Summary: Aizawa knows something is going on with Tensei because he doesn’t seem to hang out with them as often. In fact, it started a few months before the Provisional License exam when Aizawa had voiced his complaints about Ms. Joke being ill-suited to having two full-time jobs when she couldn’t keep up with her nightly patrols. He didn’t expect to receive his answers plus more when he sees Tensei with someone who he can’t stand plus two of his students.

Author’s Note: I did not forget about my Mama Joke series and honestly, I wanted (read: NEEDED) more stories of Midoriya and Ilda just being the best friends that they are. Like I need the Ilda’s being a blushing mess thanks to Midoriya’s chaotic ness and love.
~~Story Begins~~
Tensei Ilda looked up at the walls of the prestigious U.A. High School, a school that he had graduated from just a few years ago. It felt like it was only yesterday that he was walking these halls with Aizawa, Yamada, and Kayama filled with smiles, laughs, dreams of being heroes in honor of their fallen friend Shikumuro. Now, into their adult lives they have more responsibilities especially since almost all of them have two full-time jobs.
He looked down at his legs that were now paralzyed from his incident with Stain. He was still in charge of his family’s hero agency, but he was no longer patrolling the streets as Ingenium. He gave that title up to his little brother who seems to cherish it while still learning on how to be a hero. His little brother has already agreed to allow him to still be the head of the Ingenium Hero Agency because Stain had used Tensei as a warning. Someone in his agency had been ignoring crimes because it wouldn’t guarantee her enough popularity. Once he was recovered enough to go back to work, he started the investigation. She was immediately fired and anyone else in his agency that wasn’t doing their jobs correctly if they have been with them for over a year. He also retrained the full agency on what is to be expected from them as heroes, sidekicks, and employees so nothing like this will happen again in the future.
He’s also a full-time teacher of literature at Ketsubutsu Academy where he works alongside his wife. A wife that his high school friends don’t know about because they never liked her as a person or as a hero, but he absolutely loves her. He didn’t even tell them that he was dating her four years ago. When he became paralzyed it was his wife (at the time girlfriend) and her family along with his little brother that prevented him from giving up and going straight into depression.
Even his sister-in-law (may her chaotic soul cause mayhem in the afterlife) who was battling a terminal illness for eight years kept his hopes up with threats, and then his wife’s son (who his wife adopted from her sister once they found out about the terminal illness before they started dating, but now since she married him, her son is now also his son. He has a son!) went and saved his little brother from his revenge mission against Stain.
That was how Tensei knew that he had found his family, the family that he knew he couldn’t live without because his son had just saved his little brother without even knowing that was his Mama’s boyfriend’s little brother.
Someone could sue Tensei for being shy and nervous about meeting the adopted son and he wouldn’t care because he was scared. Besides, what better first impression was there then showing up to his sister-in-law’s place, wiggling (Tensei is not ashamed to admit that he even muttered ‘wiggle, wiggle, wiggle,’ the whole entire time) out of his wheelchair and bowed to his son while his sister-in-law laughed.
“Thank you so much for saving my little brother from his revenge fight against Stain. I’m Tensei Ilda and I’m currently dating your Aunt Emi for four years now. I know that she’s your adoptive mom -or as you call her Mama - for if that dreaded -”
“When, Tensei. I’ve accepted my fate, but I’m still going to give death trouble and a big huge thumb in between the middle and index fingers while I’m at it,” his sister-in-law said.
“ -day comes when your sweet and yet chaotic mother passes away. So, I would very much like it if I can receive your permission and blessing to ask your mama for her hand in marriage and to have you go up and pick out an engagement ring with me,” Tensei said.
“Wow, okay,” his (soon to be) son said. “I’m trying not to be a fanboy right now because wow, you're Ingenium and it’s an honor to meet you, but please get back up. Did you need help?”
“I will keep bowing and begging until you say yes,” Tensei said. “Because I cannot live without Emi in my life.”
