Chapter Text

"Y/n?! Y/n?! Y/n, where are you it isn't fair! If I can't find you it's not fair!!!" You stifled your giggles as he walked right under you yet again for the third time in a row. Yes, underneath you was the fur brained heir of Isildur, Aragorn, you had always been close especially now seeing as you were both the same age as each other. Arwen walked by him and smirked as she spotted you hanging from the ceiling and said,"Mellon, savdh tirbar?" (Friend, have you looked in the house?) He nods and says,"I can't find her Arwen, I want to tell her but I can't find her..." He walks over to the outdoor seat and says,"Y/n, If you can hear me, gi melin, mellonamin..." (I love you, my friend...)

Time skip to 13 years later brought to you by the magic of Rivendell

You sighed, it had been thirteen long years since you had ever stepped foot inside Rivendell, You walked through the hidden pass and sighed as you saw a familiar sight. You raced along the bridge and tackled Lord Lindir in a hug and said,"Aiya! Hîr vùin Lindir ned Imladris! Manen ingahd, mellonamin?" (Hail! Lord Lindir of Rivendell! How are you, my friend?) He smiles and says,"Nanyë... nanyë, nanyë uuhhh I am good..." (I am... I am, I am,) He is as bright as a rose from your hug and he cannot talk straight in elvish so he simplifies it and speaks in common. You giggle at his behavior and say,"Hir vuin Elrond?" You say as he walks up to Lindir who looks relived and Elrond says,"Lindir go get my children and Gilraeon, they will want to see Y/n..." Lindir nods and rushes back up the stairs gracefully and you sigh softly and the Lord of Imladris smiles and says,"Lindir? So that is who you ran away from..." You shake your head and see a dark brown mop of hair running towards you and you say,"Û, that is who I'm running from hîr vùin..." (No, that is who I'm running from my lord...) The dark haired teenage dunedain yells your name as he tackles you to the ground,"Y/n! It has been so long Y/n... Where did you go? Why do you wince when I touch your side? Are you hurt? Mellon speak!" You laughs and stop laughing only to end up coughing heavily and then you open your hand and close it quickly smiling to the boy and nodding to Elrond then racing off to find your room. You hear footsteps and your name being called by Aragorn as he chases after you. "Y/n, wait! Please mellonin! Stop" You freeze and turn to him and pale then whisper," I am deathly sick melonin... I sorry I did not return sooner I could have spared you from your sorrow..." He froze and then pulled you into his arms and kisses your forehead gently and whispers, "I love you, no matter what fresh hell we go through I will always come back to you and love you like no one else. Lord Elrond can save you, I know he can..."

timeskip to when you both turn 25 you're still ill but bit deathly sick brought to you by Galadriel murdering Sauruman

You woke up and smiled and kissed Aragorn's forehead and felt him stir under your lips and smiled as you pull away. "Hello melin, how are you feeling?" He asks and you smile and say happily,"I am well for once I'm excited!" He leaps from the bed still in his nightwear and picks you up and spins you in the air laughing and kissing your face all over. He sets you down and you both get ready to walk through Rivendell when he suddenly hears the horn of attack and grabs his sword and kisses you quickly and races off to fight the orcs. You hide in your closet with your elven dagger and stay silent as you hear a heathen enter your room and start rummaging around the room looking for something, when the heathen opens the door you react and slice Aragon's cheek lightly and you gasp. "Mela, You scared me! I'm sorry." He smiles and kisses you softly and then pulls you close and whispers deeply,"im glad you can defend yourself mela... Not every woman can and it scares me to think of what could of happened to your gorgeous soul had I lost you..."

time skip to when you turn sixty eight brought to you by Eomer with Karl Urbans real accent *melts at that gorgeous voice* aaaah

"Mela..." You called out weakly, holding your stomach in anguish as you felt your stomach split because of an Elvish blade. "Gi melin, Aragorn ion nin ned Arathorn... Forgive me..." (I love you, Aragorn son of Arathorn...) Your last words rang softly to his ears and he shouted in anger as he was held back by a glass eyed Legolas who watched you bleed out onto the oaken floor of the wood elf Thranduil's palace.

Thranduil smirks as he watches in vain as you reach for your lover and Legolas let's him go and you gasp in pain as he lifts you from the floor. "Mela! Mela, mela, û! aîl hir vuin û!" (Love! Love, love, no! Oh my lord no!) He sat there cradling you as your soul and blood poured from your lifeless body.

Chapter 2: Under The Willow Tree - Merry

Chapter Text

Your Pov

You were inside your house and getting ready to go to the market when you heard your mother yell,"Y/n! Why don't you stock up your tree house as well so you stop raiding the pantry!" You smiled and yelled back to her,"How do you know about that Ma?!" She walks into the kitchen and says,"Because a mother always knows what her children are up to... And because after every time you come home from there there are willow leaves throughout the house, dear... Okay so you need..." She starts listing the ingredients for the entire pantry and says,"You know what you can use the cart... Just stock up your ruddy tree house sweetie!" You raced out of the hobbit hole and yelled back to your mother,"Alright MA! I GET IT Restock god!"

You hear her laugh loudly and you groan in anger then leap over the fence behind your yard and straight into your barn area and smile and say to the old pony named Bill,"Hello Bill... How are you?" He whinnies in return and you start to saddle him up when you see Merry and Pippin race by with vegetables in their arms and you sigh as Farmer Maggot races after them in anger. That's one thing you like about Merry and Pippin, they get into loads of trouble even when they're not trying to.

You lead Bill out and say,"Good morning Mr. Baggins! Lovely day isn't it?" He nods and starts to walk with me and asks,"So, when are you going to tell Merry about the... Ya know... Feelings?" You blushed and Frodo laughs at you in a friendly, brother-ish way then you interrupt and say,"Must you always ask, Frodo? I will not tell him even if it is the last thing I do!" Frodo flinches back and you back away and say,"Oh, oh no... My tree! They're headed towards my tree!" You hand Frodo your shopping list and say,"Could you get that for me, Frodo? Thanks!"

As you race off to see Farmer Maggot yelling upwards at your tree and you say,"Farmer Maggot? Are you okay? You're yelling at a tree with no people in it..." He turns to you and says,"Took! Brandybuck! Stole me crops they did!" You nodded with understanding as the boys took any food they could from Maggot's farm and your Mushroom patch then say,"I understand, Merry and Pippin have been stealing from MY mushroom patch as well... I wish they'd stop stealing from you, but you just can't yell at them! They aren't even here for heavens sake Farmer Maggot!" Maggot looks at you with wide eyes and then nods and busily walks away, seeing you mad was the least thing anyone wanted knowing you had an explosive temper.

You hear a gasp and a faint voice saying,"Pip! I knew you didn't find those mushrooms!" Then you hear Pippin say,"Aye! And they were good too!" "Pip! They were hers! Did ya have to steal them?!" You sigh angrily and climb up the trunk of the tree and glare at what you see. One very flustered Meriadoc Brandybuck and a dreamy Peregrin Took, Merry looked at you and gasped your name aloud,"Y/n! Hiii... Pip! Tell her what you did!" Pippin looks at you and says dreamily,"I took your mushrooms, boy they were good! How did ya make em grow like that? I've never had such good mushrooms before!" You glared at him clearly unimpressed and then turned to Merry who physically was shaking because he knew you had a short fuse and so he said,"I see you coming here every day, I had no idea you had a house up here! I'm sorry I shouldn't be watching you it's just..." Pippin covers Merry's mouth making your attention snaps to him again and you ask angrily,"It's just What Merry? Oh wait I'll ask Pippin instead..." Pippin smiles and whispers something to Merry and you just sigh angrily and finish climbing up and start throwing out the vegetables they grabbed. "No... More... Hiding... In... MY... Tree house!!!" Merry freezes and mumbles behind Pippins hand,"Im fink wur pwewwy!" He glares at Pippin and then Pippin removes his hand and Merry starts climbing down the tree leaving you to wonder What did he say???

* time skip to a week later brought to you by Legolas shooting Thorin in the butt!* XD YW for that image

You were sat in your tree staring at the sunlight through the slats in the roof when you heard light feet on the trunk and pulled out the dagger merry had given to you when he came back from his adventure. You gasped as you saw an elf staring back at you and he smiled and said,"You must be the girl Merry looks for... I am Legolas of Mirkwood and I have come to bring you a gift from the elves..."

You giggled and said,"Your one of Merry's friends I think he's trying to give me everything he can, just to get on my good side... Ughh to be perfectly honest, I'm getting sick of it..." You heard a faint choked gasp and thought it was a bird but then the elf lets out a sigh and says,"You know he tries so hard to find a girl and she rejects him... Ouch that's harsh..." You gawk at him and whisper,"It's not like i don't care for Merry its I just don't..." You sigh and continue,"I love him, I really do but! OH You can not tell him I said this but... I want to give him so many children he won't remember what I look like..." You gasped out the last part and clutched your mouth in shock, You never had told anyone that and you let it slip to an elf a freaking elf what the heck!

You gasped as the elf smiled and said,"You have my word, hiril vuin I will not tell a soul..."You blush and say,"Not even Merry?" He smiles and says,"Not even Merry..." You smiled widely and said,"Okay now will you give me his gift?" Legolas the elf smiles and pulls out a crown made of red jewels and a silvery substance and says,"The crown of the lady of hobbits... The crown of ruby and silver steel..." You gasp and mutter,"Mithril?! Really Merry? Oh my is this from the dwarf down there too?" Legolas laughs and says,"No this is not from me this is from that dwarf and his name is Gimli son of Gloin..." You perk up and say,"Bilbo's Gloin? The banker?! Oi! Gimli was your Da a banker?!" He nods and you laugh and say,"I knew Bilbo's stories were real!" Gimli chuckles and says,"Aye lass, Bilbo's stories are real... And so are Frodo's" You giggle and say,"Thanks for the gift lord Gimli, I really like it!" He smiles and starts to walk away when Merry goes running by all red faced and you gasp and look quizzically after him.

Legolas laughs lightly muttering,"Aragorn... Why now?" You look at him and ask,"who's Aragorn? and was that his doing?" Legolas pales and says,"You heard that?" You nod and say,"My mother swears I'm at least half elf, I can hear a lot of things most hobbits can't... " He smiled softly and said,"Ah I understand... But anyway here is your gift..." He hands you a lovely elven blade long enough to be a sword to a hobbit and you blush saying, "Oh god, Merry why did you have to give me a sword?!"

Time skip brought to you by Thranduil's amazing stature on that throne OMG HALF LAYING ON IT AND HE STILL LOOKS HOT! *Ahem* Sorry I like Thranduil a lot

You sat quietly admiring the elven blade when suddenly a hobbit-like voice called up to you, "Y/n! Is Merry up there or do you know where he is?" You looked down and saw Frodo, Sam, and Pippin smiling and you glanced up slightly in the tree and saw Merry smiling at you holding up a finger and then you craned your neck up and yelled, "Merry, The guys want to talk to you so come down please!" He didn't move at all, You heard rustling and saw the elf Legolas climbing down and smiled and said to the guys, "He'll be right down just get ready to leave guys!" They all nodded and turned away only to be pounced upon by a dirty blonde haired man, He looks a lot like how Merry and Pip described Boromir... Maybe HE is Faramir... He's very cute but not as cute as Merry... He started laughing and said, "Hello Pippin, Frodo, and Sam, how are you all?" You smiled as Merry came across the branch and slipped into your tree house unnoticed by the other hobbits and you asked, "What was that?!" Merry smiles and says, "That was a decoy for me to ask you a question... Will you be my date tonight at the Green Dragon?" Your eyes lit up and you blushed and nodded vigorously and squealed, "There is no way in Middle Earth I wouldn't possibly go with you to the Green Dragon as your date!" You flung your arms around his neck and snuggled your head into his neck and said normally, "Of course I'll go Merry... I have a question for you though... Will you be my boyfriend?" You screwed your eyes shut and held your breath and he said, "Y/n I'd love to be your boyfriend, Now lets surprise my cousin!" You opened your eyes and gawked at him and said, "Did you just accept my question?" He nods and says,"Shut up and kiss me..." You instantly shut up as his soft lips touched yours you gasped softly and melted into the kiss..

Time skip to the date cause im Lazy AF

We walked into the Green Dragon and I lit up instantly as soon as I saw Rosie talking to a blushing Sam. I pointed it out to Merry and he smiled and said,"Would ya like to dance?" I nodded and he pulled me out into the dance floor and we danced for the rest of the night and on into the early hours of the morning...

Chapter 3: Never Forget - Frodo Baggins

Chapter Text

Your POV

You saw the firework dragon fly towards Frodo and Bilbo and froze and then watched as it exploded off in the distance over the river and started giggling. Frodo watched you laugh and you blushed as you caught his eye. As you waved he got pushed into you by Samwise Gamgee you booth fell over and you saw Rosie Cottontail laughing with Sam. "I- uhhh hello Frodo... How are you dear cousin?" He blushed and said softly, "I'm good thank you cousin Y/n, how are you?" You smiled and said with equal sincerity, "I'm good well I'm going to smack Rosie when I get my hands on her!" He gently pushed off the ground and sat up and stood up and helped you up blushing. He smiled and said sweetly, "Would you care to dance with me?" You nod and blush as he leads you out onto the dance floor and you begin dancing with him. You two made small talk throughout the night and by the end of the party you were both drunker then even the drunkest dwarves either of you knew. He walks up to you and pins you against your door and begins to whisper, "You're gorgeous Y/n, did you know that?" You could smell the alcohol in his breath and you backed up uncomfortable. "Frodo you're drunk go home..." He smiles and gently pecks your cheek delicately and sighs, "Oh alright Y/n goodnight!" He yells as he walks off leaving you stunned out of your mind as you walk inside your house and get ready for bed.

