Florida was in his room, together with his best friend, Louisiana. They were playing Mario Kart together. Florida looked over. "Hey Louie, don't you think it's a bit weird how we just moved in, but it feels like we've been here forever?" He chuckled.
"Sha, you right." Louie agreed, concentrating on the game. "But at the same time, it feels like there's still some things we need to get used to."
Florida looked back at the TV screen, smiling. "Like everyone fighting. I mean, I'm used to it at the table, but here, it's something different alright."
And as if on cue, Texas and Alaska were fighting right outside.
"I'm the biggest state, Texas, why can't you just accept that." Alaska huffed, not really as heated as Texas, but definitely very annoyed.
"It was better when y'all weren't around, anyways!" Texas rebuttaled. "Everything's bigger in Texas- That's our motto, and y'all ruined it!"
Florida sighed, pausing the game. "That's the third time now they're arguing about who's bigger." He smirked slightly, eyeing Louie. "Are you thinking what I'm thinking?"
Louie looked over to Florida. "You're planning something. I like that." He smiled.
"Just follow me." Florida got up and walked out of the room, Louie following him. "Hey, hey, guys, we all know Alaska is the better state." He butted in.
Both Alaska and Texas looked over. "Thank you, Florida." Alaska smiled.
"What?! Florida- He's up to somethin'." Texas looked away and crossed his arms, huffing slightly.
"No, he's finally taking the right side in things." Alaska smirked.
"Buuuuuuttttt-" Florida added, smiling chaotically. "Texas really was first."
Texas laughed. "There it is." He sighed slightly.
Alaska rolled his eyes. "Of course you'd think that, Florida. I'm not dealing with this today." He huffed, walking away. "You do whatever, Texas."
Texas put his arms down, letting out an exhausted sigh. "What caused y'all to fight, anyway?" Louie asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Alaska still thinkin' he's the biggest around. It gets on my nerves." Texas responded, tensing up a little. "Why'd he have to join the table anyways?"
"He's a state." Louie shrugged. He looked over to Florida, going back to the room. Florida followed, smiling.
"That was fun!"
"Mais, I don't know. I don't like seeing Texas all upset."
"He'll be fine, Louie! Come on, let's play!" Florida picked up his joycon and started the game back up.
"Alright, if you say so, sha." Louie joined in, smiling a little.
