Chapter Text

They've been best friends since they were five. They are neighbors and their parents are also close with each other. They grow up having each other's back which makes them almost like sisters by blood. They were each others rock, someone they can come to when they're facing a hard time.

Their parents said that they are inseparable. The MinaChaeng bond is just too strong. They clicked with each other because they share the same liking. From foods to eat, genre of movie and music, games to play and also to team up against the persons they hate.

But of course there's still circumstances that makes them opposite to each other. Specially in terms of the way they dressed, style of their hairs, their attitudes and most importantly when it comes to relationships.

Mina is girly and is a shy type girl to persons she's not close with. She likes wearing dress, skirts, shorts, crop tops and also high heels. Maybe she gets comfortable with these type of clothes because of her line of work; a model.

She has a long black wavy hair which usually changes every other week, depending on the theme of her photoshoots. Mina is always beautiful but it seems like she became a different person when she's in front of the camera. Its like the shy girl inside her is being washed away by her confidence and professionalism.

When it comes to relationship, she is a serious one. She's smart but when it comes to love, she becomes a fool for it. Mina always gave her all to her every relationship because she always thought that it's finally "the one". But it only ends up on her crying her eyes out and ranting to Chaeyoung.

When this happens, Chaeyoung would be annoyed and would nag her saying that she's too kind and too serious that's why her ex-boyfriends always took her for granted and took advantage on her. But even if she's always annoyed by the repeated scenario for she don't know how many times, she'll still be there, being Mina's crying shoulder because what can she do? It's her bestfriend.

Meanwhile Chaeyoung is a boyish type and a bubbly one which makes her easy to be approached. Her friendliness almost makes her the nation's friend. She likes simple clothes, just shirts, hoodies, jeans and sneakers and she's fine. She always reasons out that being a photographer doesn't require fancy clothes for it will not affect the results of her arts.

She used to have a long hair but she said that she doesn't like it because it was too common for a girl. So she decided to cut her hair short, a bobbed cut. She has a small face and is beautiful too that's why Mina told her that whatever hairstyle she has, she can always pull it off. But Mina once told her that she became too handsome with her new hair.

Chaeyoung never had a boyfriend not because she's not ready for relationships but simply because, she's not into boys. Her parents and of course Mina, was shocked at first but they love her so much and they accepted and supported her for whatever decision she wants. It's her life anyway. Chaeyoung has ex-girlfriends, in fact she has tons of it because she changes her girlfriend like how fast she changes her clothes.

She's known for being a play girl and for not being serious to any of her relationships. For her, relationships are just fun and sex and no serious emotions should be attached. She would likely to broke up with her girlfriend if it started to be clingy or needy of more romantic stuff. It's not just her thing and she's busy taking care of her always brokenhearted bestfriend.

She hates it when Mina cries. She hates it when she see her hurt. Mina is a very loving person with a fragile heart, for Chaeyoung she didn't deserved to be hurt like that. It makes her want to punch every asshole that makes Mina felt that way.

She's overprotective of her. Because since Mina's father passed away, she promised to herself that she will protect and take care of her always.

Chapter Text

Chaeyoung was woken up by the loud sound of her phone. She ignored it as she was just too lazy and sleepy to get up. And she thought that maybe it was just from some random girls she met at the bar. As she was trying to get back to sleep, her phone blasted its loud ring tone once again.

She annoyingly got up and answered the call.

"Will you please stop call-"

"C-chaeng..."

Upon hearing the voice from the other line, she hurriedly opened her eyes to check if the caller is really who she think it is.

"Minari, why did you call? Are you okay?"

"C-can you p-please pick me u-up?"

She knew something was wrong as she can hear Mina choking with her cries.

"What?! Where are you Mina?!"

"O-outside the building of w-where I work"

"Stay there and don't go anywhere. I'm on my way"

Chaeyoung hurriedly wear her hoodie, jeans and sneakers. As soon as she got hold of the key, she rushed inside her car and started driving. She cursed under her worried breath everytime she'd encounter a traffic light.

Why the fuck Korea has so many traffic lights?!

But she was thankful that there's no many cars anymore as it is already late at night. She was nearly approaching Mina's workplace. She was searching for Mina even before pulling off the car. When she arrived, she hurriedly got out and looked for her.

"Minari! I'm here, where are you?!"

She got no response but she saw someone sitting by the sidewalk. Its head was resting by its arms with its knees curled up. Chaeyoung run towards her as she knew who's figure it is.

"Hey.. It's okay. Come here, let's go home"

She patted her back. Mina slowly lifted her head and looked at Chaeyoung. Her eyes were already puffy as she was crying non-stop. Chaeyoung helped her to stand up and they slowly walked back to her car while holding each other's hand.

As soon as Mina was settled to the car, Chaeyoung started to drive again. The long ride back to Mina's house was full of silence. Although Chaeyoung can hear faint sobs from the passenger seat. She will likely to check on Mina from time to time.

When they arrived, she saw that Mina already fell asleep. She slowly patted Mina's arm to wake her up. She opened the door for her and led her to her room. As they entered Mina's room, she went straight to her bed and cried again. Chaeyoung removed her heels and went to her closet to find a more comfortable clothes.

"Change your clothes first, please"

It took Mina a long time to get up but she had no choice because she knows that Chaeyoung would be more upset. She didn't bother to go and change at her bathroom. She was always changing in front of Chaeyoung since they were kids. After she finished, she plopped on her bed again.