Come the morning you wake to hear noise in your home, cautiously rising from the bed you reach for a walking stick by your room's door and creep out silently into the hall. The sounds of a kettle just beginning to whistle reach your ears. A soft humming tumbles through the halls as you creep upon the intruder in your home. As you round into the kitchen you find none other than Frodo Baggins stood in the kitchen making breakfast for what you could only assume was the two of you. Quickly leaning the stick to the rack it should be on you walk in rubbing your eyes softly. As a yawn escapes you and sounds more like a sigh Frodo turns sharply and nearly drops your grandmothers teapot in his surprise. "Oh Y/n! Drat, i was going to surprise you with a lovely meal. I apologize if you didn't hear me come in last night, you forgot your handkerchief."

Much to your flustered chagrin he holds out your kerchief to you with a soft grin and a coy lilt to his voice. "Tis improper for a lady to be without her kerchief so early madam." Rolling your eyes with a polite grin and a teasing sigh. "Oh good heavens my dear Sir! I must have dropped it at the party last night." He laughs joyously and passes it to you with a simple. "Indeed my Lady." Somber silence follows suit of our laughter and shenanigans. As a burning scent crosses the both of you Frodo starts and scurries off to fix the breakfast before its completely ruined. He manages to save the bacon and eggs benedict in the nick of time and you go to set the table for two and smile happily at the occurrence of his gentle comforting presence. "Y/n, Would you like juice?" Grinning with your back to him you nod and softly start humming the lullaby your mother taught you many years ago. He settles the plated food down moments later and says softly. "I do apologize for my rash behavior last night Y/n. I should not have gone in to kiss you, let alone your cheek. It was rather impolite of me." You shoot up a look at him and sigh tenderly. "Frodo, I didn't mind it honestly. I'd rather try a date first but I'll accept what I received." He blushes at the words you speak and busts a huge grin and giddily replies. "Well then I'll set up a walk this evening. Would that appease your need for a date?" Laughing you smile and nod, leaning over the table and planting a kiss to his cheek. "It would indeed Frodo, now come along and eat breakfast before it chills itself."

Chapter 4: Last Kin - Thranduil

Notes:

Most of the elvish in the early parts is the language of the drow people and is a combo of high elvish and normal elvish. And its pronounced how it looks btw

Chapter Text

Seraphina's POV
*Flashback*

I raced away from the home I had known since I was but a twenty year old elfling. Why was I running instead of fighting you ask? You see, I am injured and cannot fight for much longer. To make matters even worse I am the last princess of the drow elves. In simpler terms I am the lone survivor of my kinds extinction, it all starts naught but six hours ago...

Six Hours Earlier...

I was walking through the halls of my mother and father and smiled to myself when I heard the horns bellowing as an attack happened at the gates. I raced to the throne room to find my mother and father looking worriedly at me. "Eiîn loth nìn naneth? Eiîn loth nìn ada?" (What is it mother? What is it father?) "Iell nìn, totheiel Seraphina noro Iel Imladris!" My father exclaims to me as he runs off to fight with the guard. (Daughter of mine, I beseech you Seraphina run to Rivendell!)

I nodded and raced off to my room and packed what I needed and raced to the stables in my guardsmen clothes and raced to my horse. As I raced from my home within ten minutes I was being shot at constantly by orcs. As I raced down the countryside towards the elven path's gate I gasped as I raced through the dark forest towards Thranduil.

Five hours later I was approaching the halls of king Thranduil, my childhood friend. As I approached the gates of Thranduil's halls, on foot as my horse had touched the river of sleep, I smile and announce to the guardsmen and a blonde haired elf, "I am princess Seraphina Wanda of the Grey mountains dark elves and I come to seek out Thranduil's council and aid..."

The blonde elf nods and the guards let me pass and he miles softly and says,"My father talks of you very fondly hìril vuìn Seraphina... I am Legolas Thranduillion."(Lady Seraphina) I smile at him and blush lightly, "Thranduil has always found me as a topic of interest. As I am his oldest friend."

As we approached the throne room I smiled as I saw the tall platinum haired ellon I played with when we were but fifteen years old. As he turns around he curses in my tongue,"Arabathad iothelîtka Legolas ìdrilriel nanorethiket nialethtra!" (The spiders of the north shall not pass into my lands Legolas' warriors will defeat those monstrous beasts no matter what!) I smirk as Legolas looks confused and says softly,"Adar, Hìrîl vuìn Seraphina Wanda of the Grey Mountains tribe of Dark Elves..."(Father, Lady Seraphina) Thranduil looked up and opened his eyes faster than I ever thought he could and smiled. "Seraphina? What is the occasion upon which you visit me for?" I looked down and a tear slipped down my pale flesh skinned cheek and said softly,"All of my kin are destroyed by orcs and I seek refuge with you as I know not where else to go..."

He nods and says"Guards, Legolas, tale your leave of me all of you!" As the guards scurry off with Legolas I looked up to my friend and said,"Mellon, ishketh nanuuoli imlaria..." (Friend, he is your son... Not your servant...) Thranduil looks at me and sighs," Imria naneth shiekal eeanochh ferila, embaar iieal noroth niayeng..." (I know- but ever since his mother died I have died everyday since...)

I look into his cold ice blue eyes and then pull him into a soft hug and kiss his temple soothingly as he collapses into me I feel his face and run my fingers across the wound he has hidden with magic. "Mellon, aradia naleth dothir gieen karinelleth..." (My friend, you will always have an elleth to lean upon as a lover just say the words and I will reply...)

He looked up into my fiery red eyes and said serenely,"Seraphina, will you give me the pleasure of being with me at dinner?" I smiled knowing we would be catching up and nodded gently,"Yes Lord Thranduil, I would be honored to..."

As I was getting ready I heard a noise and called out,"Arialeth imladra?!" (Who is out there?) The noise happens again and a voice that is familliar calls out,"Seraphina, did you could escape me so easily?" I saw Tauriel enter the bathing room and I blushed a bright pink and exclaimed,"Tauriel! How are you mellonamin?"(my friend) "I am better now that you are here mellon, I wish I could say the same about my king but he is slowly going mad with grief as you noticed I'm sure."

I nod and she looks a little sad and continues smiling,"Now let's do something with your hair!" She picks up a bottle and gently pours a generous amount of the cherry red liquid into my white hair as I shiver she starts scrubbing it into my hair. "So how was your trip hiril vuin?" I froze and whispered," Tauriel, I came because my people were decimated not for a pleasure trip. Though I would have loved it had it been a pleasure trip." Her turn to freeze up she sighed,"Orcs?" "Ai"(yes) She lets out an agitated huff and continues to wash my hair and as soon as she's finished she says,"You can wash your hair and get out hiril vuin."

I nod and wash my hair amd climb out as I pull the plug on the drain. As I dry myself off I catch a glimpse of my hair and see that it is all sorts of fiery colors and I laugh as I exit the room to see a gorgeous forest green dress laying in wait for me. I smile softly and look at my pale skin and see it is a pale flesh tone and giggle then put the dress on and call for aid, "Hiril vuin? What is it? What can I help you with?" Tauriel calls out.

I turn to see Legolas with Tauriel the both of them gawking at my looks. "I need aid with getting my dress and hair done." "Aì, hîrìl vuîn." They both reply. Legolas helps me with my dress as Tauriel helps with my hair and soon I look like the queen did once. I smiled softly and say,"Awennohein Legolas..." (Leave please Legolas...) He nods and Tauriel squeals like a proud mother and I chuckle slightly at her childish manner and she glares daggers at me and efficiently silences me.

"Hîrîl vuîn, naasheik, namthor ieth allion." She says. (My lady, silence, I am pleased that you look amazing.) I blush at the comment and say,"Come escort me to the king Tauriel." She smiles and says,"With pleasure my lady. Come follow me please..."

I follow her through the winding paths of the hall and finally after what seems like an eternity we reach the dining hall. I look up to see Thranduil in his best silks and watch as he heaves a sigh as he turns around he looks surprised and I blush.

Thranduil's Pov

I turned around and gasped softly as I saw Seraphina in a gorgeous green dress that complimented her skin and eyes not to mention the firey ginger her pale hair had become from its once white state. In a mortals words, she was breathtaking, I couldn't help but be surprised at her gorgeous features.

"Nanye imrala eeaoth Seraphina."(I am surprised my dear one this is fancy even for you Seraphina.) I ask slightly breathless and nervous. What am I feeling? Could this be love? Do I love my best friend? Why wouldnt you love her? Good point. I saw her smile and heard her soft bell like laugh and nearly fell to my knees as she answered.

"Iimloth shei oroth nuyali Thranduil..." (I am surprised because you seem to be wavering in strength Thranduil...) I nearly scoffed but it came out as a chuckling laugh and a smile. What is wrong with me?!

I saw Tauriel and nod for her to leave and as she does so I walk up to Seraphina and smile at her blossoming blush. I gently caressed her soft right cheek and bit the inside of my lip as I looked into those swirling fire like eyes. Oh illûvitar I'm in love with her... Her eyes draw me in like whirlpools, I can't even begin to describe how her soft looking plump lips make me feel... I can't resist her soft hair. She drives me insane! I let out a breath as I gently let my hand slips from her cheek and to my side.

"Seraphina, Amreth il naneth i Legolas?" (Will you be like a mother to Legolas?) I ask as I turn away, stupidly knowing she will say no. "Ai, Thranduil amreth il naneth i Legolas." (Yes, Thranduil I will be a mother to him.) I look back to her in shock and ask,"Eihl?!" (Really?!) "AI!" (Yes!) I smile and pull her into my chest as she gasps and laughs I chuckle and whisper in her ear,"Illûvitar, Seraphina inali nareth ithar melin..." (God, you look gorgeous my love...)

I watched her bury her face into my chest and i smiled softly and kissed the crown of her head and nuzzled her into my body and hugged her close. "This is stupid but gi melin Seraphina... Gi melin..." (I love you... I love you)

Seraphina's Pov

I looked up into Thranduil's piercing ice blue eyes and say,"Ne loth i darthathar Thranduil." (It is not stupid Thranduil.) I glance at his lips and then say,"Nereth il gi melin Thranduil..." (It is not true because I love you Thranduil...) He gasps in surprise and then his walls shore up and he stiffens and says,"We must eat Seraphina please, tell no one of what I have said tonight... But now you must tell me what has happened to your kin." I nod and sit down and begin to tell the tale.

Two hours later...

I had just finished recounting my tale when I look to Thranduil and he has a look of the utmost shock upon his worried features. "Thranduil? Are you alright my lord?" His gaze snaps back into focus and he smiles and nods. "Yes Seraphina, I am fine. Just angry with the orcs who have slain your kin. They should be slain for their crimes but it is out of my homeland I am sorry I cannot help you anymore than letting you stay in my kingdom." He says. I smiled and nodded in relief that he would not throw me out of his kingdom. "Of course my lord, it is the least you can do to aid me in my troubles. Thank you Thranduil... Gi melin hìrîl vuîn... Goodnight..." (I love you my lord...) I say smiling as I walk away and slip into my room with one last glance at a smiling king I shut my door and find a smirking Legolas and a giddy Tauriel and I nearly shriek. "Tauriel, what do you want?!" I say almost sternly. She smiles and Legolas chuckles at her smile and watches as she bounces up and down and asks me what happened with the king. As I tell her I watch as a shadow leaves the doorway and so I smile softly and Legolas asks,"What is it Naneth?" I turn red at him saying that and say quizzically,"Why did you call me that Legolas?" He shrugs lightly and says,"It just feels right, I should probalbly leave my father will come gushing to me about you." I smile and nod to him as he leaves. I turn to Tauriel and tell her about the night and how gentle Thranduil treated me. She giggles and says,"Seraphina, iem nithali toth."(Seraphina, it is late i must sleep goodnight) "Inali Roth, Tauriel..." (Go sleep, Tauriel)

When I woke up I saw blonde hair next to my face and gasped as I saw a sleeping king laying across my stomach. I blushed and tried to breathe normally but I was failing so I gently prodded the slumbering ellon who awoke with a start. "Seraphina! I am sorry I just could not sleep alone this night." It was Thranduil and he is Shirtless?! Oh Illûvitar thats amazing to look at... I blush and hear him say,"Seraphina? Are you alright?" I snapped out of my thoughts and nodded not trusting my voice. "Ai hir vuîn..." He smiles and says softly,"Like what you see?" I blush and bite my lower lip and nod vigorously (You have no idea how hard it was to resist typing Viggoroisly... XD puuuns) He chuckles softly and his cheeks turn a very faint shade of pink as I sit up in my lovely pale green night dress and smile softly. "Irathna narali noth kagare Thranduil?"(Like what you see Thranduil?) He smirks and says," Imreth alari noth Seraphina..." (You'd be surprised Seraphina...) He sits up and slides from the bed without a care for me seeing him only in a thin nightwear outfit and his hair loose upon his head. I sat up and slipped from the bed and said,"Arathar nali nereth maayali, Thranduil."(I'm going to go back to my room, see you later, Thranduil.) He nods and says, "Ai, Maayali Seraphina." (Alright see you later, Seraphina.)