“Okay! Okay! You are definitely not like Ilda, but yes. You have my permission to marry Mama! I’m not stupid or blind and I know she’s been happier since she started dating you. I’m actually disappointed that you didn’t introduce yourself to me sooner.”
Tensei looked up with watery eyes and a bright smile. “Thank you! Thank you so much!”
“Now, I’ll also help you find the perfect ring for Mama, but on three conditions.”
“Anything!”
“One, you be there when I first call your little brother Uncle Tenya. Two, you let me call you Daddy after you two get married. And third, ask Mama to marry you using a mystery flavor ring pop first before giving her the actual ring.”
Tensei shook his head as he grabbed the wheels and rolled into the U.A. grounds not paying attention to the human sized yellow caterpillar rolling his way. His son had wanted him to meet somebody here, a fellow student who is in the support course who is a friend. However, it was the way his brother had reacted that made Tensei want to meet this friend a whole lot more.
“Tensei,” the caterpillar said in a tired voice as it stood up. “We weren’t expecting you. You should have let one of us know that you were coming to visit.”
“Ah, hello, Shou- I mean, Aizawa,” Tensei said. He ignored the raised eyebrow and scuntizing gaze. “I’m here to actually visit Tenya and my son. In fact, my son actually wants to introduce me to someone and Principal Nedzu agreed to let me come in for a visit.”
“Son?” Aizawa said as his eyes widened. “I- we didn’t know you have a - Tensei this is a high school! We aren’t old enough to have children at a high school level unless you had them early!”
Tensei smiled brightly as he rolled into the school. He had a mission to meet his son’s friend and Tenya was on a mission to prevent them from meeting. As much as he loved his brother, the way Tenya had reacted over the video call when the word ‘babies’ left his son’s mouth made him want to meet her so much more.
“Tensei,” Aizawa said following him. “Tensei, you’re joking, right? Ugh! You are! Remind me as to why I’m friends with all of you again? All of your jokes are illogical.”
“For once, Aizawa, I’m not joking. I would love to stay and chat, but I have previous engagements made for when I get done meeting this friend. Maybe some time we can meet up for drinks? I would love to introduce everyone to my wife if you guys promise to play nice.”
Tensei watched his high school friend from the corner of his eyes. Aizawa had narrowed his eyes at the suggestion with a frown.
“You’ve been avoiding us, Tensei. Is your wife behind it? Are you in a healthy relationship?” Aizawa said.
“Midoriya, I beg of you, please stop! It is unheroic behavior to run in the halls of school and to be using your quirk,” Tenya’s voice said through the halls but the laughter of a female student broke the seriousness.
“Sorry, Ilda, but no can do. I promised your brother and Hatsume that I would get them to meet,” Midoriya’s voice said. Then Midoriya came running past them, green lightning dancing around his body as he carried another first year student with pink dreadlocks, oil stains covering her face making the orange color of her cross haired eyes, as she laughed.
“Ten Million, the next time you come in for costume upgrades, you are totally getting new upgraded shoes,” Hatsume said. “I have some amazing baby ideas for you.”
“Midoriya!” Tenya said with a good amount of desperation in his voice. “I beg of you to stop this! If those two meet, the world will be destroyed.”
“Sorry, Ilda, but the world will be better when they meet,” Midoriya said just as he came back into the view of the two adults.
“Problem Child, what are you -” Aizawa said.
Midoriya set Hatsume down with a smile. “Hatsume. I would like for you to meet the former Pro-Hero Ingenium -” Midoriya said.
The younger Ilda brother speed walked into the view with his arms doing the robotic actions. He went up to Midoriya and quickly placed his hand over Midoriya’s mouth. “Izuku Midoriya, don’t you dare do this. It is completely unheroic for a hero to ignore the wishes of a victim!”
Midoriya got his mouth free and smiled. “But, you’re not a victim here,” he said as Hatsume continued laughing.
