Old Past, New Future

Notes:

Its late in the Pizzaplex and everything was being cleaned for the night. Freddy decides to wander the Pizzaplex for bit and finds the last thing that should be there at that hour.

Chapter Text

Another day has ended. Staff bots of many roamed the building as they completed tasks that didn't require human help. Cleaner bots wiped down tables in many areas, swept and mopped floors of confetti discarded food, and restocked many supplies. The other bots, dressed faintly like security guards, roam certain areas in a pattern-like movement. The building itself was quiet. Nobody was here and the only thing that could be heard was the constant drumming of rain as a thunderstorm rages out. Lighting will sometimes appear only to be followed by a resounding boom shortly later. It has been like this for the past few days, but today it reached its peak.

While the building was being cleaned and patrolled, the main stars of the Pizzaplex were readying themselves to charge and relax. Known as the Glamrocks, these animatronics are what made the Pizzaplex a popular place for children's birthday parties. Each one had its green rooms, specially and uniquely created for each star attraction. From the end to the front, it starts with the lead guitarist of the Glamrocks, Glamrock Chica. The smallest of the group and with the most energy. Chica is adored by many for her sweet demeanor and love for children, music, and food. Mostly food. Her room was pink inside and decorated with propaganda of her, much like the other room. The only downside of her living space was that it was always very messy. Pizza boxes covered a corner of her as she played aimlessly on her guitar.

The next room to see belonged to the lead bass player, Montgomery Gator. Montgomery, or Monty, enjoys his privacy greatly. Green in color, Monty's room looks similar to Chica's but with items from his attraction, Monty's Gator Golf. His room today was mostly closed off from visitors, as thick green curtains obstructed the outside view. This happens often, but all the time. He is still loved by fans despite this constant issue The next room from Monty's was of one of Roxanne Wolf, the keytar player of the Glamrocks. Highly competitive and outgoing, Roxanne is loved by everyone and anyone for her perfection. At least, that was what she thinks. Within her purple-colored room, she spends time complementing herself for her performance and looks. However, she does this mostly when she is alone.

As for the final room, it belongs to the face of Frazbear Entertainment and the Pizzaplex. Glamrock Freddy Frazbear. Being the lead singer of the Glamrocks, Freddy has the most fans and popularity than the rest of his team. But he rarely cares about that. He's very polite as well as a people pleaser. He hates seeing others upset and works hard to make many people as happy as he can. Today's performance was great as usual, but Freddy didn't feel like himself today. While the performance was perfect as always, a lot of stress was there as well.

The performance was for a young rich child's birthday. Pleasing them was more than what Freddy expected. The parents constantly demanded better as they kept Freddy away from the other children. The children themselves were very sweet, polite, and selfless, but the parents were not. Freddy sometimes wonders how some children are related to their parents.

The stress got him and he just wanted to cool off for a bit before tomorrow's scheduled parties. Freddy glanced at the time and saw it was nearly midnight. The pounding storm can still be heard as Freddy sits quietly in his room with little to no noise made. After a bit of time, Freddy finally decides that a small walk around the Pizzaplex would help him relax. With nothing else to do, Freddy rises from his chair and proceeds to leave his room temporarily. Hopefully, this will help him.

Freddy roams the Pizzaplex often but not as much as others, who either see him returning to his room or bump into him somewhere in the mall. Freddy continues to wander the many floors as several thoughts dance freely within his mind. Without even realizing it, Freddy soon finds himself in the main lobby of the Pizzaplex. A large golden statue of him stands in the middle of the lobby as guests enter and exit the building.

Freddy rarely comes to lobby himself, but it was still to know that many people left happy after their visit. That's all he ever wanted really. However, the calming thought was quickly cut short when a sudden bang could be heard close to where Freddy stood. Freddy sharply turns around to see where the sound originated from, thinking he would see either his bandmates or even the security guard on duty. There was nothing. Nobody was there with him. Freddy, now confused, searches for the source of the sound to see went from.

He looks over the lobby to see nothing out of order. After looking at every popcorn stand or in the giftshops, Freddy ventured further to the front to see if the noise possibly came from there. As he came closer, Freddy suddenly sensed quick movement from the far corner of the lobby. Thinking he finally found the source, he quickly made his way toward it. But before he can get any closer, he suddenly comes to a stop.

The source of the noise was there, but wasn't what Freddy thought it could be. If anything, it was the last and first thing Freddy could think of as it sat there curled tightly into a small ball.

"Is that.....a child?"

Chapter 2: Child of the Night

Summary:

A child has been found in a very concerning state. Freddy doesn't know what to do but want help the child. The child's health must first.

Notes:

Freddy and the other glamrocks dose in fact have fur/hair, scales, and feathers in this story. While they are still mechanical in a certain degree, it is more like seamless androids than clucky animatronics. It just looks better in my mind. This will make sense later in the story.

Chapter Text

The child sat quietly in the corner as the star attraction stood several feet away from him. The child seems to be a male that was maybe three to five years of age judging by their size. He was soaking wet as water dripped and streamed down his hair, body, and clothes. The clothing was a navy blue sleeve shirt with long baggy black pants. Pajamas most likely. The child was huddled into a small ball with his legs pressed tightly against his chest and his head rested on his knees. He hasn't moved since Freddy first found him but also seems to have not yet noticed the bear either.

Freddy didn't know what to do. It was far passed working hours and seeing a child here at such a late hour was very unnatural for the singing bear. However regardless, Freddy didn't want to leave him here alone either. With a deep sigh escaping his mechanical maw, Freddy took his time and slowly made small and slow steps toward the young boy. His footsteps were very heavy but his slow movement countered that by some degree. As Freddy gets closer, he decides it would be in the child's best interest to announce his presents before getting any closer to the small boy. Maybe that would be better than going up to him and just grabbing him. Which would probably scare him badly. But what should he say to this misplaced lost child?

"Um...Hello there, are you okay?" Freddy finally spoke with a nervous tint.

The sound of the bear's sudden words causes the child to jerk up right from his position as his eyes land on the source, this in turn gives Freddy a better view of his appearance. His skin was very pale and dirty. His hair was very messy and looked as if it had never been washed or cared for in a very long time. His eyes were a rich chocolate brown color that possessed a few little droplets of tears clinging to them. There was one more detail about the boy that grew the most concern to Freddy. He was injured. Bruises of a very dark color were painted on the child's right cheek as well as a few small cuts that can be seen on his hands. Freddy's concern for the child grew upon seeing these alarming features on the child's form.

"Are you okay, little one? You're hurt." Freddy said as he crept closer.

Fear began filling the boy within seconds as more tears began forming on the edges of his eyes. The child quickly began shuffling backward further into the corner he was in as tears began to fall. Freddy quickly began to panic as the child was on the verge of crying aloud. Thinking quickly, Freddy stops moving and ensures the child of their safety.

"Hey hey hey now, it's okay little friend. I'm not going to hurt you in any way. I just want to help." Freddy softly spoke as he kneeled close to the child's level. The child said nothing, his breathing growing a bit more rapid.

"Are you lost?"

After a short amount of time, the child's head moves in a nodding motion.

'Okay, progress. That's good. It's something at least.' Freddy thought to himself as a small smile form. Freddy, who's now completely sitting on the floor, continues his questions.

"May I come closer to you, I want to help you" Freddy asked in a polite tone.

The child adjusts himself a bit but stays in the same position. Freddy was unsure whether or not that was a yes or a no on the boy's part but decided not to test that theory just yet. So he stayed put. Freddy and the child just promptly sat together while staring at one another as the sound of heavy rain battered against the building, filling the silent air.

Freddy needed to get closer to the child in order to help him properly. If he has more injuries than on his face or head, then he needs medical care at once. With great cation and a heavy feeling, Freddy began slowly making his way towards the lobby's corner where the child resigned. The child stiffened as the animatronic bear that was several times his size came closer and closer to him. The poor thing's eyes slammed shut as he clenched his teeth and tears began to weld. The sight stung Freddy deeply, but the boy's health was in question, and action needed to be taken.