As I approached my room I heard Legolas laughing along with Tauriel, I slipped into my room unnoticed by either of them and cleared my throat as loud as I could. They spun around and their eyes widened as they saw me and Legolas turns a light pink and Tauriel turns a dark pink. "Hiril vuin Seraphina..." (My lady Seraphina...) I snort softly and then go to my washroom and clean up then race from the room and towards the throne room towards Thranduil.

Timeskip a few minutes cause Authour-chan is lazy

I raced into the throne room and saw Thranduil standing there looking absoloutely glorious in his silver green robes and smiled at him then heard a couple of elves racing towards us in panic. I spun on my heels and saw Tauriel and Nimloth covered in black and red blood. "Tauriel! Nimloth! Auoorial neatholi naritea?!" (Tauriel! Nimloth! What happened to you and the guard?!) "Half of the guard was slain battling Urukhai and Orcs, I'm sorry to say this my lord." I took a glance at Thranduil who looked steeled against this news and then raced off towards the gates. As I burst through the gates I drew my elven knives and saw Urukhai and Orcs fighting Elves and joined in the fray.

*Ten mins later*

I was facing three orcs and five Urukhai and was loosing very badly, as I slit the orcs' throats I felt three swords lodge themselves into my body in my legs, side and back and screamed in agony. I fell unconscious, I don't think I've woken up yet, Let alone I heard Thranduil scream my name as I fell to the ground bleeding out...

*A few years later (Its only three don't worry)*

Third person POV

She woke up to the sun shining in her eyes and a gaunt looking Thranduil laying asleep next to her. She gently tapped his shoulder and he's up in an instant and looking into her fiery eyes with love, then he gently kisses her and she sighs into the kiss softly. "Thranduil, gi melin..." (I love you, Thranduil...) He smiles and kisses her again and then lays down next to me smiling softly. She hears him chuckle softly and then say," You're not dreaming by the way, my love..." He sits up and smiles and says,"I know I'm not..." "I'm hungry... Can you help me get up and eat mela?" (love?) He nods and gets up from the bed and then walks around it and lifts her from the bed and kisses her forehead gently and takes her to the kitchens to get some food. They walk in and the kitchen freezes until he nods and then there's a roll in her hand and she's eating it faster than he expected. She blushes and then kisses the king's cheek and watches as his cheeks fill with a light pink and then he kisses her yet again.

After the period of time that Seraphina healed and gained mass Thranduil had gotten better as well. He had proposed last week and Seraphina was ecstatic. Her gorgeous ivory dress flowed around her like silky water as she walked towards the king. His blue eyes sparkling as he sees the fire eyed and haired elleth walking towards himself. As Legolas hand his soon to be wife to his own father he smiles and walks to Tauriel and kisses her cheek. As Seraphina faces Thranduil the Priest drones on and on they say their vows and I do's and then they kiss, a sweet soft passionate kiss that lasts for the rest of Middle Earth's longevity.

Chapter Text

2nd person Pov

You woke up to the sound of horses and a yawning ellon as the sun rose. Here's the thing you were one of the high ladies of Rivendell aka Lindir's eldest sister (same age as him). You and your company of Lindir, Arwen and the lord of Rivendell Elrond. Where you were headed was the highly esteemed Mirkwood, the place of the forest elves. You were to be wed to Legolas Thranduillion, the one and only heir to the throne of Mirkwood. The problem is, you don't really know the kings' son very well and didn't really care for him to be blunt and obvious. He seemed snooty and very prone to fighting for his life, and you dont really like violence much. You were more peaceful than most elleths when it came to fighting. Illuvitar knew you hated fighting especially if there was no purpose to it. You always were the peaceful one in your not so small family consisting of your adar, naneth, Lindir, and your three younger sisters and youngest brother. Lindir was the closest sibling to you as you were about two years apart in human years. He was always at your side even when you wanted to push him off of the Rivendell falls.

You sat up in your seat and then looked out the window and chuckled softly as you saw a softly snoring Lindir leaning upon the carriage and on the horse as well.

"Lindir, wake up munidor..."

He woke up startled then turned and saw you smirking and sighed softly.

"Hello muinthel..."

You smile slowly widens and he smiles fully, then you giggle softly.

"Muindor, your hair" (Brother- Munidor, Sister- Muinthiel)

He blushes faintly and smiles soft and nervously.

"Thanks muinthiel..."

You smiled fully and blushed furiously as he cleaned your cheek with a little water that he had dabbed his thumb into gently.

"Stooop, Lindir... It's embarrassing..."

He smiled softly and whispered to you.

"How so muinthiel? I am just making sure you look your best."

You sighed softly and shaking your head softly.

The elven gate stood before the carriage and you saw the carving of Thranduil's lover and wife Elerrian, in all her gorgeous splendor standing at the edge of the Mirkwood in front of the elven path gate. You sighed softly as you knew Thranduil was not pleased with the Noldor setting foot in his Greenwood. And yet, here we stand, on the border between the west and Greenwood the great, about to meet my fate, Legolas Greenleaf, possibly the best and worst pairing in Middle Earth... You sighed again and stepped from the carriage and got onto your white horse and walked along slowly over the elven path towards the halls of Thranduil son of Oropher.

The first thing you noticed when you walked into the elvenking's halls was the distinct lack of the king greeting you himself. Slightly disappointed you followed the young red haired elleth named Tauriel who seemed irritated by your beauty. She led you to the throne area where you saw a beautiful ellon standing to the side of the King and King Thranduil sitting upon his wooden throne. You bowed gracefully and dared not look the lórinand king in the eyes, lest you meet your fateful ensnarement by those piercing blues of his. He whispers to the Blond ellon next to him who seems to be enamoured with you and conflicted about what his father said as he walks to you, takes your hand gently, and draws it to his lips, leaving a gentle kiss to the back of your hand.

"Legolas, would you be so kind as to lead hiril vuin Y/n to her chambers to retire, as she seems to be weary of her travels."

"Ai ada... Hiril Vuin Y/n, sen lend." (Yes father... My lady Y/n, this way)

Nodding gently your fair features beginning to tire at the amount of travel you've done and you begin to droop as he starts to turn away and then looks worried and catches you as you begin to fall, feeling faint. His worried blue eyes are the last thing you see before your world fade into darkness.

General Pov

When I woke up I found a worried ellon next to me, his strong shoulders, beautiful eyes, and platinum blonde hair made me wonder who he was, as I knew he wasn't the king himself.

"Wh-where am I?"

"In my room, I did not wish for you to have the usual room for guests, so I am taking that room for your stay here. Is that alright with you?"

I nod gently confused at how he talks so gently with me, he seems to be of sindar heritage and yet he treats me like I am above him... Who is this ellon? If he treats me as such a queen why does Arwen smile at me so? Why does Lindir look furious with me? Where in Eru's name is Lord Elrond? The ellon looks a tiny bit panicked as I try to rise from the bed which is extremely soft feeling.

"No- no please, do not rise, you are still faint and weak... I wish you not to get hurt..."

I looked at him and nod softly and let his gentle but strong hands lay me back down and gently pry my hair from it's restraining braids smiling as my soaked dark dirt brown hair flows all over the pillows. He lets out a little breath of air and smiles at the sight of how beautifully radient I must look.

"Your beauty is unparralelled even by elven standards hiril vuin..."

I felt my cheeks heat the tiniest bit and Lindir looks even mor murderous than befor and says politely but curtly nonetheless.

"Hir vuin, please, my sister needs her rest, leave her be so she can..."

The blonde ellon looks at me with confusion but then looks at Lindir in confusion but nods.

"Agreed, forgive my petulance hiril vuin..."

I look at him with a look that simply explains my confusion and the ellon leans over me and kisses my forehead tenderly. He begins to sing a song of Elladain and Elrohir and I drift off into a peaceful slumber.

Many hours later...

I awoke to the sight of Lindir pacing near the door in different dress from when I last remembered him.

"Munidor? What is wrong?"

His panicked hazel eyes lock on my bright blues and he breathes a sigh of relief and rushes to my side and cups my face. He mutters about him freaking out over nothing when he knew I'd rouse from my slumber. He finishes checking me over and says softly in a gentle tone.

"Munthiel, what is the last thing you remember?"

I thought about it a bit and then remembered the blonde ellon looking at me tenderly with worry in his eyes.

"An ellon telling me that this room was to be mine for our stay here... Who was he Lindir?"

"Munthiel, that ellon is Legolas Thranduillion...."

I feel myself pale and look at him as if he is joking and he shakes his head gently as I gently tremble against the sheets. My first action is to leap from the bed and rush to the bathroom and vomit out of pure nervousness and hear the door to the room open and hear the familliar harmonious voice of Prince Legolas.

"How is she- Where did she go?"

I hear some shuffling and I accidentally vomit making all other sounds irrelevant as I feel terrible because I know that both my brother and the prince can hear my awful noises. To my surprise I feel tender, strong, lithe fingers rubbing my back and peeling my hair from my view and I hear much to my discomfort that it's Legolas and he's found me in a vulnerable position.

"H-hir vuin... Wh-what are you?"

I pause and end up throwing up a bit more before I hear some elvish words and I feel a lot better and don't feel like throwing up violently. He gently cups my face and whispers to me quietly.

"I am worried about you hiril vuin..."

"Why?"

He smiles at me and says softly in a hushed tone.

"Because you are beautiful my lady."

I felt my cheeks heat up and he smiles at me tenderly and murmurs rubbing his thumb across my cheek. How could he think me beautiful? I am strange and act like a human girl more than an elleth. The gentle touch of his thumb brushing my high cheekbone makes me shiver gently at the touch.

"Hir vuin-"

"Do not call me that- I am Legolas- and I wish to prove to you that you are an elleth of unspeakable beauty."

The soft blush upon my cheeks made him peck the flushed skin tenderly and cup my jaw gently. I had a feeling this would not be the last time he would do this simple little gesture.

Chapter 6: Apologies - Ori

Chapter Text

You swear whenever you bump into Ori you always get an apology even if it was all your fault. Let's take Rivendell for example, as the dwarves undressed to bathe in the fountains you tripped and fell into Ori. And being as shy as he is around females of any race he instantly turned red in the cheek and stuttered out to you.

"Oh- oh my- my apologies Miss Y/n, I- I didn't mean to..."

"No, no Master dwarf it was my fault, I promise."

"But still, my apologies, I meant no disrespect towards you, I didn't know you wanted to join us all.."

At that statement your cheeks flame with a blush as you imagine your hobbit self with a group of male dwarves, who are naked. And a few of the dwarrow chuckle at your rosy blush as Ori blushes almost equally as bright as you.

"The lassie isn't the type ta join us laddie, she's a blushing more than a pink flower in spring!"

Bofur chuckles as you in defense of yourself, find yourself shouting in defiance.

"If that's what you think Master dwarf, I daresay I'll join you all!"

That draws Bilbo's wide shocked eyes to you as he stutters out in protest weakly and you start undoing your corset in front of all of the dwarrow. Your cousin rushes off utterly wanting to respect your privacy and slightly mortified at the thought of you alone with males of any race.

"Lassie, ye don't have te, I was jus' pullin' yer leg.."

With a soft blush you look at Bofur and smile softly.

"If I'm to be with a rowdy group of dwarves I expect myself to get accustomed to males of any species staring at my body, Master Bofur."

Out of the corner of your eye you spot Nori grinning wickedly and you know he's up to something. Ori blushes as he sees your chest settle down against your gentle curve of a belly and you hear him squeak. As you quickly finish undressing you hear all of the noise from the dwarrow halt as all but Dori, Balin, Bofur, Bombur, and Oin stare in shock at your rather dwarrowdam like physique.

"Oh what, have none of you seen a woman before?"

Balin chuckles softly and hides your body from his sight and says to you,

"Lass, ladies in our kind are rather rare, and don't eh, have as well a bodily proportion as you do."

As you blush you hear Nori giggle as he rushes up to you and goes to touch you but Ori shoves him over and into the fountain still partly clothed. Shocked you look to the young dwarrow and flush as he closes his eyes but bows to you.

"Forgive me Miss, I just knew his ill-mannered intentions.."

Letting out a light laugh you cup his cheek and peck his cheek softly and whisper in thanks to him.

"My humblest thanks Master Ori, I highly appreciate your saving me.."

You see his brilliant blush spread across his face as Dori seems shocked. As you go to the fountain and slip in under a flowing area, sitting there wrapping an arm around your bust as the dwarves still watch you in shock. Although after a few seconds they all return to removing their clothes and leaping into the fountain and start splashing about laughing and playing about happily.

Although when a shy Ori approaches you with a small smile he asks,

"Miss Y/n, I have a question about your folk.."

You smile at him and hum softly as he begins again timid and slightly anxious.

"How do Hobbits uhm... Court?"

The word opens one of your eyes and you look to him shyly and you mutter softly.

"Courting? It's usually arranged marriages by family members, but in occasional circumstances it can be done with just the Lass, or Lad's agreement. Why?"

He smiles happily and says softly in excitement,

"So do you know how dwarves court? Or can I show you?"

Your blush and grin as you have read up on what the dwarves courting was said to be and you say feigning innocence.

"Oh- I- I believe I would love to have you show me Master Ori.."

His eyes lit up happily and he goes to get up and says shyly to you,

"It- it would be best if we dried off first Miss.."