Tenya glared behind his glasses, the artificial lights of the school hallways glinting the lenses just right giving a dangerous aura to Class 1-A’s president.
“Midoriya,” Tenya said.
Midoriya raised his hands up in the air as the three teenagers were ignoring the two adults. Aizawa looked like he was confused but also done with this situation while Tensei was wiggling around in excitement. He already thrived off of the chaotic energy his wife and son gave off, but this Hatsume girl just vibrated with all the energy of being chaos.
“Fine, fine, Ilda, I won’t do it,” Midoriya said with a sigh. “Man, I had this speech planned and everything. You would have been proud of me.”
“I am glad that you have come to see reason,” Ilda said.
“Hatsume, this is my Daddy, Tensei Ilda. He’s the former pro-hero Ingenium. Daddy, this is the friend I was telling you along with all of her babies, Mei Hatsume,” Midoriya said.
Hatsume draped herself over Midoriya’s side as she crackled with laughter. “Oh Ten Million, I love you. You are already promoting me and my babies without me even saying anything! I knew you were special!” she said.
“Midoriya, I thought you said you wouldn’t do it!” Tenya said with a groan.
Tensei laughed as Aizawa started to choke and he didn’t even see the way or how wide his old friend’s eyes got as he was too focused on the three children. In fact, he was more focused on the chaotic show in front of him and the way he felt his ears heat up at being called Daddy. (He has a son! It doesn’t matter that he’s only been married for four months, he doesn’t think that he will ever get used to being called Daddy!)
“I didn’t do the big speech I had planned to hype Daddy up,” Midoriya said with a smile that caused Tenya to grab his shoulders.
“Ms. Hatsume,” Tensei said to try and save his son and the pink haired girl looked at him. “I have heard so much about you. However, I do have one request that I would like to make from you.” He patted the wheels of his wheelchair. “I would like to get some rockets on my ride here.”
Hatsume held out her hand which Tensei took. “It is a pleasure to meet you and I have so many baby ideas for you, but I can totally give you rockets there. Let’s go to the support labs!”
Tenya turned around and looked at his brother. “Brother, please don’t,” he said. “You saw what she did to me.”
“I did,” Tensei said with a nod. “And I loved every second of it. In fact, I watch it on all my bad days. Anyway, I’ll see you two later on tonight. I have some rockets that need to be attached to my wheelchair.”
“Bye Daddy,” Midoriya said. “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure Uncle Tenya stays out of trouble.”
Midoriya starts to laugh as Tenya wraps his arm around Midoriya’s neck with his ears turning red.
“It’s more like I’m going to attempt to keep you out of trouble,” Tenya said with a growl.
A playful growl, but Aizawa who was watching the whole thing while Tensei left with Hatsume. Aizawa was still trying to wrap his mind around the fact that his chaotic Problem Child (who he had mentally adopted) was Tensei’s son who was just as chaotic. None of it made any sense and neither was the scene he was watching. Midoriya and little Ilda were actually laughing and little Ilda was rubbing Midoriya's head with his knuckles.
“Aw, come on Uncle Tenya,” Midoriya said as he held onto Tenya’s arm. He stopped struggling and looked at Aizawa. “Wait a minute. If Aizawa-sensei is your Uncle Shou, then does that mean he’s my uncle as well? Or my great uncle?”
“Absolutely not,” Aizawa said before he turned and walked away.
Midoriya looked up at Tenya with a bright smile that was filled with promises of causing trouble.
“Midoriya -”
“Imagine all the conspiracy theories that Todoroki will think of if he hears me call you Uncle Tenya,” Midoriya said.
“I’m going to sacrifice you to the League of Villains,” Tenya said.
“But then Daddy will be sad and we will be enemies,” Midoriya said, jutting his lip out and looking at his friend with big, watery, green eyes. “I would cry.”
