Chapter 1: A Sunset

Chapter Text

Kentaro wakes up peacefully, rubbing his eyes as he looks at the alarm.

9:10 A.M....

Fuck.

He knew he shouldn't have binge read that 145 chapter manga but damn it, it was worth it. Getting up as fast as he can he didn't even have breakfast, just toasting a bread and immediately dived into the tub like a dolphin.

Wiping himself with his towel and changing his clothes to his school ones, getting the toast out of the toast maker, almost burning his hand off and opened the door like a rabid animal.

Looking around, everyone seems to be gone from their dorms. "Damn it, I'm super late" running through the the school stairs and passing through the various amounts of doors he finally found his classroom.

Opening the door felt like an eternity, like awaiting your punishment like a death row inmate. The door opened wide as Kentaro shamefully lowered his head and rubbed his neck from the sheer embarrassment from being almost an hour late.

"Why hello there Kentaro, it seems like your late." Mononobe smiled at him as he puts down his chalk for a moment. "Take a seat Kentaro, don't be standing there like a deer in the headlights." He pointed to his seat as he started to write down their lecture.

Kentaro sat down in his chair, putting down his school necessities, "Now turn to page 234 for our next lesson, the different types of food therians find delicious." Putting attention to his book Kentaro turned to the page.

"Psst, hey Kentaro" Kengo, right beside Kentaro whispered to him, Kentaro leaned in to hear what he'll say.

"What made you so late partner? What were ya last night huh? Where ya having fun?" Kengo teased him as he snickers at him quietly, well not that quiet as Teacher Mononobe heard their little conversation.

"Now, can Mr. Takabushi stand up and answer the board please?" Dad-i mena Mr. Mononobe pointed to Kengo as the martial artist stutters to find a answer.

"U-um, Okonomiyaki?" The brawler answered.

"No Kengo, now does someone else have an answer?" Mononobe said back to the class as Ryota, the class eater raised his hand.

"It's Yakitori sir."

Mononobe nodded as he right returned back to the board with the chalk. "Correct Ryota, now back to the lesson on hand."

As class ends and goodbyes are said, we are left with our Summoners in their base.

"So.." Shiro adjusted his glasses like a anime character as he starts to question Kentaro, "What were you doing last night that you 40 minutes late to class Kentaro?" He raised up one of his brows at Kentaro.

"Yeah Kentaro, you were really late today, heck even Kengo arrived earlier than you, what happened?" Ryota questioned as the delicious onigiri sticks to his mouth like tape.

Kentaro rubbed his neck once more as he tries to explain, "Well I was just reading manga all night, must have lost track of the time I guess." Kentaro explained to them as Shiro goes Tenya mode.

"KENTARO, YOU MUSTN'T READ THAT LATE OR JUST STAY UP THAT LATE THAT'S VERY IRRESPONSIBLE OF YOU..."

Kentaro auto muted Shiro out because he didn't want to be lectured today.

Whilst Shiro was lecturing him, he staired out into the window, he saw beautiful sakura leaves fly by, birds chirping from the branches and trees beside the flowing water from the small fountain against it.

'At least nothing happened this day, well besides being late I guess.' The day of relaxation was finally given to the wanderer, a quiet solemn day for the summoner to flourish in.

A day where he can be a normal highschool student.

"KENTARO ARE YOU LISTENING TO ME-"

"Kyaaa, ok I get it now!"

The class president finally calmed down and let out a sigh of relief as he took a seat beside Kentaro.

"It seemed nothing really happened this day, don't you see?" He raised his glasses back up as he smiled at the outside. The rest of the summoners bustligna around and playing inside their secret base.

"Yeah.." Kentaro inhaled the breeze, the very calm and warm breeze.

The sun was finally setting, the day almost over. The Summoners flocked around the window as they let out their own warm smiles.

"What a quiet day it was."

6:00 P.M

The sun finally set, and the day is over.

Chapter 2: Tsathoggua Honey / Hot Springs

Summary:

I had nothing to do for a while so a short chapter i did.

Chapter Text

Tsathoggua was laying around in the VIP room playing games. You know, what every NEET does in his life. He was reaching for a jar of honey, grabbing it from his side as he drank from it. His lackeys were cleaning up the mess behind him, the sound of clunking and game noises was the only thing heard in the room.

After a few hours of just gaming, Tsathoggua was about to reach his jar of honey again, except…it was empty. Tsathoggua blinked as he slanted his big body in the futon. He reached for another jar of honey sweets and started to eat it again. He smiled as he won another round in his game.