Chaeyoung picked up her clothes and put it in her laundry. Then she went to Mina's bed to tuck her up. She saw that it was already sleeping which is good because she knew that Mina was already tired.

When she was about to leave, a soft hand holds her wrist.

"C-chaeng, can you please s-stay?"

Chaeyoung took a deep breath and nodded silently. She laid down beside Mina and opened her arms to let Mina rest her head on it. After that, she felt Mina moved closer and hugged her. She was gently stroking Mina's hair because she knew that it always helped her calm down.

She knew how to handle Mina everytime something like this happened. It's almost like it became a routine for her.

"You know you can always tell me everything, right?"

She whispered to Mina while still stroking her hair. Even though she's annoyed again, she knows that this is not the right time to nag over Mina. She felt that the girl slightly nod.

After the long silence, Chaeyoung was about to leave again to let her sleep comfortably but she started talking.

"H-he cheated on m-me again. With my c-colleague"

Chaeyoung clenched her fist. Suppressing the anger that is building up. That asshole. She just let Mina talk because if ever she will interfere, she might just say something that may make things much worse.

"W-why does he always do this to me Chaeng? I always give my all, to the point that there's nothing left for myself. I believed all of his promises, how many chances do I have to give?"

Then, she started sobbing again. All Chaeyoung could do is calm her down.

"You know what, Chaeng? He already planned for our future. He told me that one day, we will get m-married. I know that Bam loves me, he loved me! But maybe, I'm not enough. Maybe he was right, I was just too plain and boring"

Married my ass. She let go of her hug with Chaeyoung and turned her back on her. Chaeyoung sighed out of frustration as she can see how Mina's shoulder was shaking from crying.

"Hey, look at me" and gently pulled Mina's body to face her again.

"Don't you ever think of that way to yourself again. You are enough Mina and you're not boring. You always aced every game we play and always defeat me. That's not boring, right?"

She chuckled and saw that Mina laugh a bit too. Finally.

"So please, don't blame yourself always. You already said that you gave your all, which means you are enough. You did your best. It's not your fault that that asshole is a fool for being not contented with you. Tsk"

"Hey, language"

"What?? It's true right? He's an asshole. He already have the most beautiful, smart and kind girl that I've ever met but he just left you for some past-time girl?!"

"I s-still need to hear his explanations, r-right? Maybe he was just-"

"Just what Mina?! Drunk again like what he always reason out with you everytime you'll caught him kissing different girls?! This is not the first time Mina and this is not also the first time that I'll tell you this, LEAVE THAT FUCKING MAN!"

Chaeyoung got up of the bed and massaged her temples. She can no longer held her anger. She just hates to see her bestfriend being like this because of a pathetic man.

"But Chaeng, I l-love-"

"Bullshit. Fuck that love Mina! It's not love anymore! Can't you see yourself right now? You look like shit! How many times do I have to pick you up in the middle of the night just because the same guy is cheating on you over and over again? Huh?!"

"Will you please stop shouting?! Yes, I know that I look like shit right now and I look like shit everytime he'll do this to me! But what else can I do?! I can't just let him go because I love him too much! You'll never understand me because you never take your relationships seriously!"

"Don't you dare drag my own life here! What do I get for not taking them seriously?! I didn't get a fucking heartbreak and I'll never look like what you are right now!"

"Okay that's it! Call me shit or whatever you want! This will be the last time that I'll seek help from you!"

"Fine! I'm leaving!"

Then Chaeyoung walked out of her door. As soon as she entered her car, she let out a loud sigh. Shit. She knew that this would happen everytime their anger would clash. She don't want to leave Mina specially on a state like that but if she'll stay, they will just keep on fighting. She punched the steering wheel and once she calmed down, she started driving again.

Mina was still crying while staring at her ceiling. She felt bad and guilty for shouting like that at her bestfriend. She knows that Chaeyoung is just upset and was just worried of her. She knows that herself is just all to blame for whatever is happening. Fuck.

She was already tired from all that happened that day and decided to just rest her body and mind. She closed her eyes and drifted to sleep.

Chapter Text

It was a sunny Saturday morning. Mina woke up and felt a throbbing pain in her head. She thought that it must be from the crying she did last night. She decided to get up and went to her bathroom to take a shower. As the cold water touched her skin, she somehow felt relax.

After the cold shower, she put on a simple clothes as she has no plans on going out the whole day. Before going out of her room, she glanced at her phone above the bedside table. She opened it expecting to receive a text from her bestfriend but much to her disappointment, there was none. But instead it was just bombarded by texts and missed calls from Bambam.

Mina remembered again the fight that she and her bestfriend had last night. She felt guilty again and cursed herself. The fuck is wrong with you Mina! She got out of her room and headed to her kitchen. She promised that she'll call Chaeyoung after she finished eating. Mina cooked a simple soup that wil help ease her headache.

As soon as she finished, she went to her living room and sat on the couch. After minutes of contemplating and staring at Chaeyoung's number, she finally pressed the call button. The ringing from the other line seems to match the rapid beating of her heart. She wants to fix this already because she can't bare to think that her bestfriend is mad at her.

Finally the other line picked up. There was a silence for how many minutes. Mina is thinking of the proper word to say and it seems like Chaeyoung is waiting for her.

"Chaeng"

"Minari"

They both laughed when they heard that they've called each other at the same time.

"Okay, ladies first" Mina chuckled on Chaeyoung's words.