“Izuku-”
“Please Uncle! Don’t sacrifice me to the League of Villains! You’re one of my best friends! Don’t make me fight you,” Midoriya said, being overly dramatic as he turned around and wrapped his arms around Ilda’s neck. “Please!”

Aizawa sat down at the table where his husband Hizashi Yamada and his so-called friend Nemuri Kayama. He grabbed Nemuri’s glass of wine and he chugged it. He slammed the glass back down onto the table.
“Did either of you know that Tensei has a son who just so happens to be Midoriya. Our student, Midoriya,” Aizawa said.
“Wait, what?” Yamada said.
“Wow, never thought Tensei was so kinky and into cougars,” Nemuri said, repouring wine into her glass. “That might explain why he kept rejecting me.”
“But, Tenya was born when we were in our second year of high school,” Yamada said. “So, did Midoriya’s mom convince Tensei to change the little listener’s last night or did she cut ties with Tensei so no one would get in trouble?”
“We could always just ask Tensei -” Nemuri said.
“Why is SHE here?” Aizawa interrupted Nemuri as he slammed his head down onto the table.
“Trust me, I don’t care for her,” Yamada said, “but this place does serve good food so maybe she wants food?”
“Wait a minute! Is that Tensei with her?” Nemuri said with a fire of jealousy in her eyes.
Aizawa looked up and saw his friend with his arch nemesis. “Is Tensei close to her? If he was, why wouldn’t he tell us?” Yamada said.
“It could be because none of us like her and he didn’t want to put her in a bad spot? Maybe she’s also the reason he’s been avoiding us,” Yamada said.
“Now that I think about it, Tensei did start to avoid us when I complained about her skipping out on her patrols a few months ago,” Aizawa said watching the two.
“Here the three of you go,” their waitress said with a tray of food. “Your husband had ordered for you Aizawa. You know, the three of you haven’t come in with Ilda for a while. May I ask why?”
“He’s been avoiding us for a few months,” Nemuri said. “However, it seems like he’s here with someone.”
The waitress turned and smiled. “Ah. His wife,” the waitress said. “I have never seen a couple more in love and have such a wonderful family than those two. Especially the year that they have had, I think between the two of them, their wedding is the only good thing that has happened to them this year.”
“We know about Tensei’s run-in with Stain and his little brother going to get revenge,” Yamada said. “But what happened to Fukukado?”
“She had lost her older sister who was a mother figure to her while also adopting her nephew. I think Tensei would have fallen deep into depression if it wasn’t for Fukukado and Midoriya,” the waitress chuckled. “Honestly, Midoriya is a genius because it was his idea for Tensei to propose to Fukukado with a ring pop. Mystery flavor of all flavors too.”
The waitress left as she heard someone calling for her and the three U.A. teachers watched as the other two went to an open table. It wasn’t until they watched green curly hair jump on Fukukado’s back, scarred arms wrapping around her neck that they blinked. Tenya was now behind Tensei, his arm chopping into the air before Fukukado pulled him into a hug.
“I’m not drunk enough for this,” Aizawa said, grabbing the bottle of wine and taking a long drink of it. “Wait a minute! Was Problem Child available for adoption and got adopted by someone who was close to Fukukado?”
He stood up and walked (he did not stomped) over to their table.
“Shou, wait!” Yamada said but Aizawa was on a mission and nothing was going to stop him.
Aizawa walked over to their table, grabbed a chair from another table and sat down just as the four guests received their drinks.
“Aiz-” Tensei started to say as the two men noticed how the green haired female seemed to shrink on herself.
“You can still call me Shouta,” Aizawa said, waving his friend’s concern off. “Honestly, I’m somewhat hurt that you didn’t invite me to your wedding, but I’m not here to talk to you.” He looked over at the woman. “Fukukado, how exactly do you know Midoriya?”
The two green-haired people looked at each other before looking back at Aizawa. Midoriya took a sip of his soda before he spoke. “Mama is my biological aunt, but once my Mom heard the news that she had a terminal illness, she had started the process of Mama adopting me for when that day came.”