The closer Freddy got, the more of the boy's appearance he was able to scan over. Firstly, the boy was much smaller than Freddy originally thought. Smaller than any child of his supposed age range, to at least his knowledge. His height barely reached Freddy's knee joints if he stood up straight, it would be considered cute this the circumstances were different. The child's eyes stayed shut as the cold tiled floor beneath him disappeared and was suddenly replaced with a new feeling. Something strong, gentle, and...fuzzy? Not only that but another thing was felt in the form of a large hand rubbing gently against his back. He....never felt this before.

The boy's eyes steadily opened as tears continued to ripple against his cheeks. His breathing slowed a bit as Freddy continued his attempts to comfort the young boy.  This was strange to him but it was...nice? His chocolate orbs looked towards the corner he was in briefly before his head motioned to whoever held him. Staring back at him was the face of the building he was in. His expression was soft yet held confusion. Freddy simply smiled as he spoke in a soft, calming tone.

"See? It's okay, you're safe now, friend." Freddy ensured as he held the child in his arms. While holding him, Freddy noticed that the child was also far lighter than he looked as well. Another concern to add to his ongoing list for this child.

"What is your name, little guy?" Freddy asked as he carried him off to the first aid booth. The boy hesitated for a bit before speaking his name.

"Gre..Gregory." He uttered in a small timid voice. His voice sounded very coursed and dry like he hadn't drunk anything in a very long time. On top of that, the boy felt very skinny in Freddy's arms. Along with his injuries, he probably hasn't eaten in a long time either.

Freddy didn't get it. How could a child end up in such a terrible state like this? The poor thing was very weak and scared of almost everything that moved or spoke. It was simply a miracle that he had gotten so far. Let alone into Pizzaplex without being unnoticed by any adults.

"Gregory. That's a nice name." The boy said nothing as avoided eye contact from the animatronic carrying. Freddy should've expected as much, given his condition.

First things first, Freddy needs to get Gregory to a first aid booth. He's in dire need of medical care and must treated. Luckily for both the bear and the boy, almost every star attraction in the Pizzaplex was programmed with a first aid medical protocol in cases of injury to a guest or human staff. Better yet, according to Freddy's internal facility map, a medical is not far from where they stood. With no more reason to delay, the bear sets off with the boy cradled in his arms. As Freddy walked through the massive mall to the first aid booth, Gregory allowed his eyes to marvel at the many colorful lights and decorations that lined large painted walls.

Never in his life had he seen anything like this place before. It was bright and colorful with games of many in large groups so close together as the faint scent of pizza and cake danced through the building's air. To say the boy was awestruck would be an understatement.  The only other place he could think of as something as colorful as this place was his bedroom. Though, this place was a bit more...bright. Well, more like faded. Regardless, he was somewhat enjoying himself, which made Freddy feel a bit better. While the boy is still lost in his little world of amazement, Freddy is finally able to find the first aid booth he was looking for. However, there was a major issue before the singing bear. This first aid booth is currently out of order.

Freddy was stumped. How could a first aid booth be out of commission? These booths are hardly ever used since safety is taken very seriously here in the Pizzaplex. Yes, some injuries still do occur, but nothing that would cause a booth to be out of commission. Curious, Freddy peered his head inside to see why the booth couldn't be used since he needed it. Let's just say, it was at that moment that Freddy found that the possibility of breaking a thick wooden bench with a staff bot was higher than he could ever think. Go figure.

This was very unfortunate since the next closest first aid booth was nearly a ten-minute walk from where they stood, and Freddy didn't want Gregory to wait that long. A bit of panic began to rise within Freddy's mind as he scanned the area around him for some kind of resolution. And that's when he saw the answer to his troubles. The daycare area. Perfect! Freddy hardly goes to the daycare himself due to his very busy schedule, but when he does he makes time, he chat with the animatronic that's in charge there. The Daycare Attendant, Sundrop. The only thing close by with first aid programming is his hardware.

He's very nice and shows a great passion for children and keeping them safe. Sundrop is only active when the lights are on, however. If they are off, his counterpart takes over. Moondrop. Freddy doesn't why, but Moondrop is far more dangerous than Sun is. He punishes children who refuse to sleep during scheduled nap times or have broken the rules there in some way. Sun said that he's only doing the job and is kind to younger kids, but Freddy wishes he was less hostile with though. To this very day, Freddy is unsure why he was made in such a way. Regardless, Freddy didn't have a choice at this point. Gregory needed help right away and he had no intention of making the poor boy wait much longer.

The next stop is the Pizzaplex Daycare.

Chapter 3: Small Thin Memories

Summary:

Gregory is taken to the daycare to receive first ad treatment and is introduced to a new friend. It's also when Freddy learns more about Gregory that makes him question about letting him go

Notes:

Sun and Moon will become separate beings later in the plot for story and convenience purposes.

Chapter Text

The Mega Pizzaplex Daycare. A wonderful area where young children under the age of 10 can play, nap, and have fun to their heart's desire. And because of the many youngsters that attend, it was no wonder that the Superstar Daycare was also the safest location in the Pizzaplex. And it's all thanks to the star attraction of the daycare. The bright shining Sundrop and his nightly counterpart, Moondrop. Sun is a slender, lanky jester-like animatronic who holds a stylized sun-shaped head with a dull golden/orange color scheme and a bright wide smile, ready to greet children and parents alike. When he changes into the Moon, the design stays mostly similar to the Sun's but with a white and navy blue color and a crescent moon head. Alongside some very unsettling red glowing eyes. But luckily for everyone, he doesn't show those very often.

Of these strange pairs, Sundrop is the main lead out of the two personalities and is known for being extremely kind and protective of the children he meets. This protective nature is what got many children from being taken away from abusive parents and or guardians. Being very stern and assertive when the time is needed. Moondrop, however, was less friendly and or forgiving than Sun. He's in charge of the many naptimes and punishments of unruly children. Mostly those who choose to stay up and wreak havoc. Even though Moon was only doing what he was programmed to do, the way he handled it was almost always aggressive in some way. Sun does its best to try to mediate Moon's nature into something a bit more gentle. A work in progress to say the least.

This, however, isn't a huge concern at the moment since the daycare's lights are almost constantly on and rarely go out. This reassuring thought Freddy repeats constantly in his memory bank as he ventures through double doors and enters the Daycare's lobby. A small area where parents could relax knowing their child is being taken care of...to some degree. Within the same lobby, two large golden statues of the Sun and Moon stood in the middle with chairs, and tables surrounding them. This was on the upper floor of the daycare's lobby along with a few party rooms and the Pizzaplex theater where company-made movies are watched. Right below the upper floor is where the main daycare's play area is located along with a gifted shop or two. Also on the upper floor is a colorful twister slide that leads directly into the daycare and it's a beloved ball pit. A crowd favorite. However, Freddy himself couldn't fit due to his size. Gregory could but he didn't feel comfortable letting Gregory go down there himself. Not in the condition he's in.

Using the stairwells that descend to the lower floor, Freddy took his time walking as he didn't want to risk startling Gregory and tripping over himself. As he made his way down, he felt a small tug on his fur. Freddy shifted his head a bit to see Gregory gripping hard onto him as his eyes threatened to spill tears. Guilt fills Freddy himself as he begins rubbing the child's back as some form of comfort. This, however, failed to loosen the strong latch Gregory had on him. Gregory only lets go once they reach the ground floor.

Freddy observes the wooden doors briefly before letting out a small sigh and knocking on the sun-decorated door. Only a few seconds flew passed until one of the large wooden doors opened just enough to reveal the one who opened it. Sundrop.

"Well hello, Freddy Frazbear. What brings you here at this time of day?" Sun half sang in a cheerful tone. Sun's tone quickly drops when sees Gregory in his arms. Noticing the many cuts and bruises visibly on the child.

"Greetings, Sundrop. I was hoping you could help me provide first aid to Gregory here. I know it's very late at the moment, but this boy is in dire need of care." Freddy exclaims as he holds Gregory close. Gregory held on to Freddy as a small amount of worry became more present at the sight of the unknown character before him.