"Look Chaeng, I am deeply sorry for what happened last night. And I didn't meant every word I say. I'm sorry"

"Hmm.. I know that you'll call and will say that exact words"

Mina felt the nervousness again as she heard the seriousness on Chaeyoung's voice. She thought that they can make up easily just like what they do every time they fight.

"C-chaeng.."

Mina stopped as she heard a loud laugh from the other line.

"Minariii oh my God! Don't tell me that you really believe that I'm mad at you?!"

"You know what, I really hate you Son Chaeyoung! Why are you doing this to me?!"

"Hahaha you should chill there princess. I was just joking I just want to know how are you going to react"

"Don't call me princess. It won't work this time" but deep inside Mina is already smiling.

"Oh don't lie now. I know you like how I know the back of my hand"

"Fine! You win. So what now? You're not mad right? We're okay right?"

"Yup! And I know that you really don't mean everything you said last night. You just can't help yourself seeking for my help. You can't live without me my dear bestfriend"

"Whatever Chaeng. And I also know that you can't stay mad at me for that long. So now, can you come over here? Maybe we could play some games or watch movie!"

"Alrighty! I'll just take a quick shower and I'll be there. Wait for me"

After their call, Mina can't stop smiling. Its like a huge rock was lifted because her heart felt so at ease right now.

She started preparing some snacks to eat while they are watching movies. She also cleaned her living room and put out the consoles that they will be using. She was already choosing games to play and what movie to watch when the door opened.

Chaeyoung knows the passcode for her pad. Her bestfriend entered with two plastic bags on her hand. As soon as she stepped in, Mina runs toward her and pulled her for a hug.

"Wow I guess you miss me big time, princess"

Chaeyoung felt Mina nod and hugged her more tightly. She let go of the hug and looked at Chaeyoung with her gummy smile and the latter pinched her cheeks. Too cute.

"I brought food from our favorite restaurant. We should eat first before playing"

"Is this some sort of peace offering?" Mina snickered.

"Yeah. Maybe. Come on while it's still hot"

They headed to the kitchen and started eating. They are always quiet when they eat. But from time to time, they'll gonna lock eyes and smile with each other.

"Chaeng I'll wash the dishes. Just go to the living room and pick a game that we will play"

"Is washing the dishes also your kind of peace offering?"

Mine glared at her before she walked to the living room laughing. She really likes to tease her bestfriend.

They spent their whole afternoon playing and once they grew tired, they decided to start watching movie. They cuddled on the couch, eating chips and popcorns. But during their second movie, Mina's phone started ringing. She picked it up and turned her head to Chaeyoung. She saw her serious face that's why she knew that it saw the caller ID. It was Bambam.

Mina sighed and cancelled the call. She turned her phone off and focused on watching the movie again.

"Why didn't you picked it up?"

"I just don't want to. I know what he's going to say and I'm tired listening to it. It's much better to just ignore him"

Chaeyoung secretly smiled upon hearing her answers. She put her hands over Mina's shoulder and continued watching.

They lost track of time because they are so immersed on the movie. When their third movie ended, Chaeyoung checked her phone and saw that it was already eight in the evening.

"Are you hungry Minari?"

"Yeah. We've just been eating junk foods. Do you want me to cook?"

"Nah. You'll just get tired. Let's just eat outside. Go and change your clothes"

They decided to eat at a nearby restaurant. They can't go much farther because their stomachs are already growling.

They had a good dinner and was happily walking out of the restaurant. When they were about to enter Chaeyoung's car, someone called Mina. Upon hearing the voice, Mina already knew who it is. She worriedly looked at Chaeyoung as she saw her clenched her fist. When the man already approached them, he suddenly grabbed Mina's wrist.

"Mina can we please talk? You've been ignoring my texts and calls"

"Let go of her you asshole!"

Chaeyoung pulled Mina close to her and gave Bambam a good punch. Mina shrieked when she saw Bambam lying on the ground. She went to Chaeyoung and held her arm.

"Chaeyoung please stop!"

But as soon as Bambam got up, he punched Chaeyoung too. Mina was fuming mad as she saw the bleeding lip of her bestfriend.

"What the fuck is wrong with you?! You don't come chasing me and punch my bestfriend!"

"I-I'm sorry Mina. I just wanted to talk to you but that fucking bestfriend of yours started it!"

"Don't you fucking curse at me!"

Chaeyoung was about to give him another punch but Mina stopped her.

"Chaeng please, stop it. Calm down okay? I'll just talk to him because if I don't, he will just keep on bothering me"

Chaeyoung looked at Mina wide-eyed. She can't believe what she is hearing right now.

"Are you serious Mina?! The hell I will let you be alone with that bastard!"

"Chaeyoung please! Nothing bad will happen to me, please trust me. Wait me at my pad, I'll come back after I talk to him"

Chaeyoung let out a defeated sigh. She knows that she can't persuade Mina to not talk to Bambam. In the end, she just let Mina do her things and all she could do is trust her.

"Don't you dare lay any finger at her or else I'll kill you!" Chaeyoung's last words to Bambam before driving away.

Chapter Text

Chaeyoung felt the tingling pain from her lower lip which only adds up to how upset she was with that asshole. She still can't believe that Mina chose to stay with that guy rather than coming with her.

Chaeyoung refused to go to Mina's pad like what she told her, and instead went to her favorite club. After parking her car, she went inside and was greeted by the loud sound and flashy lights. She headed to the bar counter and ordered her favorite drink; Margarita.