Your small smile at the dwarrow's behavior knowing this could lead to what you've wanted since he entered Bag End. As you rise you hear a sneaky giggle from Nori and dodge his attempt to touch your body. With a most satisfactory thumping splash you turn to see the starfish haired dwarrow face first in the water and snort softly at his facial expression. You turn back to Ori and quickly rush out of the water and almost fall over but quickly dry yourself off and pull on at least your dress. As Ori pulls on his garments you smile happily and watch him as you lace your bodice top up and pull on your warmer tunic top.

"Miss Y/n, you look beautiful as always in that outfit."

With a soft blush you curtsey and bow your head at his kindness, quickly spotting his contract in hand. The anticipation killing you as he hands it to you gently and a little bit more than shy as his eyes look worried.

With this contract I bequeath unto you a request for you to be my consort. For I, till my dying breath will love, trust, obey, protect, and provide for you.

I swear never to harm, maime, or damage you.

I shall never take of you, unless it is freely given to me.

I shall always keep you warm and safe through the days and nights of our courtship.

I shall never look to any woman besides you for guidance, honor, and aid.

I pledge to keep you, any children we create, and our pets, safe from all evildoers.

I swear to you I will trust and give you my undying friendship, even if you refuse to accept my courtship offer.

I promise to always tell you my secrets, even if they seem trivial to you.

And I promise to always be true to you.

Ori

With a smile as you read through the contract and smile as you pull out of your pocket your mother's ring which coincidentally held a rune of power. As you neatly sign next to Ori's name and drip some wax onto the paper sealing it with the ring you see him flush scarlet and smile shyly.

"Oh- you- you knew?"

A sly smile graces your lips as he seems to stumble over himself a bit and suddenly asks softly.

"How- how would you like it if I braided your hair?"

Smiling softly to the nervous dwarf you sit down in front of him and say happily.

"Anzyugal, I would love to wear your courting braid."

So he sat and quickly set a courting braid in my hair smiling all the while as he finally found his one.

Chapter 7: Lost In Lust - Eowyn

Chapter Text

If you're honest with yourself, when lady Eowyn looked towards you when she asked for a lover from the halls tonight. You almost fainted with excitement, even the thought of her wishing to return to you was a blessing. After all it is no coincidence that the white lady of Rohan chose you for warming her bed. She has done this before and wishes to feel you all over her once more.

After leading her to her room you close the door and watch her slowly undress as you lock the door. She turns with a grin and murmurs softly for your ears alone,"Will you aid me in undoing my dress?" If that wasn't temptation enough to admit that you would love to who knows what else you would admit. But with a small smirk and a devillish wink you strode over and aided her just as she requested. Then she aided you and led you to her bed, splaying out underneath you oh so seductively.

The truth was you’ve always loved how Eowyn looked right now, sprawled out beneath you and writhing in pleasure. Her golden hair was flowing across the bed, and her head had fallen back, exposing the smooth, flawless skin of her throat. Her eyes were scrunched closed in pleasure, and her hands were fisted in the sheets beside her.

“Oh Valar,” she breathed out, squirming as you strongly licked her clit. Moving your mouth lower to her vagina to lap up the juices hungrily, thrusting your tongue inside the hole. Your hands roaming over her chest, massaging her breasts and then lightly tweaking her nipples with your calloused fingers. She moaned, as you paused your ministrations to suck on two of your fingers. She wriggled her hips at the loss of contact, and as she wriggled you pressed two fingers inside of her, thrusting them in and out.

Returning your attention to her clit, swiping your tongue over it in a long stroke. Flicking your tongue over the clit quickly, over and over again, and Eowyn gasped. She pushed herself up further on the bed, pulling away slightly from you, as if the pleasure was too intense and she was trying to escape. This only led you to follow her, flicking that succulent tongue even faster, continuing to fuck her hole with your fingers, and she moaned loudly.

“Y/n,” she cried out. She was panting, her knuckles turning white from her grip on the sheets, and her whole body felt warm as the heat coiled in her belly. As you close your lips over her clit and began to suck, and her eyes snapped open for a second in surprise, before falling shut again. Her back arched off the bed, and her face scrunched up in an almost pained expression. Her body shook violently as her orgasm hit her, washing over her in waves, and you continued to suck on her clit as she rode it out, her mouth hung open in a wordless cry.

She lay panting afterwards, swallowing to relieve her dry throat, and she felt you shift. She opened her eyes to see you releasing your straining erection from the confines of your trousers, and she swallowed again, eyeing the thick cock in desire. There was a bead of precum at the slit, as you used it to coat your shaft lightly, though she was already wet enough that you needed no other lubricant.

Looking to her for permission, and she couldn’t resist the small smile that formed on her face from your polite respect for her. You were more of a gentleman than most of the noble men that she had met, and she nodded her consent. Positioning yourself at her hole, pushing inside slowly and gently. You were thick and stretching her open, but she felt so incredibly full, even though you weren't as long as the other men she had been with.

You paused, lifting her legs and pushing them back, almost over her own shoulders, while still being careful not to hurt her. Thrusting again, and this time, it hit a spot inside of her that she didn’t even realize existed. She gasped, gripping your shoulders tightly and digging her nails into your supple skin. Taking this as a sign to continue, you thrust into her with almost reckless abandon. Holding her legs up, and she could feel you deep inside her stomach, though she wasn’t sure how, and it felt so good that it was almost painful. She moaned and cried out, barely registering the noises that she was making.

As you shifted, letting go of one of her legs and using your forearm to hold them both in place. You began licking the fingers of your free hand, moving it down to her clit and fondling the sensitive skin. She hissed at the overstimulation but didn’t push you away. You stroked her clit as you continued to pound into her, and it was too much, too intense, and she moaned loudly as her second orgasm hit. She saw stars, and her body shuddered as her hole convulsed around your cock. Thrusting a few more times before grinding into her as your seed spurted inside and filled her up.

Her muscles felt liquefied, and she practically melted into the bed. She felt as light as air, though her body was still trembling from the after-shock when you pulled out. She looked at you through hooded eyes, and moving up the bed to lay by her side. You kissed her languidly, and she could taste herself on your lips. She was surprised by how erotic it was, yet she could feel exhaustion taking over, so she let her eyes flutter closed. You covered her with a sheet and wrapped your arms around her as you pulled her close. Kissing her forehead, and she smiled in contentment as she fell into a peaceful sleep.

Chapter 8: Birth of a Prince - Fili

Chapter Text

“Givashiel? Dear, please tell me why the healer was leaving the room when I came in today?”

“Honestly Fili, two years of marriage and you still call me strange names from the men of the lake.”

Fili frowned. “Two years of marriage and a year of courting means I know when you’re dodging the question.”

You sigh and roll over to face Fili, but still avoided his gaze.

“Darling, you’re worrying me. What’s going on? Are you ill? You can tell me.”

“I’m not ill,” she murmured. Fili moved in and cupped her face gently. You muttered something that he couldn’t catch.

“Lovely, you’re gonna need to speak up. After battling orcs and wargs-”

“I’m with child,” she whispered.

After a brief look of shock, a wide grin set itself on his face. “Givashiel, oh my beautiful, wonderful love! This is wonderful!”

You smiled faintly as he began kissing every bit of her face that he could. It was when he pulled away to share his excitement with her that he noticed the tears collecting in her eyes.

“Love what is wrong? Are you unhappy with the news?”

“Fili, I’m so scared.”

“Of what?”

“Fili, mum died giving' birth. We were supposed to have a little brother but he didn’t even last through the birth.”

“Love,” Fili cut in worriedly as big tears began pouring down your cheeks.

“I don’t want to die Fili! I don’t want to die! I don’t want to kill our baby!” she cried out repeatedly as Fili pulled her into a tighter embrace.

“You won’t,” he said gruffly, voice thick with emotion. “I will not let it happen.”

For all Fili’s words of comfort, you cried yourself to sleep that night and Fili got very little rest himself, his mind tossing and turning, trying to find a way to comfort his wife. He thought of who he would go to for advice. He loved his kin but the majority of them he would not trust with such a delicate situation. As he slipped off to sleep he finally made his mind up and hoped he would be able to help his wife.

“Balin, if I could have a word,” Fili caught up with Balin as he exited his study.

“Of course lad. Walk me to the throne room?”

Fili nodded and both of them started off down the hall. The both of them walked in silence, Fili not knowing how to begin the conversation.

“How’s your wife doing lad?”

Fili let out a sigh. He wasn’t sure whether Balin was just creating conversation or had in some way figured out there was a problem. Whatever the answer, he was glad that Blain had opened the conversation.

“That is what I wanted to speak to you about. Forgive me if I am blunt but I do not know quite how to breach this topic and I do not have your way with words.”

Balin nodded solemnly. “Is everything all right with her?”

Balin and you had always gotten along, both of a very logical mindset. You had spent months both before and after their wedding with him, learning all she could about dwarvish history and culture. It was because of this bond that Fili decided to come to Balin with their plight.

“She is with child,” he stated, stopping in the hallway. Both of them were now above the hall that the company had tried to smother Smaug in. He crossed his arms over his chest as he went to the balustrade and leaned his weight upon it as Balin came to stand beside him.

“I offer you both my congratulations but I sense this is a not an entirely joyous occasion.”

Fili nodded slowly before uncrossing his arms and running a hand over his face.

“She lost her mother to childbirth and is now petrified she will not only lose her life but that of our child’s,” he said slowly, pausing before letting rush of words come out of his mouth.

“I had to hold my wife as she cried herself to sleep last night. I did not know how to comfort her.”

“You did all that you could laddie. That fear touches many of the female kind during their pregnancies. Put yourself in her place. Not only has her mother died during childbirth but I am willing to wager that not many women in Laketown had easy labors when their time came. There were not many children when we passed through. She has grown up in a world where childbirth is quite dangerous.”

“But we have healers now Balin, both of the races of Men and of Dwarves! And I may add, as it seems to comfort her and many of her kind, that they have received training from the elves! I will not see my wife cry as if the child has already been lost!”

“Yes, that is true, but laddie, you of all people should know how hard it can be to find the light when the path seems dark and dangerous. You must acknowledge her fears. Don’t make them seem trivial or she will only lock them away and let them grow. Take her with you when you journey to Laketown and Dale. Let her see how the children are growing. Let her see mother’s to be with rosy cheeks. Sometimes it is not the words we speak to those afraid that helps them conquer their fears laddie.”

Fili nodded before clasping Balin’s shoulder.

“Thank you.”

“Not a problem lad. Just send along my best wishes to that wife of yours. Let her know that I’ll be expecting her soon to talk about Dwarvish birthing and naming ceremonies.”

Fili laughed, short but needed. “I will let her know but it may just frighten her further!”

“I’ll have you know laddie, that despite what your mother may have told you, you were in no real danger during your naming ceremony! Your father, drunk as he was, was in complete control of his sword the entire time!”

Fili laughed again before saying his farewells to Balin and heading off to find his wife.

He came upon her as she sat in the garden that Thorin (with his usual gruff nature covering up his pleasure at seeing the young maid who had stolen his nephews heart so pleased) had bestowed upon you on their wedding day. She was often to be found there, tending to her flowers and herbs while still managing to ensure that everything that needed to be done was and to her standards.

She was standing in front of her flower garden as if assessing their health and color but with her hand absently holding her lower abdomen he could tell her mind was on other matters. He snuck up behind her and wrapped his arms around her stomach. She tensed briefly before relaxing into his arms.

“I’m thinking of moving my foxglove further back in the garden. I caught the daughter of one of the guards trying to eat it.”

“A wise thought,” he agreed, kissing the back of her neck. Warmer weather meant lower cut dresses, which Fili did not mind one bit and probably factored into their current situation.

“Love, about last night,” he started before she cut in.

“I know, I’m sorry,” she said quickly, turning to face him.

“Sorry for what?” Fili asked, thoroughly confused.

“Well, it was bit of me shirking my duties wasn’t it?”

“Lass, how was last night in any way you shirking your duties?”

“As your wife it’s my duty and privilege to bear you children. I’m sorry about what happened last night and it won’t happen again.”

Fili fumed. “What clod pole, addlebrained idiot gave you that idea?”

“Pardon?” You asked sharply.

Fili let out a breath, trying to calm himself down before continuing. “Lovely, in our culture, it is my privilege to have you bear my child. Even you agreeing to marry me is my privilege. It is not a duty to be dealt with. It is a most joyous event as it does not happen all too often. Your pregnancy will have many holding you in high esteem not as some kind of heir-breeding machine but as a woman who has found someone she herself holds in high esteem and finds most trustworthy.”

“Oh,” You said in a small voice. “It’s…it’s not always so in culture of Men.”

“Dearest, does this add to you fear of childbirth? This idea that it is your duty to bear an heir? This noxious idea that you are simply a way to a mean? Because whether or not you bear me five children or none I will always cherish you.”

“I suppose it has always been a large pot of fears,” You say slowly, slipping out of his arms and going to sit on one of the garden benches. “The first fear has always been death. I heard my mother struggle in vain to bring a brother into this world before she died. Then growing up I saw the shame put upon women who have lost their child during their pregnancies and I feared for both myself and whatever children I might bear. If I lived through the pregnancy and childbirth but lost the child I would face certain shame, if I lost both of us…”

Fili lowered himself onto the bench, leaning his forearms on his knees and clasping his hands together.

“I won’t deny that I’m afraid of losing you love, but it’s something I’m determined not to think about because I don’t know what I would do if I did but I have lived most of my life in the shadow of fear, of not belonging, not knowing how long my race could continue. You have lived your life in this shadow as well and I am determined to let us be free of this shadow in these days of riches. We are alive with our kin still around us and we have been bestowed with the greatest treasure the gods can ever give us.”

