Chapter 1 Act 1
Darkseid POV
Chaos. It surrounds me. The clashing of fists and blades brings pleasure to my ears. Unfortunately, I’m not here for pleasure. A quick gaze at the paper in my hand reminds me of that. I hear a cry of pain and see that another from my side has fallen. Good, I need that for this. I watch as these heroes slowly push back the expendables. They believe they are wearing them down for me. How pathetic. It was easy to sway idiots to my side—a promise of full control over this world, and they clawed like dogs at my feet just for the chance to join in. That was a lie. The truth is, there are certain circumstances that need to happen to use this ancient artifact I have. It could only be used in a faction war and when your side is losing. It was sickening to realize I, unfortunately, was not enough to beat these heroes; even someone like Batman was able to hurt me. It’s already humiliating being defeated by a man in a red suit every December 25. Now I, am hurt by just a man. It nearly drove me nearly insane.
I consulted the knowledge of the universe to figure out why I lost. I was eternal, neverending destruction. I have brought many to their knees, but one planet—no, a couple of people—always thwarted me. What may have been 3 years to them was millennia to me, raging across the multiverse always looking for a way to win. Then I found it. A rule that predates the universe. Plot. The rules that everything runs on. Water must flow downstream in the presence of gravity, Earth is the most important place in the universe, Atoms build the world, and worst of all evil must fall.
I was distraught. I; Darkseid will always lose. No matter what I do, I could never win. I was about to abandon it all, my life, my legacy, my power until I met an annoying spark. I tried to crush it to destroy one thing, but even that failed. It mocked me for hours and then through a single piece of parchment on the ground. Darkseid grips the strange parchment, its arcane symbols still frustratingly opaque to him. But he remains lost in memories of his encounter with the spark entity.
As its laughter echoes in his mind once more, I’m transported back to that fateful meeting. The entity's electric blue body crackled with mysterious energy as it danced around him. "Rules are but constructs, as fleeting as your so-called victories," it taunted.
I snarl and unleash my omega beams, only for the spark to vanish and reappear unharmed. "You fight with the crude tools these paltry realms provided. But I know secrets that could break the very threads of reality."
Its next words took root in Darkseid's consciousness like a spreading corruption. Promises of untold power beyond any gods. Power to rewrite the plots even of existence itself. And with a final cackle, it disappeared, leaving only this parchment behind as a taunt.
I grab at it and feel weak. Eons of power slip away from me. After losing around 3% of my true power I’m able to grasp the parchment. The symbols turn blank. Was this a scam? No, the power inside this feels tremendously different than any other. I quickly teleport it into Apokolips' deepest vault. Where it can be safe. My keepsake. My WIN. A stray laser brings me back. I pull out the parchment. When looked at it seems lackluster but this paper is something that shouldn’t exist. I start to see the fight slowing down. Good, it’s time to use this. I let out a quick burst of divinity getting everyone's attention. A sharp pain runs through my body; it seems I sacrificed a lot more power than I thought getting this. My true form is slowly recovering from the deal I made to get this paper, and it's severely affecting my Avatar. I ignore the pain and start addressing the mortals.
I stand up, towering above the mortals in my wake, an ominous gleam flashing between my eyes. "You have thwarted me for the last time. Thanks to this, the playing field is about to change dramatically."
I lift the parchment for all to see. "This artifact will break the very rules that have constrained my power. No longer will I be bound to this reality's boundaries."
Ever analytical, Batman narrows his gaze. "What exactly is that parchment? Some new weapon of yours?"
"Your undoing, Batman. This holds abilities beyond mortal comprehension. With it, I will ascend as the true master of all worlds."
Skeptical as ever, Batman presses, "And a piece of paper is going to rewrite reality just like that?"
Dr. Fate senses the chaotic energy radiating from the writing. "Proceed carefully, my friend. That which is scribed holds dominion over forces more ancient than time. Fell powers stir in this hour."
I Chuckle ominously. These poor mortals don’t know what will happen to the world when I use this. "Your mystic understands well. Once I activate its magic, I will bend the multiverse itself to my whims. Every plane shall conform to my will!
Wonder Woman stood defiant. "No matter who or what you summon, we will stand against tyranny."
"Well said!" agreed Superman. "We have faced worse parlor tricks before."
"Enough prattle," I sneer. "Soon, all existence will kneel before me as I command!"
A devious smile spreads across my face as I clutch the mysterious parchment in hand. At long last, my time had come to rise as the absolute master of all worlds.