Even though Sun's face couldn't express his feelings, it was clear that Sun was concerned for the child. He opens the door wider so that Freddy could enter the Daycare with little issue. Freddy makes his way towards the nearby stools as Sun runs off to get one of the many first aid kits stored in the daycare supply inventory. Gregory huddles closer to the animatronic bear as Sun returns seconds later with the kit in hand. More fear began to rise as the Daycare Attendant was fondled with medical content and was ready to treat the many injuries on Gregory's person alongside bandages. Aware of the behavior of injured children, Sun had to take a very gentle approach if he wanted any chance to treat Gregory's injuries. In a much calmer tone, Sun speaks.

"Hey there, little friend, may I please come closer so I can help you?" Sun asked trying to appear as friendly as he could. This, however, wasn't enough to convince Gregory since he proceeded to huddle closer to Freddy. Sun accepted this reaction from the young boy. Injured children don't open up so quickly like most children.

"Come on, Superstar. He won't hurt you. I promise!" Freddy comforts him in an upbeat tone, hoping it's enough to lighten the boy's nerves. However, his efforts were in vain as Gregory didn't budge from his position. Neither of the bots wants to force him to accept the medical help despite needing it. It was clear that this boy had been through a lot and having him do something he doesn't want to do is just gonna make the situation worse.

Unclear on how to progress further with Gregory's needs, both robotic characters sat there in silence for what seemed like minutes as they tried to figure out some way to help this boy without harming him further. The silent thinking continued for a bit more until a possible idea came to Sun. Much like the Glamrocks, Sundrop, and Moondrop have many merchandise made after them that are sold to the general public. One of these plentiful merchandise is specialized candies named after Sun and his counterpart. Sun and moon drop candies. These candies are what are mainly advertised around the daycare and are loved by children and parents alike. Mostly the moon drops with parents. These special chewie candies that are the size of a quarter help young kids fall asleep peacefully while sundrops give kids the energy to play and stay awake for a certain amount of time. Those could help.

"I know what can cheer you up, how about a delicious piece of candy?" Sun offers in cheerfully. He closes his hand for a moment before opening it again with a blue-wrapped candy lying in his palm.

Gregory stared at the candy for a bit before asking their question in his soft tone.

"Is it.....sharp?"

The sun-based animatronic was stunned by the question. A question that he hesitated a bit to answer since it was not a question he gets regularly, if not at all. Freddy was also stumped by the question as well. Sharp? What does he mean by 'sharp'? Some hard candies are sharp around the edges, maybe he's talking about that? If so, Sun was ready to reassure him that the candy he was being offered was safe for him and all to eat.

"Of course not! They're soft, sweet, chewy candies loved by all." Sun stated with high confidence. But that confidence quickly disappeared and was replaced with stun shock as both animatronics listened to Gregory's reasoning.

"Any candy mommy gets for me, it would have....small sharp...sticks in them. I don't want that." Gregory utters those final words before burying his head into Freddy's fur.

Shocked silence filled the Daycare as Sun and Freddy processed the words that floated within the air before them. Even though they can't prove it, both animatronics can safely say that no store sells candies with needles embedded in them. To think this child's guardians would intentionally harm their child. And by the way, Gregory's words manifested, it was clear that this went on for a long time. The good thing about this was that it proved to Freddy exactly how this young boy was so injured. The injuries were still untreated and the time spent thinking is time spent wasted not caring for them.

"It won't hurt, little friend. You have my shining word." Sun expressed trying to save face.

Gregory peaks his eyes from the fur and stares at Sun briefly before directing his sights towards the blue-wrapped sweet in his hand. Hesitant and unnerved, Gregory slowly takes the candy within his grasp and unwraps it. The undone wrapper reveals a pretty indigo candy with a faint crescent moon design on it. Gregory pauses and directs his gaze towards the provider of the candy, who held an ensuring glisten on his face. He wasn't being forced or told aggressively to eat it. It was on his own time. His wishes.

Sure enough, Gregory proceeds to eat the berry-flavored candy. It was hard at first but then became a soft, gooey treat that tasted of many different types of fruits. He liked it. When the candy is done being eaten, Gregory hurdles into Freddy's arms and chest as the unique taste of the candy lingers in his mouth. After about five minutes of waiting, sleep began taking over the child's body as his eyes became heavy and his heart began to slow down. Without a second thought, Gregory falls asleep in Freddy's arms.

With the child now asleep, Sun could now tend to his injuries with little fuss. Gregory would flinch at moments but stayed fast asleep for the entire repair session. Sun was just happy the child could now heal properly. Freddy, however, his mind was elsewhere. Doesn't believe that. He didn't want to believe that. How could anyone bring harm to their blood? And if so, what was the reason? There has to be a reason, there's no other way. But then that leads to another question. What reason would bring a parent to harm their child? These thoughts came and went quickly as many questions flooded Freddy's memory bank. It was odd in a way. While Freddy loves and adores all the fans who come to the Pizzaplex to watch him perform, he never once felt a strong connection towards just one child. Whatever the case was, there was one thing Freddy could surely be certain about.

He'll be sure that this child will always be safe.

Chapter 4: Resting for the Night

Summary:

As Gregory sleeps away in the Daycare, Freddy beings to gather anything and everything to make the child's stay safe and comfortable. It was during this time that two new problems becomes present.

Notes:

Characters will be introduced based on how they'll react and the strength of their relationships with one another.
Sun was first because he closeby and is known to be the only character in the game, besides the STAFF bots, who knows first aid.

Side Note - Updates will now happen on weekends.

Chapter Text

It was now past 1 am in the Pizzaplex. Gregory, the young child found within the Pizzaplex's walls, was sleeping soundly as new warm clothes encased his body. His old, wet clothes were in a basket on one side of the Superstar Daycare. Sundrop, the daytime daycare attendant, didn't want him to sleep in the clothes he came in with. The risk of him getting sick was simply too great. As he slept, Sun stood outside the dark room before walking over to the rockstar bear that sat near the entrance of the Daycare.

Freddy was clearly in his world. His mind raced with many questions about Gregory and ways he could help him. These everlasting thought trains soon come to an end when a voice calls out to Freddy, bringing him back into reality. Once back in reality, Freddy was met with a more than before cheerful Sundrop standing off the side of him.

"I'm overjoyed to announce that our special guest is much better than before. He's resting well and his condition is improving by the minute." Sun happily states before continuing. "He's very malnutrition, but I have many treats and snacks to help with his condition."

Freddy lets out a heavy sigh of relief at the news given to him. Knowing Gregory would be okay was enough to let Freddy have some kind of weight lifted from his body.

"Thank you, Sundrop. That is very great news to hear. Your help is greatly appreciated at this time of need." Freddy spoke in a now less stressed tone. Sundrop was delighted, the sun-based jester was more than happy to help such a close friend in need. Especially if a small helpless child's health is on the line.  But there was one singular thing Sun did want to find out about.

"Do pardon my intrusion, Mr. Frazbear, but where did you find our new little friend from? It's practically unheard of for any outside guest to present in the Pizzaplex at such a late hour. Let alone, a child that barely scratches preschool age."

Freddy paused for a moment before speaking his answer. He knew this question would come up soon after everything was settled but it still somehow managed to catch him off guard. On top of that, he also knew it was best if he told the truth as well. It was late, the child had been helped, and there was truly no good lie or a reason to lie since the circumstances were just too strange for any type of excuse to be made at that time.

"I found him near the entrance of the lobby area. I believe he must've came into the building when the last day staff left for the night." Freddy answered with a sad tone. Sun stayed quiet for a bit before Freddy continued.

"He was very wet from the rain outside and was huddled in one of the far corners. And I didn't know he was injured until I got closer to him. I tried my best to not scare him any further."

"Well...if that's the case then, he's welcome to stay as long as he needs to. I'll make sure that our honorary guest is getting the best treatment he...probably barely got." Said Sundrop with his signature cheerful voice despite the last comment.

" We can even introduce him to the others as well. I bet Alexander would to meet our new friend, too!"