He paused before turning his head to look into her eyes.

“Please love, try for me, to live out of this shadow together. We are going to have a child and you could not find a happier dwarf.”

You were silent for a while before taking Fili’s hand, and simply stating, “Together.”

Fili smiled before gripping her hand more tightly and assuring her.

“Together.”

Roughly eight months later, you bore a healthy boy whom you both named Thili and you both spoiled the boy rotten. Thorin once again covered up his pleasure by gruffly stating that he was a fine looking lad even if he didn’t seems to have a hint of a stubble. And despite your fear for her son’s life during his naming ceremony (“He does do what with a sword?”) you both managed to live a peaceful life all together.

Chapter 9: Familial Love - Balin

Chapter Text

“Adaaaaaaaaaaaaad!”

Despite being weary from the tedious meeting, Balin immediately bent down to scoop up his son and lifted him into his arms. “Hello Frerin, my lad.” Balin chuckled.

The child giggled as his Adad gently bumped their foreheads together and then proceeded to tickle him.

“Frerin!”

At the exasperated cry, Frerin froze in Balin’s arms and turned to send a sheepish smile to you. Said hobbit was leaning heavily on a nearby column, flushed and slightly out of breath as if he had been running.

“Frerin, what have we said about running off?” You frowned, mopping his brow with a handkerchief from his pocket as he walked over to the pair.

“Not to,” The dwarfling replied quietly. “Sowwy, Papa. I jus’ wanted ta see Adad.”

The former burglar sighed as the piercing blue gaze of his son looked up at him woefully (Eyes that he had inherited from Balin and he tried to not glance at his husband - full knowing that damnable twinkle was surely being sent his way) and cupped the child’s cheek, “I know but please, at least tell me where you’re running off to, lad. For my poor heart’s sake.”

You tweaked Frerin’s nose after receiving a solemn nod and revelled in the cheerful smile that bloomed across his son’s face. The hobbit finally turned to greet his spouse when he stopped short. “Hel- darling, are you alright?”

Both You and Frerin stared at Balin with concern and increasing alarm as tears streaked down into the fluffy beard despite it’s owner smiling widely at the two.

“Adad?” The dwarfling cried, reaching out and patting the dwarrow’s face and kissing his cheeks reassuringly, “You sad?”

“I’m just happy.” Balin choked out, wiping his eyes with a brisk swipe of his hands, “To have you both.” More tears blurred his vision before familiar fingers soothingly took over the task of brushing away his tears before then drifting to card through his hair.

“My dear dwarf.” His hobbit murmured, right before he claimed his lips for a proper kiss....until impatient little hands patted the couple’s faces.

“I want a kiss too!”

Leaning back from his husband, You obliged the pouting child by pressing a kiss to his cheek. And then chuckled as the dwarfling giggled and squealed, trying to squirm away from Balin’s attempts to do the same.

“No! No beard kisses, Adad!”

“Aha!”

“Ewwwww!”

“Whatever seems to be the matter dear Frerin?”

“You and Amad! kissing! It’s icky!”

Chuckling warmly Balin pats his head and says in quiet reply.

"I'm glad you know that it won't stop any time soon."

Chapter 10: Called Out - Arwen

Chapter Text

Arwen sat in one of the gardens of Rivendell, book in her hands, enjoying the warmth of the sun and the peacefulness of the valley.

“SISTER!”

Correction, Arwen was internally groaning at the fact that every time she found an empty place to read, one of her brothers would seek her out for something utterly pointless. After more than a thousand years one would think they could learn to give her space to read occasionally.

“What do you want, Elrohir?”

“I need you to talk to Ada for me.”

“What for?”

“I need you to convince him that Elladan and I can lead the next orc hunting party.”

“And why would I do that?”

“Because it will mean Father is here, safe, we will be out of your hair for a while, and if you do not I will continue to pester you.”

Arwen rolled her eyes. “Fine. I’ll mention it - if he brings it up, but I am not going out of my way to plead for you.”

Elrohir smiled. “That’s all I ask.”

A few days later Arwen had stolen away to her father’s study. He was at his desk, working on more paperwork, but had promised that she could hide with him. He would make sure the twins did not bother her and her reading.

“Ada, have you seen Arwen?” Elladan asked, strolling into his father’s office without knocking.

“Ah, there you are! I wanted to talk to you about -“

“Nope.”

“Ada?”

“She is in here so that she can read without either of you interrupting her. Now go. You can talk to your sister later,” Lord Elrond said, not looking up from the letter he was writing to the king of the Woodland Realm.

“But it’s really important.”

“Is someone dying?”

“No, but-“

“Then go. I’m tired of you three not getting along,” Elrond set his pen down and looked between his children. Arwen had set her book on her lap to watch the exchange.

“Ada, Arwen will not talk to us... Ada, the twins will not leave me alone... Ada, this one is bothering me... Valar’s sake you are over one thousand. Elladan, you and Elrohir have to learn that Arwen needs alone time. Arwen, you cannot always get frustrated at them when they interrupt your reading. Have I made myself clear?”

“Yes, Ada,” the pair mumbled softly.

“Good,” he turned back to his work. Arwen and Elladan exchanged a glance. He nodded his head to the door and she nodded, following him out of the office.

Once they were in the garden, where she had been interrupted the day before, they sat. “What did you want to talk to me about?”

“Well, Elrohir and I, we sort of found out something.”

“Sort of?”

“We followed some clues, and have come to a conclusion, but we want to make sure we are correct before we do anything…stupid.”

“That would be a first. You think I would know?”

“You should know if you and Y/n are an item.”

“WHAT! Y/n and I? Together? Valar no.”

“That was a very strong reaction, sister. The lady might protest too much. What do you think, brother?”

“Me thinks so,” Elrohir stepped out from behind a tree.

“Why would you think Y/n and I are together?”

“We never see you together,”Elladan started.

“Except when you both happen to be with Ada,” Elrohir finished.

“You used to spend time in the library together,”

“Or in the gardens,”

“But not anymore.”

“It’s almost as though you are trying very hard for no one to think anything at all about you as a pair,” Elrohir raised his eyebrows at his little sister.

“Think whatever you wish. You two have such a knack for finding me when I least want to be found, that if I were in a secret relationship with anyone I would be certain that one of you would have walked in on it. Since you only seem to pop up when I’m reading, I clearly cannot be in a relationship,” Arwen reasoned, her voice calm and steady.

“If you say so. We wanted to be certain,” Elladan said, before slinging an arm around his brother’s shoulders and walking away.

Once they had disappeared around the corner, you emerged.

“How much of that did you hear?”

“All of it. I was on the bench behind the butterfly bush,” You offered her a smile which she returned, gesturing for you to sit next to her.

“Our plan has not been working.”

“I am afraid not. But it matters little, Lord Elrond already knows.”

“He knows everything.”

“Yes. Would it really be so bad if they knew we were … what are we doing?”

“Courting is not the right word, is it?”

“No.”

“Trying things out?”

“Close enough. Would it be so bad if they knew we were trying things out?” You asked.

“For me, yes. They would tease me mercilessly.”

“Are you embarrassed of me?” You would usually never be so blunt, but you needed to know. You would not allow your feelings to be toyed with.

“No, Y/n! The twins would tease me no matter who I was with. Brothers are irritating like that. I could never be embarrassed of you,” she hugged you close and you smiled and hugged her back.

“Good, because you do not embarrass me either,” You teased. Arwen smacked you lightly on the arm and laughed.

The twins watched the pair from behind a tree.

“Knew it,” they whispered in unison.

As they turned away the twins were greeted by Glorfindel, who chased them off to leave Arwen and Y/n alone for a time.

Chapter Text

The door shut behind him with a barely audible click and Elladan peered down the seemingly deserted corridor. He glanced in both directions and was displeased to see there was not a single soul in the immediate vicinity. With an annoyed sigh he pulled his robe about him a little bit tighter and swiftly pulled his hair into a loose, messy bun; he had hoped to find a servant milling about but it seemed he would have to go in search of one.

Elladan winced as he took one ginger step forward before he began to limp slowly down one randomly picked the direction of the corridor. He hoped he'd come across one of the household helpers soon – his right foot throbbed mercilessly. Elladan had sustained the injury whilst he and Elrohir had been out on their errantry in the foothills of the Misty Mountains; and it was in fact the reason why they were currently in Imladris.

Elladan took another pained step forward and decided to lean upon the wall and shuffle along as it would be easier. He really ought to have let Elrohir get him a crutch as his twin had suggested last night but they had only just arrived, Elladan had been too tired and in the end had told Elrohir to leave off until the morning. He glared down at the offending foot. It was thickly swathed in pristine white bandages that hid the gruesome sight left behind by a warg bite to the ankle. There were several small but deep puncture wounds and Elrohir had been so worried about them becoming infected he had forced them both to return home.

Elladan shuffled on; he personally thought Elrohir had made a huge fuss for no real reason – he felt ok and the wound did not seem as though it would become infected. Still Elrohir had as usual tended to him meticulously and gotten him home safely without taking even an hour's sleep for himself. Hence Elrohir had been near on the verge of collapse when they had finally arrived back in Imladris last night – his over generous twin had spent far too much energy on him.

And that was the reason Elladan now shuffled along painfully in search of the household help. He wanted to treat Elrohir to breakfast in bed; and though he could not make it himself at the moment he wanted to send for a spread and have it all laid out for when his brother awoke. His twin deserved a little looking after now after the way he had tended to Elladan over the past few days.

Elladan rounded the corner and slowed as he heard a curious noise – it sounded rather like small, jingling bells. He shimmied forward a little further doing his best to remain as silent as possible. The sight that met him gave him cause to pause in his tracks.

It was Y/n who stood rather precariously upon a step ladder as he hung some tiny silver bells – Yuletide decorations – above the door to his suite. You was humming a traditional Noldor Yuletide tune to himself and Elladan hung back. He had forgotten the time of year – indeed Yuletide was in two days and Elladan cringed.

It had been a while since he and Elrohir had last been back for Yuletide; and had he not been drugged to kingdom come he might have remembered the season and refused to let Elrohir bring him back here. Now Elrohir would no doubt feel compelled to stay with their Adar over the holidays – for they had been making a real effort to reconnect with him again. Yet Elladan felt really anxious about it all; the thought of having to sit down to their first family Yuletide in years made him nervous. He was very sure that everything would be hideously, hopelessly awkward.

Much like his current scenario – did he continue on past You and risk the inevitable awkwardness that would ensue or did he turn around and drag himself off in the opposite direct?

Elladan cursed his luck and peered around the corner again. You had hung his bells and now rummaged in a box at his side for more decorations. This was another tradition he had all but forgotten about, so long had it been since he had celebrated Yule in Imladris. All the residents of the main house decorated their doorposts and frames as suited their individual tastes with Elrond jokingly awarding a 'winner' for best décor each year.

Elladan stared some more – it looked like You was nearly finished and was putting on the last few finishing touches.

A shock of pain through his ankle broke Elladan out of his reverie. His foot hurt really quite badly; he needed to get on with his plans and get himself back to bed to put his feet up. Besides if he didn't get a move on Elrohir would awaken to no breakfast. Steeling himself Elladan continued forward – he would politely greet You and then just keep going about his way.

Elladan limped round the corner and gave a small nod to You as the older ellon looked down at him.

"Mae govannen Hir Y/n." Elladan cringed a little internally at the formality of his words but could not take them back.

Truth was he just didn't know how to act with Y/n these days. True enough he and Elrohir were trying slowly but surely to mend the many bridges they had burnt in the past but Elladan really, really had no idea how to approach You. It was a real shame as before his Naneth's ordeal he and you had been very close and got on like a house on fire. Now all there was between them was a stiff, formal and somewhat awkward respect and Elladan knew that it was his fault. He had pushed you away.

"Mae govannen Hir-nin Elladan. I was not aware yourself and Hir Elrohir were back." You gave a cautious smile as he swivelled on his step ladder to face Elladan.

Elladan's heart sunk a little at the equally formal greeting but then what could he really expect?

"Ah…yes…I have been injured," Elladan awkwardly pointed at his foot that pounded with pain.

You knit his brows in mild concern, "Tis nothing too serious I hope?"

"No, nothing too bad – Elrohir saw to that - tis the reason we have arrived so suddenly."

Once more as soon as the words left his mouth Elladan wished he could take them back. He could have phrased that answer more tactfully. Now you would think only injury had forced them home. Technically it was true but he did not need to be so blunt about it. You now seemed stuck for words and Elladan could not blame him. The ebony haired twin decided to take that as his cue to leave.

With another quick nod to his Adar's advisor Elladan took a step forward to continue his quest for Elrohir's breakfast.

"I will see you over the holidays I suppose Hir Y/n – argh!"

Elladan's ankle had tired of his abuse and decided that now was the moment to give out. It did so with a sharp pain that stabbed all through Elladan's foot and the twin lurched forward and fell onto something soft to the sound of shattered glass. Elladan quickly looked to see what he had landed on and saw that Y/n had leapt down from his perch and caught him. But what was that noise? It had sounded like broken glass.

Elladan pulled away from you, "Hannon-le, my leg is perhaps more injured than I thought. What was it that broke – I hope it wasn't anything too…" The words faded on Elladan's lips as he stared down at the shattered pieces of bauble around him. He recognised the pieces with a sense of horror and lifted a hand to cover the perfect 'O' his mouth made. Elladan was mortified.