Another day of being a NEET.

~~~~
The hot springs were relaxing Nomad’s muscles, it was an amazing feeling, he didn’t want to do anything but relax and live here. He was with Macan and his face shows that he was in heaven as well.
“This is everything i wanted.”
Macan said with a surprisingly quiet tone, Nomad nodded.
The sounds of footsteps were heard as a buff wolf transient appeared, it was Horkeu Kamui. He laid down on the hot water as he relaxed. Macan started talking to him.
“So you decided to relax too huh Kamui?”
Macan laughed wholeheartedly, Horkeu Kamui chuckled a bit as he nodded.
“So it seems Macan.”
Nomad was a bit annoyed from the voice of Macan so he started to lay down deeper in the water, with only his face showing with a bit of an annoyed look on his face.
‘You’re here too Nomad?”
Nomad nodded.
“Being a bodyguard and a detective really makes you stressed out, and this guy too.”
His eyes looked at Macan, as the green skinned tiger widley grinned. Nomad had a annoyed look on his face again. Horkeu Kamui laughed a bit as he nodded.
The three stopped talking as they relax in the hot springs.
Chapter 3: Sunny Day
Summary:
A peaceful and sunny day of Tokyo amidst all of it's chaos.
Chapter Text
"Taurus Mask wins another match!!"
The announcer shouts as the winner yells at the top of his lungs from his victory.
Kentaro cheered for his friend as he watched him from the screen, though shortly after that, a growl from his stomach was heard.
He was hungry.
Kentaro sighed as he rubbed his belly.
Checking out the fridge in the kitchen, he didn't find anything in it, just ice. The muscular man sighed again as he has to buy food outside in the scorching sun.
"Dammit.."
Walking off of campus, he walked throughout the street with an umbrella in hand.
Approaching the vending machine, Kentaro pushed in 5 ¥ to the socket as he pushed one of the cold drink buttons, specifically the "Orange Soda" one.
Grabbing his drink, he started to down on it with a gulp each second. In the corner of his eye he spots a familiar grey fur sitting on the bench across the street, looking at it with both of eyes now he flinched a bit.
It was Moritaka.
Finishing the can of soda he crossed the street as he shouts to the furball.
"Hey Moritaka, good afternoon!"
Moritaka was surprised a bit, he looked behind him as he saw Kentaro.
"Oh um, hey Kentaro." His tail waggled as Kentaro approached the transient.
"What are you doing here in the hot sun huh?"
Moritaka started to speak.
"Well, I just wanted to go out today."
Kentaro was surprised a bit from the response.
"Hmmm, really? Okay then."
Moritaka felt a bit awkward in the situation.
"I'll buy you a drink Moritaka. You must be pretty dehydrated sitting down the sun."
Moritaka nodded as Kentaro crossed the street again to get a drink. Moritaka slumped in the bench.
After a minute or so, Kentaro threw the drink at Moritaka. The doggo catching it with his fluffy hand, his tail waggling in the process.
Kentaro chuckled, Moritaka really is a dog. Moritaka opened the can as rested himself on the bench beside him.
The birds were chirping and the trees around the park were waving slowly.
Tokyo felt peaceful that day.
Chapter 4: Lights in Tokyo
Chapter Text
The waters were calm as the cries of the gulls echoes in the river. Kentaro's feet felt heavenly from the cold water, he really needed some calmness in these times. He sighed as he sat down on the sandy shore, his feet still in the water.
"It's really quiet here, I expected more people here in this time." Kentaro looked around, but to his surprise only a few people were in the beach. Kentaro sighed again as the sun shined on him, the waves were getting stronger, now reaching his knees, his pulled up jeans were a bit wet now.
"Oh come on." Kentaro pulled his jeans more high as the tide started to get higher. Kentaro just gave up and stood up, "I'll just go get some food." Kentaro started walking to one of the nearest restaurants.
"Maybe I'll buy some for Ryota, he'll like anything right?" Kentaro thought in his head as he started chowing down the takoyaki he bought.
The lights in Tokyo was dazzling as always, the guild leaders above must be more than pleased seeing these much lights, as Kentaro finishes the last piece of takoyaki, a familiar voice was heard behind him.
"Hey Kentaro!" Said person looked behind him, and there he saw Daisuke Ikusaba, aka Taurus Mask though the wrestler still doesn't know Kentaro knows his identity.
"Hey there Daisuke, what are you doing here." Kentaro threw the empty food cardboard in one of the trash bins. "Well, nothing really, I just wanted to go outside." Daisuke said in a sheepish voice. "How about you Kentaro?" Kentaro chuckled as he looked up to the sky.
"Nothing really I guess, I just wanted to go outside too, and relax." Daisuke nodded, he could understand the feeling. Drops of water started to fall from the sky, the two men ran to the nearest cover.
"It's already raining huh." Daisuke nodded. "But the lights are still beautiful." Kentaro chuckled. "They actually look better while raining."
"Wait what?"
"What?"
Daisuke was confused. "You think that the lights are better when raining." Kentaro nodded.
"Wh-h-how?!" Daisuke furrower his eyebrows, Kentaro put a finger in his chin. "Well, it looks shinier, anyways why are we even having this conversation?" Daisuke was about to retort but he resisted as he heard the last words of his friend's sentence.
"So, how was your wrestling match?" Daisuke had a surprised expression on his face. "Wha-what do you mean-"
"I know you're Taurus Mask." The loud raindrops suddenly became quiet as Daisuke strated to process what he said, meanwhile Kentaro was slightly chuckling and grinning from the green haired fellow.
"Wait I'm not Taurus Mask I swear!" Kentaro started laughing now, while Daisuke blushed hard. "You don't have to keep pretending you know, it's fine."
Daisuke's throat was in knots from what he said, until he finally sighed. "Was it obvious?" The green haired man scratched his head.
"Yup, it was pretty obvious." Daisuke was embarrassed even further. "From your hair to your voice, oh and your height too-"
"No! You don't have to tell every detail!" Daisuke cut him off. Kentaro simply laughed again from his friend, they didn't even notice that the rain already stopped.
Daisuke couldn't speak, his face was burning up too, but before it became awkward Kentaro grabbed his hand, Daisuke looking up, he was surprises to see that the rain was already over.
"Well, let's go Daisuke." Kentaro had a big smile on his face, it was the first time Daisuke smiled as wide as he has, and it was infectious.
In the end, Daisuke's embarassment faded away, like the rain.
Chapter 5: A Better Love Story than Twilight
Summary:
Ellie and Kentaro because why not and because wish fullfillment sue me :)).
Chapter Text
Kentaro was breaking the rules again, by not following curfew and walking around the park in the night. He was getting a chocolate bar from the vending machine and wandering the park again, the night was still young so he had time to waste.
The crunching sound and the cold air was the only sounds in the entire park, while Kentaro was enjoying his food, footsteps were heard behind him. Turning around the silhouette of someone walking towards him.
The light of the vending machine managed to make out the silhouette a bit more clear, Kentaro was surprised at what she was doing here.
"Hello?" He questioned to the person.
The light from above the pole revealed the shadow. There stood a vampire girl with a hoodie.
"I didn't expect you to be here Kentaro." The girl asked as she played with the lollipop in her mouth. "I could say the same to you." Kentaro retorted at her as he sat down at the bench beside the machine. "I just came here to relax that's all. " She took a seat beside him.
"You come to relax in the night? You're definitely a vampire."
Ellie simply nodded as she licked her lolipop in luscious licks. Kentaro was flustered from the sounds, as evident from how pink his face looked right now.
"How about you Kentaro? Why do you come here at night?"
Kentaro scratched the back of his neck, he honestly didn't know why he went here.
"I don't really know, I guess I just acted by impulse I guess."
Ellie laughed a bit from his answer.
"Happens to the best of us."
Kentaro was baffled by Ellie's answer.
"You do that too?"
Ellie likced the lolipop again lusciously, Kentaro's face was blushing again.
