu looked stunned at the statement, but quickly nodded and asked, "What do you need me to do?"

Meanwhile, back with Midoriya, the guy kept dodging the tendrils as he tried to swallow the rubble formed as a result of the tendrils' strikes. However, he was forced to spit it out every time he had to move, so, yeah, not the most effective plan.

Eventually, the tendrils combined and headed straight for Midoriya... Until a flash of silver appeared in front of him and blocked the attack, sending Todoroki back slightly.

"Thank goodness I regained my senses in time!"

Todoroki's blank eyes widened as the figure was revealed to be Tetsutetsu, currently covered completely in steel.

"Thanks for distracting him, Midoriya-kun, but there's no way you're beating him alone," Tetsutetsu stated, flashing a confident smile and thumbs up as he added, "So, how about we work together?"

Midoriya smiled, nodded, and opened his mouth, inhaling Tetsutetsu in his entirety as Todoroki looked in shock, then dashed at the miniature hero student in rage, tendrils ready to put him in place.

However, Midoriya promptly spat out Tetsutetsu, now covered in ice, who smirked before shouting:

"TETSUTETSU HOWL!"

The shout stunned Todoroki and sent the tendrils back, allowing the ice steel man a quick punch to the face. 

Todoroki, however, quickly retaliated with a punch of his own, one not only strong enough to break Tetsutetsu out of his icy form, but also knock him, signaled by his steel form turning back to normal once he hit the ground.

With him taken care of, Todoroki edged towards a terrified Midoriya once more...

"Todoroki-kun!"

And then, he stopped, the warm sensation of Yaoyorozu's hug bringing him to a halt.

"Stop this right now, please!" Yaoyorozu begged, shedding tears as she tightened the hug. "This isn't you, Todoroki-kun! You're not a mindless beast of destruction! You're a hero in-training!"

Todoroki's eyes slowly turned back to normal... Just in time for Yaoyorozu to let go and gesture Midoriya to inhale him, which he did soon after.

However, Todoroki didn't struggle at all, and instead allowed himself to be swallowed, closing his eyes as everything turned pitch black...

And then a few seconds later, Midoriya spat out Todoroki, now back to his normal self.

"Thanks for the help."

Yaoyorozu turned to Midoriya, who gave her a thumbs up and smiling face as she checked on Todoroki.

"Did you... Eat, whatever he just did?"

Midoriya shook his head. "I don't eat the things I inhale or absorb, I simply turn them into a familiar. And even if I ate them, I don't eat Quirks."

Yaoyorozu chuckled and sighed. "Class 1-B's lucky to have you on their side, then."

Midoriya laughed out loud as the session came to an abrupt end, and he was declared, the MVP.

Mint Midoriya! Quirk: Sweet Familiarity! By absorbing or inhaling things, he can create dessert-themed familiars that have a variety of abilities, though they go down in one hit! If he inhales a person with a Quirk, they get layered with a familiar type, giving them both their abilities and their natural Quirk to work with!