That last comment made Freddy freeze for a moment as it rubbed him the wrong way. This was because this Alexander fellow wasn't considered...friendly. Despite the heavy security measures integrated into the Mega Pizzaplex, higher-ups believe it would be best to have at least one to three human security personnel present at night for any possible issues that may need human assistance to resolve. One of these common personnel is a middle-aged man named Alexander Von-Smith. A long-time employee of the Frazbear franchise who has been present for roughly two decades since first starting during his mid-twenties. To put it plainly, Alexander was grandfathered in for the security position since he had the most knowledge of the building's layout and details. However, this grandfathered employee does have a plethora of issues with him.

Firstly, despite working for a place that promotes happiness and fun, Alexander was everything that went against such goals. He is known to staff, both human and mechanical, to be the most miserable person in the Frazbear workforce who only takes joy in bullying and bossing others around him. He's a rude, aggressive, power-hungry man that makes it very clear he doesn't like anyone who conforms to his 'standards'. Standards that seem to be constantly changing with every interaction with him.

On top of that, his behavior doesn't stop at the staff. For several months, guests have been complaining about Von-Smith's behavior and many things he either has done to them or others. One of these incidents involved Von-Smith banning a group of 13-year-olds from the Frazcade for being "too old of it". Despite that area being specially made for kids of that age range.  And this was tamer incidents involving guests. But each time, his action is often ignored due to how long he's been with the company, getting away with a simple 'strong talking to' and nothing else.

The only reason why Sun has such a positive view of the disgruntled employee is because Alexander tends to avoid the daycare as much as possible. He finds the Daycare attendant's design and structure to be highly creepy and unnerving. Questioning why something looking like that is even allowed around young children with an appearance that belongs in a haunted house. Insulting or 'commenting' on others' appearances is something Alexander does very often. Another reason why he isn't very well-liked.

"Let's...not cross that bridge just yet, Sundrop. Remember, Gregory is still very skittish around others and takes a while to warm up to people. " Freddy urged. In reality, Freddy doesn't want that miserable force against children's happiness anywhere near him. The only risk he has is undoing all the progress Freddy made with the young boy. Freddy is a forgiving person but even he has his limits.

With quick thanks and goodnights, Freddy sets off back to his green room to rest up for the rest of the night. On the way there, thinking and brainstorming about many things he has to do to ensure Gregory's safety and health. Starting, the boy is gonna need a lot of clothes and a good place to be clean. Keeping him in the same clothes for multiple hours or even days can lead to bad hygiene which can lead to some very not-so-good health issues. A toothbrush and toothpaste should also be considered. Healthy teeth are very important.

These thoughts continued even after the animatronic bear reached his assigned room. When Freddy entered, he unknowingly made a beeline to his personally made couch on the other side of his room. Plopping down as a very heavy sigh escapes his maw. The amount of stress and worry Freddy felt during this whole situation was something he never thought he would ever experience in the whole time of his creation. Freddy was programmed to be concerned for any child's safety but this one he's only known for an hour or two at best managed to push that programming to heights he didn't think was possible.

Maybe he met Gregory once before, maybe he was a personal fan Freddy grew to like and somehow forgot him, or maybe there was something familiar about this kid that sparked this sudden urge to keep him around. Whatever the reason, Freddy's intentions were as clear as glass. Help Gregory as much as possible. But before anything can be done further, rest is greatly needed. With a strong sigh, Freddy got up from his couch and headed towards his charging station.

Freddy and the others are fully booked tomorrow and need all the battery life he can get if he wants to make it through the day without shutting down on guests. With Gregory asleep in the Daycare and Sundrop watching over him, there was very little for Freddy to worry about right now. With those finally parting thoughts, Freddy enters rest and charges for the night.

As the main star of the Pizzaplex sleeps for the night, Sun is doing his due diligence of watching over the animatronic bear's new little companion. He is still sleeping in the nap area, but he is suspected of waking up very soon and when does, Sun already has the perfect meal for the young malnourished boy to eat and a drink that would make him the happiest child on the planet. A thought that practically plays on repeat for Sun at this point. But for now, some cleaning must be done. The Daycare was still a little bit messy from the day before. Toddlers are messy, yet creative little things. As Sun cleaned the mess around the Daycare, a very familiar voice began to ring aloud.

"Who is that?" The voice asked with a raspy filter. Most likely referring to the sleeping boy in the nap room, Sun happily answers.

"Oh, that's Gregory. He's the newest addition to Freddy's team."

Moondrop, the voice that has spoken before, became a spectacle. While both the Sun and Moon obeyed the rules made, Moondrop was made to enforce more than anything. A child being in the Daycare after hours is a heavy breach of those rules.

"He shouldn't be here. Give him to the night guard." Moon growled back. He does care about kids but knows the rules must be followed.

Sun became startled at Moon's sudden aggression towards the child but quickly recovered. Sundrop doesn't want to break his promise to Freddy and Gregory isn't in the best position to return to his parents. Especially if they are the ones who did this to him. Sun has to think quickly if he wants to keep his sunny promise.

"Wait, Moon. Freddy said not to say anything." Moon fell silent at his day counterpart and grew curious about the wording

"Frazbear told you not to report the child, what is his reason?" Moon asked in a very serious tone. Seeing no other way around this, Sun explains what transpired earlier.

Explaining everything to Moondrop was well,...straining to say the least. While reports from the Sun are usually very brief, he makes a habit of dragging and trailing off when it comes to Moon. Luckily for him, Moon could simply enter the memory bank and see what happened. Moon wonders sometimes why he even bothers asking if he could just do that simple task. After reviewing Sun's memories, Moon, begrudgingly, agrees to stay quiet. Moon hates a lot of things and one of the main things on his list is neglectful and abusive parents. Moon has seen enough to know the signs given. If Freddy is truly that desperate to help this child then fine.

Let's just hope Frazbear knows what he's doing.

Chapter Text

It's a new day at the Mega Pizzaplex and it is filled to the brim with activity. The silent air from last night is replaced by tsunamis of chatter as visitors by the hundreds flood the building with great excitement. The place was open for only a short time, but that hardly matters now as guests of many enter the building. Today was gonna be like any other day for the Pizzaplex staff as parties of various sizes were scheduled for throughout the entire workday. With no two parties being the same in some way, the staff has to do their best to not only confuse each partygoer but make sure each party is merely for the birthday girl or boy.

Starting the day strong, two out of the many large parties of the day were already at the front desk getting checked in. As they did that, the main attractions were getting ready for the upcoming shows they were scheduled to perform. They were due to perform one main show on stage and then split apart to attend the different parties they were rented out for. Some with have one of them while other parties will have two or more. This is the routine they are very familiar with since it happens every single day of the week. While having them all rented for one party wasn't impossible, it was definitely more rare compared to the setup they're used to. Once their time at their respective parties was over, they would wander the Pizzaplex greeting and spending time with other patrons. Giving everyone a chance to see and meet them before heading backstage to get ready for another performance.

While Freddy was show-ready the day ahead his nerves and mind were elsewhere. The events from last night were still relatively fresh in his mind with thoughts of it scattering in. Knowing today was going packed like any other day, Freddy needed to see the one child he found several hours ago. Despite knowing he's in good hands, he just couldn't help. He needed to see him himself. He was already prepared for the day ahead so this check-up would be very quick for him, even if he gets stopped by guests along the way.

So while the others continue to prep themselves for the upcoming show and parties, Freddy takes his time and quickly makes his way to the Superstar Daycare to check up on Gregory to see if he's doing alright. The animatronic bear made his way through the halls as group after group of people began entering further into the building. Small chatter becomes louder as more people enter one after the other. The once-emptied halls now bustling with activity. The journey to the Daycare was quick and easy. The first major show wasn't for another two hours so there was plenty of time to reach the daycare and come back without any fuss.

After a bit of walking and greeting guests of many ages, Freddy finally reaches the entrance of the party mall's daycare center, but before he can even knock on the wooden door, one of them suddenly flies open with such great force that Freddy actually had to step back a bit to avoid getting hit. Once he got his bearings back in order, he then saw the person behind the swinging door. The night guard of the Pizzaplex Alexander Von-Smith himself. Much like the many other human staff of the Pizzaplex, Alexander was much smaller than Freddy and other animatronics. His appearance was simple yet identifiable. Dark brown hair with subtle streaks of white within it, a light yet fair skin tone, and greyish-colored eyes that were surrounded by dark eye bags, all completed on a common middle-aged man's body. Not that's very out of shape, but good enough to get some jobs. Average to put it kindly.

