Over the course of Tommy's life, he's met many people, all good in their own way. Any maybe they can help one another as much as they've helped him.

Techno flinched, closing his eyes with a wince. “Don’t hit me for the question I’m about to ask.”
Phil scowled. “…No promises, I’ll do my best.”
“Are you certain that if I don’t do this, Tommy will die?”
Phil’s eyes came alight with fury for a fraction of a second. Was Techno threatening to not help Tommy?! What on Earth was he-
“Don’t hit me!” Techno whined, shielding his face. “It’s an honest question! This stuff is dangerous, I need to know you want me to do this.”
He froze, eyes trained on the pale face of the child laying beside him. He was hollow, and shivering, a sheen of sweat on his cheeks. He was…
God, he was dying.
“I’m sure.” He whispered, looking up at Techno with teary eyes. “Please, kid. Help him.”