As she was drinking, she can't stop looking at her phone that was on top of the counter. She's been on a staring contest with it, waiting for a call or even a text from her bestfriend. Chaeyoung was worried sick about what is happening with her and the guy. It was already her fifth shot when a girl sat beside her. But she didn't even notice it as she was so occupied with the thought of Mina.

"Why does a beautiful face is sulking right here instead of having fun?"

The girl finally caught Chaeyoung's attention. She lifted her head up and looked at the girl beside her which is also staring at her. The girl plastered a beautiful smile which compliments her also beautiful face. It has a long pink hair and is wearing a sexy black dress. Fucking hot.

"You done checking me out?"

Chaeyoung blinked her eyes several times as if wanting to get out of the trance the girl put her in.

"Oh I'm s-sorry. You saying miss?"

"I asked you why are you sulking here instead of having fun?"

"Uh, I'm just not in the mood"

"Care telling me?"

Chaeyoung was contemplating if she'll open up with the stranger beside her, but she thought that she needed someone to talk to. She ended up telling everything from how fool her bestfriend is up to how she and that asshole got into a fight.

"So that explains that still fresh cut on your lip" Chaeyoung nodded and drink again.

They've come up to different topics along with shots that they don't know how many it was. The time passed and Chaeyoung was already drunk and can't even bear to lift her head up.

Mina on the other hand just got back on her pad. She was expecting for Chaeyoung to be there but to her surprise, her pad was empty. She started texting Chaeyoung but there was no reply. As she grew more worried for her bestfriend, she started calling her. After two rings, it finally picked up.

"Chaeyoung! Where are you?? I told you-"

"Hello?"

Mina's word was cut off. A girl picked up her call and she knew that it was not Chaeyoung. She can also hear loud music from the background.

"May I know who's this? And where's Chaeyoung?"

"Are you her bestfriend? Can you please pick her up here at the club? She was too drunk and I'm afraid she can't drive home anymore"

"Okay. Please stay with Chaeyoung until I get there"

Mina hurriedly grabbed a taxi and gave the address that the girl told her. She can't help blaming herself that Chaeyoung got drunk because of her. She also remembered that Chaeyoung got a cut on her lip. She payed the driver and got out of the taxi. Mina was not familiar with the place and she's nervous because what if she got on the wrong address.

Mina was walking towards the club and spotted a familiar car. She ran fast and saw that there's a girl outside Chaeyoung's car. She peeked inside and saw her bestfriend leaning through the window, already asleep.

"Hi, I'm Sana. I'm the one who answered your call"

"I'm Mina and thank you so much for taking care of her"

"No problem. Is Chaeyoung her name?"

Mina creased her forehead and Sana seemed to get that she was curious as to why she didn't know Chaeyoung.

"Oh we just met tonight and before I could even ask her name, she already passed out"

Sana chuckled and she also thought that it's really ridiculous that they already got so much to talk but they never introduced with each other.

"Oh I see. Yeah, Chaeyoung's her name. She's my bestfriend" and Mina gave her a shy smile.

"You should get going now. It's already late and so that you both could rest specially her"

"What about you? You can come with us and I'll drop you at your house" she knows that it's just rude to left her there knowing that she took care of Chaeyoung.

"Don't worry about me, I'm not that drunk. I have my own car and I promise that I can still drive safely back to my house" then the girl gave Mina a smile of assurance.

"Okay. Thank you again, Sana. We'll get going now"

Mina started the engine and wave at Sana saying goodbye once again. She started driving and decided to drop Chaeyoung on its own pad.

"Aish Son Chaeyoung. You shouldn't  drink this much if you can't even handle yourself and go straight home by yourself" she nagged even though she know Chaeyoung won't hear it. She glanced once again at the passenger seat and saw that it was sleeping peacefully.

They arrived at Chaeyoung's place in no time. She tried to wake Chaeyoung up but it was useless, she's really drunk. I have no choice. Tsk Mina put Chaeyoung's arms around her neck and helped her to walk to her room. She laid down Chaeyoung on her bed and removed its shoes. She also changed her clothes because it was reeking with the smell of alcohol.

She remembered that Chaeyoung always do this things to her when she's too brokenhearted to even move. Mina smiled at that thought.

I guess we're really lucky to have each other at times like this huh.

Chapter Text

It's almost noon, the sun is shining brightly. The sunlight was seeping throught the window and hits Chaeyoung's face. She was woken up by the heat and turned her face away from the window. With that little movement, she felt how light her head feels and groaned at the pain. Fuck hangover.

She opened her eyes and scanned her surroundings and much to her suprise, she was in her room. She was wondering how she got there but still feel delighted because she didn't wake up on a stranger's place.

She got up off her bed and headed to the kitchen. She was thirsty and her head is aching so bad, she needs a cold water or something. When she was about to get a cup, she was startled to see someone cooking.

"Oh my God Mina! You almost gave me a heart attack!"

Mina turned around and laugh at Chaeyoung's shock face, along with its messy hair.

"Good morning to you too, Chaeng!"

"What are you doing here this early?" Mina can feel that Chaeyoung is giving her a cold shoulder. But she knows that it's her fault too.

"I slept here last night. Because someone got too drunk that she can't even drove herself home" she heard Chaeyoung scoffed.

"R-really? Thanks"

"You should say thanks to Sana too"

"Who's Sana?" Mina turned to Chaeyoung dumbfounded. She remembered that Sana ask for Chaeyoung's name too.

"I can't believe you two! Sana also asked me what's your name. You remember drinking with a girl right?"