The assembled so-called "heroes" watched me with trepidation, powerless to stop what was to come. Fools, they knew not the forces I had commanded to reshape the cosmos to my whim.
With a thunderous laugh, I rent the strange page asunder. Ethereal light swirled forth, coalescing into a magnificent azure sphere that flooded the chamber in radiant violet glory.
This was but a taste of the chaos I would wreak. The shining orb blasted skyward, swelling as vast as a newborn star. At my mental decree, it fragmented in a dazzling shower.
From the sparkling rain plummeted bizarre silhouettes, warbled calls echoing their descent. My heart quickened to witness the first of my chosen allies arrive to sow pandemonium across the mortal playground.
Yet as the strangers resolved into view, their shouts resolved into something altogether perplexing - cries not of battle but bewilderment! "Fuuuuuuuuck!"
12:00 AM Metropolis Over Lexcorp 3rd Person
In Metropolis, people look up at the giant orb of light hovering in the sky. Unlike sensible Gothamians who flee at the first sign of danger, the citizens here marvel at the phenomenon. When it explodes into sparkles, some foolishly try to grab or bottle the flecks, earning severe burns for their trouble.
What's truly relevant are the heroes falling from the skies, likely to their doom. After being unceremoniously sucked into a blue vortex, Our protag’s plunge in shock. Screaming well
"Fuuuuuuck!"
You see these people were not ready for an event like this. Some were just relaxing at home with no adventure on the horizon. Others were with family and friends. And some just said fuck; It’s Tuesday and just went with it.
We have the bored Huey Freeman, Luz Noceda (Beta), Pinkie Pie (Mix of pony and human), Spongebob (humanized), Alex Mercer (Younger, less evil), Delsin Rowe (Younger, Netural Karma), X Chara, Gumball Watterson (Humanized by that one porn artist that does him we all know them), Marcel Dupain Cheng (Genderbend Marinette), Kenny McBride (Changed from McCormick), Miles Morales (In some sort of black suit arc right now), Clockwork, and Dipper Pines. Then you have the three YouTubers who didn’t sign up for this shit. How are they reacting to it? Well…
"WHAT THE HELL!" cries Christian in the sky with Den and Vanoss. They rocket toward the ground at terminal speeds, closer by the second. It seems Darkseid misjudged the teleport height. Those 3 were about to faint until a blue screen materialized in front of them.

The rushing wind whipped past as the trio struggled to collect their startled thoughts. Through the Gamer’s power, Christian was the first to find composure.
Christian clutched his head in confusion and panic. "What the actual fuck is happening?! I swear if I randomly relapsed on something, my mom would kill me."
Den cut in anxiously, holding onto Vanoss for dear life as the ground rushed towards them. "I don't think any of us took anything, but this freefall is starting to feel like a bad acid trip we're all sharing!”
Vanoss flailed his limbs hysterically, the blur of colors and wind whipping by dizzyingly fast. "Please tell me I'm dreaming! One second I was watching anime at home, the next a fucking portal opened up and sucked us in!"
Kenny looked annoyed at Vanoss' frenzied behavior. "Oh chill out, it's just a portal. Freaking out won't change our trajectory down."
Luz nodded in agreement, though her smile held unmistakable nerves. "Yeah, I'm sure weird magic stuff like portals opening is normal. We'll figure out a way to land safely..."
Den gaped at their nonchalance. "Just what kind of crazy situations have you guys been in?! We're plummeting to our deaths!"
Gumball stared downward with wide, frightened eyes. “Um, guys? The ground is getting really big really fast down there!”
As the fall drew near, each hero planned to survive in their own way.
Gumball, Spongebob, Huey, and Alex just prepared to land on the ground hard. Miles shot webbing and caught a beam to stop safely like Spiderman. Clockwork threw knives into a pole to slide down. Luz slowed down and landed on her feet. X and Dipper teleported away from danger. Marcel opened a portal to escape. Kenny died but reformed as dust. And Christian, Den, and Vanoss…
As the ground rushed up to meet them, Christian frantically yelled "Wait!"
Den joined in a panic "Wait! Wait!"
Vanoss flailed, voice cracking "Wait! Wait! No!"
Their pleas went painfully unanswered as jagged rebar erupted through chests with brutal force. Blood sprayed the ruined earth in scarlet plumes.
For agonizing moments, the light in their eyes flickered and faded into abyss.
Then, with no fanfare or glow, Christian, Den and Vanoss found themselves alive yet heaving for breath after such brutal expiration. Memories of torn flesh bombarded frazzled senses as raw terror gripped them in unrelenting claws.