"Of course I do, i remember buying a keychain for god knows what reason."
Kentaro was baffled again by the vampire.
"I'll walk you to your school." She threw the empty lolipop at the trash can as she stood up. She gestured for Kentaro to do the same, he simply sighed.
"If you're okay with that." He scratched his nape again. "But isn't Kabukicho kinda far from here?" Ellie had a disappointed look on her face hearing that from Kentaro.
"I walked from Kabukicho to here, in the park, it's not that far you idiot." She had a bit of a condescending tone in her voice.
"Ah, sorry sorry.* Kentaro apologized to her, Ellie simply shrugged and her expression changed to a more neutral one. "Well, it's not that much of a big deal anyways."
She had her hands in the pockets of her jacket. Kentaro smiled afterwards. They were almost halfway to the school.
"So how's your guild been doing lately?" Kentaro tries to have another conversation going, but Ellie could see through his act, not that it matters, she didn't really mind.
"We've been doing good lately, but how about your guild? You've been in extra trouble this month." Kentaro was embarrassed a bit from her reply. "Yeah, we can't just catch a break."
Ellie laughed at his embarrassed expression. "You're like a magnet for trouble."
"I already know that Ellie." Ellie laughed even more.
"You don't have to laugh that much you know." He scratched his nape for the third time in the night. "It's fun seeing your face get this pink." She stopped in her tracks as Kentaro did as well, they were already in the front of the school.
"Well, this night was entertaining." Kentaro had a different answer to that, Ellie could see from his embarrassed face. "Guess this is goodbye." She turned around to the direction of Kabukicho.
"But one last thing." Kentaro was surprised, but as he started to process what she meant, she kissed him on the lips. Kentaro's face was even more pink now.
Each second felt like an eternity, alas she withdrew. Ellie simply smiled as she turned around to go back home. Kentaro stood there like a statue.
A few seconds of silence was followed by Kentaro's flustered cries. He ran to his dorm as fast as he could, he couldn't believe what happened today.
He had trouble sleeping that night.
Chapter 6: It'll be ok.
Notes:
I did this instead of sleeping.
Chapter Text
The flipping of papers was the only thing heard in the teacher's office. Mononobe was stuck grading papers. Most of the students as well as the teachers were already heading towards the town's festival. Mononobe chuckled trying to imagine Triton, Jinn and his students wearing yukatas and kimonos, though the silence did provide Mononobe time to think about what was happening in Tokyo.
He knew that the good and happy times were gonna come to an end soon, he can't keep count at how many loops it was now. He thought about Kentaro, his child and his most loved person in the world. He knows that he'll face lots of obstacles in the future, and Mononobe was afraid. He can't fathom something happening to Kentaro. Mononobe sighed and tried not to think about it much.
The sun was about to set and Mononobe was packing the papers in one single line. He stood up as he closed the door to the office. The sound of his shirt's button coming off was heard. "Damn shirt.." He tried to put the button together yet he failed from how tight it was, so he just gave up trying.
Walking through the school's hallways made the teacher reminisce on his past, when everything was still okay and when the game didn't exist yet. Mononobe took a cigarette from his pocket and lit up just outside the door. Looking up, he realized that the usual black sky was replaced by the lights of the festival.
Opening the door to his room, he put down his bag and belongings and went to his cabinet to get himself a yukata to wear. Maybe going to the festival can ease his mind, he thought.
The walk to the festival wasn't anything worth talking about, though he did feel joy from seeing all his students and the kids being happy. "Hey, Mononobe-sensei!" He heard Triton's voice reaching out to him. Mononobe waves at them. He chuckled a bit from seeing the two of them in yukatas, even though they were almost always naked at the school.
"You look like you're enjoying yourself Sensei." Jinn said as the three of them walked together. "Of course, I'm happy to see our students being happy." Jinn and Triton nodded. Mononobe looked around his surroundings and saw Kentaro and his friends laughing together. He stopped and smiled. "Mononobe-sensei?" The both of them looked behind them and saw him looking at his left.
They looked in the same direction and saw their students having fun. They too, smiled at the sight. "Let's just hope that they won't get in any trouble." Triton said. "Oh, who are we kidding, they're probably gonna get into some." Jinn replied. As much as how Triton wanted it to retort to his words, he knew that his words were gonna come true.
The sounds of fireworks was heard in the distance, all three of them looked towards the sky. The fireworks spread spread wide like a bird's wings. It seemed so....euphoric, that was the only word Mononobe could piece together to describe it, even though he has seen fireworks before.
The thoughts of worry was pushed back to the back of his mind. He only thought about what was happening at this moment, and that put him at ease.
"Maybe everything will be ok in the end." Mononobe mumbled to himself. The fireworks ended a few minutes after, signifying the end of the festival.
Mononobe laid on his bed, and slept after laying for just a few seconds. He slept peacefully that night. Not thinking of anything else.
Chapter 7: Don't doubt yourself, ok?
Summary:
Licht thinks his art is not enough for Melusine, she encourages him.
Notes:
A quick and short one today. Hope you guys enjoy, also if it's OOC, it's because i've actually haven't seen them in the game yet, only through tumblr posts and the wiki.
Chapter Text
Licht pushed his brush swiftly on the canvas, he was drawing a picture of Melusine, with her standing in the middle of the room, sitting in a chair with her hands sitting in her lap and her eyes closed and it’s now his fifth try doing so. Licht painted in light strokes. After half an hour, Licht was still unsatisfied with his drawing, throwing the canvas aside. He scratched his head in frustration and anger, after a few seconds, he felt a hand in his shoulders. It was Melusine.
“It doesn’t have to be perfect Master.” She said with a bit of a blunt tone. Licht sighed. “I know, but none of them are even good in the first place.” He placed his hand on his head and scratched his forehead. Melusine sighed. “You shouldn’t doubt yourself over that Master Licht. “ She laid down beside him, grabbing the nearby chair. She placed a hand on his big back. Licht was surprised by her action.
“Melusine?” She started to rub it now. “Doubting yourself will just lead to more problems. “ She stared at him, he did as well. “I also think that you’re wasting too much canvases, it’s a waste of money Master.” Licht was a bit embarrassed from what she said, but nonetheless her words gave him some resolve. “Alright, i won’t doubt myself this time.” Melusine stood up and went back to her chair, now with a smile on her face.
He end product of the art was slightly mediocre when seen by anybody else, but to Melusine and Licht, it was good enough for them to place it above her bed.
Chapter 8: The Crafters
Notes:
I did this in under two hours in the afternoon so that's why it's trashy and cringe but I hope some of y'all can enjoy this hot garbage.
Chapter Text
The sounds of panting, grunting and the clinking of steel is heard around the entire building. Kurogane tries his hardest to lift the barbell with Amatsumara encouraging him from behind him.
"Go on Kurogane, do you think that you'll be a decent blacksmith if you can't even lift?" The older man shouted. Kurogane's resolve strengthen as his muscles bulged in response. The drops of sweat coming from his body falls to the ground as Kurogane's body rises and was able to lift the barbell.
Amatsumara grins as Kurogane went back in forth, lifting the barbell up and down in swift patternsz eventually he put down the equipment as his rough body glistened with sweat and shined like a Greek God. "Alright, Tvastar it's your turn!" The almost bald man stood up and stretched his muscly arms. "Alright alright." This was the everyday routine for the three of them though Hephaestus and Takemaru does join in sometimes.