Even though his shifts are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m., Alexander, for whatever reason, he'll come back later in the day and begin his typical harassment of both staff and customers, despite the fact he wasn't on shift and had no real reason to be there since he'll now complain that was oh so tired from 'keeping the place safe all night from wannabe intruders'. Despite the thick cloud of negativity, this knave carries with him, Freddy does his best to display a kind and inviting atmosphere when he or anyone is around. Regardless of his feelings about the person.

"Good morning, Officer Alexander!" Freddy greeted in a hardy tone, "Are you doing well this fine morning?"

A burning scowl was the reply Freddy received from him as he quickly ushered passed the bear to the stairs behind him. His pace was fast until he was completely out of sight, and with only words he spoke were ordering others to clear a path for him. Of course, Freddy didn't do much. He's not even sure why he even bothers with that man anyway. With a reluctant sigh, Freddy resumes his original goal and enters The Superstar Daycare.

As he entered the daycare, a puddle of small humans filled Freddy's vision as they ran about and played. There looked to be about twenty to twenty-five children in the daycare already with a clear promise of more to come later. These children were very young but were too busy playing and claiming as many toys as they could to notice the anthropomorphic bear close by.

"Why Heellooo, Freddy!" A familiar voice sang out.

Within seconds, the infamous Sundrop emerges from one of the two massive play structures and makes a beeline towards the singing bear. Freddy smiled brightly as the gloomy mood from Alexander dissipated and was replaced with Sun's shining energy.

"Good morning, Sundrop." Freddy started, "It's good to see you again. Excuse my intrusion, but I'm just here to check up on Gregory before heading off to perform. Is he doing alright?"

"Oh, he's doing wonderfully. He was really tired and didn't wake up once until just two hours ago. I was planning on giving him breakfast with other small friends since he didn't wake up and eat the meal I was saving for him last night."

These words danced within the crowded air as a heavy sigh of relief released from Freddy's person. The once fearful expression of him still haunted Freddy's memories as last night's events began to reinstall themselves. But now hearing that Gregory was doing much better than how he was found was something that Freddy really needed to hear after everything that happened last.

The two animatronics talked for a bit before it was time to part ways. The main stage show was due to begin in just a few minutes, and with Freddy being the main and only lead singer, he didn't have much time to stay and continue chatting. He only ever came there to check up on Gregory's condition. With the verification that he was doing well, Freddy quickly made haste and took off back to the rehearsal rooms. Sun, on the other hand, went back to caring for the many new and recurring friends in the daycare. At this time, more and more children began to fill the daycare as the silent air became a hurricane of happy chatter and laughter. This booming volume was normal for Sun since kids can get very loud when they're excited.

However, these increasing sounds were very new to the young boy who was hiding in a little room that looked similar to Sun's personal balcony room. The interior of this room was designed similarly to that of a dome garden structure but at a much smaller scale. It was made for children who needed to be alone or had sensory issues. Gregory was in the little room because Moondrop placed him there. He was originally sleeping in a known hiding stop in the play structure, but Moondrop knew he would be spotted there by the very few staff that work in the daycare. So he moved the young to the lived-in cubby hole he would be stopped since it was too high for a regular human to see unless they were standing a certain distance away.

Gregory looked over the small balcony to many children playing down below with one another with shining smiles plastered on their faces. Form blocks and decorated buckets were being used as the kids stacked and formed them into different structures of their imagination. Some are stacked so high that they'll tip over and fall to the ground which would make them laugh when they did. Those who weren't playing with the color-coded objects were rubbing colored sticks on paper as others watched over them. Still, from each group, laughter would erupt from their mouths as if what they were doing was entertaining.

All of it. Every last one of these elements was something new to Gregory. His parents would never let him play with other kids. Saying they were nothing but spoiled brats that make too much noise and messes they'll have to deal with. Gregory understood very little about what that meant but his parents' demeanors suggested that it was bad. However, looking at it now made the small boy curious. He had never seen people his age play before, and it appeared very fun. But Gregory was too scared to be near them. That was until someone approached him.

"Hello." A sweet young voice spoke nearby.

The sudden greeting startles Gregory as his head snapped toward the source of the voice. Looking back at him was a young little girl who looked to be around his age with nice darker skin than his, her hair pulled up into two neatly made buns, with an outfit of a light pink shirt and overalls above it. She stood under the den's balcony with a pure innocent look in her eyes. Gregory just stared at the young girl before she once again speaks to him.

"I'm Melody, who are you?" She asked politely.

"I-I'm Gr..Gre..Gregory." He replied in a shaky voice.

Melody smiled brightly as the chances of making a new friend became stronger. In that excitement, Melody asks Gregory to come and play with her as she points in the direction of the color-filled jungle gym. Gregory was hesitant, not knowing what to say. He never played with other kids before, let alone being asked to play. He would mostly stay in his bedroom and play alone with limited toys given to him via birthdays that other parents would call lack lustered. Alongside, the bedroom door being locked for a good portion of the day, he didn't get a chance to play properly with other kids during his time home. This would be the first time in his life he gets to play with another person his age. After some thought, Gregory eventually agreed to come and play.

The young boy descended from his den and was immediately dragged by his arm to one of the play structures. This touch, however, was familiar but for the wrong reason. Despite his body moving, his mind was blank as memories flashed in quick success. Being grabbed by his father flickered in and out of reality as tears threatened to form. But before the memory could finish, a sudden loud bang rattled the area as Gregory snapped back into the present.

Once Gregory arrived in reality, he was surrounded by colored, mismatched walls, and patterns he didn't know were possible to exist. He was in the play structure with Melody right by his side. The pair began exploring the chaotic playground as they pretended to be explorers venturing through a thick lushest jungle. As they played, they would encounter a few other kids along the way playing their own game with their creative fantasies. Some were cave divers while others were dragons hoarding their precious gold from evil bandits. Sometimes the different groups would combine both fantasies so they could all play together.

"Gregory? Where are you, sunshine?" The voice cries in a worrying note.

'Sundrop?' Gregory thought as the voice repeats itself. Remembering his name from when Freddy said it.

Seconds after the voice echoed through the air, a quick-paced movement could be heard rapidly approaching him. Before a chance to react could be made, the iconic mascot of the daycare appeared before right him with his semi-worried look painted on his hard plastic face. The sense of worry swiftly dissolved and was replaced with relief and joy once the boy he was looking for was right in front of him.

"There you are Sunshine! You had me worry." Sun expressed as he gently guided Gregory out of the play area and onto the matted ground in the daycare center. "Come on now, friend. It's time to some eat delicious food to fill you up with the energy to continue playing."

Gregory held Sundrop's hand as he guided him to where the other children were. Melody was there as well, sitting on a blue-colored mat with snacks in front of her. She became separated from Gregory in the play structure and was unable to find her again. She alerted Sun of this and that was why he came looking for him. Other kids were eating as well with each one either sharing a mat or sitting on one alone. It was mostly the latter. Sun decided to sit Gregory alone since interacting with others was still very new to the young boy. Once he was seated, Sun gave him a small box of snacks for him to eat for the morning. Inside was sectioned into three small parts and one big part with different types of food being held in each one.

In three cubbies were fruit, frozen yogurt cups, and a small orange juice. The main cubby had three sausage links and scrabbled eggs. This, sadly, was also new to the young boy. Though the food within the small box was very little for others, it was memories to him. With certain foods being the first he saw of them. Though the fear of the new environment around him was still present, the thought of what else lingered closely behind.

What else is here?

Chapter 6: In The Corner of a Eye

Summary:

The Pizzaplex was in full swing and the chances of risk is higher. In a place where a child can enjoy themselves to the fullest, the chances off wandering off and exploring the mega mall is very likely. However, after a incident in the Daycare, Gregory is left alone in a unknown location of the Pizzaplex and is unsure on what to do.

