Summary
Merlin flees his hometown for the big city and crashes with Gwen, his friend from university. As he settles in, he meets Gwen's new girlfriend Morgana, gets on the wrong foot with Morgana's ass of a brother, and finally tries to become a functioning adult.
Only, the bad dreams he's been having are getting worse, and the voice he keeps hearing in his head is getting louder...More than that, it seems like his new roommate may not just be the depressed, rich pretty boy he first appears to be. That there is something that lies beneath the surface of the city and the fragile understanding Merlin has of himself, his world, and the people around him.

merlin is poor and mildly on the run bc magic. gwengana recommend total mess and corporate heir arthur who needs a roommate bc he can’t stand to be alone but is terrible to live with. match made in heaven. the knights are arthur’s college buddies. merlin hears voices so follows them to a subway dragon who says he’s a megawizard. morgause love potions merlin so arthur snitches to his hater dad who gets morgause and morgana arrested. morgause tells morgana merlin is evil and they’re being reincarnated. merlin is sad and arthur is a simp so arthur and morgana team up to get the charges dropped. merlin follows the voices to mordred who gives him back his memories of the many times he has reincarnated them all. he tells percival and leon and makes lancelot remember -