Chaeyoung's head was still aching so bad but she can still remember some moments last night. It was the pink haired hot girl.

"Oh. So Sana is her name" then Chaeyoung turned her back to Mina ang get a cup of cold water.

"So how did you meet her? And how did you know where am I?" Chaeyoung asked with a blank face.

Mina sighed before answering.

"After talking with h-him, uhh, I got back hurriedly at my pad because I know that you're there. But sadly, you're not. I texted you so many times but you weren't replying, I thought you were i-ignoring me. Then I got worried sick that's why I decided to call you. Then Sana answered my call, gave me the address of the club, saying you're too drunk"

"Then?"

"Then of course I came to the club. In fact, I asked her to stay with you until I get there. And voila, that's how we met"

"Okay. But OH MY GOD DID YOU DROVE MY CAR?!"

Mina was startled by her sudden shouting. Chaeyoung never trusted her again with driving ever since she almost got into a serious accident. That is why she never have her own car until that day. Mina frowns at Chaeyoung.

"You are over-reacting, Chaeng! Don't worry, your car is safe. No scratch at all. I drove back safely and I am confident that I can have my own car soon!"

"No fucking way Myoui Mina!" Chaeyoung glared at her, warning her that she'll never got a chance to drive a car again. Mina pouted because there's no way she can win with Chaeyoung with this argument.

"By the way, I cooked breakfast! It's your favorite, bacon and eggs. Sit down while I'll serve you this"

Chaeyoung do as she was told. Mina started preparing the breakfast and putting the food at the table.

"You should eat. You need to drink a medicine for that headache of yours"

Mina was smiling widely as she can she Chaeyoung enjoying the food. But still, she's sad because she knows that her bestfriend is still upset. They were eating silently but Chaeyoung broke the silence with a question.

"So.. how's your talk? Did he persuade you again to give him another chance?"

Mina felt her throat got dry. She drank water first before answering.

"Y-yes but I didn't gave in this time. I b-broke up with him Chaeng" Mina smiled slightly.

Chaeyoung suddenly felt guilty for acting cold with Mina today. She  knows that her bestfriend is hurting even though it forced a smile. But also deep inside, Chaeyoung is happy. This is what she wants for Mina to do ever since the first time that bastard cheated on her.

"Finally Mina! You've made it today! That's the best decision you have ever made. Congratulations my dear bestfriend! Allelujah" she tried to lighten the mood which she thinks worked as she can see Mina smiling, genuinely.

"It felt good, Chaeng. It's like I've been able to breathe fresh air from a toxic air pollution"

"Oh believe me Mina, it's more than toxic"

"Yeah, you're right. And you've been right the whole time. If only I listened to you back then, I wouldn't be experiencing all of this. I'm sorry Chaeyoung, for everything. And thank you for always having my back. For always being there by my side even if my stubbornness always get into your nerves" Mina chuckled slightly and holds Chaeyoung's hand while looking into her eyes. She really wants for her to feel her sincerity.

As soon as Mina holds her hand and looked into her eyes, Chaeyoung can feel the abnormal beating of her heart. Fuck this heart! You need to calm down! She tried to compose herself and answered Mina back.

"I-it's okay Minari. We all have some stubbornness hidden on ourselves. We just need someone that can handle all of it and lucky you, you have me" and she winked and laugh because Mina rolled her eyes.

"But of course, I'm lucky too because I have you. Even if you always make me upset, you know that I'll never leave you princess"

Mina melted with Chaeyoung's words. She stood up and gave her bestfriend a back hug. Chaeyoung was caught off guard by her sudden actions. They stayed like that for how many minutes before Mina removed her arms around Chaeyoung.

"That's enough for our drama because we are not always like this. It makes me cringe!"

"Well, guess who started it?" and they both laugh.

"But on a serious note, I am so proud of you Mina. I know that breaking up with him was really hard for you but you took a big step yesterday. You're really brave" Chaeyoung patted Mina's head and ruffled her hair. Mina gave her a proud smile too.

They hanged out a bit, watched movies before Mina bid goodbye. She needs to go home to prepare for her photo shoot tomorrow. Chaeyoung insisted to drive her home but Mina declined saying that she needs to rest.

Chaeyoung was laying on her bed, thinking of what just happened. She can't stop smiling at the thought that Mina picked her up at the club, took care of her and even about the break up news. I'm so happy what the fuck.

Chaeyoung shook her head to atleast remove that happy thoughts because it will not let her sleep the whole night. She was trying to sleep when her phone beeped. She hurriedly get her phone because she thought that it was Mina. But when she opens it, there's a text message from an unknown number.

Who is this? She opened the message and the text made her got up.

'Hi Chaeyoung, it's Sana. I hope you can still remember me. Can I call?'

Chapter Text

Chaeyoung was still curious about the text that she got from Sana. She'd been staring at it for a long time now. Why would she want to call me and how the hell did she get my number?! She shook her head when she realized that she look so dumb right now, thinking for an answer when in fact she could just ask Sana.

She replied to her saying that she can call. It doesn't take too long before her phone rings. She answered it but she didn't know what to say. Luckily, the girl started the conversation.

"Hi Chaeyoung! Are you already sleeping? Did I wake you up?"

"No, don't worry. To be honest I can't sleep"

"Really? I can't sleep too that's why I thought that naybe I could call you. But I just want you to know that I am really embarrassed right now" she heard Sana chuckled.