In the other room, the sound of sparks as well as colliding metal. Hephaestus sighed from relief as he finishes his usual fix of Talos. He stares deeply into his creation as his thoughts drift away. "I wonder what Mama is doing." He leaned back on his working chair. He couldn't really nap from all the noises coming from the other rooms though but that's just what happens in the Crafters and has gotten used to it by now.
Takemaru was fixing the broken side of their base since it was destroyed by one of Tvastar's experiments, though he was having a bit of a hard time from all the shouting of Amatsumara. "Can you tone it down Grandpa!" The oni shouted. "Alright alright I'll tone it down grandson." Takemaru was a bit embarrassed from what he said yet that didn't stop him from his work.
In conclusion, the Crafters are loud as fuck, except for like, Hephaestus I guess, but to be honest that's why we love them....or not.
Chapter 9: Jiangshi End
Summary:
Tetsuox, after the Jiangshi Festival, confesses to Makoto (MC4). From my Tumblr request.
Chapter Text
Tetsuox stood there, naked with only a fundoshi on. MC3 was blushing a little from the sight, though his thoughts was pulled away from his body and onto the big package below. "Hey, Tetsuox what's this package here?" Tetsuox looked down as he grabbed and package and unwrapped it whole. "Oh this?" The package opened and sweets was revealed to be inside.
"Oh yeah, I have some sweets to give ya, I musta forgotten it!" He picked from the huge arrays of sweets and gave it to your lanky hands. "This Halloween thing is a holiday when you dress up and scare some folks to givin' ya some candy and stuff right?" He chuckled. You nodded in response.
"Yeah, well I kinda scared everybody off with this little costume, and look at all the spoils that I got!" He remembers what happened earlier with him trick or treating in the festival.
"Oh and here take as much as you want by the way!" He grabs more as he puts in on your hands again. You blushed a bit from how much he was giving you. "Aw, thanks for the sweets Tetsuox." He smiled ear to ear from your response. "Anyways, we're all done doing costumes and tricking kids right?" You nodded. "Yep, we are." He chuckled a bit, recalling the happy things that happened today. "It's the first time I've done this sorta stuff y'know." The time of his voice softened a bit, and you noticed.
"And it's real fun gettin' to hang out with you and have fun." You smiled, you haven't seen him this soft spoken before. "I had a blast too Tetsuox." He smiled. "I'm happy you're happy too." He chuckled from all the emotions that was pouring out of him. "I bet you have a lot of fun days like these, y'know, I skip a lot of classes, but if you were a student here, maybe I'll even go to school."
You didn't know that you had that kind of effect on him. "Sharing the same dorms, sharing the happy memories, and the sad ones too." His hands was trembling, as he looks down with a bit of a disappointed face. "I could've gone to Umamichi." Tetsuox was surprised from what he said. "Wh-What, wait were you taking me seriously?" You thought about it, and nodded. "Well it could've happened you know." You scratched your nape.
"Hey, you know, even if there really is a world like that, then it wouldn't be us." You shakes your head in denial. "No Tetsuox, I know that world exists." You held his rough hands in yours. "Wh-What do you mean and why are you so sure?" His face was a bit pink now, but you smiled even so. "Because that world, is this one!" You declared to him. It felt like time stopped for the both of you. Tetsuox processed what you just said, and that made his entire body tremble. He couldn't take it anymore.
He hugged you tightly, you hugging as well. "Makoto, will you, will you go out with me!" He shouted. You were astonished by his words, he hugged you even tighter, with you reciprocating the hug even more. "Of course I'll go out with you." You said in his ear. The moment he heard that sentence, it felt like a miracle happened for him. He was so happy. Though the hug didn't last long as Makoto seemed to struggle in Tetsuox's grip. "Oh, uh I'm sorry." He apologizes as Makoto dismisses it. "N-No, it's ok."
The both of you relaxed and breathed, Tetsuox rubbed the back of his neck as he asks you again. "So, how about that restaurant just the other side of the school." Makoto nodded. "That's fine by me." Tetsuox smiled as he smiled from ear to ear again. This was the best day for him, and Makoto felt the same.
Chapter 10: Asakusa Night
Summary:
Motosumi and Kentaro share a romantic moment with each other, though they got interrupted in the process. Another request from my tumblr.
Chapter Text
“What about you Mr. Kentaro? Do you like Motosumi?” The almost bald blue haired kid asked. Kentaro smiled. “Of course i do.” the kid looked away. “Uh, umm, i would be really happy if you…liked Motosumi even more!” he blurted out the last few words in a bit of a shout. Kentaro nodded. “Alright, i’ll do it, i promise.” You patted the kid’s head as he smiles a bit. The sun was setting and both of them had to go back to the temple now.
“I finally won everyone!” You shouted as the kids jump in unison. “Good job Kentaro, Today was pretty fun but we’re getting sleepy.” the other kids nodded. All three of them went inside the temple, passing by Motosumi. “They must’ve been so happy to see you Kentaro.” The oni smiled. ‘You really think so?” Kentaro was pretty unsure about what Motosumi said. “Of course i do, look, the kids are already asleep.” He pointed to the sleeping kids behind him. “Anyways, can you take care of these two right here?’ He asked you as he handed you both of the onis. You nodded, taking both of them in your hands.
“Gotta tuck the three of them real quick.” You nodded and complied as you handle the two babies on your own for a bit. After a few minutes, Motosumi returned. “Alright i’m done, you can give back both of them now.” you handed them back to him, as both of them were suddenly worked up all of a sudden. “Oh, i didn’t realize what time it is, i better get going Moto.” He nodded as he tries to calm the babies down. “Alright, see ya tomorrow Kentaro!” the two babies cried in disagreement, Motosumi noticed this. “You don’t want him to leave?” he had a bit of a surprised expression on his face. “You don’t want him to leave?” the two of them nodded a bit in response.
You scratched your nape. “I mean, i can stay for the night, i already told the dorm that i’m out so they won’t mind.” Motosumi tried to insist that you didn’t have to, but he eventually accepted it. The both of you had gone to the temple and he told you to go for a shower as he went to get dinner. “You wanna get in too Moto?” he scoffed at you. “You ain’t a kid anymore, you can do on your own.” You try to coy him more, eventually he gave in. “FIne fine, just wait a minute alright.” Both undressed as they enter the bathroom.
He tucked the two babies on the bed as he sat down. “Hey Motosumi, do you…watch the kids all day here?”Motosumi shook his head. “Nah, you must think that i don’t go to school right?” you thought that you were subtle, yet you were found out really fast. You nodded your head in embarrassment, but Motosumi just grinned from ear to ear. “You really shouldn’t worry about me, i’m doing fine.” The rest of the conversation was about Umamichi Academy, although the subject seemed boring, Kentaro listened attentively to every word. “You know i figure all kids need parental figures in their lives, they can’t really be happy otherwise.” he looked at the sleeping babies as he recalls his memories.
“We may not be related by blood, but they’re my kids. You get what i’m saying?” You nodded at him. Motosumi suddenly put his hand on his face. “Ugh, why am i getting sappy about this, but i get what you’re doing, you’re just looking out for me right?” You nodded in response as he ruffles your hair and flashed you a big smile.” You reciprocated with rustling his hair as well. “H-hey, do know how long it took for the hair to-” Before he could finish his sentence, you just smiled at him, sighing he gently touches your hand. “Well whatever, i can fix it later…yeah that’s the spot, more to the left alright?” you angled your hands to the left as his face looked more and more in bliss.