On top of that, a certain security guard and bear catches wind of a unattended young boy wander by himself. It's only a matter of who gets to the child first.

Chapter Text

"Alrighty my little rays of sunshine, who's ready to draw and plaaay?" The daycare's mascot sang happily to many young souls before him as he pulled buckets of crayons and coloring papers of different Frazbear characters from one of the many hidden compartments around the play floor.

It was roughly 11:35 in the afternoon and the Mega Pizzaplex was now in full swing. The place was now completely packed with visitors and families enjoying themselves as they scattered around to see as much of the place as possible. The daycare was now filled with different young children as they rushed to grab as many papers and crayons as they could so they could enjoy themselves. Sundrop, one-half of the daycare's mascot, joined the small humans as they drew many things that appeared within their creative minds. But while only some children participated in the activity, others played with the colorful barrels and form blocks as the rest explored the jungle gyms. Gregory, however, was on a small island within the Daycare's ball pit playing a game named Survivors and Rescuers with another small group of other children. Some were a bit older than him while others were the same age. Despite being unfamiliar with the game, Gregory was included for the game to be fair. While the choice of not wanting to play was present, little Gregory was a bit too shy to say no.

The game was simple. Survivors would go to a random location and wait for those who had to rescue them. Depending on the location, hints and clues would be said to give the rescuers a chance to find the survivors. The game is over with the rescuer who has found the most survivors. Gregory became very loved in this game since he's a very good hider regardless of where he goes. A trait he developed for.......specific reason.

The game started a while ago with three rounds already passing. It was now the fourth round and Gregory was a survivor once again. In every round, he was a survivor. The other kids didn't mind however since it was clear he was very shy when it came to other people. They even witnessed as he did when an adult came in briefly. The game was over in minutes with Gregory being the last to be found. Per usual. It was after this round that the small group of toddlers decided to end the game. Playing a game for an hour and a half doesn't have much bearing on young kids if the premise of it stays the same each time. Knowing that the small band of kids began brainstorming on which game they should play next.

While the children discuss and even argue about the next entertainment form they should take part in, Gregory takes his chance to head towards the foam blocks near the daycare entrance. Once there, he began using the foam blocks to build a small wall around him so he could read a book Sun had given to him some time prior. The book looked to be interesting and he was told it was about a robot living in the wild. As he began opening the book and reading the words printed on it, he suddenly realized something.

It's weird, to be honest. For most of his life, he was told that other children were nothing but terrible, dishonest, and messy little brats that their parents allowed to run free. They were mean, stuck up, and would pick on him for the way he acted. Mommy always said that to him every time he asked to go outside to play with the kids that lived around. It was her reason for keeping him at home, to protect him. Gregory had never been with children so he only trusted his mother's words. She's never wrong! But then, why is here so different? Everyone has been nothing but kind to him and played with him even though he didn't want to. They called him "fun" when he was hiding from them in their game and "cute" when they saw his appearance. He didn't understand. How could his mother, the one who brought him into this world and cared for him (kind of) be ...so wrong about other kids?

These thoughts skittered and danced within the young boy's head until a creak broke his silent air and brought him back to reality. Wondering where that creaking was coming from, he quickly perked up as he watched the large double doors slowly open to reveal two women and a man with bright blue and yellow shirts walking through. Daycare workers. One of them had long black hair with a pale skin tone while the other was blond with a darker complexion. The only male there had semi-long dark hair but his eyes were slightly more narrowed. Reminding Gregory of his grandpappy or his mom's dad. Gregory watched the trio from the corner as the two workers talked to one another before stepping behind the large counter near the door of the daycare. Leaving the door behind them open. Despite the limited space presented, Gregory was able to see the waves of colors and the many families walking in and out of the hallway beyond the door.

'Is there...., more here?' Gregory thought as stared at the many figures walking past the heavy wooden door.

To be fair to the poor boy, he has only ever seen the lobby and the daycare since his appearance last night. And since the lobby area is an immediate right from the daycare, and his face was mostly buried in the soft pelt of the mall's mascot, he wasn't really able to see much of the place.  Some were small like him while others towered over each other. Much like his parents. Once again, the strange feeling of wonder began peaking its head the more Gregory stared. It was tempting. But he wasn't sure if he could leave. It was always a rule from his parents that Gregory never leave the house. A rule he followed up until last night, but that was beside the point. Then the memories of all the pretty colors that dressed the walls of the building began flashing in Gregory's head. The shimmer lights created pictures of things he had never seen, and the many colorful large boxes that displayed moving drawings on them. He knew they were out there, beyond those doors.

After a few seconds of thinking, a decision was made. He wants to see more, even just for a little while. Besides, it's not like they'll notice him gone anyway. Gregory is used to being forgotten. Some times for hours or days. Mom and Dad said it was normal, so why does it matter that he's gone for a minute or two? With a few final thoughts, Gregory carefully made his way toward the wooded door and slipped through the open crack before any soul could notice. It was easy. Very easy.

Gregory stood outside the wooden door as waves of people of all ages walked passed him to and from different locations. Small stores dotted the outer wall as people went in and out of them. Some came out with toys while others were holding fancy cups and other small items. The sight was jawing, so many things happening all at once as the young boy stared in both awe and fear. It was truly something new to him. While a decent amount of fear was present, Gregory only began to move when a particular item caught his attention. It was a stuffed toy. A plushie that was shaped and colored like the animatronic that helped late last night, sitting on a small display shelf with many copies of it companying it. Freddy.

Gregory slowly made his way to the as his eyes never wavered from the plush toy. The shelf itself was just low enough for the young boy to grab one and hold the toy in his small little hand as stared at it for a bit. It was extremely soft with a small fuzz on its surface. The eyes were printed on along with other details. From that alone, Gregory remembers the events from the last night. How gently Freddy held him in his arms and the feeling of his soft yet short fur rubbing against his cheek. Gregory felt safe with Freddy, he cared about him. Freddy helped him while no one else did. It felt ....right to him.

However, the calming peace Gregory had at that moment was quickly replaced with surprising fear when a sudden room-shaking boom rang out through the area quickly followed by ungodly screams filling the already noisy air. Tsunamis of people began running and barreling over one another as children and adults made haste to flee from the unwanted noise. Gregory fell in the middle of the chaos as adults unconsciously pushed passed him and other small kids towards the stairs and out the double doors. Before he could even think, Gregory was now in the main lobby area surrounded by panicked adults and crying children. The suddenness of it all began flooding the young with dread as unwanted images from 'that day' began to flash within his eyes. But this... this was far worse than that day. Tears began to form as he huddled close to a corner with his newfound plush in his arms.

After about ten to fifteen minutes of calming kids and reassuring parents eventually, the chaos soon began to fizzle out as people settled down and went off to elsewhere in the Pizzaplex. Crying kids became happy again when the mention of an upcoming concert rang in their ears. Cheer and excitement filled the once-depressing air as kids began rushing to get to the main part of the mall.

These words, however, were unheard of by Gregory. Though he was still very shaken up from the prior chaos, he too began to calm down a bit but not completely. He never heard of a concert before, or a stage for that matter. Even though the fright from before was still present, he was curious about this concert that was soon to happen. So like before, although a bit more calmly, Gregory follows a large group of children and parents to another part of the building. He blends in well with the other smaller kids so no one found him weird or out of place. But his present would soon be noticed in the place he's supposed to be.

Meanwhile, back in the daycare, the source of the disaster was taken care of and the children there were now calm once more. Sun nearly overheated as he scrabbled to calm down the kids and protect them as well. Two employees from before were also there alongside three more that came to help clean the mess that was left behind. As it turns out, a medium-sized toy that was meant to entertain the kids while Sun was busy had been damaged the day before and combusted into a small fire. Which was the source of the loud boom from earlier. The fire wasn't big and no child was near it when it exploded, so no one was harmed.

The fire was quickly put out and a headcount was done to see if every child was there and accounted for. This headcount was done over and over and over since one particular child was missing from Sun's count. Quietly panicking to himself as he searches every nook and cranny in hopes of finding this missing boy.  Around this time a familiar face appeared to see if everything was alright. Freddy. Freddy heard what had happened over a silent distress call in his system. A feature he planted in himself due to his protective nature.