"No, it's okay. In fact, I want to talk to you too because I didn't even got a chance to thank you for what you did last night"

"No problem! And your bestfriend also came really fast to pick you up"

"Yeah she already told me. Anyways, how did you get my number? I can't remember giving it to you because we didn't even know each others name right?" Chaeyoung laugh at that thought as she remembered Mina's are-you-serious face.

"Well, you know, after that call of your bestfriend ended. I, uhh, quickly searched for your number on your contact list. Oh my God! I am really embarrassing myself with you two times in a row now"

"So you're quite sneaky, huh? And there's nothing to be embarrassed for" then she heard Sana laugh. Wow, music to my ears.

"Well I guess I am. But you know, we've got so much things that we talked about last night and out of all we really skipped the most important part!"

"You're right, I almost tell you everything about my life and you even know my best friend's name but not my name" Chaeyoung still find it funny.

"Even your bestfriend find it ridiculous, you know? I can still remember her reaction vividly when I ask her if Chaeyoung is your name!"

"Ohh, she gave me that face too!" both Sana and Chaeyoung laugh. If only Mina would know that her reaction became their topic, Chaeyoung would really be dead.

They've talk for long and came up with different topics that Sana usually started. Chaeyoung thought that it will never bore you when talking with Sana because she never let a conversation become dull. She also likes how she isn't flirty at all, like how the other girls she usually met. It's like she just really need someone to listen to all of her stories. Chaeyoung felt that she have found another friend in Sana.

They have lost track of time, Chaeyoung won't really notice it if she hadn't looked at her alarm clock on the bedside table. It was already 2am. No wonder she can hear faint yawns from the other line while she was talking.

"Hey, as much as I still want to talk to you, but I think we need to sleep now. It's already 2am and I know that you're sleepy too"

"Wow it's really 2am! I guess I really enjoyed talking to you. Are you sleepy too?"

"Well yes, and that's thanks to you" she heard Sana giggled.

"Okay, we should sleep now then. It's so nice having this phone call with you although I hope I didn't disturbed you. Good mornight Chaeyoung?"

"It's nice talking to you too and no, you didn't disturbed me at all. Good mornight too Sana" and they both laughed. Chaeyoung was about to hang up when she heard Sana called her name again.

"Uhh Chaeyoung wait"

"Hmm? What it is?"

"Can we.. Can we meet up again sometime?" Chaeyoung silently smiled.

"Of course, why not? Honestly, I really enjoyed your company. Just tell me when, okay?"

"R-really?! Thank you Chaeyoung! I'll just text or call you if I've already come up with a plan!" she giggled again, Chaeyoung can feel the excitement in her voice. They exchanged goodbyes and finally hanged up.

When Chaeyoung looked at her phone, she saw that there's a text from Mina.

'Chaeng, can you please pick me up at my pad tomorrow? At exactly 7am. It's just that I have a photoshoot and I have alot of stuffs to bring. Love you, my the best bestfriend!'

She smiled after reading it. Mina really knows how to make Chaeyoung don't decline her favors. Aish that girl!

'You know you're so bossy! And what do you think I am? Your driver?! Tsk. But of course anything for you princess. Love you too, Minari'

Fuck, what?! She frustratedly looked at her phone and the message that was already been sent. She's just hoping that Mina is already sleeping right now, because if she'll reply again she knows that it's impossible for her to sleep.

Luckily, after minutes of waiting her phone never beeped again. She really must be sleeping now. Chaeyoung set her alarm just to be sure that she'll not wake up late so that she can pick up Mina on time. She quickly drifts to sleep as soon as she closes her eyes.

Chapter Text

Chaeyoung's alarm already rang. She looked at it and saw that it was 6am. She decided to snooze it for another 30minutes because she's still really sleepy. Just minutes more.

She got back to sleep again. And when the alarm ranged for the second time, she got up immediately because it was 10minutes before 7am. Why does time run so fast?! She didn't bother to take a shower nor eat breakfast, she just changed her clothes and drove to Mina's pad.

When she got there, she saw Mina bringing her two luggages to the living room.

"Good morning, Minari"

"Good morning too, Chaeng! I thought you'll gonna be late" Mina pouted.

"I cheated my alarm that's why" Chaeyoung said while yawning. She sat on Mina's couch and lean on it and closed her eyes.

"Have you eaten already?" She heard Mina asked. She shook her heard as an answer.

"I'll prepare you a coffee and a bread. We'll go after you finish eating" then Mina headed to kitchen.

Chaeyoung fell asleep a little bit but Mina woke her up to let her eat. Mina noticed that Chaeyoung is still yawning from time to time.

"Someone slept too late last night huh?"

Chaeyoung looked at her and sipped at her coffee before answering.

"Hmm. Sana called and we forgot about the time"

Mina was shocked and looked at Chaeyoung.

"Sana?? You mean Sana from the club?" Chaeyoung nodded.

"Wow! You gave her your number without even knowing her name. Is this what you called the Chaeyoung way?" Mina smirked at her.

"What? No! Don't get this wrong, okay? Look, I didn't gave her my number. She got it herself after your call. And trust me, that's not the Chaeyoung way" She winked at Mina but the latter just rolled her eyes.

"Okay, fine. But talking to her until midnight? Are you already hitting on her?!"

"She texted me asking if she can call, it's rude to decline a hot girl you know? And I'm not hitting on her, yet"

"I really can't believe you Son Chaeyoung! And didn't I tell you to rest? I didn't even ask you to drive me home but there you are, talking to a girl until midnight" Mina pouted. Chaeyoung noticed that her bestfriend is sulking. She sat beside Mina and put her arms across Mina's shoulder.