“Anyways, what exactly did you come back to the temple today?” he asked as you stopped ruffling his hair. “Well, it’s just that…i like you a lot Motosumi.” The oni was surprised from your words. “Wh-Huh?!” he shouted a bit.”What about you? Do you..like me back?” your face was a shade of pink by now. Motosumi still couldn’t believe what you were saying.”Y-you know i need time to give you an answer!” He shouted, not realizing he awoke the kids in the other room. “The kids are sleeping in the other room you know? They shouldn’t be hearing this type of stuff.” You chuckled a bit from his response. “The folks here in Asakusa don’t go around gossiping who they like and stuff, if they wanna do something, they just do it.” You didn’t know if that was a invitation for a kiss, though that was the first thing you thought as he blushed, yet your body moved on it’s own, moving closer to kissing him.
“H-hey Motosumi, i need to go to the potty.” one of them said in a drowsy tone. “Is there dinner yet Motosumi? Oh, hello Kentaro what are you doing here?” Kentaro scratched the back of his neck in response, embarrassed from what the kids were seeing. “Two beefy men in kissing range isn’t something they should be seeing, for now.” Both of them thoguht
“Crud, i didn’t realize you guys were awake, let’s go together and i’ll go put some food, just wait a minute.” he stood up as he went to go to the bathroom and the kitchen. After a few minutes, the oni returned, he laid down on the futon beside you. “Anyways where we-” Before he could blurt out the rest of his sentence, he was suddenly kissed in the lips. Kentaro withdrew after a minute or so. “You know, i won’t mind moving in with you, i have a soft spot for kids you know.” Kentaro said soft spokenly, and in a romantic tone at that. Motosumi retaliated with a deep kiss in response. After that, the both of them slept on the same futon, hugging each other and with a smile on both of their faces.
Chapter 11: In the Stage, We Shine like Angels.
Summary:
Misaki (MC2) and Gabriel performs a duet, also sappy as fuck. Request from Tumblr as well. The song is "A Million Miles Away" from the soundtrack of the anime movie directed by Mamoru Hosoda, "Belle".
Chapter Text
Misaki (MC2) stood there with Gabriel, her hands were intertwined with the idol’s. They were both about to go on stage, and the audience was huge, there was an awful lot of people she knew there, like Claude, Ophion, Lucifuge, Hakumen, and obviously Hati as well. She knew she couldn’t back out now, she gripped Gabriel’s hands tighter, and she started to sweat. “Let’s do our best Misaki.” Gabriel muttered to her partner, Misaki shifted her head towards Gabriel, the idol had a fierce face and a fire in her eyes. Misaki knew she had to have the same resolve as hers, and the nervous feeling she had has already faded away. The light shined in the center of the stage, they were up. The two took a step towards the stage together, the audience cheered, glancing towards the audience, she could feel the members of her guild as well as other people cheer for her. Her eyes widened, and a fierce fire burned in her eyes. She grinned. “I’ll make this concert something they’ll remember, for a long time.” Gabriel could sense her passion. The song had started to play. The melancholic sound had driven the audience to silence as Misaki took a step forward and let out a deep breath.
“Light glimmers in a flower.”
Misaki delivered the line gracefully, and some of the audience had their mouths gape wide open from her voice alone.
“Like jewels in a dream.”
She took a deep breath once more.
“The sky breathes life, love to everything.”
Gabriel took a step towards the audience, aligning herself beside Misaki as she started to sing together with her.
“At times i’ve thought “I’m not enough”.
Hati had started to wave around his glowsticks towards the two.
“The chains that tied my heart.”
“But there’s still a path that lies ahead.”
“For you, and I.”
The voices of the two women had started to harmonize with each other.
“Memories fade away, clouds of yesterday.”
“With no one to love.”
“Is this life worth living.”
The crowd had started to illuminate with lights.
“Come back to me, and stay by my side.”
“I feel my heart shake, come ease this ache.”
The last phrase described what Misaki had felt, standing together with Gabriel.
“I’m standing over here, reaching for you.”
“A million miles away, come back and stay.”
“No matter how far the memories may be.”
Misaki had started to recall all of the memories of living in Tokyo, her voice unwavering as Gabriel had started to pick up the pace herself.
“When i close my eyes, you’re all that i see.”
Misaki closed her eyes.
“Come back to me!”
“A million miles away, come back and stay.”
The instrumental had carried on for a few seconds as Gabriel had started to hum as well.
“Lalalala, La lalala, La lalala.”
Her voice, so elegant had started to ring inside the stage. After a while, the melancholic piano was accompanied by other instruments.
Misaki took a step forward again.
“Sing, let your heart soar! Sing forever!”
Misaki’s heart had started to let out all of her doubts, and she spread her arms in excitement.
“Sad and so happy! Feelings flow over!”
Gabriel had joined in with her as well, spreading her wings as her emotions took over her as well.
“Now our world is full of, all kinds of colors.”
The audience was floored by their current performance, the ones with glowsticks with them waved their sticks fast, trying to keep up with the pace, and the emotions.
“Closing my eyes, I can still see the stars.”
Misaki felt like an angel, dancing and singing, she never knew that this night would be so much fun, Gabriel had felt the same. Grabbing Misaki’s hands as they reach out their hands towards the audience.
“Shine in the sky, sing their harmony!”
“Flowers, they’re blooming! Oh it’s beautiful!”
“Sing! Sing! Sing!” Both Misaki and Gabriel had shouted to the audience, they had to put their hands up and started to pump their fists to the beat of the music.
“Sing this song i won’t stop now!”
Both of them shouted as high as they can, their voices resonating with the hearts of the audience as some had started to tear up a bit from their performance.
“Sing it through, i love you!”
The two had taken one last deep breath.
“The voice carries on!”
Their voices had toned down, as it echoes in the stage. The both of them felt like angels in the stage, yes, that’s what Misaki had thought they were.
They were angels in the stage.
The song had ended, and the audience cheered. Some stood up and clapped and some were overtaken by their own emotions and has started to cry. Misaki gripped Gabriel’s hands in hers. They both knew that this night is gonna be remembered, and Misaki smiled in happiness, her eyes had started to swell up, though she didn’t do anything to stop it, she let the tears flow.
Gabriel smiled at Misaki, she too gripped Misaki’s hands as the both of them bowed.
Chapter 12: Cake for you.
Summary:
Babalon asks Surtr to teach her how to bake. Apologies if it's OOC, i haven't encountered them yet in the main quest.
Chapter Text
The sound of panting was heard around the kitchen in the Genocider’s base. Surtr stirred the bowl up and down in circles as the heat in his helmet becomes steam. He was about to put the dough in the oven, a ringing sound across the hard kitchen surface was heard as it vibrated. The giant quickly putting the cake in the oven as he grabbed the phone. “Babalon”, he sighed, thinking what blasphemous reason that harlot has to decide to call him. Answering the phone he put in his…ears. “What is it you harlot?” he questioned, Babalon sighed hard. “This might be the most profane action i have ever committed in my life, but i require your assistance.” Surtr processed her words for a sec, then laughed his entire heart out for an entire minute. Babylon was furious, she slapped her forehead, disappointed in herself and angry with the pig in the other side of the phone.
Surtr’s laughter died down as he asked Babalon. “What ungodly reason might you need me for all of people?” He had a bit of a grin in his face whilst he said that. Babalon sighed hard again. “I need you to help me bake a cake for my child.” Surtr’s grin was wiped off his face, now replaced with confusion. “You want me to…help you bake?” Babalon let out a “mmf’ sound. Surtr let out a bit of a muffled sound, it sounded like he was crying, and he was. The tears were evaporated immediately as he immediately agreed to do it. “I’ll do it, i, the great Surtr will assist you in your cooking!” The red giant shouted in pride.