On the floor in tiny, smashed pieces were the pair of baubles that he remembered you hung up every year as the centerpiece of all the decoration above his door. They were no ordinary baubles – they were large and made of a rather spectacular looking pale pink glass studded with small mithril beads. Most incredible of all were the small mithril figures each one housed – tiny likenesses of the advisor's long dead parents.

That was what made the baubles so special; they had been a gift Y/n had received from his parents millennia ago, and were now of the few things you had by way of mementos of them after the sacking of Gondolin. Elladan knew they were precious to you for the older ellon had always taken such good care of them – he had refused to let the twins near them when they were elflings and he always made them his centerpiece. And now here they lay smashed to bits all because you had selflessly caught Elladan to soften his fall and prevent him from hurting himself further.

Elladan could have kicked himself. He felt so, so bad.

"Silime I am so, so very sorry. I did not…I did not mean…I am so sorry. Ai Valar."

Elladan wrung his hands and refused to meet Y/n's eyes. He could not imagine how he would feel if something so precious to him had been destroyed; especially if it were something that reminded him of his Naneth. He felt tears well up and he bit his lip to keep them at bay. He knew they were only baubles but he also knew they were special to you.

"Ai Silime I am sorry – I do not know how I can ever make it up to you but -" Elladan was cut short by you who had taken a sudden hold of him.

"What did you call me?"

Elladan looked up at the other and blushed; in his distress he had reverted to his previous pet name for you. One he had not called him by in long years. Valar would today's mishaps and embarrassments never cease?

"I…I…" Elladan stammered quite unsure what to say to rectify his latest blunder.

However you simply beamed at him and held onto his arm even tighter.

"It has felt like an age since you have called me such."

Elladan only gaped as you gently cupped his face and beamed at him.

"I am glad to know that you do not loathe me completely – that you still have some fondness for me in your heart.

"Y/n of course I do not hate you," Elladan could not believe you thought that he hated you. Sure they had not gotten on for a good long while and Elladan had cut him out of his life rather cruelly he had to admit but still, he had never, could never hate you.

Elladan held your gaze with his own, "I have never held any hatred toward you Silime – it is just…it is…well I have lost my way. I do not even know how to approach you anymore." At this last Elladan hung his head.

"Come," You began to gently help Elladan to his feet. "Let us not make any more of a spectacle of ourselves; come inside my chambers. I need to make sure you did not cut yourself on any of the broken glass."

"B-but your baubles I - "

You guided Elladan to sit on his couch and waved his hand dismissively.

"Yes they had great meaning to me and it is a shame they broke but it is not your fault Elladan." As you brushed a stray hair from Elladan's face, "Tis my fault really I am the one who threw myself to the floor without heed. Worry yourself no more about them and let me see if you have any cuts."

"But Silime they were special to you," Elladan looked past the advisor to the smashed glass in the corridor in dismay.

You continued to check him over and then once satisfied Elladan hadn't been cut by the glass; you strode out into the corridor and picked up the two small mithril figurines before he entered the room again and placed them on the low table in the room.

"Do not fret so Elladan – tis the figurines that have real value and as you can see they are perfectly fine. I can have new baubles made for them to be placed into again. Truly do not worry. Sîdh."

Elladan let out a relieved albeit shaky breath, "Well I am still really sorry." The twin shook his head tiredly, "All I wanted to do was arrange breakfast in bed for Elro as a treat."

Y/n smiled kindly, "Well that can still be arranged although I think it would be best if I went and called for it myself. You really should not be on your feet."

"Le fael Silime."

You grinned widely again, "I am glad to be called by that name once more – for your regard and friendship is more precious to me that any ornament could ever be. Now let me go and see about having someone send up your breakfast."

"Have them send up enough for three – it would be lovely if you could join us."

Y/n positively glowed at the invite and Elladan returned the advisor's smile with a grin of his own. Perhaps spending Yuletide in Imladris would not be so awkward after all.

Chapter 12: Sleepless Nights - Elrond

Chapter Text

Rivendell held more beauty than you had ever seen throughout Middle Earth. Granted everywhere you had been, had its own unique beauty, but as soon as you set foot in Rivendell you had fell breathless by what you had the pleasure to witness. Now having the opportunity to call such a place you home, seemed of the highest graces, only simply excelled by the fact that you were to marry the benevolent Lord of Rivendell.

Although you were stunned by what was before you, it had led to several sleepless nights since you had moved in. Most nights you had been content in your fiancé’s arms feigning rest, before later falling into a blissful slumber. Tonight wasn’t so kind to you though. You felt restless and needed some fresh air before you could possibly think about dreaming the night away.

Sneaking off to the balcony attached to your shared chambers, you grasped the cool railing looking out to the moon kissed lake before you. Even if you had trouble sleeping, at least there was a view for you to look at whilst you succumbed to your thoughts.

You stood there for a while allowing the cool breeze to hit your barely covered skin, only being knocked from your tired thoughts by the voice of the man you love.

“Hello meleth-nin,” his soft voice spoke from behind you.

You paused, turning slightly to see him. He hesitantly approached you, seeming as though he didn’t want to scare you away.

He crossed the balcony gently putting a hand to your side, doing his best to carefully approach you.

“Why aren’t you in bed?” He asked calmly.

Elrond moved closer, to wrap his arms around you, pulling you to his chest. He delicately placed a kiss to your cheek. You leaned into his embrace, grateful for the closeness he granted you and appreciative of the warmth he provided to fight against the cold air out on the balcony.

“I couldn’t sleep,” you whispered, barely audible over the soft noise of the breeze. “I didn’t mean to wake you.”

“Nonsense. Why didn’t you wake me?”

You let out a soft sigh, allowing your hand to rest on top of his, brushing your fingers over his skin.

“I didn’t want to bother you. I planned to be back before you’d notice. But being out here is so calming. Rivendell is beautiful, it is undeniable,” you smiled softly.

A soft chuckle rumbles through his chest as he placed another kiss to your cheek.

“It is beautiful here, but you behold a much stronger beauty my dear.”

Your cheeks glossed over with a reddish tinge of mere embarrassment due to how sweet Elrond could be.

“How do I deserve someone as perfect as you?” You asked, your heart swelling at how much you cared for each other.

“I am far from perfect. However you are the closest thing to perfection in the whole of Middle Earth.”

"It does not surprise me that you say such things meleth-nin, and yet I swear you are the most perfect of any elven lord I have met." Watching as his cheeks started to glow the faintest bit with a blush.

"My dear, tell me why, in these sleepless nights, we stay awake to watch the stars?"

"To find the love Eru has gifted us through them, meleth-nin."

"Then explain why my star is at my side, and not amongst the stars in the sky?" Blushing softly at his words you sigh and leaninto his warm embrace and whisper to him.

"Because she found someone to love amongst the trees, the air, and the water meleth-nin..."

Chapter Text

If there's one thing that Dwalin would love, it's most probably Yule. The damn dwarrow loves anything to do with it. It's quite hilarious when the toughest dwarrow in the company gets giddy and weaves red and green ribbon around his axes. Not only that but he actually convinced Balin to dress in red clothes with white furred trim and a similar floppy hat. That in itself is quite funny but the fact that Ori started drawing it that's when things got a bit hairy. Dwalin instantly wanted him to write a little tale for the few dwarflings that were in the mountain currently. But now, he's trying to get you in a suit, and while you're comfortable with suits. This Mahal forsaken suit is literally so tight you're afraid you'll rip the ass seam.

"Dwalin, anzyugal**, I will not wear this, it's too tight for me to feel comfortable."

"*Ghivashiel, please? You just have to wear it once in here.. I will beg if I have to, just once?"

Grumbling about how ridiculous he is for wanting to see you in this damn suit but slowly and steadily pull it on and hear him sigh in thanks. Quickly realizing it actually hugs your ass you exhale slightly in dissapointment. Knowing your dwarrow was a tad perverted when it came to your body. Although it's not unwelcome at most times, especially in bed, he's fantastic in bed, hitting all the right places when you need him to.

"Lovely will you turn around? And pick your clothes up?"

Oh god, he's going to make me rip these pants, that's terribly perverted right?

Even though you know this is a bad idea you bend right over and surprisingly the seams don't rip, although you hear a strained groan from Dwalin and you peeked through your legs and saw him holding his cock and pumping it slowly as he stares at your rear.

"Oh lad, please, give me a show?"

Smirking through the middle of your shock you slowly crouch and hear him slowly start to pant and groan lustfully at the sight of your little show. Deciding he needs to be tormented a little more you stand and slowly remove the suit jacket and hear him groan and you stand to reveal flexing arms and stretch to the ceiling and hear him choke on a groan of your name.

"Oh please, umzam, you're so gorgeous when you do this."

"So this is what you had planned anzyugal? To tease yourself with the treat of my being?"

"Hah, I will always let you tease me amrâlul-kakhafˆ”

With a hearty laugh you turn and step to him in a lunge and watch his eyes focus on your groin in the tight clothes. Watching him as he tips his head back eyes still trained on your frame. His breaths coming more ragged as you shift poses and do the splits perfectly.

"Fasak amrâlul-kakhaf!"

"Too beautiful my love?"

"Aye lad, much too beautiful.."

Reader's Pov

I never thought that I'd ever fall in love, let alone with the heir of Isildur himself. Let me tell you a tale of how I came to realize, I wasn't what he wanted even though as a teen he came to me.And yet even now I stand in front of the king of Gondor to be with wary love in my heart. When my father told me of his love with my mother I never thought I'd understand the pain they went through to be together. But as the west wind walks around me in a blur of gushing cold I look to the moon in somber silence.

"Where now is the love I crave Eru? I miss the warmth it gives me."

Silence is all I am met with, a shame, the one night I wish for a wailing answer nothing stirs in the sighing winds. Awash with silent agony I turn away from the full moon and clutch my sholders in sadness as my dresses flow about me. I never taught myself to be cold, is this what he described to me? It sends my bones to rattle, and shudders through me with a fire I cannot ever forget. I look up to see Arwen watching from her rooms plateu silent as ever as she watches me. Nodding at the elegant elleth I walk under her high balcony and wander through the pillars looking for my solice.

"Lady Y/n, how fare you this night?"

I hear him and shudder silently the wind billowing through the pillars and flowing to meet us. As I shrug silently he steps forward and touches my shoulder with a warm grin. You have taken my heart with that grin young lord, please spare me my hurt. Even as I think this my body betrays me and I grant him a shy smile of happiness.

"Cold, and alone my lord Aragorn.."

"Cold? I thought you could not feel the cold my lady?"

"Well, seems that we were proven wrong my lord."

With a soft chuckle he nods and removes his cloak from his back and lays it gently over my shoulders. As he clasps it gently around my neck he kisses my temple setting a warmth through me like no fire ever could. Curling it around my body with a glance down to see it drags gently at my feet and grin at the simple happiness at the childish delight.

"You seem to enjoy dirtying my cloak my friend, whatever brings you delight also gives me joy."

"I enjoy it, for it gives you a reason to bathe and wash your clothing. It seems you do not do that enough my dear one."

A hearty laugh of glee fills the empty elven room and I grin at his warmth seeping around the room. Will you go away so I can be at peace? You are not mine I cannot have the love and desires I have. Again my silent plea is not heard as he gently hugs me tight.

"Shall I rouse you in the morning and bathe with you?"

A shy giggle floats from my body as I shake my head softly, my hair slipping from the neat plaits into loose waves falling to my knees. A hand slips into it and rakes through the waves and tugs gently.

"Oh~"

A splash of pink scuttles across his face as in the moonlit night he tugs his fingers through the lightly tangled strands. Shifting my stance to a more intimate position, sliding a leg between his thighs I grin and whisper playfully.

"Come play with the woodland lady my friend, she echos for you in my mind."

As his beautiful eyes darken in the lust i have incurred in him he whispers hoarse and unevenly.

"Tell her I belong to another, and cannot break my promise to them."

"A shame love, I hear the lady cry out for you in pleasure as she begs for your body upon hers."

"Yes, tis a shame I wish to take the maiden of the woodlands here before the balcony of my lover. But afraid she would hear I shall not."

Groaning in soft disapproval I sigh and pull my hair from his warm hand, with a shiver of dissappointment I look at him. His eyes seem dark and they absorb the light about them.

"No meleth-nin, stay with me? I will guide you to your room?"

"I- I doubt the lady of your life will alloww such an act luv."

"I doubt she will stop me, for I am a mortal and she holds but one power over me, my heart, though it doesn't just belong to her. But the lady before me as well."

A flush crosses my cheeks as I realize this is something I have desired for many years, yet never had the chance to indulge in. Nodding as he holds an arm out I take it and let him guide me to my darkened room with nary a whisper between us. A hand on my spine he gently pulled me close and presses a tender kiss to my lips as he wages whether or not I will force him away.

"Meleth-nin, will you indulge me just this once? With a night to remember, and a touch that forgets?"

As he smirks and follows me into my bedroom with aroused eyes focusing on my hips as they sway gently through my arms holding his cloak to my lithe frame.

"A taunting walk you have my lady, shall I adorn it with a limp?"

Smirking at his bravery I nod and unclasp the cloak and let it fall to the floor for him to see I had cut my bodice free from my chest. Hearing his small shocked intake of breath I shake my head gently at his oddly satisfying innocence.

"My lord seems shocked that my body is as graceful as an elven lady's."

"I rather am I will admit, i did not expect to see such beauty tonight, but it will not stop me from succeing in my task of pleasing you carnally my lady of the woodlands."