"Hey.. Are you jealous?" Chaeyoung was teasing Mina and she received a smack on her arm.

"No! Why would I be jealous? If I know, you'll still choose be over any other girls" Mina stuck her tongue out. Minari is fucking cute.

"In your dreams, Minari!" then Chaeyoung  ran away because Mina is trying to throw the pillows on her.

They got tired from running and Mina noticed that she'll gonna be late soon.

"Enough, Chaeyoung! I'm gonna be late!"

"Okay, sorry. C'mon let's go"

Chaeyoung carried Mina's luggages and put in on the back seat. She entered the car and just waited for Mina to hop in. As soon as they were settled and buckled up safely, she started driving onto Mina's workplace.

On their way, as they encounter the first stop of the traffic lights Mina started a conversation that makes Chaeyoung wonder.

"Chaeng, I want to ask you something. And please, answer me seriously"

"Okay. Shoot"

"Do you really have no plans on having a serious relationship?"

Chaeyoung coughed as she felt like she was choked by her own saliva.

"What kind of question is that? You're like an alien" Chaeyoung tried to change the topic.

"I'm not and please don't try to get away with my question and answer it now"

Chaeyoung's smile faded and she plastered a serious face. Fuck it, let's just get done with this.

"Honestly Minari, I d-don't know. Maybe if I feel that she's the right one"

"Really? Then how about Sana?"

The go sign turns on. Chaeyoung started driving again but almost stepped on the break as she heard Mina mentioning Sana's name.

"What the hell Chaeyoung!"

"Oh my God! I'm sorry okay? Why are you suddenly bringing up Sana's name?!"

"Nothing. It's just that she's the only girl I know that you're about to hit up" Chaeyoung glared at Mina after hearing her answer.

"I told you I'm not hitting her up and I don't think I have a plan of doing that"

"Whatever Chaeng! What else do you need? She's a full package! She's beautiful, smart and of course "hot" like what you always say" Mina smiled teasingly.

"I know but I can't just make a move on her. I don't have feelings for her you know? Feelings for her on bed, maybe" then Chaeyoung smirked.

"You know what? You're really gross! I don't want to know your plans on bed! Just wait until you find your karma for all the girls that you dump like trash"

"Karma my ass, Minari. It's not gonna happen" because I think, you're already that karma. You already happened.

They were silent after that conversation. Chaeyoung just turned on the music to ease the tension of the atmosphere. After how many minutes, they already arrived at their destination.

But before going down, Mina brought up the topic again.

"Chaeng, Sana seems nice and I know that she'll like you too. So, why don't you give her a shot?"

"Mina, please. Let's talk about this another day. You should go because you're really running late"

"Okay, but you should think about it. Thank you for driving me here" Mina kissed Chaeyoung's cheek and got out of the car. She went to back seat to get her luggages. She wave at Chaeyoung again and walked inside the building.

Chaeyoung was still flustered and when she looked at the mirror, she saw how red her face is.

"Thank goodness she's not here anymore!" Chaeyoung calmed down herself before driving again.

As soon a she arrived at her own pad, she went straight to her bedroom and plopped down on her bed. She's still really sleepy and she's trying to get some sleep. But her own thoughts was keeping her awake.

She sighed many times while thinking about Mina's words. She shook her head trying to shove off those thoughts but it's really not working. She pulled her own hair and sighed again out of frustration. Fuck it!

She think about it for almost an hour. Chaeyoung was left with no choice. She grabbed her phone and find a specific conversation. She typed her message and convinced herself to relax now.

'Sana are you free? Can we meet tonight?'

As she was waiting for a reply, she felt the sleepiness was already crawling in.

Okay Mina, I'll give Sana a shot. If this will make you happy. Then she smiled bitterly.

Chaeyoung closed her eyes and finally fell asleep.

Chapter Text

Chaeyoung felt her hunger striked as soon as she woke up. She slept for too long and skipped her lunch. It was already 6 in the evening. She grabbed her phone and opened the message from Sana. Her heart was thumping from excitement.

'Hi Chaeyoung! I am free tonight. Where do you want to go?'

Chaeyoung decided to call Sana so that they can talk clearly about her plans for tonight.

"Hey Sana.. I am planning to take you out on a dinner"

"Sure! But may I ask what is this for?" Sana giggled.

"Uh.. Nothing. I just want say thanks in a formal way. And didn't you ask me if we can go out again?"

"Okay then! See you around 7 in the evening"

"Do you want me to pick you up?"

"Are you sure?!" Chaeyoung heard the excitement on her voice.

"Yes, why not? If you just don't mind"

"No I don't mind! In fact, I am so done with driving. It's so tiresome!"

"Okay, I'll pick you up at 7" Chaeyoung laugh because of Sana's cuteness.

"I'll just text you my address. See you!"

"See you later Sana" then she ended the call.

Chaeyoung went to the kitchen to eat a light meal. I'm really hungry! Then headed to her bathroom to take a shower. She decided to just wear a simple plain white shirt, jeans and her favorite sneakers.

As soon as she's done, she went to her car and drove to the address that Sana texted her. It's not too far and Chaeyoung was sure that she'll arrive on time.

Chaeyoung slowed down her car when her GPS told her that she will be arriving soon on her destination. From afar, she saw a tall girl that was already waiting outside a building. She drive again on her normal speed and stopped in front of what seems Sana's place.