Babalon knew this was a mistake, yet she couldn’t disappoint Kentaro. She was doing all of this for him. The rest of her day consisted of the Surtr teaching her the basics of baking, though Babalon didn’t enjoy being with Surtr and teaching her in the surface, she kinda enjoyed it a bit deep down. Arc watched in the sidelines as the both of them finally had the time to bond with each other, though they don’t know if it actually was bonding time, more like a roasting session. Nevertheless, Arc was happy with just them interacting, albeit mostly negatively. Azathoth watched as well, popcorn in hand.
At the end of the day, Babalon finally made an adequate cake. She smiled, hoping that the cake was enough for Kentaro to enjoy. “A glorious cake you have baked Babalon!” Surtr pridefully shouted. “My name isn’t worthy enough for you to utter, but today i’ll make an exception.” Surtr laughed a bit from her reaction. ‘Well then, better hurry up Babalon, else that cake will be all for nothing.” Babalon grinned. “I know.” The cake was wrapped in a large enough casing with a ribbon in the surface.
Kentaro took a bite from the cake, munching it down as he gulped. He let out a his hand with his thumb up, indicating he liked it. Babalon chuckled and let out a grin. “Why thank you dear.” Kentaro spoke. This is pretty good Babalon!.” He cut a slice of it and turned the spoon towards Babalon. “You should have a slice too you know.” Babalon chuckled again from his action, opening her mouth as she ate the cake. It was pretty good. For the first time, Babalon felt something other than hate towards Surtr.
Chapter 13: A Boring Day in Tokyo
Summary:
Hana (MC2) was bored, so she decided to roam around a forest.
Chapter Text
The cicadas were echoing around the forest, as well as sounds of creaking water. Hana (MC2) looked around the area, finding insects and more small ponds as she continued to roam around. Why was she doing here in the forest? Simple, she was bored.
Hana sighed. "The days usually aren't THIS quiet." She said to the blue sky, though she does admit that the day was pretty relaxing for her. She laid down on a hard piece of rock, resting a bit before exploring again. She looked at her hand and saw that her fingertips were getting pretty red. "Must've been from the rocks." Before she knew it, a tiny ladybug landed on her palm.
It looked like any ladybug, a few black spots with some red, and a black line separating the sides of it's wings. Hana smiled, she poked it, then grabbing it with her fingertips, before she could examine the little bug, it flew away to the forest. Hana stood up and stretched her arms out. "Alright, time to explore again."
She looked around for a few minutes, in those minutes she managed to find more ponds on the, and some bugs on the way as well. Eventually she found a nearby waterfall, she expected to see one in the area but what she didn't expect was that somebody was washing in it. She moved closer towards in the direction of the waterfall, squinting her eyes she tries to decipher who was it. She widened her eyes as she finally saw who it was.
It was Hogen, and he was washing himself naked.
She covered her eyes as her face was filled to the brink with pink, she ran in the opposite direction, embarrassed from what she saw. "Ho-Hogen was there and HE WAS NAKED." She ran and ran, still replaying what she saw just a few seconds ago.
Hogen in the other hand was enjoying himself, oblivious to Hana's accidental voyeurism.
Hana stopped running as she laid down on the stairs of a nearby shrine, still embarrassed from what she saw. "H-Hogen looked pr-pretty good actually-" Before she could think of anything more she slaps herself as she tries to convince herself not to think of anything lewd. "NO HANA, YOU SHOULDN'T THINK ABOUT AN OLDER MAN LIKE THAT, ESPECIALLY HOGEN!" She shouted to the sky, again.
Though she didn't realize that someone was at the shrine. "Hana?" A familiar voice called out to her from behind, she looked at the direction of the voice and saw Tajikarao. "T-Tajikarao?" He stopped what his cleaning as he raised his hand up and saluted. "At your service." Hana sighed and asks him some questions. "Why are you here, in this shrine?" Tajikarao let a smile. "Hogen-sensei told me to clean this shrine." Hana expected that to be honest.
"How about you Ms. Hana?" Hana scratches her cheek and chuckled nervously. "Well, just roaming I guess, today's a pretty boring day." Tajikarao nodded at her words. "I understand." Hana laughed a bit from his actions. "Would you like to rest here a bit?" He asked her, seeing how bruised she kinda looks. 'Must've been from the vibes and trees.' He thought.
Hana accepted his offer. "Alright, thanks Tajikarao." The officer nodded. "My pleasure." She laid down in one of the wooden stairs in front of the shrine, while she watched Tajikarao raking the leaves in front of the shrine. Hana leaned back, her entire body falling as she was lost in thoughts, she eventually slept after a few minutes. Tajikarao smiled at her.
"I'm back!" The loud voice was heard from the expansive trees. It was Hogen. "You done raking the leaves Tajikarao?" Tajikarao nodded in denial as she salutes at him. "Not yet Hogen-sensei." Hogen shrugged at the police officer. He was too serious. He looked around as he saw someone laying down in one of the benches. It was Hana.
He smiled. "Guess we had a guest here." Surprisingly enough, he didn't grope her when she was unconscious. Though he did tease her when she awoken from her slumber. That sounded more dramatic than what I expected.
Chapter 14: Umamichi Bathhouse
Summary:
Cross-posted on Tumblr.
Notes:
There's barely any love for my boi Sarutahiko.
Chapter Text
The hot water of the Umamichi Bathhouse washed away the worry of Sarutahiko as he laid down after a few hours of working in the bathhouse. He sighed as he laid his head back from relief and in ecstasy. "The water is so soothing." He said, particularly to no one.
After a few minutes, a customer showed up. Sarutahiko stood up as he greeted the person. "Welcome to Umamichi Bathhouse." He bowed to them, not yet seeing their face, but as he finishes the bow and looked up he widened his eyes a bit. It was Motosumi, a classmate of his. "Hey there Sarutahiko." He greeted him.
Motosumi laid down on the hot water as he sighed out of relief. "This hits the spot." Sarutahiko was relieved by his remark. "Good to know." Motosumi looked up at the transient. "I didn't see you go to our class earlier, are ya skipping class or somethin'?" He said to the part-timer. Sarutahiko simply chuckled at his words. "I could say the same to you y'know?" Motosumi looked away from him as a bead of sweat appeared on the oni's face. "How's the kids by the way?" Sarutahiko laid down to the bath beside Motosumi.
"The runts are being runts." The gruff voice of the oni was heard around the room. "But they're doing fine I guess." The gruffness of his voice was replaced with a soft one. Sarutahiko smiled at the sudden shift. "Ya still didn't answer my question." The oni switched back to his rough voice in a matter of seconds. "I've been unmotivated to go to school lately, plus more and more people have been using the bathhouse." Motosumi nodded. "Must be hard to juggling all y're stuff." Sarutahiko sighed and nodded at the oni's words.
Their talk had stopped and after a few awkward silence, there appeared a new customer to use the bathhouse. Motosumi stood up after an hour or so. "I'll have to go now, see ya later." He grabbed his towel as he waved goodbye to the transient. Sarutahiko waved goodbye as well in response.
It was already nighttime and the bathhouse was about to close. Sarutahiko was the only person in the bathhouse. Closing the lock he grabbed his stuff and started walking back to his house. It was just another day for the transient, still he smiled, he looked forward for tomorrow and what it might bring to him.
Chapter 15: At Cafe Asterism
Notes:
Two fics in a day baby. Also I'm desperate for feedback lol, I'm just very insecure about my writing.
Chapter Text
The sound of a bell jingling was heard, set up from the top of a door in front of Cafe Asterism. Shinya looked towards the door as he gazed upon a familiar sight, it was one of his friends, it was Kentaro. Shinya smiled at him, as he always does to all of the cafe's customers.