Rolling my eyes at the name i nod knowing in my heart this can never be spoken of not even by the wind or rain. A sad twinge runs down my spine as I fully divest myself of my dresses and bare myself to Aragorn. I watch his eyes rake over my form and shiver slightly.

"How now will you please me my lord Aragorn?"

"I- I have no idea to be fair my lady..."

As he undoes his tunic belting and drops it to the floor with the shedding of his tunic, revealing the hair coated chest I know lays beneath his clothing. A warm smile crosses my lips as he starts to untie his breeches, looking up to me. Eru this man is perfection, how can you tease me this way? Watching him kick off his boots and slide his breeches off I bite my lip at the sight.

"Lay upon your bed, Y/n. If I am to take you it shall be in comfort."

Wandering to my bed I smile shyly in excitement and lay upon my back as he follows close behind. Shivering shyly under his body as he tenderly kisses me with shy passion. Knowing this can occur makes me wish I had confronted him before Arwen.

"Aragorn, please- I will not break, please be passionate with me?"

With a wicked sharp grin he kisses me a little rougher and tangles a hand in my hair pulling a soft moan of lust from my lungs. Eru- I wish to remember this forever! He knows what makes me fall apart... A hand glides over my breasts and I shudder softly as he rolls my nipple to a hardened peak. Kissing his way to it tenderly as I watch him closely.

"Beauty like this should not be hidden my love, please hide it from me no more."

"As you with my love.. No more hiding my beauty beneath bodices and linen dresses, wear the elven dresses I am gifted."

He groans softly as I speak and he kisses lower slowly, making sure to trail each peck of his lips down my body and as he finally reaches my navel I grin warmly. As he indulges himself in kissing down my thighs, avoiding where I want him most, I whisper lustfully.

"Mela- please, take me."

As he looks up at me with those gorgeous blue eyes hauntingly aroused and highly entertained with my need.

"My beautiful darling," he purrs, licking a line down your neck and onto my shoulder and with one hand I grasp on his thigh, the other flies into his hair, tugging gently as he suckles a bruise into my skin.

"You are wearing too few clothes, Aragorn," I heave gently, hearing him chuckle against my skin. His hands and mouth leaving my body to turn me around to help him get a better angle to pull my hair.

Rising off my bed to kiss him, a slow, passionate pace of your lips molding into his sends shivers all over your skin and you weave your arms around his neck to bring him closer. He gladly obliges, deepening the kiss as he slips his tongue into my open mouth.

He presses me closer to him and I moan into his mouth as the feeling of his hard rock member. It has been far too long without his touch and you can barely bear the lust I am feeling.

Biting his lower lip, making him hiss slighty as he catches my hint. Aragorn pushes me down until i land on the bed with quiet puff yet before he hovers over my body, lifting my hips a little as I spread my legs.

Hearing him hum, his hands land on my backside, squeezing it firmly. A whimpering cry of his his name slips from my lips when his fingers slide along my clit, teasing at my entrance, and then they're gone, too quick for my liking. Whining softly and resting your head against my folded arms, waiting for Aragorn to continue.

Soon enough, I am granted with a delicious feeling of the head of his cock rubbing against my slicked sweet bud, coating him in my arousal. He still keeps a grip on my ass - learning very quickly that Aragorn loves taking me from behind.

Twitching my hips harshly against him to let him know that I'm ready as he pushes into me, filling my body slowly. Inch by inch his thick, throbbing dick buries inside of me causing me to grasp the sheets, nearly ripping them, moaning wantonly.

He gives me a moment to adjust, and the second my walls clench around him, he grunts, sliding out almost entirely before thrusting back. His pumps are deep, his pace steady and relentless and I am fully aware I will not last long. He grabs my hips roughly, not faltering in his movements for a second as he thrusts into me with reckless abandon.

As he lifts my hips slightly and new angle allows for him to go deeper, hitting my sweet spot over and over again as he quickens his pace a bit. My high-pitched moans driving him to pound me relentlessly, the sound of his skin slapping against is fueling my quickly approaching climax and with three more thrusts I'm there.

Crying out in a chant his name slips from my mouth as pure bliss crashes through me, making my mind go blank. My walls pulsating around him, sending him right over the edge with me - he jerks his hips sharply once, before he empties his essence deep within my womb, growling my name loudly.

He collapses upon me heaving for breath slightly, as he begins peppering my shoulder blade and neck with soft kisses as both of us are coming down from your high.

"I will draw you a bath beautiful," he says after a while, his voice husky and low.

"Us, you mean? You are joining me, of course correct?"

"As you wish, my sweet,"

he kisses me on the lips when I turn my head to look at him before making his way to the small bathroom. Hearing as he moves there, filling the wooden bathtub with warm water and you sigh with content peace. And rise from the bed feeling his seed ooze slowly down between my thighs, body and mind sated by the future king of Gondor. How sweet the sound of the leaves rustling with the warm wind and the soft moonlight filtering through every window. No harp is wrung, and yet this darkness that dwells is peaceful. The shadows that fall are peaceful and quiet as I watch over the night. A sharp noise of someone falling calls me to my door where when I open it I find the lady Arwen upon the floor in shock her cheeks bright pink.

"My lady? Are you alright?"

"He- he took you? At your request?"

I flush heavily and look down and murmur for her to only hear.

"A one time tryst my lady, it will never happen again, I know you frown upon it."

A soft look of hurt becomes her frame and I gently wrap my loose shawl round my body stepping out to her and helping her to her feet. As she stands she looks my body over and asks softly.

"How does it feel?"

"My lady?"

"How does coupling feel lady Y/n?"

"... Like the warmest wind in the cold of winter, that melts the fears and worries of the world away and brings great pleasure through the entire being."

She grins softly and takes my hands, straightening my shawl to cover my breasts so no ellon sees me bare under a square of fabric. She smiles and whispers full of trust and hope.

"Then I will allow this for you once a moon, you seem so lonely I could not bear it if you passed on lovely Halis. You mean as much to me as you do to Estel, do not fear Halis, he does care for us both and I am well aware of it."

My eyes ache with unspent tears at her wish and yet, my heart aches in a chill that I cannot heed her wish. Shaking my head as the tears spill I can see her worry grow with every passing second. With a heavy heart I admit in barely a whisper.

"My lady, I cannot heed your words. They cause my heart to chill like ice and snow, and my body to clench tight the muscles in me. I cannot allow but once a moon, once pleases me enough, I cannot let my heart be frozen just to be carnally pleased. I cannot accept this proposal mellon-nin..."

She nods her worry turned to sadness as she understands my words, though she touches my face and whispers tenderly.

"Go- Bathe with him just this once, so your heart may know the warmth of love."

I nod and let go of her hands and slip back into my room and shed the shawl as I walk to my bathing room and find Aragorn bent over the tub tempering the water for us both to be comfortable.

"Estel, thank you for this..."

He looks to me and a small sad smirk befalls his features as he rises and gently touches my cheek and murmurs.

"If you ever need me my wild wind, I will be here."

"Thank you Estel..."

"No worries my friend, I will always be here for you."

Chapter 15: Choice - Merry

Chapter Text

If there's one thing your whole being didn't expect it was the words from Merry's mouth that were just uttered to you.

"Look I know this is difficult lass, but I want you to know that love is a choice not only a feeling."

How were you supposed to reply to that?! Its like he just told you that it was okay to up and walk away after years of following him about the shire giggling because of his antics. Now admittedly you did have a few issues with him, for one the way he treated Pippin like he'd been as of late. It wasn't that he was forcing Pip away- no, it was the way he was giving Pip the cold shoulder when all the other male was trying to do was ask if his cousin was alright. As infuriating as Merry can be you have to admit to yourself he is a wonderful hobbit lad, unlike your last betrothed. Yeah lets just say he got taught how to swim by merry and leave it at that.

As you feel him gently touch your right wrist you snap from the thoughts of him and admit tenderly, "Merry, I know its a choice. But if it means spending my days with the one who I'd hike to Gondor with and back, then so be it. I know it wont be easy, but I am willing to take the steps I need to to be yours for eternity." Tenderly smiling at him to ease his worry you take his hand in yours and murmur, "I'm going to be with you for a very long time dear, I can promise that."

He lights up with a warm smile and a slightly awkward chuckle, a hand shifting to the back of his neck and tenderly rubbing. "Well at least I know that Y/n. Else I wouldn't be askin ye if you wanted to make this official now would I?"

Flushing pale pink you nod gently at the question and smile with the brightness of a thousand rainbows after a rainy day. "Alright, fair point you wouldn't be asking if you didn't know you were stuck with me." Carefully you brush your thumb over his sideburn and lovingly lock hesitant eyes with him. "I'd love to make this official Meriadoc Brandybuck. Now are you gonna propose to me or what?"

He laughs softly and gets down on a knee and pulls out a little elven made ring and takes a steeling breath. "Would You, Y/n Proudfoot take my hand in marriage and everything else that comes along with it? Because I'd really enjoy that." His nervous mutterings aside you nod and kiss him tenderly upon the cheek.

"Yes Meriadoc Brandybuck, I'll gladly marry you and take on whatever we want to face together... Because I love yeh, rascal."

The two of you were married within the month and it was a large celebration throughout the shire for one of the heroes had finally been married to one they truly loved.

Chapter 16: Insecurities - Arwen/Legolas

Chapter Text

Arwen's pov

An arranged marriage?!

What is ada thinking?! Does he think I will be happy being tied to the woodland realm?! I mean I care for Legolas but it doesn't mean I will leave Imladris for him!I

As I sit in my room in my home of Rivendell I ponder over my love and if he means to me what I think he does. Although I should be packing I cannot find the will to even bother. It is a shame I cannot marry Estel, yet I know I must marry into the woodland realm, mayhaps I could live in Imladris if I asked ada.

"Hiril- vuin? It is time to be leaving for the king's halls..."

Nodding sadly knowing my maids have been packing for me all week I take a final look about my room and sigh. I hope I may see you again one day my old friend, till then I bid you farewell. As I leave the room quietly in my beautiful blue dress I walk past ada with no glance to him but as I spot my twin brothers Elladan and Elrohir I rush to them and hug them both tight.

"Munthiel, what seems the matter?"

"I do not wish to go to the Woodland realm, I wish to stay here."

They sigh and kiss each side of my temple and whisper softly.

"Munthiel, we will guide you there and be there for the first month unless ada needs us, ai?"

Ai, but what if the elven prince takes a single look at me and ignores me from then on unless it is a public situation? Stop fretting Arwen, he will treat you kindly, you know he is kind. Quit your worrying. As I nod shyly and let them lead me to Asfoleth my mother's horse I mount and tie on my cloak and sigh softly.

"Ai, I understand Elrohir, does not mean I do not worry for my marriage arrangements."

They nod and mount up and we set off with ada's blessing of saftey and I feel a weight that wasn't there when I left my room fall on my shoulders. I just hope and pray he enjoys my company, for if not I will be miserable for certain.

*Two weeks travel later*

A long two weeks our travel has been, but finally we have reached the Elvenking's halls and I feel more anxious than I felt hearing the news I was to wed Legolas Greenleaf. What a relief it is to be greeted by the captain of the guard Tauriel, she seems kind enough to be a friend even if she glares at me as if she knows why I am here.

"Tauriel?"

"Ai?"

"Do you know of my visit?"

As she gives a curt nod and turns from me I feel saddened and look down slightly till I am allowed to dismount before the gates and walk through them silently. It has been such a long time since I have been here, I wish I knew the layout of these halls like the ones at home.. There is the path to the stables, I must remember to go there after my meeting with Thranduil.

"Hir vuin, Thranduillion..."

"Arwen Evanstar, a plesant sight to see in one piece. I trust your journey was tiring but peaceful?"

"Ai, Hir vuin."

"Good, that is alwas excellent news to hear. I trust Elrond has told you of your arrangement to my son?"

"Ai-, I still have yet to forget that my king."

He chuckles and I hear jangling chainmail and turn to see Legolas running towards us and his guards following at a similar pace behind him. He grins at me and bows to his father slightly and then turns to me his blue eyes alight with a sparkle I had yet to forget and takes my hand gently. As he places a tender kiss to my hand I feel warmth spread through me as I smile shyly at his warm grin.

"Forgive my late arrival my lady, I had been making sure no spiders got to you and your caravan."

"All is forgiven my lord, do not fret."

He grins widely at me and nods then turns to his father. Who looks slightly unimpressed with his son's obvious flirting with the woman he's engaged to.

"Adar, I was finishing off spiders in the woods, I am sorry I am late for the welcoming of lady Arwen."

"I can see that you are late, do not let it happen again understand?"

"Ai, Ada."

Feeling a small giggle come on as Thranduil turns and Legolas makes a ridiculous face at him and then hides it with a solemn look when his father turns around. As the king sits I let out a small giggle remembering the many times I have done the same thing to my Ada. As the king raises a thick eyebrow i blush and look down shyly and smile at my hands.

"Is there something you wish to say Arwen?"

"No, but I remember several times in my youth where I have been reckless and untimely and this interaction just reminded me of a few instances."

As Thranduil smirks softly and Legolas smirks cockily at his ada, as if to say I won the bet! I turn to him and say clearly, surprisng the prince of Greenwood.

"I do wish to meet your friends tomorrow, but for now I am afraid I must rest, I tire very easily."

Bowing to the king and prince I get a nod signaling I am dismissed and I leave for my private chambers, apparently across the hall from Legolas. Practically gliding into my room I find my things all lain out for me in my preferred manners and I smile at the dedication of my maids. What I would do to find out I have a balcony overlooking a garden or something...