“I’m sorry for your loss,” Aizawa said. “Is there a reason why U.A. was not notified?”
“There was no reason for it,” Midoriya said. “The adoption had already been finished by my third year of middle school and we knew about Mom’s death eight years ago.”
Midoriya spun the straw around in his drink, but Aizawa noticed the way Tensei had grabbed Fukukado’s hand under the table and gave it a squeeze while Tenya nudged Midoriya with his shoulder gently.
“How did you-” Midoriya started to say but Aizawa turned his focus back to the lone woman.
“Did this buffoon -” Aizawa said jabbing a finger in Tensei’s direction who let out a squawk at being called a buffoon, “-propose to you with a ring pop? And with a mystery flavor of all flavors?”
Emi Fukukado let out a smile and giggled, her cheeks turning pink and nodded. “Yes, yes he did. It was glorious too, I had no idea that he was even planning it!”
Aizawa sighed and looked over at his friend with a deadpan expression. “Did you learn absolutely nothing when Hizashi proposed to me with a fake capsule toy ring?”
“In my defense, it was the final condition that I had to fulfill so Izuku would give me his permission to marry Emi,” Tensei said.
Emi gasped and looked at her adopted son. “No way! That was your idea! It was brilliant!” she said.
Tenya groaned and Aizawa looked over at his honorary nephew as Izuku’s face became red. “Why is this my family? What happened to the rules?” Tenya asked.
“Rules? What are those, Uncle Tenya?” Izuku said.
“Inko always said rules were made to be broken in the name of chaos,” Emi said laughing. “She would have you rioting.”
Tenya threw his arms up in the air. “That is why you encourage Todoroki’s theories so much!” Tenya said and then pointed his finger in between Midoriya’s eyes. “You feed off of that chaos energy.”
“Guilty as charged,” Midoriya said before looking over at his teacher with a fire of mischief in his eyes and a smile that said mayhem was to follow. “Sensei, you know about Todoroki’s theories, right?”
“Unfortunately, why do you ask?” Aizawa said.
“I have one that not even Todoroki has thought of yet, but I’m going to let the obvious evidence speak for itself,” Midoriya said.
“Uncle Shou, do not open up Midoriya’s version of Pandora’s Box,” Tenya said, chopping the air. “You’ll never look at the world the same again.”
“I happen to enjoy debunking them, so try me,” Aizawa said.
“Kirishima and Testutestu are twin brothers separated by birth,” Midoriya said.
“Oh my Nedzu,” Aizawa said with a horrified whisper as every argument he thought of held no ground in that subject to debunk the theory. He looked over at the two adults. “You live with this?”
“Oh yes,” Tensei said. “Emi and Izuku are masters at it.”
“I see, well, I want in,” Aizawa said. “Someone has to be the neutral person in this group to combat the chaotic energy the three of you have to save poor Tenya’s sanity.”
“R.I.P. Uncle Tenya for he’s the perfect example of Lawful Good when he has the braincell which is 90% of the time,” Midoriya said.
Tenya's arm chopped Midoriya on the head.
“Thank you,” Fukukado said. “I know Tensei not hanging out with all of you has been damaging him so I’m grateful.”
“Shouta,” Tensei said.
“Hizashi will follow shortly,” Aizawa said. “You know there will be questions as to why you kept this a secret, but for now. Enjoy your food.”
“So, does this mean you are my uncle or my great uncle?” Midoriya said.
“No,” Aizawa said before putting the chair away and going back to his table. He looked at his husband and blinked. “I made a friend. Be proud of me.”
He placed some of his warm food that had arrived while he was gone in his mouth. He ignored the questions that Hizashi and Nemuri were asking him, but focused more on the conversation of Midoriya trying to convince his Uncle Tenya on how cool it would be if Hatsume could develop a marshmallow rocket launcher to aim at criminals and villains.