Chaeyoung saw Sana walking to her car. It was wearing a black halter top, black high-waisted shorts, a boots and a long padded jacket. She's really hot as fuck.

Sana knocked on the passengers window and Chaeyoung opened the door. Sana hopped in and she started driving again.

"Thanks for taking me out for a dinner and for picking me up. You're the best date I've ever had" Sana chuckled.

"No problem. Besides, it's a pleasure picking up and having a dinner with a hot girl like you. Everyone doesn't have a chance to do so, you know?" Chaeyoung winked at Sana and they both laugh.

"Right! So where are you taking me?"

"Don't worry. You just need to relax because I've already planned everything" Chaeyoung smiled.

"Wow! You're really prepared huh. When did you plan all this?"

Chaeyoung blushed because of Sana's question. She's shy to let her know that she have just come up with all of this today.

"I-it's not important! But I'll assure you you'll gonna enjoy the food there"

"I'll look forward to it" Sana giggled.

They arrived at the restaurant. The guard opened the door for them and they were greeted by the receptionist.

"Reservation under Son Chaeyoung please"

The receptionist looked at a list and once he found it, he guided them to their seat.

"This way Ma'am"

Once they were seated, the waiter handed out the menu. After choosing, the waiter told them that it will take 20minutes to prepare the food. A wine was also served to keep them out of boredom while waiting.

"Do you like the place?" Chaeyoung asked while looking at Sana while drinking her wine.

"Yes, it's so fancy. And the food they offer, I think it'll suit my taste" Sana smiled at Chaeyoung.

"That's a relief" then she laughed.

The food they ordered was already served. They ate peacefully, thanks to the good ambiance of the restaurant. As soon as they were finished, they got out and went to Chaeyoung's car. She opened the door for Sana and run to the driver's side.

"Do you have a place in your mind that you want to go?" Chaeyoung asked before starting the engine.

Sana looked at her watch before answering.

"It's already 9 in the evening and it's getting really cold. I think it's better to just go home" she laughed. Chaeyoung nodded and started driving.

They arrived at Sana's place. Sana get her coat at the back seat. Once she get it, she turned to Chaeyoung.

"Thanks for tonight. I really enjoyed it" Sana smiled at her. The light from the streetlight gave a slight beam at Sana which made her more beautiful. What a really nice view.

"You're always welcome, Sana. I'm glad that you liked it" Chaeyoung smiled back.

Sana got out of the car and closed the door. Chaeyoung was about to start the engine but the door opened again.

"Uhm, Chaeyoung. Do you want to have a drink with me? Y-you can come inside"

She saw how Sana blushed. Her face was already red because of the cold but it became redder after what she said. Chaeyoung smiled at her and accepted the invitation. How can I decline it?!

They got inside Sana's pad. It was bigger than Chaeyoung's. Sana asked her to wait at the living room because she will just prepare their drinks. Chaeyoung sat on the couch and roamed her eyes around. She noticed how neat Sana is, she's just like Mina.

Chaeyoung shook her head when she realized that she suddenly think of Mina. Then she saw Sana coming holding two Vodka's in her hand.

"You're really a heavy drinker!" but Sana just laugh.

"Not really. Maybe my alcohol tolerance is just high"

"By the way, your place is really big. Are you sure you live alone here?"

Sana nodded. "Yes, I live alone here. But I used to have a roommate but she's uh, gone now"

Chaeyoung looked at Sana and that bitterly smile didn't escape her gaze. But she didn't bother to ask Sana about it because she know that Sana will just tell her about it if she's ready.

They started drinking while talking about anything. The living room was almost dark if not just because of the lampshade beside the couch. They started on getting tipsy. Chaeyoung glanced at Sana and she saw that its eyes looks like she was sleepy with her cheeks so red.

Chaeyoung stared too long and Sana seems to notice it. As soon as they locked eyes, Chaeyoung gulped when Sana starts to move closer to her. They were just inches apart, she saw how Sana looked at her lips and after that she felt a soft lip brushing into hers. Fuck! Sana is kissing me.

Chaeyoung got drunk with those soft kisses. She started to make it harsh because she's getting out of control. She bit Sana's lip that makes the girl also deepen the kiss. Their kiss lasted for long and they broke it to gasped for an air.

But then Sana suddenly stood up, held Chaeyoung's arm and dragged her to the bedroom. As soon as they entered, Sana pushed her to sit on the bed. Then Sana also sat on her and continued the kiss. Chaeyoung was trying to control herself but she felt so hot. She didn't know if it's because the air condition was not on, or the alcohol or because of Sana herself.

Chaeyoung can't take it anymore and started to remove Sana's top and the latter did the same to her. She was caressing Sana's back and as soon as her hands landed on it, she unclasped its bra. Chaeyoung broke the kiss to see Sana's bare upper body and its mountains that stood so proud.

"You're really fucking hot" Chaeyoung said out of awe with the view and claimed Sana's lips again.

Her hand were roaming around Sana's body and ended up on it. She starts to massage Sana's breasts with her two hands. Then she started encircling its nipples, she felt how it hardened that also makes Sana moan. Chaeyoung got it as a chance and slid her tongue on Sana's mouth. They were both going crazy because of the sensation that they were feeling.

"C-chaeyoung, please.." Sana begged. Then Chaeyoung hurriedly removed the last hindrance.

She didn't waste any chance then inserted two fingers at Sana. She was doing it faster and faster. Sana was moaning so loud and was clutching at Chaeyoung's back and the bed sheet.