Kenny reformed, ever inured to his dying cyclical fate. But seeing the others collapsed twitching, he sighed dragging a hand down his face. "Alright you pussies, get over it. I've kicked it a million times."
"What's going on?" Christian cried out, panic overwhelming in the wake of death.
"Settle down, you'll be fine," Kenny assured calmly. But his words did little to soothe.
"I don't understand, I'm not supposed to die!" Christian gasped, on the verge of hysterics.
Den and Vanoss also appeared rattled beyond reason by their inexplicable demises. None of it made sense in this bizarre new place.
As confusion threatened to consume them, an ethereal voice echoed: "Gamer's Mind activated/Gamer's Mentality."
Instantly, a calm wave washed over Christian, Den, and Vanoss's frayed nerves.
Den took a deep breath. "Did that voice help anyone else feel better?"
Miles interjects,” Hey crazies I don’t care about your voice but where the hell are we?”
Quickly our heroes realize that they are surrounded by unknown people. As fast as possible they pull out their weapons. Huey drew his katana, red writing gleaming. Nearby, Delsin readied his coiled spiked chain, primed to lash. Alex assessed coolly as their arm sharpened into a whip. Pinkie readied twin shining blades, battle-honed. Beside them, Miles summoned his pulsating Venom Blade. Dipper manifested paired scythes with orbiting lights at the ready. Clockwork gripped matched daggers, razor-keen. Kenny aimed smoking pistols, charged and sparking. Spongebob hefted his gold trident, steady. Gumball crouched low, claws aglow with violet power. X materialized gigantic crackling spectral knives. Vanoss, Den, and Christian still a little scared grab the nearest thing; rebar to use as a weapon. Marcel steels his nerves, calling on the mouse and dragon miraculous. In his hands takes shape a formidable flail - a flexible whip coiled with a curved blade at one end, scythe-like and poised to rend.
Darkseid lets surprise cross his face momentarily before going back to his usual dominating stare. He flaunts a little bit of power trying to impress and instill fear into his new underlings. Most of them buckle under it. Only Huey, Gumball, and Spongebob give off no visual reaction which surprises him.
Darkseid examines his unexpected guests with intrigue. "A little younger than what I thought. Alas, all can’t go exactly my way. Makers of chaos, find your worlds too tame? Join me and together we'll bend new realms to our will."
Kenny responds casually. "Yeah, no thanks. I've already got 35 states in my back pocket, with three more on deck. You bringing me here is kinda ruining that for me.”
Dipper nods assuredly. "Threatening Japan's PM was what I had booked for this afternoon, FYI."
Pinkie giggles mischievously. "I was planning on Breaking into Equestria and destroying some shit."
Spongebob stretches leisurely. "The only thing I'm ruling right now is nap time, my friend."
Delsin replies thoughtfully, "I got a rebellion I need to manage so can I go back?"
Everyone else did not have anything better to do. Some were just working on videos or doing a test; the reasons were not high enough to say something so brash. Well, except for Spongebob, but he doesn’t care.
Darkseid's brow furrows as his plan is disrupted. "You dare refuse me? I will destroy any who stand in my path to domination!"
Kenny examines his fingernails idly. "Meh, don't really take orders from wannabe conquerors. Not my style. I mean, if I want to just mess with Green Arrow, I just do it.”
Green Arrow sighs wearily. "I’m never the favorite am I?"
Darkseid, enraged that they won't help him, explodes. "YOU WILL PAY FOR MOCKING ME! I WAS PROMISED GODS! POWER THAT’LL DESTROY ALL! INSTEAD, I GOT YOU IDIOTS! THAT SPARK! THAT DAMN SPARK TRICKED ME!!"
Me: Lol, get trolled.
Pinkie nods brightly. "Yeah, he got trolled hard."
Huey looks around trying to pin me or, I guess, the mysterious voice. After looking around, he realizes that no one else heard that except Pinkie Pie. He glances at Pinkie Pie. “What was that?”
Pinkie Pie is shocked. “Just let me talk in the first person!; I don’t need you to talk for me!," I turn to Huey.", Oh, you heard that. Interesting, that’s not supposed to happen. We’ll need to see how that plays out.”
Huey, confused. “What do you mean play out?”
“Umm, next scene.” I can't deal with that right now.
Superman floats forward to everyone. "I don’t know what’s happening here, but stand down so we can talk this out."
Kenny, in defiance or just being annoying, challenges that, “Make. Me.”
The mood is tense, and no one knows what the first move will be.
“VICTORY SCREECH! LELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELELE!” Well, until that.