"Is everything alright, I heard there was a situation that has happened?" Freddy asked with a concerned look on his face.

"Yes Freddy, but everything is fine now. It was just a faulty toy." One employee answered.

Despite that answer from an employee, Freddy sets his sights on Sundrop since he is in charge of the child which is currently very important to Freddy. He was worried that Gregory might've gotten hurt during all this. He's a timid child who has experienced some sort of trauma in his past. He doesn't need any more stress on him. When he found Sun, he was done counting children to see if anyone was missing. All the children were there and went off to play once they were called. However, Sun was standing alone with a distraught look to him. Something was wrong.

"Sundrop," Freddy called "Is everything okay, how's Gregory? I came to see if he had gotten injured during this commotion." Sun didn't respond. Instead, he slowly turns towards the rockstar bear and speaks the only word Freddy didn't want to hear at that moment.

"Gregory's ....gone"

Chapter Text

Hello to all my fanfic readers. It is currently been two years (good lord) since I touched this fanfic in any way shape, and form. But ever so recently, my obsession with Fnaf has reignited and I'm now continuing this fanfic from where I left off and some changes. Changes involved me going back and correcting and changing some of the previous chapters to better fit my vision and the direction I wanted to go towards.

Doing this is also a great stress relief for me since I have both now a job and college to worry about and the stress of both is starting to get to me. Is it a better option than going to a therapist, no but I broke and this is the next best thing. So be on the lookout for new upcoming chapters and updates.

It's good to be back.

Chapter Text

"What do you mean he's gone?!" Freddy questioned his mixing with fear and worry. Sundrop just stood as his head darted over the room on repeat. As if Gregory was going to appear to be saved from this conversation.

"He just disappeared." Sundrop vocalized. "He was in the daycare with all the children but vanished when a mishap happened."

Freddy began frantically looking around the daycare before entering the lobby outside the daycare's doors. If he disappeared after the mishap, it would suggest that he became terrified by the sudden event, left the daycare in a panic, and got lost in the tsunami of confused people. Knowing this, it would mean that he's still in the building. But where, is the real issue.

Freddy scaled the nearby stairs and entered the lobby area. His robotic eyes scanned the entire lobby but had no signs of the young child. If he wasn't in the lobby, that would mean... he was in the main building. A young five-year-old timid boy shouldn't be alone in the Pizzaplex, especially after what he possibly went through. Freddy could feel his circuits heating up as he quickly made his course to the main area of the Pizzaplex in search of his small friend. While Freddy was practically rushing to the main area, he did his best not to make himself obvious. Greeting and socializing with visitors who approached him while he was actively looking for Gregory. When he finally reached the main stage area and stood on the high-rise balcony, Freddy began a virtual space scan. This was feature one of many that the animatronics of the Pizzaplex possess while still having something unique for each one.

The scan only lasted thirty seconds as Freddy's robotic eyes scanned everyone in the main stage area. Registering every person present with a matching Pizzaplex visitor ID. One may think this would be ineffective since Gregory was never given a visitor ID or registered at the front desk. And that would be right. However, Freddy was so worried for the young boy's wellbeing that he made Gregory an ID specially for him. This ID wasn't a visitor ID nor was it an employee ID. This ID has only been used twice before and it was known as a SIU pass or the Specialized Identification Unit ID. This form of ID was made to give specific individuals access to the mall attraction for an unlimited amount of time. The SIU ID hasn't been used since the Pizzaplex first opened its doors. Only two were ever made and those were for the CEO and the building designer respectfully.

Now, since this type of identification hasn't been used for the past five years, not many staff know about this specialized ID that also allows the recipient access to every single room in the Mega Pizzaplex. But only with the catch of it being very easy to track at any given time. A feature that was given solely to the animatronics after two years of the mall's opening.

However, despite the massive advantage this ID holds for the little boy, Freddy is still unable to locate Gregory as his scans come out empty time and time again. Worry and dread consumed him bit by bit with each failed scan.

"Come on come on. Where can you be?" Freddy muttered to himself. Becoming more and more frantic. "He has to be here somewhere."

After one final full-area scan, Freddy cursed to himself before going to another section of the Pizzaplex in search of his lost boy. He couldn't have gone far, even for a five-year-old or whatever his age is. Despite having an upcoming show in roughly an hour, Freddy began his frantic search for this lost child, all while acting as natural as possible to both guests and staff. He needed to find Gregory. He has to find him.

While Freddy frantically searches for his special visitor, Gregory himself is enjoying the awe-inspiring site of the Mega Pizzaplex. Breaking off from the group he was originally traveling with, Gregory began exploring and taking in all the pretty colors and lights that decorated the mall's interior. From the many moving lights on the walls to decorations of Freddy and three other animatronics that seem to be as popular as him. For the most part, Gregory stayed near the edges of the main show area to avoid getting in people's way. It also helps him be less noticeable as well. Though he was careful of who might stop him. Avoiding lone adults and Pizzaplex as not to be seen.

As Gregory explored further into the main area, something of uncertainty caught his attention. Not something visual but more... aroma-like. It smelled good to him, piquing his interest while also making his mouth drool a little bit. Following the good scent, Gregory soon found himself in front of a small section of the large space that had a lot more chairs and tables to sit around. And not from them were large rooms with a few people walking back and forth within them. Puzzled, Gregory watches a bit longer as the cheerful person in front hands trays and baggies filled with food to people who came forward with green rectangular paper or small plastic cards that they'll jam into a weird-looking box. An exchange for one thing for another.

While the food smelled very good to Gregory, he knew could have some of whatever those adults were making since he didn't have either green paper or plastic cards other adults had. Asking for help was completely out of the question since confrontation of any kind terrified the small boy. Defeated, Gregory made his way to a nearby pillar and sat against it, hugging his Glamrock Freddy plush tightly as he wondered what the real Freddy was doing. However, Gregory's silence moment of peace and hunger quickly came to an end when he was the following voice speak directly in front of him.

"Hey there, little friend. Are you lost?" A very sweet yet robotic voice asked.

Startled. Gregory's head shoots up to see who was the source of the talking vocal. Standing in front of him was a white, bird-based animatronic that looked to be wearing a pink colored jumpsuit with mismatched leg warmers. She also had pink markings on her cheeks with a darker colored applied on her beak as lipstick. Gregory recognized her, seeing her standing next to Freddy in many of the art scattered around the Pizzplex. Glamrock Chica the Chicken.

She was pretty and seemed very nice. Her voice was a bit on the higher side, but other than that, nothing about seemed to frighten the young boy or make him wary of her. But seeing Chica in person was still an experience in and of itself. So much so that Gregory didn't answer the question she had asked him. Choosing to stay silent as he takes in more of her colorful appearance.

Luckily for him, this behavior isn't new to Chica. She noticed him while on her way to one of the many Pizzaplex eating establishments to sneak or steal, some yummy treats for herself to enjoy. While this may seem strange for an animated mechanical robot to be seeking out food to eat, Chica as well as the other Glamrocks are more than able to consume human-based foods if they want to. This is due to a specialized compartment in each attraction that allows them to eat and hold food. This feature was added since some kids are very kind and often share the food they get with others they like. The animatronics are no exception. But despite that, it's still recommended they avoid consuming the food since it can leak from a damaged compartment and destroy their system if they're not careful.

This recommended warning, however, doesn't deter Chica from eating as much as she wants, whenever she wants. But her food-related adventure was placed on hold as she stopped to help a helpless boy in his time of need. She started by sitting next to him but not too close, a gesture that eased the boy a bit, which was good. Her eyes scanned the boy over before speaking to him once more.

"Ya know, the real version of that bear you're holding is very good of mine." Chica vocalized as she continued to scan him. This piqued Gregory's interest and he lifted his head a bit.

"R-Really?" Gregory quietly mutters. Just enough for the robotic chicken to hear.

"Yeah! He's super sweet and just loves meeting his fans. I can take you to him if you want."