"Welcome back to Cafe Asterism Kentaro, what do you like from the menu today?" He asked the student as Kentaro sat down on one of the chairs. "I'll have a coffee, and some taiyaki Shinya." Shinya nodded as he went in the back of the cafe.
Kentaro whistled as he looked around the cafe, it was just the same as before. Wooden chairs with tables in the middle, a big rectangular table with some glass separating two sides for the staff to take the customer's orders, and a painting of a green bamboo on the wall for decoration, or that's what Kentaro thinks, he doesn't really know what it's for.
Shinya came back after a few minutes, now with Kentaro's order. He laid the coffee down Kentaro's table, alongside the sweets he ordered. "Thanks for the food too Shinya, oh would you like to eat with me too Shinya?" Said boy had a O shape on his face, he thought it through and after a while he decided to say yes to the offer. "Alright then Kentaro, if you don't mind." He sat down beside Kentaro.
Kentaro realized that the taiyaki's design was a bear, he couldn't help but smile from how cute it was. The coffee too had a cute design imprinted on it, it was a hear shot by an arrow, he chuckled a bit from the design. "Looks like you're having fun huh Kentaro?" Shinya remarked towards him, Kentaro nodded. "Yup, the cafe designs are just so cute." Shinya smiled a bit from his words. "Thanks a lot, Taromaiti suggested it." Shinya was pretty grateful for his co-worker, a lot of customers have been coming in from her idea.
"That's pretty neat of her." Shinya nodded in agreement. "So hei about you Shinya? How are you these past few days huh?" Kentaro took a sip from the coffee, it had a very creamy taste to it. "I've been doing pretty good lately Kentaro." Shinya took a bite off of the taiyaki. "How about you Kentaro?" Kentaro scratched the back of his neck. "Well, I wouldn't say it's great, bit it's definitely interesting." Tokyo hasn't been kind to the poor teen, to say the least.
Their conversation continued for a while, thoigh it eventually died down, though they didn't really mind the silence, it was a bit therapeutic for the both of them, maybe they just needed a break from all the crazy stuff the city of Tokyo has been raining upon him. Ths atmosphere was so calm and comfy that they could both sleep in peace.
Though the both of them might have had a comfy and peaceful time, Kalki didn't. He was staring daggers towards Kentaro, not that said person ever noticed, or needed to in the first place. Nevertheless, the day was as peaceful as ever, though Kentaro knew that peace was temporary and that he needed to save the city again from danger.
Chapter 16: Neighbor
Summary:
Takes place after 4 years of leaving Tokyo, don't think about it too much okay?
Chapter Text
Kentaro sighed, he opened the door to his dorm, seeing all of the appliances and the furniture around. He lays down on bed as he unties his bun, uncurling to find that his hair was longer than he expected. “I should go get a haircut someday.” He looked towards the ceiling, contemplating what happened today, he missed all of the things in Tokyo, the park, the giant beams of light, and all of the trouble and adventures he went through with his friends, before he could realize his eyes started to tear up, he wiped the tears away as some still spill out of his broad hands.
“I shouldn’t dwell on the past, i have to sleep.” He had an important test to take tomorrow and he couldn’t afford to fail it, he thought about pulling an all-nighter but he knows he’ll just forget if he doesn’t get enough sleep. Kentaro’s mind started to drift into sleep, but before he could finally sleep he was interrupted by a sound on the door, someone was knocking. “Come in.” Kentaro half-shouted as the door unlocked itself. The figure revealed to be Kentaro’s best friends in Tokyo, Shiro Motoori and he was holding a plate of seemingly hot mapotofu.
“Good evening Shiro, um why do you have some food there?” Shiro sighed from his words. “It’s mapotofu, for you and me.” Shiro closed the door behind him as he gave the plate to Kentaro. The boy smiled from the kind gesture. “Um, thanks Shiro.” Said man adjusted his glasses a bit and sat down besides Kentaro. “It’s nothing really, besides i wanted to do something for you.” Shiro had his hands together, and had a blush on his face. Kentaro grabs his spoon and scooped up the mapotofu, but before he could eat it he looked at Shiro. “He looks….cute, and a bit nervous.” Kentaro thought as the air tightened in the room.
“Hey Shiro.” Shiro was a bit startled, he looked at Kentaro and he saw him pointing a spoonful of mapotofu towards him. “I want you to taste it first.” Shiro sat here for a few seconds with an even more red blush than before. “U-um alright if you want to then.” He opened his mouth, ad took a mouthful of mapotofu. Kentaro smiled as he took the spoon from his mouth and grabbed another spoonful of the meal, he took it to his mouth, tasting the spice already. “Is it good?” Shiro asked him as he wiped off some mapotofu off his lips. “It’s super good.” Kentaro said as he ate some more. Shiro smiled from his words as he watched him eat. He felt nostalgic, and his heart fluttered.
Shiro felt like nothing changed between them, even after these years had passed.
Chapter 17: The Bicycle Chapter
Notes:
I'm bored as fuck right now.
Chapter Text
The sounds of rubber and the asphalt on the ground street is heard across a nearby empty neighborhood alley just behind the Shinjuku Academy. The sound of someone falling was also heard as well, judging from the kinda-not-really loud impact, said person probably had a minor injury in his head right about now, but Kentaro was surely not a normal person by any standards.
"Alright! This time, I'll finally get it!" Kentaro shouted as he got up with a few scrapes on his body. He picked up his bicycle, which too has a few scrapes and had sat down on it, his right foot was on one of it's legs, Kentaro was determined to get this one right by now, he started to pump as he let his other foot off the ground and start pumping the legs, creating horsepower and more speed for him.
He had successfully balanced the bicycle in a straight direction, looking up ahead, he saw there was a turn coming up, he lowered the speed of the bicycle down and carefully took a right turn. He sighed out of relief as he biked across the neighborhood, passing by a few familiar faces along the way.
Kentaro stopped by a nearby vending machine. Stopping the bicycle, he carefully stood up as he took a coin from his pocket, inserting it to the machine, and clicked ok the orange juice option. He waited for a few seconds, then grabbing the juice from the bottom. Opening it, he wiped off the sweat coming from his forehead, he drank the juice in one giant gulp.
He stood there in silence. Not knowing what to do next.
"....I should really get better hobbies."
Chapter 18: Teasing Vampire
Chapter Text
It was the night. Kentaro couldn't sleep again, he sighed as he rolls around the bed restlessly. "I should get some fresh air." He got up and jumped out of the window and onto the trees below, thankfully his escape wasn't as loud as he thought it would be.
The outside air was colder than usual this night, Kentaro could feel his body freeze up even wearing a thick jacket. Still, it feels better than being cooped up in his room all alone.
A few minutes of walking around Shinjuku, Kentaro took a break and sat down in a nearby bench, leaning his head down as he sighs. In the corner of his eye, he saw a familiar silhouette, yet he didn't move a muscle despite what danger it might pose to him.
"Well, this certainly is a surprise." The sweet sound of Ellie's voice says to Kentaro. "Why did you go come here again? Was it by impulse like last time?" She asked. Kentaro merely looked back at her with his two eyes. "Yeah, I felt a little restless so I went walking again." Ellie took a seat behind him as she took a piece of candy in her pocket and chewed on it as Kentaro looks at her through the whole process.
"You want some?" She asked him as he accepted her offer, throwing at him a piece of red candy. After a few minutes, the weather significantly got colder, it didn't take a long for the rain to drop, forcing the both of them to go seek shelter somewhere, eventually going to a nearby hotel entrance.