Stepping out to the bed and sitting down upon it and picking up a book quietly I lose myself in the world till I hear a knock.

"Hmm? Who's there?"

"Legolas, my lady."

"Oh! Do come in, I hope I wasn't keeping you waiting.."

As he opens the door with a dress draped over his arm and shuts it with a grin, as he walks towards me.

"No-, i just arrived, Your dress I had made for you was finished just half an hour ago, I felt it appropriate to deliver it in person."

I smile and see the beautiful autumn colored dress in his arms and gasp softly.

"Legolas- You didn't need to make me a dress! It isn't fair! I didnt get you anything..."

His warm laugh as he lays it out on my bed for me and smiles at me as I hug him tight.

"There is no need, all you have to do is be here and I am content."

"But that is unfair, you- I must give you something more than just that!"

"Whatever do you mean hiril vuin? I Am content with just your presence, it is more than enough for me to accept it."

"My presence is enough to repay you? I am aware I sound daft but, how am I a repayment?"

"Because I care greatly for you, that is why. Now, go change, please? I wish to see the dress on you."

"A-are you positive I am sufficient?"

As he gently sighs I nod and rush off quickly to the changing room and change from my dress into the beautiful flowing autumn colors. Smiling in excitement as i see the fantastic color pallet chosen for my being and my dress. As I gently struggle a little with the fabric getting over my slim form, I hear chuckling from the opposing side of the screen.

"It tends to go on better when you loosen it mela.."

Snorting at his correcting me I loosen the dresses side lacings that I hadn't noticed and slip the gown on gently. Stepping out to face him clothed I approach and ask him quietly to help me tie the lacings. Without a fight he gently tightens the lacings to my liking and when we finish he takes my hand.

"Shall we go to dinner? I will guide you so you do not get lost, do not fear."

"I say we shall, Please lead the way."

Chapter 17: Afraid - Bagginshield

Chapter Text

Bilbo's Pov

You know, I never expected to lose everyone that I had grown to care about over my adventures. It never really crossed my mind that I would grow to worry over Thorin like I had when he passed. The first two days were the worst, I'll be honest. I kept turning to expect Thorin glaring at me or Fee and Kee waiting for me to walk into their pranks. I decided today that I was to leave, I was honestly trying to slip from the mountain quietly without getting noticed but well. I got noticed by my friends, the company I had grown to know for the past year.

When they finally let me go I thought back on the way Thorin looked down upon me when he first met me. Scowling and judging me silently with his beautiful eyes. Something I wished I could see once more. Never in my life have I ever wished the world to be less cruel and willing to let Thorin live.

If only I could hear him once more, maybe even touch him again... No, the time for dwelling on this needs to end, they're gone, just like the wind that carried their dying breaths. Rubbing my neck sheepishly I tell the company about the door being always open for them and that tea is at 4. With mournful goodbyes I walk over the bridge towards Dale and sigh softly. If Thorin were here he would have kept me from going, I know he would have. Pausing to take in the sight of the beautiful mountain I look at my hand and sigh softly murmuring to the mountain as if it were Thorin, Fili, and Kili.

"Goodbye my friends, may we meet again one day..."

Amin Riach lle, Legolas!- I curse you, Legolas!

Galu nethig...- Goodbye Little sister

Nethig!! Daro!! Daro, Im diheno dhe!- Older sister! Stop! Stop, I forgive you!

Gi melin, lle pe channas!- I love you, you idiot!

Isaliran thenar... - Fuck that...

Your pov

"Y/n! Where are you?" Your older brother Haldir yells and you run downstairs in an almost see through nightgown shouting,"Yeaaah? What is it Haldir?"

You hear him chuckle as he walks up the stairs halfway to find you in your nightwear not even dressed and says,"Get ready to be seen by other people soon, you crazy elleth..."You smile and say, "Who's coming over?" Haldir glares at you and says, "Legolas, the prince of Mirkwood..."

You shrieked with glee, you always loved having Legolas come over because it meant you got time to spend away from your brothers, Rumil and Orophin. You raced back into your room and quickly changed into a beautiful white dress and white slippers. After you got changed you raced down your steps and straight into Rumil's back. "Ooof! Rumil, Move it!" He moves and you gasp as you see Legolas looking fancy in his Lorien outfit and you raced up to him and tackle him to the ground in glee and say excitedly,"Legolas! You're here! By the Valar! Haldir! You didn't say he was HERE!" You stood up and punched Haldir's arm as hard as you could and he didn't even budge and so you let out a frustrated groan and turned back to Legolas and smiled weakly even though your hand was in pain.

Legolas smiles and says happily, "Mae gonnaven, Y/n! It is lovely to see you again..." You laugh and see his eyes have something more to tell you so you grab his hand and drag him to your room and say, "Spill it Leggy! or I'll call you Leglesslas!" He chuckles at your nickname for him and says, " I've found out who you really are from Lady Galadriel! Ha! Wo would've thought you were my sister?!" You gasp and pull away from his hands that had grasped your arms. You gawk at him and mimic him by saying, "Your sister?! Oh Illuvitar! No! I... I... I'm not... I can't be!" You push him out of your room and then shove him down the hallway and push him roughly down the stairs and he falls and hits his head on the last stair and you scream, "Never come here again, Legolas Thranduillion... Never... Amin Riach lle, Legolas!" You glared at him and his eyes widened in fear, he scrambles backwards and hits the wall as you turned dark and angry. You've always had a problem controlling your anger, but this was overboard you've never turned black and glowed, a dark aura ensnared your body and your voice turned all possessed and you sounded evil. He backed away and climbed the wall nearest to Haldir and asked,"Why???" You smirked and he flew back into the wall and then your grip released and he ran straight towards the house's exit and left you to your adopted brothers company.

You raced up to your room and slammed the door shut afterwards you hear Haldir yelling your name and you yell,"Hallen am Haldir! Ua lin nethig!!! Unen savya tin tentatin hanar!! Amin rhach Legolas Thranduillion!! Gwador nin!" You hear Haldir gasp through the door and fall to the ground then hear choked sobbing coming from him. You stood up and packed your reserved lembas bread and your two huge water-skins and then pack up all of your clothing and throw it in a big pack you have. You blew out the candles and yawned loudly and laid down under the blankets and Haldir opens the door and kisses your forehead and whispers in your ear, "I know you are not asleep nethig, I wish you the best of luck wherever you are headed... Galu nethig..." You silently cry as he leaves the room and feel your heart shatter as he leaves the room for the last time.

Time skip

Your brothers were asleep and so you decided to slip out at midnight so when you tied your pack to your horse Isil you sighed deeply and climbed up using the stirrups and started your ride to Imladris. When you had just reached the edge of Lorien you heard a voice yell, "Nethig!! Daro!! Daro, Im diheno dhe!" You turned towards the voice and groaned inwardly and say, "Ego hanar! Amin rhiach lle!" You look into his crystal blue eyes and see Haldir's eyes instead of your brothers and you gasp and mutter, "Haldir... U... What have I done?!" You slid off of Isil and raced off to Haldir's house and saw him with his sword run through his stomach and blood trickling down his front. You raced to his side and pulled the long sword out of his stomach and grip his face gently and whisper, "Haldir, you fool! Why did you do this? Gi melin, lle pe channas!" You gripped his head gently and kissed his lips softly, then pressed him to the bed. You wrapped your strong arms around his chest and head then pulled it to your chest and hummed his favorite tune:

Fanuilos heryn aglar
Rîn athar annún-aearath,
Calad ammen i reniar
Mi 'aladhremmin ennorath!

A Elbereth Gilthoniel
I chîn a thûl lin míriel
Fanuilos le linnathon
Ne ndor haer thar i aearon.

A elin na gaim eglerib
Ned în ben-anor trerennin
Si silivrin ne pherth 'waewib
Cenim lyth thílyn thuiennin.

A Elbereth Gilthoniel
Men echenim sí derthiel
Ne chaered hen nu 'aladhath
Ngilith or annún-aearath.

You sighed as his eyes slowly blinked and then he sighed softly and started to gasp and you gasped and pressed your hands against the wound and he groans in pain as the wound suddenly starts to glow. You closed your eyes and kissed his soft lips and felt him groan softly at the touch of your chapped lips.

You look down to pull your hands away and find the wound completely healed and not a scar lays upon his stomach. You gasp and laugh/gasp and kiss his soft lips in a hurried manner and suddenly you feel him kissing back and you closed your eyes and deepened the kiss by drawing yourself closer to his body upon the bed. Pulling away gasping for breath the thought hit you like an Oliphant, I'm in love with Haldir... then you said aloud as a breath of a whisper, "I'm in love with... Haldir?" Haldir's eyes opened slowly and you realize that you said that aloud and groan loudly after you place yourself above his navel. He groans loudly and says,"You know, If you wanted my attention... All you had to do was ask, right?" You giggle and peck his lips and say,"Isaliran thenar... I love you too much to even bother to ask..." Haldir smiles and kisses your lips delicately then rolls on top of you and starts to rub gently along your own navel and he groans as you arch your back lightly at his hardening and then you steal a quick kiss and grip him as he's about to start taking off your clothing and you gasp and hit him lightly and say,"No, not until we marry... Haldir! No gi melin but just no..." He smiles and says, "Lets marry in a week then... Please I need you to be mine..." You nod and he grins and laughs joyously and say,"losto vae, meleth nin..."

Chapter 19: After Our Mistakes - Thorin

Chapter Text

In life you never believed that there could be anything after your death. It was darkness, emptiness, nothingness. It was the end. Death ended it all and nothing would occur past that. However you were proven wrong. After your untimely death you ended up by the pearly gates with the ability to look down and roam around the land of the living.

No one could see you, but being able to stand by the dwarf you had been in love with in life and watch him tear up at your grave, it helped knowing he remembered you.

Sometimes it was infuriating though. Thorin had too much pride and didn’t care about what anyone else thought unless it worked alongside his beliefs. Hence why he ended up going to Erebor dragging his poor friends and family with him, even though it was clear all of them doubted their ability to take on a dragon.

It was nice to see them succeed, but you felt powerless when you couldn’t help.

Now he will join me. He would be reunited with you, and his nephews would join you too.

You waited until you could see them. It was clear they were shocked by what was held for them in their new life in death. It was slightly overwhelming.

“Y/N,” Thorin questioned.

It wasn’t clear whether he was going to pass out or cry, but he certainly didn’t hold the face of the strong and capable king you had come to love and slightly hate at times.

“Hello amralime. Welcome,” you smiled.

He reached out hesitant to touch your arm as though you were about to disappear at any second.

“You’re real,” he whispered.

“As real as you.”

Thorin pounced forward pulling you into his arms. Your eyes widened by the sudden movement, causing his nephews to laugh at your surprise.

“Did you miss me?” You laughed.

He pulled away trying to hold back the impending tears. Taking a step back he simply patted your shoulder.

“Of course not. I accepted your fate and moved onto other focuses as you would have wished me to have,” He said in a gruff tone.

You raised an eyebrow crossing your arms across your chest, as a grin curled onto your lips.

“You missed me. Yeah, that’s right, I saw you go to visit my grave every day, admit it,” you smiled triumphantly, until your tone dropped, “until you went off on that stupid quest of yours. You’re an idiot Thorin Oakenshield, you got yourself and your nephews killed. Dis will kill you twice over when her time comes.”

His face fell.

“Did you see everything?”

“Yes. I saw everything. And believe me, if I could have slapped you I would have. But let’s not dwell on what we cannot control now, and just be happy to be reunited. And I am pleased to see you two again, although I’d have preferred that to be in the future after you had lived full lives,” you smiled softly.

The two boys smiled back at you, as their uncle wrapped an arm around your shoulders.

“He may deny that he missed you, but he was a mess,” Kili piped up.

“You were all he could think about. He distracted himself with the quest,” Fili added.

You looked up at Thorin. You knew the truth but hearing it from his nephews made your heart swell.

“Enough about us. I do believe Vili would love to see you boys, and kick your arse Thorin. Frerin will also be pleased to see you,” you smiled.

“Our father is here?” Fili questioned, looking shocked but excited.

“Of course. All the deceased are here old and young alike. It is an eternity of being who you could never be in life.”

“Honestly sounds daunting, hey Y/n, why do you look so young?” Kili inquires with a confused gesture to my appearance. Shaking my head softly I let out a billowing sigh and look to Thorin who seems to look less angry with the world in my presence.

“Because I guess it's how this place is, I’ve seen people here I hardly recognize because of their youth. Believe me it is quite confusing.”

Kili nods softly and sees Fili’s jaw slack at the sight of his father and I nod to the boys and they rush off to Vili excitedly tackling him in their reunion. I smile softly and pivot to Thorin and slip a hand into his to console him. His eyes well with tears as he chuckles softly and pulls me closer with a gentle tug.

“Hold me amralime, till the sunset fades and beyond…”

“Indeed ghivashiel, I will obey your request. Through this world and the next.”

His warm chuckle at the words ignites my heart with the hope I had missed so dearly in his absence. The sunlight dipping below the hills of the fair lands I smile and plant a scorching kiss to his lips and feel him grip my waist and ass tightly at the feeling. As we break apart moments later I see his eyes fill with sorrow and pain as he murmurs.

“This could have been our lives, I’m sorry I let those orcs end you ghivashiel. So terribly sorry…”

“I forgive you my love, now please… Do not fret I am here.”