Before Gregory could answer back, his small stomach let out a small growl loud enough for Chica herself to hear despite the small gap between them. The sudden noise made the Rockstar chicken chuckle a bit before scooping up the small human into her mechanical arms. Much like Freddy, her body was also very textured. Her exco shell is lined with small mini feathers that are very soft when touched. Her head and tail feathers were the same but at a much larger scale while still being very fine. Looked very close to actual hair and or fur. She peeks a small kiss onto Gregory's cheek before moving toward the concession stands to get her and her new little friend something to eat. Paying with some Frazbear voucher tickets she mostly likely stole at one point or another.

After getting some fries with nacho cheese dip and a large paper bag filled with pizza pockets (those being for Chica), the sweet bird animatronic then carries the small boy to her greenroom so they can eat together. Since Gregory was a very shy and timid boy, Chica it would be best for him to eat somewhere he can be comfortable. And despite her and her band's performance happening in about forty-five minutes, she rather spend her time with her new friend than hear the constant complaints from the show director.

After reaching Chica's green rooms, the robotic chicken set up a nice little spot on her sofa so she and Gregory to eat together. Taking her time and talking gently to him so he can be comfortable. A method that seemed to work since Gregory became less tense and more talkative. With a bit more time, Gregory became comfortable enough for Chica to clean and style his hair. Chica noticed that Gregory's hair was a bit dirty and looked like a brush hadn't touched a brush for a very long time. But it was nothing a little dry shampoo and a no-tension brush can't fix.

As Chica was spending time with her new mini-friend, the animatronic bear that had been looking for him for the past fifteen minutes entered Rockstar Way from the main entrance. Tired from his search and wanted to recharge himself before the upcoming show. Luckily, Rockstar Way was surprisingly empty at the moment since guests were scrambling to get good seats for the performance, leaving this part of the Pizzaplex barren for a bit of time. The constant scanning and running up and down the mall ran up Freddy's battery in his search for Gregory. All he knows is that the boy is still in the building somewhere. Knowing that, Freddy just needs to quickly charge himself and do well during the concert so he can spend the rest of his free time searching for his little human.

However, right before Freddy was about to enter his green room, he heard the sound of one of the green room doors sliding open with footsteps following closely behind. Figured that it was most likely one of his bandmates, Freddy decided that it wouldn't hurt to greet them real quick before going to charge. Stepping from around his corner, his voice was ready to greet whoever had come out of the rooms but quickly stopped when his eyes landed on the very person he was looking for.

"GREGORY!" Freddy loudly remarked as he rushed toward the boy in the chicken's arm. His voice and face were laced with worry as he gently took Gregory from Chica and held him close. "Thank goodness you're okay."

"Aww. Looks like the big teddy bear was looking for you too, hatchling.~" Chica remarked with a smile which made Freddy a bit embarrassed. Being mostly known as the calm rational one of the Glamrocks, Freddy doesn't show many strong emotions unless the situation calls for it. Yes, he can be a bit sassy here and there but that's only when his nerves are being played with.

"I apologize for my sudden outburst, Chica. It's just I've been....in charge of this young boy and lost track of him." Freddy nervously explained himself. While the Glamrocks aren't usually left in charge of a lone child, it's not all that common for them to have one day with a special birthday girl or boy.

"That's okay, Freddy. I understand. That being said, there was a small issue I was having with him. Not bad about him." Freddy began to get a bit more nervous as he guessed what Chica may have been referring to.

"I was having some issues with his visitor ID. The poor thing doesn't seem to have one but instead has a SIU ID. But that's okay. I'll just run a quick report to the front desk to let them know." Hearing those last few words sends Freddy into a panic.

Despite the detailed planning he had done for Gregory's safety, he somehow forgot that the other animatronics had access to the ID unit database. A very costly mistake on Freddy's part. Didn't want to just leave Gregory alone and get found out by the staff. Because if he did, there was a very high chance he'd be back to the very parents that drove him away to begin with. The thought alone frightens and angers Freddy. So without missing a single second, Freddy blurts out.

"NO!" He yelped. Startling both Chica and Gregory who buries his face into Freddy's shoulder. Masking his face with the bear's pelt-like fur. Chica, however, was stunned and confused.

She didn't think that Freddy, the calmest and gentlest person she knew would react so strongly to what she thought was an honest mistake on the human staff's behalf. She wasn't even able to finish the report and send it. Of course, Freddy immediately felt guilty for the sudden outburst. He usually never gets this worked up with little reason or any reason for that matter. Seeing no way to explain his actions, Freddy knew it was time to tell the truth. Chica was going to ask him about it anyway and the chances of her telling the others were very high as well, so the warning question wasn't needed.

Even if she and the others don't question the kid's assigned ID, how was he going explain to them and the staff why a little boy with a highly ranked ID profile was there almost every single day without a single parent in sight? No parent with common sense would leave their child at an entertainment mall day after day without checking up on him or asking staff about him. Letting out a deep sigh from his maw, Freddy explained himself.

"Sigh...I didn't want this situation to come this far, but I guess I don't have much of a choice now. Chica, I was the one who gave Gregory here a SIU ID." Freddy said slightly ashamed. "But I do have my reason."

Chica stayed silent for a bit before speaking her words. "Freddy, why would give such a young child? Not even the head of security has that kind of privilege."

"It was to protect him, Chica," Freddy said while rubbing Gregory's back. Soothing the young boy as he grew more and more tired.

"You see, I found Gregory in the lobby last night huddled in a far corner. I guess is that he must've slipped in right before the front doors closed for the night. The poor thing was badly frightened and it took me 10 minutes to convince him to let me help. It took even longer than that to treat his injuries when I took him to the daycare to be treated by Sundrop. I helped him of course but I noticed he was covered in bruises and cuts that looked too forceful to be caused by accident." He paused. Feeling the weight of last tightening his mechanical chest.

Chica, ever so silent by the bear's confession, speaks in a worried yet sad tone. "I see...Oh, that poor baby." She spoke as she reached and gently stroked Gregory's back. His face was still buried in Freddy's shoulders as he was very close to falling asleep since the food Chica got was a lot. More than what he's used to.

Out of all the Glamrock, Chica is the most emotional. She loves kids like everyone else and sees them as her chicks when under her care. So hearing that this sweet little boy was most likely harmed in his own home or something similar deeply troubled her. The two stood in silence for a bit until another question crossed her mind.

"Wait. Did you tell Alexander about him? I remembered him being the night guard on shift last night."

Freddy shook his head no. He then explained how he didn't want Alexander to know about Gregory or Freddy's involvement with the small human. Remarking how Alexander might have called the police and returned the boy to his abusive past. Which Freddy didn't want since the people who gave him his injuries, likely his parents, would worsen their treatment of him. This made Chica sigh with relief. Much like Freddy, Chica was not very fond of Von-Smith's behavior and attitude. For Chica, he'll comment that if Chica was human, she would be the fattest, ugliest human to ever exist while also calling her a trashing-eating rotisserie. While Chica would eat trash when she could and accepted this about herself, the comments and name-calling were still uncalled for. Even Roxy found it harsh and she and Monty are known to curse out staff and some parents if given the chance.

After a bit of talking and discussing, it was decided that Gregory would stay in Freddy's room until their upcoming concert was over. Upon which Freddy would sneak Gregory back to the daycare so Sundrop could keep a closer eye on him until closing hours. It would also be in Freddy's best interest to inform both Monty and Roxy about the situation too so they would be alarmed by a human adolescent boy being coddled by Freddy and Chica later. A discussion will happen in private after the concert and during their half-hour downtime.

That being settled, Freddy bids a temporary farewell to Chica before going back to his room and placing Gregory on the couch in his room. Closing the curtains and placing a blanket with his logo on it (it was all he had) over the small boy's body before dimming down the lights to him more comfortable with the only sources of light being thin strips of blue LED lights in each corner of the room. Those were dimmed already. With Gregory asleep, Freddy took this time as well to charge his battery. He used a lot of it in search of his small friend. And despite having enough battery life to last him for the next 5 hours, he didn't want to risk shutting down on accident. With that, he stepped into the charging chamber and rested. Feeling hopeful that the next few hours won't go wrong in any way.

.....Hopefully.