"I think we might have to change clothes." Ellie said as Kentaro nodded in agreement. Both of them were pretty much drenched in the rain. "Damn, this rain is really pouring huh?" It seemed like the gods above were angry from how strong the rain was. Ellie sighed from frustration. "Seems we really can't go back to our schools at this point, might as well." Ellie went to the hotel as Kentaro followed suit, with no other options left.
----
"This room looks clean enough." She touches the seams of the bed as she examined it, meanwhile Kentaro laid down on the bed already a bit tired from running from the rain. "The hotel gave us some clothes in the front, I'll go take a quick shower ok?" Kentaro nodded as Ellie went to the bathroom.
He went to go get the clothes from the front, but as he was organizing it, he saw a sight that he might never forget. Ellie stood there naked as she washed her hair with the towel, not even bothering to cover up most of her body.
Like any normal dude, he looked away with a blush in his face as he handed her clothes to her with a bit of a stutter in his voice. "H-here's your clothes, I already changed into m-mine." Ellie took the clothes in his hand. "Why thank you Kentaro." Said man's blush grew more red. "Y-your welcome." Ellie giggled from his reply, but that made his cheeks even more red than they were before.
"You can look now." Kentaro turned his face towards hers, Kentaro gawked at her appearance, he never thought that Ellie could be this pretty, he thought to himself.
"Why are you still standing there for? You should lay down now." Kentaro complied, still with a blush in his face. Ellie giggled at his reaction, but he knew better than to tease the poor boy. "Well then goodnight Kentaro." She laid down with her blanket as she closes her eyes, Kentaro did the same.
The both of them slept well that night, everyone else in their school did not unfortunately.
Chapter 19: Let's Do Our Best
Summary:
I bought Pandora Hearts Vol. 3, pretty happy.
Chapter Text
The swift strokes of Licht’s brush hit the canvas hard, some of the paint landed on his apron though Licht couldn’t care less, he was just doodling freely. Melusine sips tea in the corner, seemingly aloof towards Licht’s actions but more so looking towards the person beside him, Daisuke, the Guild Master of the Summoners.
“Are-are you drawing Kuniyoshi again?” Daisuke asked with sweat dropping from his forehead. Licht nodded proudly. “Why yes, he gifted me some karaage yesterday, it’s only right I'll draw him as compensation. Daisuke was intrigued by those words. “So if I give you some food, will you draw me too?” Licht blushed red. “We-well not…necessarily, you don’t have to do anything just for me to draw you.” He replied, but Daisuke teased him more. “So can I ask you to draw me?” Licht nodded as he felt very much embarrassed.
“Alright, if you draw me i’ll draw you too.” Daisuke turned towards his canvas, and replaced it with a new one, he turned his head towards Licht and smiled.
“Let’s do our best shall we?”
Licht was quite surprised by the sight, he looked…so….beautiful. Licht smiled as well and felt fire in his eyes.
“Alright, i’ll do my best.”
Melusine smiled. She felt like a proud mother.
Chapter 20: Classmates
Chapter Text
“Hey Shiro, do you think Akitarou and Mishita are in a relationship?” Kentaro asked him. Shiro nodded in disagreement. “I don’t think so, I'm pretty sure they’re just best friends Kentaro.” Kentaro insisted on his stance. “Really? They really look like boyfriends to me.” Shiro sighed from his friend’s words. “You shouldn’t ship people just like that on a whim you know?” Both of them had packed their bags as they walked towards their new class. “It’s not on a whim, dude, I just really think they are boyfriends from how touchy feely they are, look, see.” Kentaro pointed to both of the men, Akitarou, a tall man similar to Kentaro’s stature, had his arm on Mishita, a boy with glasses, and curly dark hair.
“Don’t you think you’re reading too much bl Kentaro?” Kentaro was about to disagree but he thought of the question more. “Huh, I think I am reading too much.” Shiro had a proud expression on his face. “See?” Shiro adjusted his glasses, he thought that was the end of the topic, but Kentaro proved to be more persistent than he thought. “But I still think they’re boyfriends.” Shiro sighed, too tired to argue about relationships anymore. “Well, you do, I guess.”
“Anyways, you finished the manga I lent you yesterday?” Both of them sat down in their new classroom. “Yep, i liked the comedy very much, though i think the characters were pretty boring.” Shiro gave back the manga he lent back to Kentaro. “Oh, i thought they were interesting, but i can see how ya think that. It’s a gag manga after all.”
“Alright class, settle down.”
—--
“Hey Shiro, whatcha got for lunch?” Kentaro sat down beside his friend.
“Okonomiyaki, my mom taught me how to cook.” Kentaro put his arm around Shiro, the latter blushing quite a bit. “Oh yeah, well wanna treat me to your cooking someday?” Shiro couldn’t respond for a while, still quite embarrassed from Kentaro’s sudden contact.
“Um, hey Shiro?”
“Huh? Oh um, yeah.” Shiro looked at the opposite of Kentaro’s direction.
“Are you….blushing?” Kentaro asked as he looked at Shiro’s face, confused about his sudden aversion to eye contact.
“N-no.”
“Oh, then why are you looking away then?” Kentaro scratched the back of his neck as he was confused even more. Shiro was regaining his composure as he straightened himself. “I just..saw some trash and picked it up and put it in my pocket, you know how tardy some students are.”
“Hmm, alright then, anyways-” Before Kentaro could finish his sentence, he was cut off by a sudden shout by a teacher.
“Ah, gotta go Shiro, see ya later.” He waved goodbye to his classmates as he ran downstairs to the teacher.
Shiro made sure that Kentaro was out of sight, then covered his face in his hands, feeling much embarrassment from that small interaction. Shiro was sure he was in love with that doofus, though Shiro wasn’t sure if he was in love because of his stupidity or other reasons.
Chapter 21: Continuing to be Classmates
Summary:
Continuation of the previous chapter.
Chapter Text
"Mishita, can you go out with me?" The tall man bowed as he shouted to the shy boy in front of him. Mishita, staggered to get some words out, too meek for this type of interaction, yet at last he shouted his words once more. "I-i'd love to Akitarou, please take care of me." The boy bowed as well.
Kentaro and Shiro were looking below from one of the high floors in the Shinjuku School. Shiro had a defeated look on his face whilst Kentaro had a cocky smirk on his. "You owe me ¥500 Shiro." Shiro sighed as he gave Kentaro the money he promised.
"I still can't believe my stupidity when I promised that." Shiro adjusted his glasses, his face quite embarrassed. "Yeah honestly I was surprised too but hey a promise s a promise Shiro." He pocketed the money as he looked down below again.
Akitarou kabedoned Mishita.
Kentaro almost had his eyes pop out as he nosebleeds from the sight. "Damn, I didn't expect them to go THAT way so fast." Shiro clicked his tongue. "Language Kentaro, also the teacher is here, let's go back." Shiro ushered his friend closer, Kentaro let out a cheerful "yes" as they went back to their class.
----
"Kentaro, I'm here to return your manga." Shiro had an uptight tone to his voice, similar to a student council president if anything else. "Oh um, thanks, also Shiro you look like Tenya Iida from Boku no Hero Academia when you speak like that." Kentaro shrugged as he laid his down in his desk.
"That's quite a compliment to me actually. He's my role model and favorite character in manga."
"Oh gee, I wonder why, well anyways why did you even borrow my bl manga? Thought you weren't into that type of books?" Shiro looked away a bit with a blush in his face, nothing like a few seconds ago.
"It's for......study purposes, you see I can't really write romance stories and you know about our assignments in Creative Writing right?" He waves his hand up and down like a robot, thinking that would clear his classmate away from suspicion.
"Hmmm, well I don't really care either way. " Kentaro shrugged again as he laid back in his desk. "W-well I'm gonna go now, farewell Kentaro." Shiro waved goodbye as he walked to his desk, with awfully shaky legs, though Kentaro didn't notice, thankfully.
Shiro composed himself in the outside, yet his heart still beats as fast as a cheetah from that conversation.
